Deliciu Nic Salt Grape 20mg overview

Deliciu Nic Salt by Vaporesso in Grape at 20mg/ml is a nicotine salt e-liquid supplied in a bottle. It is not a disposable vape and it does not contain a battery, coil or tank of its own. You pour it into a refillable pod or tank device, which means the experience depends partly on the liquid and partly on the hardware you pair it with. This page explains both halves in plain terms so you can decide whether it suits you before you buy.

Nicotine salt liquids use a different form of nicotine from traditional freebase e-liquid. The nicotine is bound with an organic acid, which lowers the pH of the liquid and makes a higher strength feel noticeably smoother in the throat. That is why nic salts are normally sold at 10mg/ml and 20mg/ml and why they are normally used in small, low-powered pod devices rather than big sub-ohm tanks. The 20mg/ml figure here is also the legal ceiling in the UK: nicotine-containing e-liquid cannot be sold above 20mg/ml (2%), and refill bottles are capped at 10ml.

The key details at a glance:

  • Product: Deliciu Nic Salt by Vaporesso, Grape
  • Nicotine: 20mg/ml nicotine salt (2%)
  • Format: refill e-liquid bottle, with 10ml being the maximum size permitted for nicotine liquid in the UK
  • Intended hardware: refillable pod systems and low-wattage mouth-to-lung (MTL) devices, typically running a 0.6 to 1.2 ohm coil
  • Flavour family: sweet fruit, grape
  • Intended users: adult smokers and existing vapers, 18 and over

Check the printed label on your bottle for the exact PG/VG ratio and ingredients list, as these details are set by the manufacturer and shown on the packaging as well as in our product data. Everything below is written to help you understand how a 20mg grape nic salt behaves in practice, including the awkward parts such as coil wear, leaks and the situations where a lower strength would be the smarter choice.

Grape flavour profile

Grape is one of the more recognisable fruit flavours in vaping because almost everyone has a reference point for it. The challenge for any e-liquid maker is deciding which grape to reproduce. The two broad routes are candy-style purple grape, which tastes like grape soda or a grape sweet, and fresh green grape, which is lighter, slightly tart and closer to the fruit itself. Nic salt grape liquids on the UK market tend to lean towards the first route, with a sweet and juicy character, and that is the profile most buyers should expect from this bottle. Individual palates and batches vary, so treat the description below as a guide and not a guarantee.

How the flavour typically unfolds on each puff:

  • Inhale: a smooth, sweet grape note arrives first, with the soft throat feel of a nic salt keeping it from tasting sharp.
  • Exhale: the flavour rounds out, usually with a juicy, slightly jammy finish rather than a dry or tannic one.
  • Aftertaste: a light sweetness that fades within a few seconds. If it lingers heavily, a lower wattage or a fresh coil usually fixes that.

There is no menthol or cooling agent named in the product title, so you should expect a warm, plain fruit flavour and not an icy one. If you like your fruit with a cooling edge, look for variants marked Ice or a berry-menthol blend instead of expecting that from this bottle.

Flavour strength in a pod device is affected by three things you control: coil condition, vape temperature and how long the liquid has been sitting in the pod. A fresh coil that has been primed correctly gives the most accurate flavour. As the coil ages, sweet liquids such as grape leave residue on the mesh and the taste turns muted or slightly burnt. Because grape sits at the sugar-heavy end of the flavour range, it tends to age a coil faster than a tobacco or plain menthol liquid, so plan to change coils a little more often if you vape this flavour heavily.

Some vapers experience vaper's tongue, where a single flavour seems to fade after several days of continuous use. If that happens, switch to a different flavour for a day or two, drink plenty of water and avoid vaping straight after strong coffee. The grape should taste normal again once your palate resets.

Nicotine strength and whether 20mg is the right choice

Choosing a nicotine strength is the most important decision with any e-liquid, and it matters even more with salts because they deliver nicotine quickly and with little throat resistance. It is easy to take in more than you intend. This bottle is 20mg/ml, which is the top of the legal range in the UK, so it is aimed at people who need a strong, fast nicotine hit.

