Bang 200ml Strawberry Kiwi shortfill overview

Bang 200ml Shortfill E-Liquid Strawberry Kiwi is a nicotine-free fruit e-liquid in a large 200ml bottle, priced at £9.99 on VapeShopOnline. It is made for refillable vaping devices such as tank kits and refillable pods, and it is sold at 0mg, so the liquid in the bottle contains no nicotine as supplied. The flavour is exactly what the name promises: ripe strawberry paired with kiwi, filed on our site under strawberry, kiwi and mixed berries.

The bottle belongs to the wider family of shortfill e-liquids we stock, which currently runs to 368 products across many brands. Within that family, Bang is one of the simplest lines to shop. The Bang range has 27 products, every one a 200ml shortfill at 0mg and £9.99, so there is no strength menu, no size menu and no price ladder to decode. You pick a flavour and that is the whole decision.

Who is it for? Mostly adults who already own a refillable device and get through e-liquid at a steady rate. A big bottle makes sense when you are tired of reordering 10ml bottles every week, and it makes even more sense when your kit is a tank or a refillable pod system where the liquid is something you pour in yourself. It is not suitable for disposable vapes or pre-filled pod kits, because those arrive sealed and cannot be topped up from a bottle.

A few details deserve plain speaking before we go any further. We do not list the VG to PG ratio or the exact fill volume inside the bottle, and we would rather say so than guess. The label on the bottle is the final word on both. Everything else in this guide, from flavour to mixing to troubleshooting, is built from what the listing does tell us, plus general knowledge that holds true for shortfills as a type. All sales on this site are strictly for adults aged 18 or over, and nothing here is aimed at non-smokers or anyone underage.

Shortfill explained: why the bottle is so big

Shortfill is a UK trade term rather than a technical one, and it exists because of a size rule. E-liquid that contains nicotine can only be sold in bottles of up to 10ml. Nicotine-free liquid has no such cap. That is why a bottle of 0mg Strawberry Kiwi can hold 200ml while a nicotine salt bottle in the same shop is 10ml at most.

The word itself describes how the bottle is filled. A shortfill is deliberately not filled to the brim, because the empty space is there so you can add nicotine shots later if you want them. We do not list the exact fill volume or the headroom for this particular bottle, so read the label when it arrives and plan around what it actually says rather than a guess. If you never plan to add nicotine, none of that matters, and you simply pour the liquid as it comes.

It helps to be clear on what 0mg means in practice. As supplied, this bottle contains no nicotine. Many adults use nicotine-free liquid exactly like that, because they like the ritual and the flavour and do not want nicotine in the mix. Others buy it as a base and add a shot or two to reach a strength they prefer. Both uses are legitimate, and the bottle supports both. What it does not do is deliver nicotine on its own, so anyone expecting a ready-to-vape strength straight out of the box will be disappointed.

If you want to see how the format compares across brands, our nicotine-free e-liquids collection also shows 368 products, because in the UK the nicotine-free and shortfill categories overlap almost completely. Every one of them is sold to adults only, and every order on this site is age-checked, so a nicotine-free label is not a loophole for anyone under 18.

One more practical point. Shortfill bottles are not sealed pods or cartridges. They are plain liquid, and everything that happens afterwards, from filling a tank to choosing a coil, is your job. That is the price of the low cost per millilitre, and it is a trade most regular vapers accept happily once they have done it a few times.

Strawberry and kiwi: what to expect in the flavour

Sweet fruit and sharp fruit make a reliable pair, and that is the whole logic behind strawberry kiwi. The strawberry side usually arrives first: a soft, rounded sweetness that sits somewhere between fresh fruit and fruit sweets. The kiwi follows with a green, slightly tart edge that stops the sweetness from becoming heavy. Together they tend to taste bright and juicy rather than creamy or dessert-like.

We should be straight about the limits of what we know. Bang does not publish a tasting chart for this bottle, and the listing carries only the flavour names plus our own tags for strawberry, kiwi and mixed berries. So the description here is how this pairing generally behaves in e-liquid, not a claim about a secret recipe. Taste is personal, and what reads as tart to one person is mild to another.

