Double Brew Nic Salts Kiwi Passionfruit Guava: what you are buying

Double Brew Nic Salts in Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is a 10ml nicotine salt e-liquid at 20mg/ml (2% nicotine by volume), sold as a refillable bottle rather than a sealed single-use device. It is a tropical fruit blend built around the three fruits named on the label: kiwi, passionfruit and guava. This page covers the flavour, the strength, the bottle and the kind of hardware it suits, so you can decide whether it fits how you vape before you order.

The numbers on the label matter in the UK. Nicotine-containing e-liquid can be sold in bottles of no more than 10ml, and the maximum strength is 20mg/ml. This bottle sits at the top of both limits, which means one bottle holds a total of 200mg of nicotine (20mg x 10ml). That is worth knowing if you are comparing price per ml, or planning how many bottles to keep in the house. Child-resistant, tamper-evident closures and a visible nicotine health warning are part of the standard format for products like this in the UK, and you should expect to see them on the bottle you receive.

Because this is a refill liquid and not a disposable, it works with pod systems and other low-power refillable devices that accept nicotine salts. Since 1 June 2025, single-use vapes have been banned from sale across Great Britain, and many former disposable users have moved to refillable pod kits for that reason. A 10ml salt bottle is the natural consumable for that kind of kit: you fill a small pod or tank, vape it down, then refill, instead of throwing away a whole device (battery and all) every few days.

The key facts at a glance:

  • Product type: nicotine salt e-liquid for refillable devices
  • Bottle size: 10ml
  • Nicotine strength: 20mg/ml (2%)
  • Total nicotine per bottle: 200mg
  • Flavour: kiwi, passionfruit and guava (tropical fruit)
  • Best suited to: refillable pod kits and low-wattage mouth-to-lung devices
  • Not suitable for: anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who do not already use nicotine

The rest of this guide works through the flavour, the nicotine strength, the bottle, the devices that suit it, how long a bottle lasts, and what to do when something goes wrong. We have tried to be straightforward about the limitations as well as the strengths, because a flavour that suits one vaper can be too sweet or too sharp for another.

Flavour profile: kiwi, passionfruit and guava

The name tells you the three fruits, and each one contributes something different to the blend. Kiwi usually reads as a bright, slightly sharp green fruit note with a juicy tartness. Passionfruit adds an aromatic, tangy layer that tends to sit toward the back of the flavour and linger a little on the exhale. Guava is the soft, rounded component: a mellow sweetness with a faintly floral, slightly musky edge that fills in the middle and stops the blend tasting purely sour.

Put together, the result is a tropical fruit flavour rather than a candy or dessert one. If you have ever had a kiwi and passionfruit juice or a guava smoothie, the general direction will be familiar. Flavour is subjective and e-liquid flavourings are an interpretation of fruit rather than a copy of it, so expect the character of each fruit rather than a literal fruit salad. Different people pick out different notes: some taste kiwi first, others get passionfruit up front.

A few points help set expectations:

  • Sweetness: fruit nic salts are normally on the sweeter side, because sweetness balances the acidity of the fruit notes and softens the nicotine. If you dislike sweet e-liquids, this is likely to be sweeter than you want.
  • Sharpness: kiwi and passionfruit both carry natural acidity, so there is a gentle tang rather than a flat sweetness. It is not a sour-sweet flavour in the way a sour sweet is.
  • Coolness: this is a fruit flavour, not a menthol or ice blend. Do not expect a cooling sensation on the throat or a minty finish.
  • Body: the guava gives the vapour a slightly fuller, juicier feel than a single sharp fruit would, which many vapers find easier to enjoy through a long session.

Where it sits among tropical fruit e-liquids: it is gentler and rounder than a pure passionfruit or pure kiwi flavour, and less syrupy than mango-led blends. It is a decent choice for someone who wants a recognisably fruity vape without sitting in the heavy dessert or sweets category. On the other hand, if you want a single crisp fruit with no sweetness, or something strongly iced, there are simpler products that do that more directly.