As a rough guide, many vapers choose a strength based on their previous smoking habit:

  • 15 or more cigarettes a day, or a first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking: 20mg/ml is a common starting point, particularly in a small pod device with a tight draw.
  • Roughly 5 to 15 cigarettes a day: 10mg to 12mg/ml is often enough, and 20mg/ml may feel too strong. A lower strength is worth considering.
  • Fewer than 5 a day, social smokers, or ex-smokers who vape occasionally: 20mg/ml is probably too high. A 5mg or 10mg nic salt would be more comfortable.
  • Non-smokers: nicotine is not recommended at any strength.

The 20mg/ml figure describes concentration, not total intake. What you absorb depends on how often you vape, how long each draw lasts and how much liquid your device vaporises per puff. A device running at higher wattage with wide airflow can push far more nicotine into your system per puff than a small pod kit, which is why high-strength nic salts are usually matched with low-power hardware. Putting 20mg salt into a high-wattage sub-ohm tank is a common route to nausea, dizziness and a harsh throat hit.

Signs the strength is too high include light-headedness, a racing heart, nausea, headache, or a hot, scratchy throat after only a few puffs. If you notice them, stop vaping, drink water and step down in strength next time. Signs it is too low are the opposite: you keep reaching for the device, you feel cravings between puffs, and you may be tempted back to cigarettes. Adjust in steps and give each change a few days before judging it.

On the legal side, the UK limit of 20mg/ml applies to every nicotine e-liquid and applied to single-use vapes in the same way before the disposable ban took effect on 1 June 2025. Since then, refillable pod kits and bottles like this one have become the usual route for adults who want a compact 20mg setup. Nicotine is addictive, and this product is only intended for adult smokers and vapers.

Performance and puff delivery

Because this is a liquid and not a sealed device, puff count depends on your hardware and your habits, not a fixed number printed on the box. It is still possible to give a realistic estimate. A typical refillable pod kit uses somewhere around 0.003 to 0.005ml of liquid per puff at the low wattages that suit nic salts. On that basis a 2ml pod fill gives roughly 400 to 600 puffs, and a full 10ml bottle gives in the region of 2,000 to 3,000 puffs. Treat those figures as a planning estimate. Heavier draws, higher wattage and leaky or flooded coils will all reduce them.

What matters more day to day is how consistent each puff feels from the first pod fill to the last. A 20mg grape salt in a healthy mesh coil should deliver:

  • Quick nicotine delivery: salts are absorbed fast, so most people feel satisfied after a handful of puffs, not a long session.
  • Moderate vapour: the cloud is modest compared with high-VG freebase in a sub-ohm tank. That is normal for nic salts and part of why they suit discreet, on-the-go use.
  • Steady flavour: the grape note should be consistent for the life of the coil, then start to fade or taste scorched as the coil nears the end.

If you are moving from disposables, expect a slightly different feel. Many disposables ran fixed power from a small battery, whereas a refillable kit lets you tune airflow and, on adjustable devices, wattage. A tighter airflow setting concentrates the flavour and gives a cigarette-like draw, while opening it up cools the vapour and makes it feel airier. For a 20mg salt, a fairly snug draw is usually the most comfortable and also the most economical.

Performance also depends on keeping the wick saturated. Nic salt liquids are often a balanced 50/50 PG/VG blend or a slightly higher VG blend. If you chain-vape in short, closely spaced puffs, the coil can run ahead of the wick and give a dry, hot taste. Pausing for ten to fifteen seconds between puffs, and taking slower, longer draws, avoids that and keeps flavour and throat feel more even. Always check the bottle label for the actual PG/VG ratio, as it affects how the liquid behaves in your particular pod.

Pod and coil compatibility

This e-liquid is designed for refillable pod systems and small mouth-to-lung devices. The Vaporesso name on the product suggests a natural pairing with Vaporesso hardware such as the XROS family of pod kits, but there is nothing about a nicotine salt that locks it to one brand. Any device with a refillable tank or pod that suits a thin-to-medium viscosity liquid can use it, as long as the coil resistance and power range are appropriate.