A few things will change what you actually experience. Wattage is the big one. Many vapers find that hotter vapour flattens delicate fruit notes and pushes the sweetness forward, while a lower setting keeps the kiwi crisper. The coil matters too, because a fresh coil gives the cleanest flavour and an old one muddies everything. Adding a nicotine shot thins the flavour very slightly, since the unflavoured shot adds volume without adding fruit, though with one or two shots in 200ml the effect is small.

There is no menthol or ice tag on this listing, so do not expect a cooling finish. If that is what you want, Bang makes a Mrs Menthol bottle in the same size and at the same price. It also helps to know how this flavour sits next to its relatives in the range. Plain Strawberry is simpler and sweeter. Strawberry Lemonade brings a sour citrus snap. Grape Strawberry is deeper and darker. Strawberry Kiwi lands in the middle: lighter than the grape version, less sharp than the lemonade one, and a good fit if you want fruit that tastes fresh without turning sour. Anyone who found standard strawberry flavours too sugary will probably get on better with the kiwi's tartness.

Who this bottle suits, and who should look elsewhere

Start with the obvious buyer: an adult who already owns a refillable device and vapes every day. If you have a tank kit or a refillable pod system and you are buying 10ml bottles every few days, a 200ml shortfill removes most of that churn. One order covers weeks or months, and the price per millilitre falls sharply. People who keep a spare bottle by the sink and top up whenever the tank runs low tend to like this format best.

It also suits anyone who likes to tinker. Because the liquid is nicotine-free, you decide the strength. You can leave it at 0mg, add a single shot, or build up to a level you prefer over time. People who rotate flavours will like the Bang range for a related reason: all 27 products share one price and one size, so trying a new flavour never costs more than the last one.

Now the people who should look elsewhere. If your device is a disposable, this bottle is no use to you, because a disposable is sealed and cannot be refilled. The same applies to pre-filled pod systems with locked pods. Anyone who wants to pick something up and use it immediately would be better served by our disposable vapes, which need no setup at all. Anyone who prefers a pod format but wants to refill it should look at refillable vape pods, which are built to take bottled liquid.

Shortfill is also a poor fit if you want a ready-made nicotine strength without any mixing. In that case a nicotine salt e-liquid in a 10ml bottle is the simpler route. And if you want a cooling or ice-style finish, this particular flavour will not give you one.

Finally, a note on who should not be buying nicotine products at all. Everything we sell is for adults aged 18 or over. Nicotine products are not suitable for non-smokers, young people, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. A 0mg bottle is not a reason to relax that rule, because it is still sold as a vaping product and every order here is age-checked.

The numbers: size, strength, price and cost per millilitre

Here are the facts we can state with confidence, taken straight from the listing and our own range data:

  • Name: Bang 200ml Shortfill E-Liquid Strawberry Kiwi
  • Format: shortfill e-liquid for refillable devices
  • Bottle size: 200ml
  • Nicotine strength: 0mg as supplied
  • Price: £9.99
  • Flavour: Strawberry Kiwi, tagged strawberry, kiwi and mixed berries
  • Brand range: 27 Bang products on the site, all 200ml, all 0mg, all £9.99

Two details are missing from that list on purpose. We do not publish the VG to PG ratio, and we do not publish the exact volume of liquid inside the bottle beyond the 200ml in the product name. Both appear on the bottle itself, so check the label on arrival.

The number that matters most to regular vapers is cost per millilitre. At £9.99 for 200ml, this works out at roughly 5p per ml. Compare that with a 10ml bottle at £2, which is what the 5 for £10 e-liquid offer comes to where it applies, and you are paying about 20p per ml, around four times as much. The shortfill is plainly cheaper for anyone who actually uses it up.

