Double Brew Nic Salts: What This Collection Holds
This page covers every Double product we stock at VapeShopOnline, and in practice that means one range: Double Brew Nic Salts. The collection holds 37 products, every one of them a 10ml bottle at 20mg, and every one listed at the same entry-level price of £1.10. There are no devices here, no pods and no disposables. It is a flavour shelf, and its whole purpose is to give adults who already use a refillable pod system a wide choice of liquids at a price that barely registers on a monthly budget.
The flavour list is broad for a single-price, single-strength range. Across the 37 bottles you will find ice, mixed berries, cherry, apple, strawberry, lemon, raspberry, cola, lemonade, blueberry, lime, mixed fruit, kiwi, watermelon and banana, sometimes on their own and more often layered together. Named examples include Apple & Rhubarb, Apple Muffin, Banana Ice (New), Blackcurrant Blackberry & Apple, Blue Razz Lemonade, Blue Slush Ice, Blueberry Raspberry & Cherry, Candy Cherry Ice and Caramel Frappe. Every one is sold as a Double Brew Nic Salts 10ml 20mg bottle, so the product titles are long but the format never changes.
A quick note on the name, because it trips people up. In this collection, 'Double' means Double Brew. It does not mean a double-coil device, a dual-flavour disposable or a two-pod kit, and it is not the same brand as Double Drip, which has its own separate shelf with its own products. If you arrived here looking for any of those, the comparison section further down explains how to tell them apart.
These are nicotine products, sold strictly to adults aged 18+, and they are intended for adult smokers and existing vapers rather than anyone who has never used nicotine. What follows covers how the range fits into the UK market, how the flavour families behave, what a 20mg-only shelf means for you, which hardware suits these bottles, how Double Brew compares with other nic salt ranges, how far a pound-a-bottle liquid really goes, the UK legal framework, and the practical side of storage, recycling, delivery and returns.
Where Double Brew Fits in the UK Market
We list Double Brew as a bottled nic salt line, sold in the 10ml size that UK law sets as the ceiling for any container of nicotine-containing e-liquid. We are not going to dress that up with a brand origin story we cannot verify. What we can tell you is what the range does in practice, because that is what matters when you are deciding whether to put it in your basket: it is a large, low-priced, single-strength catalogue of fruit-led and ice-led flavours aimed squarely at the refillable pod crowd.
The timing explains a lot. Since the single-use vape ban took effect in June 2025, the sealed throwaway bar has disappeared from legal UK retail, and adults who relied on them have moved to one of two replacements: rechargeable big-puff devices with replaceable pods, or small refillable pod systems fed from a bottle. Bottles are the cheaper route by a wide margin, and nic salts at 20mg are the closest match to the nicotine delivery most disposables used, because 20mg was the strongest legal option in a disposable too. A range like Double Brew exists to serve exactly that switch.
Budget nic salt ranges generally follow a pattern. They keep the packaging simple, they run one or two strengths rather than five, and they put the money into flavour variety rather than marketing. Double Brew follows that pattern closely: one strength, one size, one price, and a long flavour list. That is a different proposition from a premium-priced branded range tied to a famous disposable name, where you pay extra for the label and typically get fewer flavours.
It also helps to be realistic about what a low price means. A £1.10 bottle is not trying to replicate a hand-crafted artisan liquid with complex layered notes. It is trying to deliver a recognisable, dependable flavour at a price where you can afford to buy five or six different bottles and rotate between them. Judged on those terms, which are the terms it sets for itself, it is a sensible shelf to browse.
The Flavour Families: What the Product Names Tell You
With 37 bottles in a single collection, the sensible way to shop is by family rather than scrolling every product in order. The names in this range sort naturally into five groups, and knowing which group you lean towards narrows the list quickly.
- Berry and mixed fruit blends. The biggest family. Blueberry Raspberry & Cherry, Blackcurrant Blackberry & Apple and Blueberry Sour Raspberry / Blueberry Raspberry are typical, and the facts on the shelf back this up: mixed berries, mixed fruit, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and cherry all feature. These are the profiles most ex-disposable vapers recognise first.