When matching a coil to a 20mg salt, these ranges are a sensible starting point:

  • Coil resistance: roughly 0.6 to 1.2 ohm. Higher resistance (1.0 ohm and up) gives a tighter, more cigarette-like draw with less liquid use. Lower resistance (0.6 to 0.8 ohm) gives more vapour and warmer flavour but burns through liquid and nicotine faster.
  • Power: usually around 8 to 25 watts, depending on the coil. Always follow the range printed on the coil or pod, and begin at the lower end.
  • Airflow: restricted to semi-restricted for nic salts. Wide-open airflow dilutes flavour and tends to make high strengths feel less satisfying.

Mesh coils versus standard wire coils. Most current pod systems use mesh coils, a thin flat sheet of metal with a large surface area that heats quickly and evenly. This helps with flavour accuracy and reduces the hot spots that cause burnt tastes, which is helpful for a sugary flavour such as grape. Standard round-wire coils can work well but are more sensitive to being under-primed. In both cases, the coil is a consumable. Most vapers replace a coil or a pod every one to two weeks, sooner with sweet liquids and heavy use.

What to avoid. Do not use a 20mg salt in a high-wattage sub-ohm tank with a coil below about 0.3 ohm. The liquid is not formulated for that kind of power, the heavy vapour makes the nicotine intake very high, and the flavour can taste harsh. If you prefer big clouds, a low-strength high-VG freebase or shortfill is a better fit than a nic salt. Also avoid leaving a freshly filled pod in a warm bag or pocket for long periods, as heat expands the liquid and can push it past the seals.

Battery, charging and recycling

The e-liquid itself has no battery, so all power considerations belong to the device you choose. That said, battery and charging habits do affect how this liquid tastes and how long a bottle lasts, so they are worth covering.

Compact pod kits that suit 20mg salts typically carry batteries in the 500mAh to 1,000mAh range, with some larger devices going beyond that. Most current models charge over USB-C and take somewhere between 30 and 90 minutes to refill. A 20mg salt used at modest wattage is gentle on a battery. As a rough guide, a 1,000mAh device at around 12 to 15 watts gives most moderate vapers a full day, while a 500mAh pod kit may need topping up once or twice a day if you vape continuously.

A few charging habits make a real difference to battery life and safety:

  • Use the cable supplied with the device or a reputable USB-C cable, and a standard wall adapter or computer port. Avoid cheap unbranded chargers.
  • Do not charge overnight or leave a device charging unattended, and do not charge it on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa.
  • Keep the device out of hot places such as a car dashboard in summer, and out of freezing conditions, which can shorten battery life.
  • If the device becomes unusually hot, swells, hisses or smells of burning, stop using it and contact the manufacturer.

A weak battery also affects how the liquid behaves. On a fading battery, vapour output drops and the coil may not heat fully, which can make a good grape liquid taste thin or slightly gurgly. If the flavour seems flat and the device is below 20 percent, charge it before assuming the liquid or coil is at fault.

Recycling in the UK. Vape devices and batteries must never go in household bins or kerbside recycling, because lithium cells are a fire risk in refuse vehicles and recycling plants. They are classed as waste electrical equipment, so take them to a household waste recycling centre or hand them in at a shop that sells vapes, which are required to accept returns of used vaping products. Empty plastic bottles should have the remaining residue left to dry with the cap off, then be disposed of following your local council guidance, since some areas treat nicotine residue differently.

Bottle design and build quality

In the UK, nicotine e-liquid is sold under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations, which set out how a bottle must be built. For a product like this one that means a small bottle, a maximum of 10ml, with a child-resistant cap and a tamper-evident seal. The bottle should have a narrow nozzle designed to reduce spills, and it should carry a clear health warning about nicotine. Products must also be notified to the MHRA before they can be sold. When you receive your bottle, it is worth checking that these basics are present.

What to look for when the parcel arrives:

  • An intact tamper-evident ring on the cap. If it is broken or missing, do not use the bottle and contact us.
  • A readable label showing the flavour, the 20mg/ml strength, ingredients, batch number and the nicotine warning.
  • A soft plastic bottle that can be squeezed gently to dispense liquid, with a narrow tip that fits into the fill port of a pod.
  • No residue around the neck or cap. A little liquid inside the outer carton from the filling process can happen, but visible leakage suggests a faulty seal.