How long will 200ml last? That depends entirely on how you vape. A light user getting through about 2ml a day would take around 100 days. At 5ml a day, which is common with a sub-ohm tank, the bottle lasts about 40 days. A heavy user at 10ml a day would finish it in around 20 days. These are illustrative sums, not promises, and your own consumption will vary with your device, wattage and habits.

If you add nicotine shots, remember that they cost extra and that they add volume, which stretches the bottle a little further. Budget for that before comparing prices, and bear in mind that a bottle you never finish is not good value, however low the unit price looks.

Adding nicotine shots: a clear mixing guide

Adding nicotine to a shortfill is simple arithmetic and a bit of patience. First, the formula. Final strength in mg per ml equals the number of shots multiplied by the shot volume and the shot strength, divided by the total volume once everything is in the bottle. Most nicotine shots are 10ml and many are 18mg per ml, though some are 20mg, so read the shot label rather than assuming.

Using 200ml of this liquid and 10ml shots at 18mg per ml, the results work out as follows:

  • 1 shot gives roughly 0.9mg per ml in 210ml
  • 2 shots give roughly 1.6mg per ml in 220ml
  • 3 shots give roughly 2.3mg per ml in 230ml
  • 4 shots give 3mg per ml in 240ml
  • 5 shots give roughly 3.6mg per ml in 250ml
  • 6 shots give roughly 4.2mg per ml in 260ml

The catch is space. You can only add as many shots as the bottle has room for, and we do not list the headroom for this bottle. If the label shows the bottle cannot hold what you need, pour the liquid into a larger clean bottle first, or mix a smaller amount and keep the rest at 0mg.

The process itself is short:

  • Step one: wash and dry your hands, and work over a surface you do not mind wiping down.
  • Step two: open the shortfill and the shot bottle, then pour the shot in carefully.
  • Step three: cap the bottle tightly and shake for at least thirty seconds so the nicotine spreads evenly.
  • Step four: leave it for a day or so, shaking now and then, before you judge the flavour.
  • Step five: write the new strength and the date on the bottle, because a 0mg label no longer tells the truth.

Treat nicotine liquid with respect. It should live out of reach of children and pets, and if any gets on your skin, wash it off with cold water and soap. Nicotine is addictive, and this is only for adults who already use it. Add one shot at a time if you are unsure. Raising the strength later is easy; taking nicotine back out is impossible.

Choosing a nicotine strength that fits your habits

Strength is a personal call, and the right answer changes with your device and habits. In a shortfill you have more control than almost anywhere else, because you start from zero and build up. The sensible approach is to begin lower than you think you need and adjust one step at a time.

0mg is the bottle as it comes. It suits people who vape for flavour and routine, adults who have already cut their nicotine right down, and anyone who simply does not want nicotine in the mix. Around 3mg is a common first target for adults who use a sub-ohm tank, because those devices deliver a large amount of vapour and liquid per puff. Around 6mg would take ten 10ml shots and a 300ml total, which most bottles cannot hold, so reaching it usually means pouring into a bigger bottle. Many shortfill users never go beyond the lower end of this range, and the physical size of the bottle limits the options anyway.

Device type changes the picture. Tight, restricted-draw devices that mimic the pull of a cigarette usually pair with higher strengths in the nicotine salt style, which is a different product from the freebase shots typically used with shortfills. Open, airy devices deliver more per puff, so lower strengths tend to feel right. If you are unsure which category your kit falls into, the manual or the retailer page will say.

If you want a ready-made, higher-strength liquid without any mixing, you are probably better off in our nicotine salt e-liquids range, which has 1,041 products in 10ml bottles. UK rules cap nicotine-containing e-liquid at 20mg per ml and 10ml per bottle, so those bottles are small by design, while the shortfill route trades convenience for volume.

Here is a rule that saves regret: change one thing at a time. If you add a shot and also switch coils and raise the wattage, you will not know which change made the vape feel different. And do not use strength to chase a feeling you can fix with technique. A harsh hit is often a wattage or airflow issue rather than a nicotine issue. None of this is medical advice, and anyone with a health concern should speak to a pharmacist or GP.