One practical note on flavour strength: nic salts are usually mixed to be tasty at low power, so you do not need to push the wattage up to find the flavour. In fact, doing so tends to flatten the more delicate guava and passionfruit notes and push the profile toward a generic sweet fruit taste.

How the flavour behaves from first puff to last drop

E-liquid flavour is not static. It changes with the coil, the temperature, the age of the bottle and even the way you draw on the device. Knowing what to expect helps you tell the difference between a normal change and a genuine fault.

The first few puffs on a new coil. A fresh coil needs a short priming period so the cotton or mesh is fully saturated. In the first few puffs you may taste a little cotton or a muted version of the flavour. After a few minutes, the kiwi and passionfruit notes sharpen and the guava fills in behind them. This is normal and is not a sign the liquid is poor quality.

Mid-pod. This is where the flavour is at its most balanced. Each puff should give a clear fruity inhale, a slightly tangy exhale and a soft sweet finish. If you vape in short, gentle draws, the flavour tends to stay clean and consistent.

Late in the coil's life. Sweet fruit liquids leave residue on the coil as they are heated, and over days and weeks that residue builds up. The first sign is usually that the flavour seems flatter, with the fruit notes dulling and the sweetness becoming more prominent and slightly caramelised. A burnt or bitter edge is the next stage. At that point the fix is a new coil or pod, not a different bottle.

Over the life of the bottle. Once opened, a 10ml bottle should be used within a reasonable period. Keep the cap on tightly, store the bottle upright away from direct sunlight and heat, and avoid leaving it on a windowsill or in a hot car. Light, heat and air all degrade flavour and can darken the liquid. Some darkening is normal with nic salts over time, but if the taste turns noticeably off or harsh, replace the bottle.

Steeping. Some vapers leave a new bottle for a day or two with the cap loosened briefly and then tightened, in the belief that the flavours blend more fully. Ready-mixed nic salts are generally designed to be used straight away, so steeping is optional. If you want to try it, keep the bottle out of light and heat and do not expect a dramatic change.

Palate fatigue. Fruit-forward flavours can seem to fade if you vape them constantly, a phenomenon often called vaper's tongue. If the flavour seems to have disappeared, try a glass of water, a different flavour for a day, or simply a break before assuming something is wrong with the liquid or the coil.

Nicotine salts and choosing the right strength

Nicotine salt e-liquid uses a form of nicotine combined with an organic acid (benzoic acid is common) so the pH is lower than traditional freebase nicotine. In practice this means the vapour is smoother on the throat at higher strengths, and the nicotine is absorbed relatively quickly. That is why nic salts are usually sold at 10mg and 20mg, while freebase e-liquids for sub-ohm devices are normally 0 to 6mg.

This bottle is 20mg/ml. That is the highest strength allowed in the UK, and it is aimed at people who need a fairly strong nicotine hit to replace smoking. It is not a beginner strength for someone who has never smoked, and it is not a casual-use strength.

As a rough guide, many vapers choose strength by how much they smoked:

  • Heavy smokers (roughly 15 or more cigarettes a day, or first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking): 20mg salt is a common starting point.
  • Moderate smokers (around 10 to 15 a day): 20mg or 10mg depending on how you respond. Many start on 20mg and step down once cravings are under control.
  • Light smokers (under 10 a day): 10mg is often enough, and 20mg can feel too strong, causing lightheadedness or nausea.
  • Former smokers stepping down: lower strengths such as 10mg or 5mg are usually more appropriate once cravings have settled.

These are generalisations, not medical advice. Everyone absorbs nicotine differently, and device type and puff style matter. A long, deep draw on a high-wattage device delivers far more nicotine than a short puff on a pod kit.

Signs you may be taking in too much nicotine include dizziness, nausea, headaches, sweating, a racing heart or feeling shaky. If that happens, stop vaping, sit down, drink some water and eat something. If you vape regularly at 20mg and feel these symptoms repeatedly, move to a lower strength. If you find 20mg leaves you reaching for a cigarette after an hour, try a stronger-delivering device or more frequent shorter puffs rather than a higher strength, since 20mg is the legal ceiling.

