Elux Cyberover 6K Prefilled Pods Mr Blue: Overview

Elux Cyberover 6K Prefilled Pods in Mr Blue are replacement pods made for the Elux Cyberover pod device. Each pod arrives already filled with nicotine salt e-liquid and fitted with its own mesh coil, so there is nothing to top up, prime or assemble. You take the pod out of the packaging, press it into the device, give it a short pause for the cotton to wet, and start vaping. That lack of fuss is the whole appeal of a prefilled pod system, and it is why the format suits adult smokers who are switching away from cigarettes and do not want to learn about coils, resistances and juice ratios.

The 6K in the name refers to the manufacturer's rated puff count per pod, which is roughly 6,000 draws under test conditions. Real-world numbers vary with how you vape, and we cover that honestly in the performance section below. Mr Blue is the flavour on this listing: a blue-fruit profile built around blueberry, with a tart raspberry-style edge and a light cooling finish. If you want a different flavour you need a different pod, and the device itself stays the same.

This page is a long-form guide written for UK adult vapers. It walks through what you are actually buying, how the pod performs, what the flavour is like, how the battery and coil work, which nicotine strength makes sense, who the pod suits, who should look elsewhere, and how it compares with similar products. We have tried to stick to things that can be reasoned from the product format and to avoid inflated claims. Where a detail depends on the exact pack or batch, we say so and point you to the printed information on the box.

  • Format: prefilled replacement pod for the Elux Cyberover device
  • Flavour: Mr Blue, blueberry-led blue fruit with mild cooling
  • Rated life: around 6,000 puffs per pod (manufacturer rating, not a guarantee)
  • Coil: pre-installed mesh coil, replaced with every new pod
  • Nicotine: nicotine salt, with 20mg/ml (2%) being the UK maximum strength
  • Who it is for: adult smokers and existing vapers aged 18 and over

Nicotine is addictive. These products are for adults only and are not intended for non-smokers, anyone under 18, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

What You Get and How the Cyberover System Fits Together

A prefilled pod system has two halves. The first half is the device, which holds the battery, the electronics and the draw sensor. The second half is the pod, which holds the e-liquid, the cotton wick and the coil. The pod on this page is the consumable half. You will need an Elux Cyberover device to use it, and the device is usually sold separately from replacement pods, so check that you already own one or add one to your order.

Because the coil sits inside the pod rather than in the device, every new pod brings a fresh coil with it. This is the main reason prefilled systems need so little maintenance. Coil wear is the most common cause of flat or burnt flavour in any vape, and swapping the pod removes that problem each time. The trade-off is that you cannot rescue a pod whose coil has failed early, and you cannot refill it with a different liquid. Treat the pod as a sealed cartridge that you use until it is finished and then recycle.

The Cyberover range is built for people who value a longer run time per pod than the small closed-pod kits that dominate the UK shelf. A rating of around 6,000 puffs is a different class from the 600-puff pods you may be used to, so the pod is physically larger and the e-liquid load is considerably bigger. Exact liquid volume is printed on the pack, and it is worth reading that figure rather than relying on any website, including this one, because specifications can change between production batches.

  • In the box: the prefilled pod, sealed and ready to fit
  • Not in the box: the Cyberover device and charging cable, unless you buy a bundle
  • Compatibility: intended for the Elux Cyberover device only, so do not expect it to fit other brands
  • Maintenance: none beyond wiping the contacts now and then

If you are new to pod systems, the practical summary is simple. Buy the device once, then buy pods whenever the current one runs out. Keep a spare pod in your bag if you rely on vaping to avoid cigarettes, because running out at the wrong moment is the most common reason people drift back to smoking.

Mr Blue Flavour Profile

Mr Blue belongs to the blue-fruit family, a group of flavours that have been popular in UK vape shops for years. The name does not point to a single fruit, which is typical of the category, but the profile reads as blueberry first, with a sharper raspberry-style tang behind it. If you have tried blue raspberry sweets or blueberry soft drinks, you will recognise the general direction. It is a sweet flavour with a bright, slightly sour edge, rather than a dessert or tobacco profile.

