Bar Series Cherry Fizz 100ml at a Glance

Bar Series 100ml Shortfill E-Liquid Cherry Fizz is a cherry-flavoured, nicotine-free vape juice that costs £11.99 for a bottle holding 100ml of liquid. The listing gives us four firm facts: the brand is Bar Series, the format is shortfill, the strength is 0mg and the flavour is Cherry Fizz. Everything else on this page is either category knowledge that applies to every shortfill, or practical advice drawn from how bottles like this behave in a tank, and we have tried to keep the two apart so that nothing is credited to the product that the listing does not support.

You will find it among our shortfill e-liquids, the range where the big 100ml bottles live. A shortfill is a large bottle of flavoured liquid supplied without nicotine, in a container with spare headroom so that an adult who already uses nicotine can add shots later. Leave the shots out and you vape it at 0mg, exactly as it arrives.

Bar Series is a name most UK vapers recognise from disposable-style fruit and ice flavours. The 100ml line takes the same sweet, fruit-led approach and puts it in a bottle you pour into your own tank or refillable pod. The wider family, including nicotine salt bottles and higher-puff products, sits together on the Bar Series brand page.

The sections below cover the questions a buyer usually has before ordering:

  • how a shortfill bottle works, and why it is bigger than the liquid inside;
  • what to expect from a cherry flavour with a fizzy edge;
  • the cost per millilitre and how long 100ml tends to last;
  • how nicotine shots change the strength, with the sums shown;
  • which devices suit it, plus storage, troubleshooting and delivery.

Everything we sell is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. If you do not already use nicotine, there is no reason to start.

How a 100ml Shortfill Bottle Works

The bottle is larger than the liquid it holds, and that is deliberate. A 100ml shortfill is normally supplied in a 120ml container, which leaves roughly 20ml of empty space at the top. The gap exists for one reason: it gives you room to add two 10ml nicotine shots, should you want a nicotine strength, without the bottle overflowing.

The format exists because of UK regulation. Under the Tobacco Products Directive rules carried into British law, e-liquid that contains nicotine may only be sold in bottles of 10ml or less, and the strength is capped at 20mg per millilitre. Liquid with no nicotine in it falls outside that bottle limit, which is why a 0mg flavour can legally come in 100ml. Shots are sold separately as 10ml bottles, and you combine them with the shortfill yourself.

For Cherry Fizz, the practical result is simple. As supplied, you have 100ml of flavoured, nicotine-free liquid. Do nothing else and you can pour it straight into a compatible tank and vape it. If you are an adult who wants some nicotine, you add shots, shake the bottle and let it settle before use. The flavour recipe does not change either way, although the shots dilute it slightly because they add volume.

That dilution point matters more than people expect. Two shots take 100ml up to 120ml, so the flavour is about one sixth weaker than it is in the unmixed bottle. In a sub-ohm tank, where flavour is generous, most people never notice. If you are the sort who likes the fruit turned up, using fewer shots, or none, keeps the cherry brighter.

Every shortfill, whatever the brand, follows this same pattern, so what you learn here carries over to any other 100ml bottle you buy later. Because the liquid contains no nicotine as sold, handling it is no different from any other flavoured e-liquid: keep the cap on, keep the bottle upright and keep it away from children and pets. A narrow nozzle on the neck is common and makes filling small tank openings far less messy, but check that yours fits before you pour.

The Cherry Fizz Flavour Profile

Cherry flavours come in several distinct styles, and the word fizz tells you which one this bottle is aiming for. Rather than the dark, almond-edged taste of fresh stone fruit, Cherry Fizz points towards a bright, sweet cherry with a sparkle on top, in the manner of a cherry sherbet or a fizzy cherry sweet.

We should be straightforward about what we know. The listing carries a single flavour tag, cherry, and gives little beyond the name. Our catalogue also lists Bar Series Cherry Fizz in its nicotine salt format, tagged cherry and sherbet, which suggests the same flavour idea: cherry up front with a sherbet-style tingle. We cannot promise the 100ml recipe is identical to the nic salt one, so treat that as a pointer rather than a guarantee.

In use, here is the kind of experience to expect. On the inhale, a sweet, candy-style cherry rather than a sour one. On the exhale, the sweetness lingers and a slightly sharper, sherbet-like note tends to follow in flavours of this type. Cherry is a forceful aroma, so even a modest dose in a recipe is usually obvious from the first puff, and it tends to stay noticeable even at the 0mg end of the scale.