Do not try to dilute a 20mg salt with freebase e-liquid or unflavoured base to lower the strength. The pH balance changes and the result is unpredictable. If you want 10mg, buy a 10mg bottle, and check whether a lower-strength version of this flavour is listed on the site. Non-smokers should not use this product at all, and nicotine is not recommended for anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition without speaking to a doctor first.

Bottle design and build quality

A 10ml e-liquid bottle is a simple object, but a few design details determine whether it is pleasant to use or a mess. For nicotine e-liquid in the UK, the container has to be child-resistant and tamper-evident, and it must carry a health warning, ingredient list and batch information. Those requirements shape the design more than any brand choice does.

Here is what to look for when your bottle arrives:

  • Tamper-evident seal: the cap should have an intact ring or band that breaks when first opened. If the seal is already broken, do not use the bottle and contact us.
  • Child-resistant closure: most 10ml bottles need you to push down and turn, or squeeze and twist, to open the cap. It can feel fiddly at first, but it is there for a reason. Always close it fully after every refill.
  • Narrow nozzle: 10ml nic salt bottles generally use a thin dropper tip. This is designed to fit the small fill ports on pod kits without spilling. Check the tip is clean and not blocked before first use.
  • Squeezable body: the bottle wall is soft plastic so you can control the flow by squeezing gently. Squeeze slowly. A hard squeeze pushes out too much at once and can flood a pod.
  • Label information: the label should show the nicotine strength, the ingredients, a batch or lot number, and a best-before date. Keep a note of the batch number in case of any quality query.

Build quality in this format is mostly about the cap thread, the nozzle seal and the label. A cap that does not thread cleanly, a nozzle that leaks around the neck, or a label that peels off in the first week are all reasons to get in touch. They are rare but not unheard of with any e-liquid brand at this price point.

Storage and safety. Nicotine e-liquid is toxic if swallowed, and children and pets are particularly at risk. Store bottles upright in a cool, dark place well out of reach, ideally in a closed box or cupboard. If liquid gets on your skin, wash it off with soap and water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water, and seek medical advice for any ingestion or persistent irritation.

Recycling empty bottles. Empty plastic bottles can often go in household plastic recycling, but rules vary by council, so check your local authority guidance. Many vape shops also offer drop-off points for e-liquid packaging. Do not pour leftover liquid down the drain; keep the cap on and dispose of it as your local rules advise.

Devices, coils and mesh: what to pair it with

The e-liquid is only half of the experience. The device and coil determine how the flavour is delivered, how much vapour you get, and how long each coil lasts. This liquid is formulated for low-power mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping, so it matches best with refillable pod kits and slim tank systems.

Good matches. Open (refillable) pod kits are the main target. Popular families include the Vaporesso XROS, OXVA Xlim, SMOK Novo and Uwell Caliburn ranges, and many of their rivals. The key is that the pod can be refilled. Closed pre-filled pod systems that only accept proprietary cartridges will not take a bottled liquid.

Coil resistance and power. Nic salts work best with coils in roughly the 0.6 to 1.2 ohm range at modest power, commonly around 8 to 15 watts. Within that range, higher resistance coils (1.0 to 1.2 ohm) give a tighter draw, a stronger throat hit and lower vapour. Lower resistance coils (0.6 to 0.8 ohm) are airier, produce more vapour and make flavour stand out more, but they use more e-liquid and deliver more nicotine per puff.

Mesh versus ceramic versus standard cotton.

  • Mesh coils: a thin sheet of metal mesh in contact with a large area of cotton. Mesh heats more evenly, so flavour tends to be fuller and consistent, and ramp-up is fast. It also handles slightly higher wattage well. The downside is that mesh can gunk quickly with sweet fruit liquids.
  • Ceramic coils: a porous ceramic wick around a heating element. Ceramic is clean-tasting and long-lasting in theory, but flavour can be a little muted and the coil can crack if it is dry-fired.
  • Round-wire cotton coils: the traditional style. Simple, cheap and reliable at low power. Flavour is good but vapour production is typically lower.