On the inhale you should get a smooth, juicy berry note. Blueberry in vape flavouring tends to taste rounded and a little jammy, and the tart element stops it from becoming heavy over a long session. On the exhale there is a mild cooling effect. It is not a menthol blast, and it sits closer to a breath-mint chill than to the throat-numbing ice of the strongest cooling flavours. Vapers who dislike a strong cooling sensation usually find this level comfortable, while those who want a strong arctic hit may find it gentle.

One point worth being straightforward about is flavour fade. Prefilled pods with a very high puff rating can taste slightly different at the start of the pod than at the end. Many vapers describe the first third of a pod as the most vivid, a steady middle section, and a softer finish as the liquid level drops. This is normal behaviour for any wick-fed pod, and it is not necessarily a defect. Keeping the pod seated upright between sessions helps the wick stay evenly wet.

If you like Mr Blue, you may also enjoy other fruit and ice flavours often found in the wider Elux range. Names that tend to appear include these, although availability changes and you should check current stock:

  • Blue Razz Ice: a close cousin with a stronger raspberry lean
  • Watermelon Ice: a light, juicy melon with a cooling finish
  • Triple Mango: a rich tropical profile with no cooling
  • Pink Lemonade: a sweet and sour citrus option
  • Cherry Cola: a fizzy cola note with cherry sweetness
  • Strawberry Watermelon: a sweet summer fruit blend

We list each flavour as its own pod because the flavour is fixed inside the sealed pod. If Mr Blue turns out not to suit you, the cost of finding out is one pod, so a lower-risk approach is to start with a single pod before you stock up.

Performance and Puff Delivery

The headline figure is the rated puff count of around 6,000 per pod. That number comes from the manufacturer's standard test, in which a machine takes short, evenly spaced draws of a fixed duration and volume. People do not vape like machines. Long, slow draws use more liquid than short ones, and chain vaping burns through the pod faster than occasional use. A sensible expectation is that a typical user will get somewhere in the neighbourhood of the rated figure, with a spread either side. Heavy users will land below it, and light users who take short, gentle puffs may land above it.

To make that more practical, think in days rather than puffs. Many adults who use a pod system as their main replacement for cigarettes take a few hundred puffs a day. At 300 puffs a day, 6,000 puffs lasts about 20 days. At 150 puffs a day, it lasts about 40 days. At 600 puffs a day, which is heavy use, it lasts about 10 days. These are illustrations, not promises, but they show why a high-capacity pod can suit someone who does not want to change pods every few days.

Vapour production is moderate to generous for a pod device. The mesh coil heats a large surface area of the wick, which tends to produce an even, smooth cloud without the harshness you can get from a small single-wire coil. Throat hit comes mostly from the nicotine strength rather than from the hardware. At 20mg/ml in a nicotine salt formulation the hit is firm but not sharp, which is the reason salts became the standard for pod products.

  • Draw style: works best as a mouth-to-lung draw, meaning you draw into the mouth first, then inhale
  • Activation: draw-activated, with no button to hold
  • Consistency: flavour and vapour should stay steady through most of the pod
  • Ramp-up: the first draw after a long rest may feel slightly dry while the wick re-wets

One honest caution is that very long chain sessions can heat the coil faster than the wick can resupply liquid, which is when a pod starts to taste toasty. Pausing for a few seconds between draws avoids this. Pods that are used gently tend to taste better for longer and last longer too.

Pod Design and Build Quality

The pod is a sealed plastic housing that holds the liquid reservoir around a central airflow channel. The mouthpiece is part of the pod, so every new pod gives you a clean mouthpiece, which is a small hygiene advantage over refillable tanks that you reuse for months. At the base there are electrical contacts and an air inlet. Both need to be clear of dust and fluff for the device to recognise the pod and to draw smoothly.

Because the pod holds enough liquid for around 6,000 puffs, it is larger than the small pods found in entry-level kits. That size has a few practical consequences. It adds weight to the device, it takes up more pocket space, and the larger liquid volume means the pod can feel full and slightly heavy in the hand. In return you spend far less time changing pods. Whether that is a good trade depends on your habits, and a vaper who keeps the device in a jacket pocket will not mind, while one who wants a slim device in a trouser pocket might.