Matching it to a tank, coil and wattage

Not every device handles a bottle like this equally well, so a little matching goes a long way. The first question is the VG to PG ratio, which we cannot give you, so check the bottle. Liquids with more VG are thicker and are generally happier in low-resistance coils with wide wicking holes. Liquids with more PG are thinner and wick quickly in smaller, tighter coils. Since the label is the authority here, use it to decide between the two broad device families.

Sub-ohm tanks use coils below one ohm and are run at higher wattage, producing big, warm vapour with lots of flavour. Mouth-to-lung tanks and refillable pods use higher-resistance coils at modest power, with a tighter, cooler draw. Shortfills are very commonly used in the first group, but plenty of people run them in the second, so the format is not a rule. A thicker liquid in a tight coil can starve it, and that is the cause of most dry hits.

Whatever the device, begin at the low end of the wattage range printed on the coil. Strawberry and kiwi are fruity, light notes that can taste scorched if pushed hard. Raise the power in small steps until the flavour is full but not harsh.

Coils are the main running cost. Sweet, fruity liquids tend to build residue on the coil faster than unflavoured or lightly sweetened ones, which can shorten its life. Keep a spare on hand and swap when flavour dulls or the vapour turns bitter. Our replacement coils range covers 56 products across a spread of resistances and fittings, so match the code printed on your current coil rather than guessing.

If you do not yet own a device suited to this liquid, our vape kits collection is the place to start, and the listings show whether a kit is refillable or sealed. Choose carefully, because the sealed kind cannot take a bottle of liquid like this one at all.

Filling, priming and your first few puffs

Preparation takes five minutes and saves a lot of frustration. Start with a clean, dry tank or pod and a coil that has not been used. Turn the device off, and keep it off until the coil is ready.

  • Open the fill port. Different devices do this differently: some tanks have a top-fill slide, some a push-and-twist cap, and refillable pods usually have a rubber bung on the side.
  • Add the liquid. Tilt the bottle and fill slowly down the side of the tank wall, avoiding the central chimney tube. If liquid goes down that tube you will get leaks and gurgling.
  • Stop below the maximum. Leave a small gap at the top rather than filling right to the edge, because warm liquid expands slightly and an overfilled tank is a leaky one.
  • Prime the coil. Put a few drops straight onto the exposed wicking cotton if you can reach it, then let the device stand for five to ten minutes so the cotton soaks right through.
  • Take gentle first puffs. Start on low power, take a few short draws with pauses between them, then raise the wattage a little at a time.

That last step matters more than it looks. A dry coil that is fired too early can scorch the wick, and a burnt coil spoils the flavour of everything you put through it afterwards. Strawberry kiwi is a delicate profile that will show the damage quickly.

For a bottle this large, it helps to keep the fill routine consistent. Pour from the bottle's nozzle if it has a fine tip, and wipe any drips from the threads before closing the tank, otherwise liquid can seep into the airflow or your pocket. Keep the main bottle capped between refills so dust and air stay out. Many people decant a few days' worth into a small empty 10ml bottle for carrying and leave the big one at home, which keeps the original clean and reduces the chance of spills on the move.

Finally, clean the tank every so often. Rinse it with warm water, dry it fully, and refill. If you swap to a very different flavour, a rinse stops the previous liquid showing up as a ghost taste.

Storing the bottle and keeping flavour fresh

A 200ml bottle will probably be in your home for weeks or months, so how you store it matters more than it does for a 10ml bottle that you finish in a few days. The short version: cool, dark, upright and closed.

Heat and light are the enemies of e-liquid. Sunlight and warm spots, such as a windowsill, a car dashboard or the top of a radiator cupboard, can darken the liquid and dull its flavour over time. A cupboard or drawer at normal room temperature is ideal. A fridge is not necessary, and it makes the liquid thicker, which then takes longer to wick when you pour it in cold.