What to avoid. Do not use 20mg nic salt in a high-power sub-ohm tank at 40 watts or more. The vapour will be harsh, the nicotine hit will be much stronger than you intend, and you will burn through the bottle quickly. If you are using a sub-ohm device, a freebase e-liquid at a much lower strength is the appropriate choice.

Coil life. Sweet fruit e-liquids tend to shorten coil life. Expect a coil to last around one to two weeks with daily use, or roughly one to two 10ml bottles, depending on power and puff style. Keep spare pods or coils on hand so you are not stuck with a burnt one.

Battery and charging on your device

E-liquid does not contain a battery, so battery life and charging are determined by the device you pair it with. Most refillable pod kits that suit nic salts use an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery in the region of 400mAh to 1,000mAh, charged via USB-C. Some compact pods go a little lower, while larger kits go higher.

You can estimate what to expect with simple arithmetic. A 1,000mAh battery at a nominal 3.7V stores around 3.7 watt-hours. At 12 watts, that is about 18 minutes of continuous firing. If your average puff is around 3 seconds, that works out to roughly 300 puffs before losses, which is in the region of one to two 2ml pods. Real-world figures vary with power setting, puff length and battery condition, but it is a useful guide when deciding if a device will last through your day.

Practical charging guidance:

  • Use the cable that came with the device, or a good-quality USB-C cable, plugged into a standard 5V adapter or a computer USB port. Very high-output fast chargers are unnecessary for a small vape battery.
  • Expect charging to take around 30 to 90 minutes depending on battery size and charger output.
  • Do not charge unattended or overnight, and do not charge on a bed, sofa or other soft surface where heat can build up.
  • Do not use a device with a damaged casing, a swollen battery, or exposed wires. If the device gets unusually hot while charging, unplug it and stop using it.
  • Keep the charging port clean. Lint and spilled e-liquid in the port can cause poor contact or shorting. A dry cotton bud is usually enough to clean it.
  • Do not carry loose batteries or devices in a pocket with coins or keys.

A common cause of premature battery wear is running the device flat repeatedly or leaving it at 0% for long periods. A better habit is to top up when it reaches 20 to 30%.

Recycling devices and batteries. Vape devices contain lithium batteries and electronics, and they must not go in household bins or ordinary recycling. They are classed as waste electrical equipment (WEEE) and can be handed in at household waste recycling centres, and retailers that sell vape products are obliged to take back old ones. Look for in-store collection points or council drop-off bins. Removing and recycling a spent pod or coil properly also prevents e-liquid and metal from ending up in general waste.

Performance and how long 10ml lasts

Performance with a nic salt is different from performance with a freebase liquid in a sub-ohm kit. Instead of large clouds, you get a compact, flavourful vapour and a quick nicotine hit. Double Brew Kiwi Passionfruit Guava is designed for that style, so judge it on flavour consistency and satisfaction per puff rather than cloud size.

Puff delivery. With a typical mouth-to-lung pod kit at 10 to 15 watts, each puff delivers a modest amount of liquid, in the region of 5 to 8 milligrams of vapour. The throat hit at 20mg salt is noticeable but smooth, noticeably gentler than freebase at the same strength. Vapour volume is moderate, quite enough to confirm flavour but not enough to draw attention in a room.

How many puffs in a bottle. A rough figure for typical mouth-to-lung use is 150 to 300 puffs per millilitre, depending on puff length and power. That puts a 10ml bottle at roughly 1,500 to 3,000 puffs. A standard 2ml refillable pod therefore delivers somewhere around 300 to 600 puffs, so a 10ml bottle will fill a 2ml pod about five times.

How long that lasts depends on how much you use:

  • Light use (about 1ml a day): a bottle lasts around 10 days.
  • Moderate use (about 2ml a day): a bottle lasts around 5 days.
  • Heavy use (3 to 4ml a day): a bottle lasts around 2.5 to 3 days.

These are estimates only. If you use significantly more than 3 to 4ml a day at 20mg, consider whether you are taking in more nicotine than you need. The total nicotine in the bottle is 200mg, so at 3ml a day you are putting 60mg of nicotine through the device daily. Not all of that is absorbed, but it is a lot of nicotine, and it is worth keeping an eye on in case you start feeling dizzy or nauseous.