Two things are missing from the name. There is no ice or menthol, so do not expect a cooling hit, and there is no second fruit, so this is a single-note cherry rather than a blend. If you want a cooler finish, the Bar Series 100ml range includes flavours with ice in the name, such as Cola Ice, and the brand page shows what is in stock.

Flavour is never fixed by the liquid alone. Power setting, coil type and airflow all change how a cherry liquid comes across. Lower wattage keeps the fruit rounded and sweet; push the power too far and the fizzy edge can turn sharp while the sweetness begins to taste scorched. Start low, work up in small steps and stop as soon as the flavour peaks, because past that point you are only burning liquid faster.

Who This Bottle Suits and Who Should Skip It

Think about how much liquid you get through in a week before buying anything this size. A 100ml bottle makes sense for someone who refills a tank or refillable pod regularly and would rather buy once than reorder small bottles every few days.

It tends to suit:

  • adults who already vape and enjoy sweet fruit flavours;
  • people with a sub-ohm kit who use several millilitres a day;
  • vapers who stay at 0mg, since there is nothing to mix;
  • adult nicotine users who like choosing their own strength through shots;
  • anyone moving on from a disposable vape who wants a similar sweet style at a lower price per millilitre by switching to a refillable device.

It is a poorer fit for other people. Anyone who has never used nicotine should not start, and this page is not an invitation to. If your device is a sealed prefilled pod system or a disposable, it cannot be refilled, so a shortfill is no use to you. If you want a ready-to-vape nicotine strength without any mixing, a 10ml nic salt bottle is simpler. And if you dislike sweet flavours, or want a cooling finish, a plain cherry with a sherbet lift may not be what you are after.

There is also the question of commitment. One hundred millilitres of a single flavour is a lot to get through if your tastes change quickly. People who like to rotate between four or five flavours in a month sometimes find a big bottle sits half used while they reach for something else. If that sounds like you, a smaller bottle is the cautious way to find out whether cherry with fizz is your thing.

First-time refillable users should expect a small learning curve. Filling a tank, priming a coil and mixing shots are all easy once you have done them twice, and we walk through each step further down this page.

Price, Cost per Millilitre and Running Costs

The arithmetic is short. At £11.99 for 100ml, Cherry Fizz works out at 11.99p per millilitre, a shade under 12p. Nicotine shots, if you choose to add them, are bought separately and cost extra.

To put that in context, our 5 for £10 e-liquids come to £2 per 10ml bottle, or 20p per millilitre. Ten of those bottles cost £20, so the same quantity of liquid in small bottles would set you back £8.01 more than this single shortfill. The small bottles contain nicotine and are ready to vape, so you are partly paying for convenience, but over a month or two the gap adds up. The nicotine salt version of Cherry Fizz is listed at £2.95 for 10ml, which is 29.5p per millilitre. That is a different product for a different style of device, not a like-for-like comparison, but it shows how much bottle size drives the price.

How long a bottle lasts depends entirely on how you vape. As a rough guide for 100ml:

  • at 2ml a day, about 50 days, which is roughly 24p a day;
  • at 3ml a day, about 33 days, roughly 36p a day;
  • at 5ml a day, about 20 days, roughly 60p a day.

Small mouth-to-lung pods sip liquid, while big sub-ohm tanks gulp it, so the same bottle can last a month and a half for one person and under three weeks for another.

Other Bar Series 100ml flavours in the shop, such as Apple Peach and Cola Ice, are listed at £12.95 with a 2 for £20 multibuy. This Cherry Fizz listing shows no multibuy at the time of writing, so check the product page for the current price. Every active offer across the store is gathered on the vape deals page, which is worth a look if you are also adding coils or a second bottle to the basket.

Adding Nicotine Shots: Strengths and Sums

Nicotine shots are optional, and for many adults who buy Cherry Fizz they will be unnecessary. This section is only for adults who already use nicotine and want to set their own strength. If you do not use nicotine, leave the bottle at 0mg. Nicotine is addictive.

A shot is a 10ml bottle of nicotine liquid, most commonly sold at 18mg per millilitre, though you should always check the label of the shot you buy. Add it to the 100ml shortfill and the nicotine spreads through the whole volume. Using 18mg shots, the sums look like this:

  • No shots: 100ml at 0mg.
  • One shot: 180mg of nicotine in 110ml, about 1.6mg per millilitre.
  • Two shots: 360mg in 120ml, exactly 3mg per millilitre, which is the most a standard 120ml bottle can take.