- Ice and slush flavours. Banana Ice (New), Blue Slush Ice and Candy Cherry Ice carry a cooling element on top of the fruit. Ice is the single most common flavour tag across the collection, so if you like a chilled finish you will have plenty to choose from.
- Drinks-led flavours. Blue Razz Lemonade sits alongside cola and lemonade in the flavour list. These tend to read as sweet and slightly tart rather than creamy, and they pair well with the citrus end of the shelf, lemon and lime.
- Dessert and bakery. Apple Muffin and Caramel Frappe are the two named examples. They are the softer, warmer end of the range and the natural choice if fruit-and-ice profiles feel too sharp for all-day use.
- Orchard and tropical singles. Apple, kiwi, watermelon, banana and lime show up as the lead note in several bottles, and Apple & Rhubarb brings a gently tart orchard profile that stands apart from the berry-heavy majority.
A practical way to use this: choose one flavour from your preferred family, one from the neighbouring family and one wildcard. At this price, the cost of being wrong about a flavour is about the price of a pack of chewing gum, so it is worth experimenting.
One more point on names. A tag such as (New) in a product title, as in Banana Ice (New), signals an updated version of that flavour. If you have used an earlier batch of the same name, do not be surprised if the new one tastes a little different. Flavour names across all e-liquid ranges are descriptive rather than precise, and taste is personal, so treat any description, including ours, as a starting point rather than a promise.
Ice, Sour and Sweet: Reading Flavour Names Properly
Most disappointment with e-liquid comes from misreading a modifier word. The same fruit can taste very different depending on whether the name includes ice, slush, sour, razz or a dessert term, so it is worth knowing what each one usually signals.
Ice means a cooling agent has been added to the flavour. It does not mean the liquid is cold, and it does not necessarily mean menthol in the traditional sense. The cooling sits on the throat and on the exhale, and it can be mild or pronounced depending on the recipe. In the Double Brew range, ice appears so often that it is worth treating as a core category. If you are new to cooling flavours, start with a fruit-plus-ice bottle such as Candy Cherry Ice before moving to a heavier combination.
Slush adds a different idea. Blue Slush Ice combines the cooling effect with a frozen-drink character, which usually means a blue raspberry style fruit note with a sweet, syrupy edge. If you enjoy blue raspberry on its own, the slush profile is a natural next step.
Sour is the opposite of mellow. Blueberry Sour Raspberry brings a tart edge to a sweet base, and sour profiles can be lively enough that some vapers prefer them only as a rotation flavour rather than an all-day choice. If you have a sensitive palate, begin with a non-sour berry blend and add sour later.
Razz is shorthand for raspberry, usually in the sweet, candy-leaning sense rather than the fresh-fruit sense. Blue Razz Lemonade combines that candy raspberry with a lemonade backbone, which tends to give a sweet-and-sharp contrast.
Muffin, frappe and other dessert terms point to a rounded, creamy or baked character. They usually have less top-note sparkle than fruit-and-ice blends and more body. They are often the flavours people reach for in the evening, or when they want something that does not compete with food or a hot drink.
Finally, remember that flavour perception depends on the device as well as the liquid. Cooling agents and sour notes are noticeably stronger in a tight, low-airflow pod than in a looser, more open draw. If a flavour seems too intense, the hardware may be part of the reason, and opening up the airflow often helps.
20mg Only: Who This Strength Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere
Every product in this collection is 20mg. That is the maximum nicotine strength UK law allows in e-liquid, equal to 2% by volume, and it is the strength these bottles are sold at without alternatives. There is no 10mg or 5mg option inside the Double Brew range, so the first decision is whether 20mg is right for you at all.
Nic salts behave differently from traditional freebase liquid. They use a form of nicotine that is generally perceived as smoother at higher strengths, which is why 20mg nic salt can feel considerably gentler on the throat than 20mg freebase would. That smoothness is the reason nic salts became the standard for small pod devices and for disposables, which were almost universally 20mg.
Who 20mg suits. The most obvious group is adults coming off disposables who are used to that level and want to keep the same nicotine delivery while saving money. It also suits adult smokers who are switching and find lower strengths do not satisfy, and moderate to heavy vapers who go through a pod quickly. Because nic salts are designed for low-power use, 20mg works well in small pod systems running at modest wattage.