Fit and finish is generally consistent across prefilled pods of this type. A pod should click into the device with firm resistance and a clear seat, with no wobble. If it feels loose, remove it and refit it before you assume there is a fault. The pod walls are translucent on many pods in this class so you can see the liquid level, which is useful for knowing when the pod is nearly empty and when to carry a spare.

  • Material: plastic housing with an integrated mouthpiece
  • Liquid window: lets you check the remaining e-liquid at a glance
  • Seal: pods ship sealed, and you should only open the packaging when you are ready to fit
  • Leak risk: low if stored upright, higher if left in a hot car or squeezed in a bag

Treat the pod like any sealed liquid container. Do not squeeze it, do not leave it in direct sun or a hot car, and keep it away from children and pets. Nicotine e-liquid is harmful if swallowed or if it gets on the skin or in the eyes, so wash any spills off with water straight away.

Battery and Charging

The pod itself has no battery. Power comes from the Cyberover device, which contains a rechargeable lithium-ion cell. Devices in this class typically carry a battery in the region of several hundred milliamp hours, and the exact capacity is stated in the device's own listing and manual rather than on the pod. For planning purposes the useful point is that the device battery is normally sized so that it can see you through a full day of moderate use between charges, and that it will need recharging more than once over the life of a single 6K pod.

This is worth understanding properly, because it changes how you think about running costs. A 6,000-puff pod can outlast the charge cycles of several days, so you will charge the device repeatedly while the same pod stays in place. That is a different experience from a single-use vape, where the battery and the liquid are sized to run out together. With a pod system the battery is a long-term part of the device, and the liquid is the part that you replace.

  • Charging port: modern pod devices of this type charge over USB-C, so check your cable
  • Charger choice: use a reputable low-power USB charger or a computer port, and avoid unknown cheap adaptors
  • Charge time: usually a short top-up window, and the manual gives the exact figure
  • While charging: do not leave the device unattended or charging overnight on a soft surface

Lithium cells deserve a few sensible habits. Do not leave the device in a hot car, do not puncture or crush it, and stop using it if it swells, smells odd, or gets unusually hot. Keep it out of a pocket with keys or coins, which can short the contacts. Over a long period, a battery that is kept between roughly 20 and 80 percent charge tends to age more slowly than one that is repeatedly run flat and filled to the top, though this is a small effect and not worth stressing about.

When the device finally reaches the end of its life, it is a waste electrical item and must not go in the household bin. See the disposal guidance later in this page for UK drop-off options.

Mesh Coil Technology

Inside each pod is a mesh coil, which is a flat strip or small cylinder of fine metal mesh instead of a wound wire. Mesh coils have become common in modern pod systems because they offer a few useful advantages over traditional round-wire coils. The large surface area heats the liquid evenly, which supports consistent flavour. The structure also tends to warm up quickly, so the first draw is not noticeably delayed, and it makes better use of the cotton wick behind it.

Resistance values for mesh coils in pods of this class are commonly in the region of one ohm or a little under, though the exact value is not normally printed on prefilled pods, because the device and pod are designed as a pair. At those values the device delivers modest power, which is why this type of product tends to feel like a tight, cigarette-like draw rather than a large open cloud. That is useful for new vapers, because a restricted mouth-to-lung draw is closer to the feel of smoking.

Because the coil is inside a sealed pod, there are no coil-priming instructions for you to follow beyond a short wait after fitting. The wick comes pre-saturated, and a minute or so lets the liquid reach the mesh. If you vape straight away on a dry coil, you can get a burnt taste that can mark the wick for the rest of the pod. This is the most common avoidable mistake with new pods, and it is easy to prevent.

  • Coil type: mesh, pre-installed and non-replaceable
  • Lifespan: designed to last as long as the liquid, which is roughly the rated 6,000 puffs
  • Failure signs: burnt taste, muted flavour or a pod that stops producing vapour
  • Fix for failure: replace the pod, as the coil cannot be serviced

Mesh also handles nicotine salt liquids well. Salts are designed for lower-power devices, and a mesh coil at modest wattage vaporises them smoothly without the harshness that a high-power setup would add. The practical result is that the hardware and the liquid are matched, and you get a predictable experience from the first puff to the last.