From a practical point of view, the nozzle is the part you will care about most. A narrow tip lets you fill small pod ports without flooding them, and a firm cap thread keeps the bottle sealed in a bag or pocket. Child-resistant caps can be fiddly the first few times; press down and turn, or squeeze and turn, depending on the design, then replace the cap fully after every use.

Sugar-heavy flavours such as grape can leave a sticky residue on the outside of bottles and on the pod, so it is a good habit to wipe the bottle neck and fill port with a dry tissue after filling. This keeps the pod threads clean, stops dust and lint sticking to the device, and helps you spot slow leaks early. Store the bottle upright, away from direct sunlight and heat, and out of reach of children and pets. Nicotine liquid is harmful if swallowed or if it contacts skin or eyes for any length of time, and any spill on skin should be washed off straight away.

Who this e-liquid is for

Deliciu Nic Salt Grape 20mg is intended for adults who already smoke or vape nicotine and want a smooth, strong, sweet fruit liquid for a small pod device. Matching the product to the right person matters because 20mg is the top of the legal strength range.

It is likely to suit you if:

  • You are an adult smoker trying to switch to vaping and your cigarette habit is heavy enough that lower strengths would leave you unsatisfied.
  • You already use 20mg nic salt disposables or pods and want to move to a refillable setup after the single-use disposable ban.
  • You enjoy sweet, juicy fruit flavours and prefer them without menthol.
  • You use a compact pod kit or a low-wattage MTL device with a 0.6 to 1.2 ohm coil.

It is probably not the right choice if:

  • You have never smoked or vaped. Nicotine is addictive, and vaping is not recommended for non-smokers or anyone under 18.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or another health issue that makes nicotine a concern. Speak to a GP or pharmacist first.
  • You are a light smoker or occasional vaper, in which case 10mg or lower is usually more comfortable.
  • You prefer large clouds from a sub-ohm tank. A low-strength freebase liquid suits that style better than a 20mg salt.
  • You are very sensitive to throat hit. Nic salts are smoother than freebase at the same strength, but 20mg can still feel strong in a tight-airflow device.

If you are trying to quit smoking altogether, vaping can be a lower-risk alternative to cigarettes for adult smokers, and many people reduce their nicotine strength gradually over time. Local stop smoking services in the UK can provide free support, advice and sometimes a vaping starter kit, and it may be worth asking about that before you buy anything. Nobody should start vaping if they do not already use nicotine.

How to use Deliciu Nic Salt

Using a bottled e-liquid is simple once you have done it a couple of times. Follow these steps for a clean fill and a good first session.

  • Turn the device off or lock it. This stops accidental firing while you handle the pod.
  • Open the fill port. Most pods have a rubber bung or a sliding cover. Check your device manual if you are unsure.
  • Remove the bottle cap following the child-resistant instructions, and insert the nozzle into the fill port.
  • Squeeze gently and fill slowly, stopping at or just below the max line. Never overfill, because the airflow channel and the central tube need space or the pod will leak or gurgle.
  • Close the port and wipe away any liquid from the pod and bottle neck.
  • Wait five to ten minutes before the first puff. This priming time lets the cotton wick saturate and prevents the dry, burnt hits that ruin a new coil.
  • Take the first few puffs gently. Take slow, three- to four-second draws without firing the coil for long, and give the device a few seconds between puffs.

Draw technique matters with nic salts. Most pod devices are designed for mouth-to-lung inhaling, where you draw the vapour into your mouth first, pause for a moment, then inhale it down. This gives better flavour and avoids the harsh impact of pulling a high-strength liquid straight into the lungs.

Some extra tips to look after the liquid and the hardware:

  • Refill when the pod is about a third full, not once it is completely dry. Running a coil dry is the quickest way to burn it.
  • Change flavours only after emptying and rinsing the pod, otherwise the grape will mix with whatever was in there before.
  • Keep the device upright when not in use so liquid does not pool near the airflow vents.
  • Keep the bottle capped and upright, and store it somewhere cool and dark. Opened e-liquid is better used within a few months for the clearest flavour.