Consistency. Because the liquid is a pre-mixed nic salt, the flavour should be consistent from bottle to bottle, subject to normal batch variation. Differences in how it tastes are usually due to the coil age, device settings or palate fatigue rather than the liquid itself.

Real-world tips for getting more from a bottle: use lower power, take shorter puffs, replace the coil before it burns, and keep the pod topped up so the wick is never dry. Chain vaping uses a bottle fast and tends to increase both cost and nicotine intake.

Who this e-liquid is for, and who should skip it

A good e-liquid choice depends on the person as much as the product. Here is a straightforward look at who is likely to enjoy Double Brew Kiwi Passionfruit Guava at 20mg, and who is better off looking elsewhere.

Likely to suit:

  • Adult smokers switching to vaping who need a decent nicotine hit and want a flavour that does not taste like tobacco.
  • Former disposable users who want a refillable alternative after the single-use ban, and want to keep fruit flavours.
  • Fans of tropical and sharp-sweet fruit flavours who find sweet candy or dessert liquids too heavy.
  • Pod kit owners looking for a 10ml bottle that fits small fill ports and works at low wattage.
  • People who vape discreetly and prefer low vapour output, tight draws and a quick nicotine hit.

Probably not the right choice:

  • Anyone under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine products to under-18s in the UK, and it is illegal for adults to buy them on behalf of under-18s.
  • Non-smokers and non-vapers. Nicotine is addictive, and there is no reason to start. Vaping is intended to help existing smokers move away from cigarettes.
  • Light or occasional smokers. 20mg may be too strong. Look at a 10mg or lower option instead.
  • Sub-ohm and high-wattage users. This liquid is built for low power. At high wattage it would taste harsh and deliver too much nicotine.
  • People who dislike sweetness. If you prefer dry, tart or tobacco flavours, a sweeter fruit blend is likely to be disappointing.
  • Anyone who is pregnant, or who has heart disease or other relevant health conditions, should speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

If you are trying to stop smoking and want support, the NHS stop smoking services in your area can offer free advice and, in many cases, free access to nicotine replacement or a vape starter kit. Vaping is much less harmful than smoking for adults who switch completely, but it is not risk-free, and the aim for most people is to eventually reduce nicotine altogether.

How to fill, prime and use it

Using a bottled nic salt is simple, but a few habits make the difference between a good experience and a leaky, burnt-tasting one. This is a step-by-step approach that works for most refillable pod kits.

  • Step 1, check the device. Make sure the pod or tank is clean and fully assembled, the battery has charge, and the coil is the right resistance for nic salt. Remove the pod from the battery section before filling.
  • Step 2, open the bottle. Push down and twist the child-resistant cap. Keep the bottle upright as you open it.
  • Step 3, locate the fill port. Most pods have a small rubber or silicone plug. Pull it back, or slide the cover away, to expose the opening.
  • Step 4, fill slowly. Hold the pod upright, insert the nozzle and squeeze gently. Stop at the max fill line, which is usually just below the top, so there is room for air. Never fill over the line, and never fill the central chimney tube.
  • Step 5, close up. Wipe any drops off the pod, push the plug firmly home and put the cap back on the bottle until it clicks or is fully tightened.
  • Step 6, let it prime. This is the most commonly skipped step. Wait around 5 to 10 minutes for a new coil, or 2 to 3 minutes for a refill in an already-used coil, so the cotton or mesh can fully soak.
  • Step 7, start gently. Take your first few puffs without firing at full power. A couple of short, light draws on a new coil help avoid dry hits.

Puff style. Mouth-to-lung vaping means drawing the vapour into your mouth first, pausing briefly, then inhaling into the lungs. Short, gentle draws of two to three seconds suit nic salts well. A long, hard pull heats the coil more and uses more liquid without improving flavour.

Pacing yourself. Because 20mg is strong, avoid chain vaping. Vape when you feel a craving, take a few puffs, then stop. Many people find that a handful of draws every 20 to 30 minutes is enough, and that it gets easier to space out after a few days.