Who should look elsewhere. If you currently vape at 3mg, 6mg or 12mg freebase in a larger tank, jumping to 20mg nic salt is a big step up and will likely feel harsh. If you are a very light user, 20mg may be more than you need, and a 10mg nic salt would be a better fit. And if you have never used nicotine, you should not start. Nicotine is addictive, and these products are for adults who already use it.
If you find 20mg too strong after trying a bottle, the right response is to move to a lower-strength nic salt from another range rather than trying to dilute this one yourself. Home-mixing changes the flavour balance and the nicotine level unpredictably, and it is easy to get wrong. Our wider nicotine salt shelf includes 10mg options in many flavours for exactly this situation.
A sensible habit regardless of strength: take it slowly. Nic salts deliver nicotine efficiently, so a few puffs are often enough. If you find yourself feeling light-headed or nauseous, put the device down and wait before continuing, and consider a lower strength next time.
Device Compatibility: Matching These Bottles to Your Pod System
Double Brew bottles are liquid only, so they need a device that accepts a refill. The key distinction is between refillable pods or tanks, which have a fill port and which these bottles suit, and closed prefilled pods, which are sealed and cannot be topped up. Check your device manual before buying. If you cannot see a fill port, it is almost certainly a closed system, and trying to force liquid into it will damage the pod and void any warranty.
Nic salts are formulated for low-power, mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-lung devices. The typical match is a small pod kit or a compact refillable tank with a coil in roughly the 0.6 to 1.2 ohm range, running at modest wattage. Pairing a 20mg nic salt with a high-wattage sub-ohm tank is a mistake: the vapour production is far greater, so each puff delivers much more nicotine than the strength implies, and the result is harsh and wasteful. If your current device is a sub-ohm mod, use a lower-strength shortfill rather than these bottles.
The legal tank limit in the UK is 2ml, so most refillable pods hold close to that. A 10ml bottle therefore fills a typical pod about five times. A few practical points make filling cleaner:
- Remove the pod from the device before filling, and keep the fill port facing upwards.
- Fill slowly down the side of the wall rather than straight onto the coil inlet, to limit flooding.
- Stop before the pod is completely full. A small air gap helps prevent leaks and gurgling.
- Wait five to ten minutes before the first puff so the coil wicks properly. Taking a dry hit on a fresh coil burns the cotton and ruins the taste.
- Wipe any spilt liquid from the pod and the contacts before reinserting it.
On liquid composition, check the label for the exact PG and VG ratio, since it varies between ranges and we do not want to quote a figure that you may not find on the bottle you receive. Liquids with a higher proportion of PG are thinner and suit small pod coils, while higher VG liquids are thicker and are better in larger tanks. As a rule, nic salts at this strength are designed to be thin enough for pod systems.
If you are unsure about compatibility, ask before you buy. A quick message with your device name gets a straight answer, and it is cheaper than wasting a coil on an unsuitable liquid.
How Double Brew Compares With Other Budget Nic Salt Ranges
A comparison is only useful if it compares like with like, so here are the realistic alternatives on the same shelf, described in general terms.
Double Brew versus Bar Series. Bar Series is a compact range built to carry popular bar flavours into bottle form, with confectionery profiles such as cotton candy and gummy bear forming a large part of its identity. It is priced higher per bottle than Double Brew and offers far fewer flavours. If you want a tight edit of familiar bar tastes, Bar Series makes sense. If you want volume and variety at the lowest price, Double Brew is the broader choice.
Double Brew versus Aqua. Aqua leans hard into sour and fizzy profiles. Double Brew has some sour and sweet-and-sharp bottles, but its centre of gravity is fruit and ice with a few dessert and drink options. They are complementary rather than competing, and many vapers keep one of each in rotation.
Double Brew versus premium disposable-linked ranges. Some well-known disposable brands have launched nic salt bottles under the same name. You pay for the brand, you typically get a shorter flavour list, and the quality gap in the liquid is smaller than the price gap suggests. If you specifically want a flavour you remember from a named disposable, a branded bottle is worth the extra. If you want reliable fruit and ice at the lowest sensible cost, Double Brew competes well.