Keep the cap on tightly. Long contact with air oxidises the liquid and flattens fruity top notes first. Because you open a shortfill many times, wipe the neck and the nozzle each time and screw the cap down firmly. If you decant into a smaller bottle for daily use, keep the large one sealed and only open it for refills.

Colour change is normal and is not necessarily a sign of anything wrong. Liquids with fruit flavourings tend to darken gently with age, especially after nicotine has been added. If the smell or taste changes sharply, though, or the liquid turns cloudy or leaves unusual residue, treat that as a reason to stop and replace it. If a best-before date is printed on the label, follow it.

Safety is the other half of storage. Keep every bottle out of sight and reach of children and pets, whether it contains nicotine or not. Once you have mixed in shots, label it clearly with the strength and the date. Never store liquid in a drink bottle or anything that looks like food or drink. And keep the bottle away from naked flames and other heat sources.

Following these simple habits means the last pour from the bottle should taste much like the first. It is a small effort that protects your money, since a 200ml bottle that turns stale before you finish it undoes the saving.

Fixing dry hits, leaks and flat flavour

Most problems with a shortfill come down to five causes, and each has a quick fix. Go through them in order before deciding that the liquid or the device is faulty.

Dry or burnt taste. This is almost always a wicking problem. The coil is using liquid faster than the cotton can refill, or it was fired before it was soaked. Let the device rest for ten minutes, prime the coil with a few drops, lower the wattage, and take slower, longer draws with pauses between them. If the burnt taste stays after that, the coil is spent and needs replacing.

Gurgling and spitting. Excess liquid is reaching the airflow. Check the tank is not overfilled and that no liquid went down the central tube. Wipe the mouthpiece, and if it persists, check that the coil is screwed in fully.

Leaking. Look at the seals first. A worn or misaligned o-ring is the usual cause, followed by overfilling, followed by changing air pressure, which is why tanks sometimes leak on flights or at altitude. Keep the tank upright, fill below the maximum, and replace seals when they go flat.

Flat or weak flavour. Check the coil first, since old coils dull everything. Then check your wattage, because too high a setting can overpower the fruit. If you added nicotine, leave the bottle to rest for a day and shake it before using it. A tank that previously held a different flavour can also leave a ghost taste, so rinse it out.

Sweet sticky residue. Fruit and sweet liquids leave residue on the coil and around the tank threads. Clean the threads with a dry cloth, rinse the tank, and change the coil a little sooner than you would with a less sweet flavour.

If you have tried all of this and something still seems wrong with the bottle itself, do not keep using it. Contact the team with your order number and a description of the problem, and we will help. Keep the bottle and packaging, as faulty goods can be returned within 30 days. We cannot take back opened e-liquid that simply is not to your taste, so it is worth deciding on a small trial first.

Honest pros, cons and how ordering works

Here is the balanced picture, so you can decide without guesswork.

What works in its favour:

  • Very low cost per millilitre, about 5p, compared with small bottles.
  • One flat price of £9.99 across the whole Bang range, so there is no strength or size to decode.
  • Flexible: use it as supplied at 0mg or add nicotine shots yourself.
  • A fruit pairing that is light and refreshing rather than heavy or dessert-like.
  • One bottle covers weeks of use for most people.

What counts against it:

  • It needs a refillable device, so it is no use with disposables or sealed pods.
  • It contains no nicotine as supplied, and mixing is your responsibility.
  • We do not list the VG to PG ratio or the exact headroom, so you must read the label.
  • There is no cooling or ice element, in case you want one.
  • Opened bottles cannot be returned, for hygiene reasons.

On ordering, this is a 200ml bottle at £9.99 per bottle. Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and takes two to three working days. Under £20 it costs £2.99, and next-day delivery is £4.99 when you order before 4pm Monday to Friday. Note that two bottles come to £19.98, just under the free-delivery line, while three bottles clear it comfortably. There is no multibuy listed on Bang bottles, but the wider vape deals page shows current offers elsewhere in the shop that may help round up a basket.