Three shots would give about 4mg per millilitre in 130ml, but that is more liquid than the bottle holds, so you would need to pour some out or move everything to a bigger container. Most people stop at one or two.

Strength choice follows the device. Open sub-ohm tanks, which deliver a lot of vapour, are usually paired with low strengths such as 0mg to 3mg, and going higher in a big tank can feel harsh. Tighter, mouth-to-lung devices generally use stronger liquid, which is why nic salt bottles at 10mg and 20mg are the usual choice for small pod kits. If your device is a compact pod, a bottle mixed from shots may be a less natural fit than a ready-made nicotine salt e-liquid.

After adding shots, put the cap on tightly and shake for around thirty seconds, then leave the bottle to rest. Label it with the strength and the date, particularly in a household with more than one vaper, because an unmarked bottle is an easy mistake to make. Never add more shots than the bottle can hold, and keep unopened shots out of reach of children and pets.

Filling the Tank Step by Step

Before you open anything, wash your hands and clear a space, because e-liquid sticks to everything it touches. Work over a tissue or tray and keep the bottle upright whenever you are not pouring.

If you are adding nicotine shots, do that first. Unscrew the cap of the shortfill, open each shot and squeeze or pour it in, then replace the cap firmly, shake for about thirty seconds and set the bottle aside to rest. If you are staying at 0mg, skip straight to the tank.

Switch the device off or remove the tank. Open the tank following the maker's instructions, because designs differ: some unscrew at the top, some slide, and some fill through a side port. Hold the tank upright, rest the bottle's nozzle against the inside wall and fill slowly, keeping well clear of the central chimney so liquid does not run down into the coil. Stop below the maximum line. Tanks need an air gap, and an overfilled one is the commonest cause of leaks.

Refit the top, stand the tank upright and wait. This is the step people skip. A fresh coil is dry cotton, and until it has soaked up liquid the first puffs can burn it. Five to ten minutes is a sensible minimum. With a brand new coil, a few drops placed directly onto the cotton through the wicking holes before assembly will speed things up.

When you are ready, set the power at the low end of the range printed on the coil, take a couple of gentle puffs without holding the button down for long, and build up gradually. A cherry liquid with sweetness and a fizzy edge shows its character at moderate power. Wipe the threads and the outside of the tank before you put the pieces together, tighten the bottle cap and put the bottle somewhere cool.

Devices, Coils and Pods That Pair Well

Almost any refillable device can take a shortfill, but not every one suits it equally. The dividing line is simple: if you can open it and pour liquid in, it will work. If it is sealed, it will not. That rules out disposables and closed or prefilled pod systems, which are designed to be thrown away or to take only their own cartridges.

The most natural home for a 100ml bottle is a sub-ohm tank, the kind supplied in many of our vape kits. These tanks hold more liquid, produce more vapour and handle sweet fruit flavours well, which suits a generous bottle like this. Refillable pod devices are the second option, and our refillable vape pods give you cartridges you fill from the bottle. Pods are smaller and use less liquid per day, so a bottle lasts longer, but they work best with thinner liquid.

That brings us to a detail the listing does not state: the VG to PG ratio. Look at the label on your bottle for it. As a general rule, liquid with a high proportion of VG is thicker and happiest in a sub-ohm coil with large wicking holes, while pods and tighter mouth-to-lung coils usually prefer something thinner. If your pod maker recommends a range, follow it. Putting very thick liquid in a small pod coil is a reliable way to get a dry, burnt taste.

Coils matter just as much as the tank. Sub-ohm coils, rated below 1 ohm, give big clouds and strong flavour, while mouth-to-lung coils at 1 ohm and above give a tighter draw. Sweet liquids, cherry included, leave more residue on the cotton, so a coil may last a week or two rather than a month. Keep a spare to hand, and browse the replacement coils that match your tank before your current one gives out. Buying the correct coil series for your exact tank is more important than any other single choice you make.

Storage, Mixing Rest Time and Shelf Life

Heat, light and air are the three things that age e-liquid, and storage is mostly about keeping all of them away from the bottle.