Do not exceed the voltage or wattage range of your coil, and never vape and drive, or use the device in places where it is prohibited. Keep all vaping products away from children and pets at all times.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with nic salt liquids come from the coil, the fill level or the device settings, not the liquid itself. Here is how to work through the usual ones.

  • Burnt or scorched taste: the coil is probably worn, dry or flooded. Replace the coil or pod, prime the new one for at least five minutes, and avoid chain-vaping. Grape is a sugary flavour, so coils wear faster than with tobacco.
  • Flavour is weak or muted: check for vaper's tongue by trying a different flavour for a day. If a different flavour tastes normal and the grape does not, the coil may be gunked up. A fresh coil usually restores it.
  • Leaking from the pod or device: the usual causes are overfilling, a loose pod seal, warm pockets and changes in pressure. Fill to below the max line, make sure the pod is seated firmly, and store the device upright. If leaks continue with new pods, contact the device maker.
  • Gurgling or spitting: too much liquid has pooled in the airflow channel. Wipe the mouthpiece, give a few gentle puffs to clear it, and avoid overfilling next time.
  • Dry hit with plenty of liquid in the pod: the wick is not saturated, often because the pod was used straight after filling. Wait longer, or take slower puffs. This can also happen if the fill holes are partly blocked.
  • No vapour or the device will not fire: check the battery, make sure the pod is clicked in properly, clean the contacts with a dry cotton bud and try a different pod to isolate the fault.
  • Throat feels harsh: try dropping the wattage, tightening the airflow or switching to a lower nicotine strength such as 10mg.
  • Dizziness, nausea or headaches: you are taking in too much nicotine. Stop, drink water, get some fresh air and use a lower strength afterwards.

If a bottle arrives damaged, leaks from the sealed cap, or has a broken tamper-evident ring, do not use it. Keep the bottle and packaging, and get in touch with a photograph so we can look into it. For any other persistent problem with the device itself, the manufacturer's warranty will usually apply, and their support team can advise on replacements.

Value for money

The simplest way to judge value with a bottled liquid is to work out cost per day and compare it with what you spent before. A 10ml bottle at 20mg/ml contains the equivalent nicotine to a large number of cigarettes, and for a moderate user it often lasts somewhere between four and eight days. Heavy users or people running a lower resistance coil will use it faster.

Running costs break down into three parts:

  • The liquid: check the current price shown on the product page. Dividing the price by around five to seven days of use gives a rough daily cost.
  • Coils or pods: replace every one to two weeks, so allow the price of one replacement pod or coil per bottle or two of liquid.
  • The device: a one-off cost for a reusable pod kit, spread across months of use. A device charged through USB-C adds almost nothing in electricity.

Compared with single-use disposables, which are no longer legal to sell in the UK, a refillable setup is cheaper per puff over time, produces far less waste and gives you flavour choice. A person who goes through a pack-a-day smoking habit is spending several hundred pounds a month, whereas a refillable pod setup running this liquid typically costs a small fraction of that. That comparison is a sensible reason for many adult smokers to switch, but it is not a reason for anyone who does not currently use nicotine to start.

Where you can save money:

  • Choose a coil resistance of 1.0 ohm or higher, which uses less liquid per puff.
  • Do not run the wattage higher than needed. Excess power burns through liquid and shortens coil life without improving flavour.
  • Look out for multibuy offers and bundle deals on our site if you plan to stock up. Keep the bottles sealed until needed and out of sunlight.
  • Fill the pod only to the max line to avoid wasting liquid through leaks.

Overall, the value of this liquid depends on whether 20mg is the right strength and grape the right flavour for you. A well-matched bottle that you finish happily is better value than a cheaper one that sits unused in a drawer because the strength was wrong.

How it compares with other options

A fair comparison starts with what you are choosing between. For a 20mg grape nic salt, the realistic alternatives are other brands of nic salt, a lower strength of the same flavour, or a different type of product entirely.