Every order is age-checked, and we may ask for ID before dispatch if a check is inconclusive. Full terms are on our delivery and returns page. If you are weighing up flavours, the sibling bottles in the range are close alternatives, and the single price means you can switch without any cost difference.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Best value per ml in the category
  • Choose your own device and coil
  • Available in a wide strength ladder

Cons

  • Refilling can leak if you overfill
  • Coil priming has a small learning curve
  • You handle the bottle — less discreet than pods

Customer Buying Tips

  • Match the strength to how much you smoked: 20+/day → 10-20 mg nic salt; 10/day → 10 mg; under 5/day → 3-6 mg freebase.
  • Match the ratio to your device: pod kits take 50/50, sub-ohm tanks take 70/30 shortfill.
  • Don't overfill: leaving the airhole clear prevents gurgling and leaking.
  • Shake before use so the nicotine and flavour integrate evenly.

Frequently asked questions

Does Bang 200ml Strawberry Kiwi contain nicotine?

No. The bottle is sold at 0mg, which means it contains no nicotine as supplied. It is a shortfill, the trade term for a large bottle of nicotine-free e-liquid. If you want nicotine, you can add separate nicotine shots yourself, or choose a nicotine salt e-liquid in a 10ml bottle instead. Either way, our shop sells to adults aged 18 or over only, and every order is age-checked.

How big is the bottle and what does it cost?

The product is a 200ml shortfill priced at £9.99, which works out at roughly 5p per millilitre. All 27 Bang products on the site share the same size, strength and price. The exact fill volume inside the bottle and the headroom for nicotine shots are printed on the label, so check it when the bottle arrives, especially if you plan to add nicotine.

What does Strawberry Kiwi taste like?

It pairs sweet, rounded strawberry with the tart, slightly green edge of kiwi, so it tends to taste bright and juicy rather than creamy. There is no menthol or ice element on the listing. Taste is personal, and wattage, coil age and any added nicotine shot all shift how it comes across. For a plainer sweet profile, try the standard Strawberry bottle in the Bang range.

Can I use it in a disposable vape or a pre-filled pod?

No. Disposables and pre-filled pod systems are sealed, and you cannot add bottled liquid to them. This bottle is made for refillable devices, meaning tank kits and refillable pods with a fill port. Check that your device has a fill port before you buy. If you would rather have something ready to use straight away, disposable vapes need no setup at all.

How do I add nicotine to the bottle?

Use nicotine shots, usually 10ml at 18mg per ml, and make sure the bottle has room for them. Four 10ml shots at 18mg in 200ml give about 3mg per ml in 240ml. Cap the bottle, shake it well and let it rest for a day. Add shots one at a time if you are unsure, because nicotine cannot be taken back out once it is in. Always read the shot label for its strength and volume.

How long will a 200ml bottle last?

It depends on how much you vape. At around 2ml a day it should last about 100 days, at 5ml a day about 40 days, and at 10ml a day about 20 days. These are illustrative figures only. Adding nicotine shots increases the total volume slightly, which stretches the bottle a little further, but the real figure depends on your device, wattage and habits.

What is the VG to PG ratio?

We do not list the ratio on the product page, and we would rather say so than guess. It is printed on the bottle label. The ratio affects how well the liquid suits your device: thicker, higher-VG liquids generally prefer low-resistance coils, while thinner, higher-PG ones suit tighter pods and mouth-to-lung tanks. If you are unsure, ask us through the contact page before you order.

How much is delivery for a single bottle?

A single bottle at £9.99 is under the free-delivery threshold, so standard UK delivery costs £2.99 and takes two to three working days. Orders over £20 qualify for free standard delivery. Next-day delivery is £4.99 when you order before 4pm Monday to Friday. Two bottles come to £19.98, just under the threshold, and three bottles are comfortably over it.

Can I return an opened bottle?

For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns on opened e-liquids. If the bottle is faulty, you can return it within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Contact us to start the process and keep the bottle and packaging. Because opened bottles cannot go back, it is worth checking that your device is refillable before you order.