Changing flavours. If you switch between flavours, empty the pod, rinse it with cool water, let it dry fully, and ideally fit a fresh coil. Otherwise, the previous flavour will carry over into the new one.

Hydration. Vaping can dry the mouth and throat. Keep water nearby and sip regularly, especially if you notice a dry or scratchy throat.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with a nic salt and pod kit have simple causes. Work through the likely causes before assuming the e-liquid is at fault.

  • Burnt or bitter taste: usually a worn coil or a dry hit. Replace the coil, check the pod has enough liquid, and allow time to prime. Lower the power if your device allows it. Sweet fruit liquids tend to cause this sooner than clear or tobacco flavours.
  • Weak or muted flavour: could be a tired coil, a low battery, vaper's tongue or a pod that has not been refilled in time. Try a fresh coil and a day on a different flavour. Check the liquid is stored away from heat and light.
  • Leaking from the pod or device: often caused by overfilling, a poorly seated pod, a loose plug or a cracked pod. Fill only to the line, make sure the plug is pushed in firmly, and wipe the contacts. Replace the pod if you can see a crack.
  • Gurgling or spitting: too much condensation or flooded coil. Blow gently through the mouthpiece, wipe the airflow vents and, if needed, let the device rest upright for a few minutes.
  • Dry hit or no vapour: the wick is not saturated. Wait a few minutes, tilt the pod to let liquid reach the coil, and take a few gentle draws. If it persists, the liquid may be too thick for a damaged coil, or the fill level is too low.
  • Harsh throat hit: 20mg is strong and some people find it too much. Lower the wattage, take shorter puffs, make sure airflow is not too tight, or move to a 10mg strength.
  • Dizziness, headaches or nausea: likely too much nicotine. Stop vaping, drink water and eat something. Use a lower strength next time.
  • Device does not fire: check the battery is charged, the pod is seated properly, and the contacts are clean. Check the device has not locked (many click the button five times to lock or unlock).
  • Liquid has darkened: nic salts may darken a little with age and exposure to light. This is usually cosmetic if the taste is unchanged. If the smell or taste is off, stop using it.
  • Bottle cap sticks or will not open: child-resistant caps need a firm push-and-turn. If the cap is damaged or cracks, replace the bottle and do not use it for storage.

If you have tried these steps and the problem continues, contact us with your order number, the batch code on the bottle and a photo if the issue is damage or leakage, and we will help work out whether it is a device or a product problem.

Value for money and honest comparisons

Value is more than the shelf price of the bottle. It depends on how long a bottle lasts, how many coils it burns through, and how well the flavour holds up. With 10ml at 20mg, you are buying 200mg of nicotine and, in typical pod use, somewhere in the range of 1,500 to 3,000 puffs. Divide the price on the page by 10 to see the cost per ml and compare it with other bottles on the same basis.

Against disposables. Before the 2025 ban, many people used disposable vapes with a fixed 2ml of liquid and a built-in battery. Over a month, a refillable pod kit with 10ml bottles is almost always cheaper, because you pay for the liquid and the occasional coil rather than a whole new device every few days. Refillables also produce less electronic waste. The trade-off is convenience: you have to charge, fill and maintain the kit.

Against other 10ml nic salt ranges. Brands such as Elfliq, IVG Salts and Pod Salt all sell 10ml nic salt bottles at similar strengths, often in the same fruit styles. Differences usually come down to flavour accuracy, sweetness level, price and the range of flavours on offer. We would not claim that this product outclasses those ranges in every respect. If you already have a favourite brand you trust, there is no particular reason to change, but if you like the kiwi, passionfruit and guava combination, it is worth trying here because that exact blend is not common.

Against 50ml shortfills with nic shots. Shortfills offer lower per-ml cost and more volume, but they are made for freebase and sub-ohm devices. Adding nicotine shots to reach 3 to 6mg gives a different experience from a 20mg salt, with less throat smoothness at low power. If you use a pod kit, nic salts are the better match; if you use a sub-ohm tank, a shortfill is the more economical route.

Weighing it up honestly.