Versus other nic salt ranges. Several established UK nic salt ranges, including Elf Liq, IVG Salts, Nasty Salt and Hayati, tend to list grape or grape-and-berry flavours at 10mg and 20mg. Flavour accuracy, sweetness and aftertaste differ by brand, and we are not claiming this bottle outperforms them. What can be said is that a straightforward grape with no menthol is a simple, familiar profile that suits people who find multi-fruit blends confusing. If you prefer a blended flavour, such as grape with berry or grape with ice, one of those ranges may suit you better.

Versus the 10mg version. The 10mg strength of a salt is a smoother, lower-nicotine option that suits lighter smokers and people stepping down. If you are not sure, 10mg is the safer starting point, as you can move up if cravings continue. The 20mg version suits heavier smokers and anyone who found 10mg unsatisfying.

Versus freebase e-liquid. Freebase liquids are usually sold at 3mg, 6mg or 12mg and are made for higher-powered devices that make bigger clouds. They give a stronger, more traditional throat hit and a larger flavour burst per puff, but they are less discreet and less efficient at delivering nicotine to a smoker with high cravings. Salts give a quicker nicotine hit at lower power.

Versus pre-filled pods. Closed pod systems with pre-filled cartridges are convenient and tidy, but locked to a single flavour and usually more expensive per ml. A bottle gives flexibility and generally better value, at the price of a little more handling and the risk of spills.

Versus disposables. Disposables are now off the UK market, but if you used one before, the biggest difference is waste and control. A refillable kit with this liquid produces less electronic waste, lets you tune airflow and power, and keeps running costs lower. The trade-off is learning how to fill, prime and maintain the device.

Frequently asked questions

Is 20mg the right nicotine strength for me?

20mg/ml suits adult smokers who get through around 15 or more cigarettes a day or who light up soon after waking. Lighter smokers are usually more comfortable with 10mg or lower, and non-smokers should not use nicotine at all. If you are unsure, start lower, since you can move up in strength more easily than you can cope with too much nicotine.

Do I need to charge this e-liquid?

No, the liquid is not a battery-powered product and has nothing to charge. The device you put it in has a battery, which usually charges over USB-C in 30 to 90 minutes. Use the supplied cable and never leave a device charging unattended.

Can I swap to a different flavour or strength?

Yes. Deliciu and similar nic salt ranges come in a variety of flavours and in lower strengths such as 10mg. When you change flavour, empty and rinse the pod, or fit a new coil, so the grape does not mix with the previous liquid. Browse the rest of the range on our site for alternatives.

How long does a 10ml bottle last?

For a moderate user in a pod kit, a 10ml bottle usually lasts about four to eight days, which works out at roughly 2,000 to 3,000 puffs. Heavier use, higher wattage and low-resistance coils will shorten that. Your coil will also need replacing every one to two weeks.

Is it good value compared with disposables?

A refillable setup is generally cheaper per puff than single-use vapes, which can no longer be sold in the UK, and it creates less waste. Work out your daily cost using the bottle price and your typical use, then add the cost of replacement coils. Keeping the wattage modest helps stretch both the liquid and the coil.

Who should not buy this product?

It is not for anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure or other medical concern about nicotine should speak to a GP or pharmacist first. Light smokers should also consider a lower strength.

Can I use it in a sub-ohm tank?

It is not recommended. Nic salt at 20mg/ml is made for low-power devices with a tight draw. Using it in a high-wattage sub-ohm tank produces large clouds and a very high nicotine intake, which often causes nausea, dizziness and a harsh throat hit.

How should I store and dispose of it?

Store the bottle upright with the cap closed, away from heat, sunlight, children and pets. Do not put used devices or batteries in household bins. Take them to a household waste recycling centre or a shop that sells vapes, and follow local council advice for empty bottles.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, we deliver to UK addresses only and you must be 18 or over to buy. Delivery options, prices and dispatch times are shown at checkout and on our delivery information page. Age may be checked on or before delivery.

What is your returns policy and warranty?

If your bottle arrives damaged, leaking or with a broken tamper-evident seal, contact us with a photograph and we will put it right. Your statutory consumer rights apply, and our returns page explains the process for unopened items. For faults in a vape device, the device manufacturer's own warranty will apply.