Keep Cherry Fizz in a cool, dark place, upright, with the cap fully tightened. A cupboard or drawer works better than a windowsill, a bathroom shelf or a car glovebox. Sunlight and warmth make the liquid darken over time and can dull fruit flavours, and repeated heating and cooling also encourage leaks around the neck of the bottle.

Check the best-before date printed on the bottle. Unopened, shortfills commonly stay in good condition for a year or more when stored sensibly, but the printed date is the one to follow. Once opened, treat the bottle as something to use within a few months for the best flavour, and sooner if it has been mixed with nicotine shots, since nicotine liquid can darken noticeably over weeks. A shift to an amber tint is normal and does not necessarily mean the liquid has gone off; a sour or unpleasant smell does.

Shortfills do not need the long steeping that some homemade mixes do, but a rest after adding shots helps. A few hours is fine and overnight is better, with a shake now and again. Unmixed 0mg liquid is ready to vape straight from the bottle.

A few habits make a real difference:

  • wipe the nozzle after every fill so residue does not crust the cap;
  • never decant into an unlabelled container;
  • keep nicotine shots and mixed bottles away from children and pets;
  • store a half-empty bottle as carefully as a full one, because the extra air inside speeds up ageing.

If you buy more than one bottle, rotate your stock so the oldest gets used first.

Troubleshooting Weak Flavour, Leaks and Gurgling

Most problems with a new shortfill come down to the tank rather than the liquid. Work through the symptoms in this order.

  • Weak or muted flavour. The usual suspects are an old coil, a coil that has not finished soaking, or a power setting that is too high. Try a fresh coil, wait a few minutes and drop the wattage. Sometimes the cause is simply taste fatigue after vaping one flavour all day; a short break or a different flavour for an hour often brings it back.
  • Burnt taste. A dry hit means the cotton is not getting enough liquid. Check the tank is not nearly empty, prime the coil properly and avoid chain vaping. If the taste stays after a refill, the coil is finished and needs replacing.
  • Leaking. Overfilling, a loose seal or a cracked tank are the common causes. Fill below the maximum line, check every O-ring and screw thread, and store the tank upright. Changes in air pressure or temperature can also push liquid out.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Condensation has pooled in the airflow channel or the coil is flooded. Blow gently through the tank with the device off, wipe out the drip tip and close the airflow slightly if the coil is soaking too fast.
  • Sticky residue. Sweet liquids leave sugars on threads and mouthpieces. A wipe with a dry tissue and an occasional rinse of the tank in warm water, dried completely before refilling, keeps everything working.

If you have tried these fixes and something still seems wrong with the bottle itself, such as an unusual smell or a visibly cloudy liquid, stop using it and get in touch before you vape any more. Keep the batch details printed on the label to hand, since they help us trace the product and answer you faster.

Pros, Cons and Other Bar Series Flavours

Every product has trade-offs, so here they are plainly.

In its favour:

  • a low price per millilitre, at under 12p, compared with small bottles;
  • a large volume that suits anyone who vapes every day;
  • supplied at 0mg, so there is no nicotine unless you decide to add it;
  • a straightforward single cherry flavour with a fizzy lift, easy to describe and easy to judge;
  • freedom to set your own strength, within the limits of the bottle.

Worth weighing up:

  • nicotine shots cost extra and add a mixing step;
  • it is one flavour in a very large bottle, which is a commitment if your tastes change;
  • it needs a refillable device, so sealed pods and disposables are out;
  • sweet cherry tends to gunk coils faster than lighter flavours;
  • there is no cooling note, so people who prefer ice may look elsewhere.

Cherry Fizz is not the only flavour in the Bar Series 100ml line. At the time of writing the shop also carries Cola Ice, Apple Peach, Sweet Strawberry and Strawberry Raspberry Cherry, each as its own listing, and stock moves around, so treat that as a snapshot rather than a promise. If you like the cherry idea but want more going on, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry adds two more fruits to the mix. If the fizz is what draws you in, Cherry Fizz is the one named for it.

The honest verdict is that this is a value bottle for existing vapers with a refillable device. It does not try to be anything more complicated than sweet, fizzy cherry, and the price per millilitre is its strongest argument.

Delivery, Age Checks and Customer Help

Orders for this bottle follow the same process as everything else in the shop. UK delivery is free on orders over £20, and a single bottle at £11.99 will not reach that on its own; two bottles will, at £23.98, which is worth knowing if you were planning to stock up anyway. Orders placed before the afternoon cut-off are dispatched promptly, and the current cut-off times, courier options and delivery charges are set out on the shipping information page. Every product we sell is 100% genuine.