  • In its favour: a clear tropical fruit identity, smooth nicotine delivery at 20mg, a bottle size that fits pod fill ports, and a sensible fit for ex-disposable users.
  • Against it: 10ml is the legal maximum but small for heavy users, it is on the sweet side, sweet liquids shorten coil life, and a single strength is listed here, so lighter smokers may need to look elsewhere.

If you want to keep costs down, buy multiple bottles at once if multi-buy offers are available, keep coils fresh to protect flavour, use lower power, and store bottles properly so none go to waste. Always buy from a UK retailer that checks age at purchase and gives clear batch and ingredient information. That is a better guide to quality than a low price alone.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Best value per ml in the category
  • Choose your own device and coil
  • Available in a wide strength ladder

Cons

  • Refilling can leak if you overfill
  • Coil priming has a small learning curve
  • You handle the bottle — less discreet than pods

Customer Buying Tips

  • Match the strength to how much you smoked: 20+/day → 10-20 mg nic salt; 10/day → 10 mg; under 5/day → 3-6 mg freebase.
  • Match the ratio to your device: pod kits take 50/50, sub-ohm tanks take 70/30 shortfill.
  • Don't overfill: leaving the airhole clear prevents gurgling and leaking.
  • Shake before use so the nicotine and flavour integrate evenly.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose, and is 20mg too strong?

20mg/ml nic salt is the maximum strength allowed in the UK and is generally suited to people who smoke around 10 to 15 or more cigarettes a day. If you smoke fewer, or you are stepping down from vaping, 10mg may feel more comfortable. If you feel dizzy, sick or shaky after vaping, move to a lower strength.

How do I charge the device I use with this e-liquid?

The e-liquid has no battery of its own, so charging depends on your pod kit. Most use a USB-C cable and a standard 5V adapter and take around 30 to 90 minutes to charge. Do not leave a device charging unattended or overnight, and stop using it if it gets unusually hot or the casing looks damaged.

Can I mix this with other flavours or buy it in a different strength or flavour?

You can change flavours by emptying and rinsing the pod and fitting a fresh coil, but we do not recommend mixing two nic salts together in the same pod because it changes the taste and the strength unpredictably. Do not mix nic salts with freebase liquid. Check the product listings on the site for other flavours and strengths in the Double Brew range.

How long does one 10ml bottle last?

At typical mouth-to-lung pod use, a 10ml bottle represents roughly 1,500 to 3,000 puffs, or about five fills of a 2ml pod. For a moderate user taking around 2ml a day, that is about five days. Heavier use, higher wattage and longer puffs will use it faster.

Is this good value compared with disposable vapes?

Over a month, refillable pod kits with 10ml nic salt bottles are usually cheaper than buying replacement disposables, partly because you only replace the liquid and the occasional coil. Disposables have also been banned from sale in Great Britain since 1 June 2025. The trade-off is that you need a compatible refillable device and have to look after it.

Who should and should not buy Double Brew Kiwi Passionfruit Guava?

It is intended for adult smokers who want a fruit-flavoured, smooth nic salt for use in a refillable pod device. It is not for anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who are pregnant or who have heart conditions without medical advice. It is also not suitable for sub-ohm or high-wattage devices.

Do you deliver across the UK, and is there an age check?

We deliver to addresses in the UK, and delivery options and costs are shown at checkout. As this is a nicotine product, age verification applies and we cannot supply anyone under 18. Please make sure someone aged 18 or over can accept the parcel.

What if my bottle arrives damaged or leaking, and what is the returns position?

E-liquid is a consumable, and for hygiene and safety reasons opened bottles generally cannot be returned. If your order arrives damaged, leaking or incorrect, contact us with your order number and a photo and we will arrange a replacement or refund in line with our returns policy. Please check the policy page for the full terms.

How should I store the bottle and dispose of the empty one?

Store it upright in a cool, dark place, out of reach of children and pets, with the cap tightly closed. Empty plastic bottles can often be recycled in household plastic recycling, but local rules vary, so check with your council. Devices and batteries should go to a WEEE recycling point or a retailer take-back scheme, not the ordinary bin.