Double Brew versus Double Drip. This is the comparison people most often get wrong. Double Drip is a separate brand with its own collection, and it is known for different product formats, including shortfill-style liquids and devices. The similar name is a coincidence of branding. Double Brew is the 10ml, 20mg nic salt range described on this page. Always check the full product title, which here always includes Double Brew Nic Salts 10ml 20mg, so you know exactly what you are ordering.
Overall, Double Brew's selling points are breadth, a single predictable strength and a price that makes experimentation low-risk. Its limitations are equally clear: only one strength, no branded cachet, and a flavour approach that favours the familiar over the unusual. Know both sides and you will buy sensibly.
Honest Value: What a Pound-a-Bottle Range Costs You in Practice
At £1.10 for 10ml, the cost works out at 11p per millilitre. That is entry-level pricing, and it is worth putting in context rather than just celebrating the low number.
A typical refillable pod holds about 2ml, so one bottle fills about five pods. How long five pods lasts depends entirely on your usage. A light user who vapes occasionally might get two to three days from a pod, which stretches a bottle to ten days or more. A heavy user could finish a pod in a day, which means a bottle lasts around five days. Even in the heavy case, weekly liquid cost stays at a level that is a small fraction of what most adults spend on cigarettes. In the light case, it is close to negligible.
There are a few honest caveats. First, liquid is only part of the cost. Coils wear out and need replacing, typically every one to two weeks depending on how sweet your liquids are and how hard you vape. Sweet, dessert-style flavours tend to shorten coil life because sweeteners in the liquid can build up on the coil over time. Second, a very low price does not mean every bottle will suit you. Budget ranges are built for broad appeal, so subtle or unusual flavours are rarer. You may find one or two bottles you love, a few you like and a couple you would not buy again, which is normal.
A practical tip on delivery: free UK delivery applies on orders over £20. Because each bottle is just over a pound, nineteen bottles take you past that threshold, which is more than most people need in one go. A smarter route is to combine a handful of Double Brew bottles with something you need anyway, such as a pack of replacement coils or a new pod, to reach the free-delivery level without overbuying liquid you may not finish.
Finally, think about shelf life. E-liquid keeps well when stored properly, but there is no benefit in stockpiling dozens of bottles of flavours you have not tried. Buy a small rotation, find what works, then reorder. With next-day dispatch on orders placed before 4pm, running out is easy to fix, so there is no need to hoard.
UK Rules, Labelling and Spotting Genuine Stock
UK e-liquid sales are governed by the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations, usually shortened to TPD. For this collection, the rules that matter are straightforward. Nicotine strength cannot exceed 20mg per millilitre, which is exactly where Double Brew sits. Bottles of nicotine-containing e-liquid cannot exceed 10ml, which is the size of every product here. Refillable tanks and pods are capped at 2ml. Products must carry the required health warning about nicotine, an ingredient list, the nicotine strength and contact details for the responsible company, and bottles must have a child-resistant, tamper-evident closure. Sales are restricted to adults aged 18 and over.
The single-use ban that came into force in June 2025 does not affect e-liquid bottles. It applies to sealed disposable devices. Refillable pods, rechargeable kits and bottled liquid all remain legal, and that is precisely why bottled nic salts have become more popular.
On authenticity, counterfeit risk is lower with e-liquid than with devices, but it is not zero, and it is worth knowing what to check:
- Labelling. A genuine bottle carries a clear, legible label with the product name, strength, volume, ingredients, warning and batch information. Blurry print, spelling mistakes and mismatched fonts are red flags.
- Closure. The cap should be child-resistant and the tamper-evident ring should be intact when you receive it. A loose or already-broken ring means the bottle may have been opened.
- Consistency. The strength and size on the label should match what you ordered. A bottle that says 10ml 20mg should not look different from another of the same range.
- Seller. Buy from an established UK retailer that verifies age, shows contact details and gives clear delivery and returns terms. Marketplace sellers with no trading history carry more risk.
One point on price. With a budget range, a low price alone is not a reliable sign of a fake, because the whole point of the range is that it is cheap. Judge authenticity by labelling, packaging and seller, not by the price tag.
We stand behind our 100% genuine stock policy on every product we sell. If anything arrives that looks wrong, contact us before using it.