Because vaping products are restricted to adults, you must be 18 or over to buy. We may ask for proof of age, and a courier can be asked to check ID at the door, so keep a valid document to hand. The age verification page explains what is checked and why. We cannot make exceptions, and orders that fail the check will not be fulfilled.

When the parcel arrives, check the bottle before you open it. The seal should be intact, the label should show the brand, flavour and strength, and nothing should be leaking. If something is damaged, missing or not as described, tell us quickly with your order number and a photo of the problem, using the contact page. A fast report makes it much easier to put things right.

If you have a question that is not covered here, such as which coil fits your tank or whether a particular pod can take a shortfill, ask before you order. It is far easier to answer a question than to sort out an unsuitable purchase afterwards. Please remember that this page is general product information for adults. It is not medical advice, and nicotine is addictive.

Frequently asked questions

Does Bar Series Cherry Fizz 100ml contain nicotine?

No. It is a shortfill supplied at 0mg, so the bottle holds flavoured liquid and no nicotine. You can vape it exactly as it arrives, or add nicotine shots yourself if you are an adult who already uses nicotine. The bottle is larger than the 100ml of liquid so that there is room for shots. Nicotine is addictive, so it should never be added by anyone who does not already use it.

How much liquid is in the bottle and what does it cost?

The bottle contains 100ml of flavoured e-liquid and is listed at £11.99, which is just under 12p per millilitre. A 100ml shortfill is normally supplied in a 120ml container so there is spare room for nicotine shots. The shots are sold separately and cost extra, so factor them in if you plan to vape with nicotine.

What does Cherry Fizz taste like?

The name points to a sweet, candy-style cherry with a fizzy or sherbet-like edge rather than a dark, tart fruit. The listing gives only a cherry tag, so we cannot describe every note with certainty, but our nicotine salt version of Cherry Fizz is tagged cherry and sherbet, which suggests the same idea. There is no ice or menthol in the name, so expect no cooling effect.

How many nicotine shots can I add?

A standard 100ml shortfill in a 120ml bottle has room for two 10ml shots. With 18mg shots, one gives roughly 1.6mg per millilitre and two give exactly 3mg per millilitre. Three shots would exceed the bottle's capacity unless you pour some liquid out first. Only add shots if you are an adult who already uses nicotine, and check the strength printed on the shot bottle.

Can I use it in a refillable pod?

Often yes, but check two things first. Look at the VG to PG ratio on the bottle label and the liquid thickness the pod maker recommends, because very thick liquids can struggle in small pod coils. Thinner blends generally suit pods and mouth-to-lung tanks, while thicker ones suit open sub-ohm tanks. Never use it in a sealed prefilled pod system.

Can I put it in a disposable vape or a closed pod kit?

No. Disposables and closed or prefilled pod systems are sealed and are not designed to be refilled, so a shortfill cannot go into them. Pouring liquid into a device that was not made for it can damage the hardware and is a safety risk. You need a refillable tank or refillable pod, and our vape kits and refillable pods ranges show the options.

How long will a 100ml bottle last?

It depends on your device and habits. At around 2ml a day it should last about 50 days, at 3ml about 33 days, and at 5ml about 20 days. Sub-ohm tanks use liquid much faster than small pod devices, so heavy users will get through a bottle sooner. Adding nicotine shots increases the total volume slightly, so the bottle will last a little longer.

Does it need to steep before I can use it?

Not at 0mg. Unmixed shortfill is ready to use straight from the bottle. If you add nicotine shots, shake the bottle for about thirty seconds and let it rest for a few hours, or overnight if you can, so the nicotine blends evenly through the liquid. A short rest also lets any bubbles from shaking settle before you fill your tank.

How should I store the bottle?

Keep it upright, tightly capped, in a cool and dark place away from direct sunlight, radiators and hot cars. Heat and light darken the liquid and can dull the flavour. Check the best-before date on the label, and try to use an opened bottle within a few months. Keep it, and any nicotine shots, well out of reach of children and pets.

What are the delivery terms and age checks?

UK delivery is free on orders over £20, and the shipping page lists the current cut-off times, couriers and charges. You must be 18 or over to buy, and we may ask for proof of age before we dispatch an order. If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us with your order number and a photo, and we will help you resolve it.