Storage, Care, Recycling, Delivery and Returns
Storage. Keep bottles upright with the cap fully closed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Light and warmth degrade flavour and nicotine over time. Keep them well out of reach of children and pets, and never decant liquid into unlabelled containers. Nic salts do not usually need the long steeping period that some freebase liquids do, but letting a freshly filled pod rest for five to ten minutes helps the coil wick properly.
Switching flavours. If you move from a strongly flavoured liquid to a delicate one, residue in the pod can ghost into the new flavour. Empty the pod, rinse it with warm water, dry it thoroughly and refill. Replace the coil if the flavour has already faded, since a worn coil muddies everything you put through it.
Coil care. Replace the coil when the flavour weakens, the vapour thins or you notice a burnt taste. Do not try to extend a coil beyond its life by turning the power up, as it only accelerates the burn.
Recycling. Never put vape devices, pods with coils or batteries in household rubbish or normal recycling bins, because lithium batteries can start fires in collection lorries and sorting plants. Under UK waste electrical rules, retailers that sell vapes are expected to take back used devices, and household waste recycling centres typically have a small-electricals or vape recycling drop-off. Empty plastic e-liquid bottles are handled differently from devices, so follow your local council guidance for plastic bottles, and make sure bottles are fully empty before they go in.
Delivery. Orders over £20 qualify for free UK delivery, and orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the next day. Age verification applies to every order, because these are age-restricted products.
Warranty and returns. E-liquid does not carry a manufacturer warranty in the way a device does, so the protection that applies is UK consumer law, which covers items that are faulty, damaged or not as described. If a bottle arrives leaking, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us with your order number and a clear photo, and we will put it right. For safety and hygiene reasons, opened or used liquid cannot normally be returned. If you are unsure, check the returns page before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Who should buy Double Brew nic salts?
Double Brew suits adults who already use nicotine and run a refillable pod system, especially people moving from disposables who want the same 20mg strength at a much lower cost. It is not suitable for anyone who has never used nicotine, and it is sold strictly to adults aged 18+.
What nicotine strengths are available in this collection?
Every one of the 37 products is 20mg, which is the maximum strength allowed in UK e-liquid. There is no lower strength within the Double Brew range, so if 20mg feels too strong you should choose a 10mg nic salt from another range instead of diluting these bottles yourself.
Will these bottles fit my pod or device?
They fit any refillable pod or small tank with a fill port, and they work well in low-power devices with coils of roughly 0.6 to 1.2 ohm. They will not work in closed prefilled pods or sealed disposables, and they are not intended for high-wattage sub-ohm tanks.
Is Double Brew the same as Double Drip?
No. Double Brew is the 10ml, 20mg nic salt range on this page, while Double Drip is a separate brand with its own collection and its own product formats. Check the full product title, which always includes Double Brew Nic Salts 10ml 20mg, before ordering.
How long does a 10ml bottle last?
A typical refillable pod holds about 2ml, so a 10ml bottle fills it roughly five times. Depending on how much you vape, that can mean anything from about five days for heavy use to ten days or more for lighter use.
How can I tell if a bottle is genuine?
Check for a clear, legible label showing the product name, strength, volume, ingredients, nicotine warning and batch details, and make sure the child-resistant cap has an intact tamper-evident ring. Buying from an established UK retailer that verifies age and shows clear contact details is the most reliable safeguard.
Is there a warranty on e-liquid?
E-liquid does not usually come with a manufacturer warranty, but UK consumer law still covers items that arrive faulty, damaged or not as described. If something is wrong, contact us with your order number and a photo and we will resolve it.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the next day, and delivery is free in the UK on orders over £20. Age verification applies to every order because these are age-restricted products.
What should I do with empty bottles and old pods?
Do not put pods with coils, devices or batteries in household bins. Take them to a vape or small-electricals recycling drop-off at a household recycling centre or return them to a retailer that offers take-back, and follow your local council guidance for empty plastic bottles.
Do I need to let the liquid steep before using it?
Nic salts generally do not need a long steep. After filling a pod, wait five to ten minutes so the coil can wick properly before your first puff, which prevents dry hits and keeps the flavour clean.