Nicotine Strength Guidance and UK Limits

In the UK, e-liquid and pods that contain nicotine are limited to a maximum strength of 20mg/ml, which is 2 percent. Some other markets allow strengths up to 50mg/ml, or 5 percent, which is why you may see higher numbers on overseas packaging or in online videos. Those higher strengths are not permitted for UK sale, and a UK retailer should only list products within the legal limit. Always read the strength printed on the pack and on the variant you select, since a listing can offer more than one strength.

Choosing a strength is mostly about how much you smoked and how you want to vape. As a rough starting point, many adults who smoke around ten or more cigarettes a day find that 20mg/ml feels closest to what they are used to. Someone who smokes less, or who is already vaping at a lower strength, may prefer something in the 10mg/ml range, since a lower figure is gentler and lets you take more draws without feeling light-headed. If the pod you want is only available at 20mg/ml, a lower-strength pod is simply not an option for this product, and you can moderate your intake by taking fewer and shorter draws.

  • 20mg/ml (2%): the UK maximum, aimed at heavier smokers who want a firm hit
  • 10mg/ml (1%): a middle option for lighter smokers, if available
  • Lower strengths: for people reducing their nicotine over time
  • 0mg/ml: nicotine-free, for people who only want the flavour and habit

Nicotine salt formulations behave differently from the freebase liquids used in older refillable tanks. Salts allow a smoother throat hit at a given strength, so 20mg/ml in salt form feels gentler than 20mg/ml in freebase. This is why high-strength salt pods can feel easier to use than their number suggests. It also means you can take in more nicotine without noticing, so keep an eye on how many puffs you take.

Signs that your strength is too high include dizziness, nausea, a racing heart or a headache after a few puffs. If that happens, stop, drink some water and consider a lower strength. If you find yourself vaping constantly without feeling satisfied, the strength may be too low for your needs. Most people settle within a week or two. If you are using vaping to quit smoking, local stop smoking services in the UK can offer free support and advice on strength.

Who Mr Blue Pods Suit and Who Should Skip Them

These pods are best matched to a clear group of buyers, so it is worth being direct about who they suit and who they do not.

They suit you if you are:

  • An adult smoker who wants a straightforward replacement that needs no refilling or coil changes.
  • An existing vaper who dislikes changing small pods every few days and wants a longer-lasting cartridge.
  • Someone who enjoys sweet fruit flavours rather than tobacco or dessert profiles.
  • A person who values a tight mouth-to-lung draw similar to a cigarette.
  • Someone who wants a low-maintenance device they can carry in a pocket or bag.

You should look elsewhere if you:

  • Have never smoked or vaped. Nicotine is addictive, and there is no health benefit to starting.
  • Are under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine vaping products to anyone under 18 in the UK.
  • Prefer to mix and swap flavours often. A sealed pod locks you into one flavour for several weeks.
  • Want a big, airy direct-to-lung cloud. This is a restricted-draw pod system.
  • Watch your costs closely and have no objection to refilling. A refillable kit with bottled liquid is normally cheaper per millilitre over the long run.
  • Dislike fruit sweetness. If you prefer tobacco, menthol or creamy profiles, pick a different pod.

There is also a middle group worth naming. If you are a heavy vaper who wants strong, long-lasting performance, the 6K pod will suit you well, but it will not make a good starter pod if you are unsure about the flavour. A sensible approach is to try a smaller pack of a flavour you know you like, or to buy one Mr Blue pod first, before you commit to several.

Finally, if you are using vaping to quit smoking, the aim should be to stop smoking completely rather than to do both. Switching fully is where the harm reduction case comes from, and mixing cigarettes with vaping gives far less benefit. If you want to stop nicotine altogether eventually, step down the strength over time.

How to Fit, Activate and Use the Pod

Using a prefilled pod is straightforward, and a few small habits make the difference between a good first experience and a frustrating one.

  • Step 1, check the device: make sure your Cyberover has enough charge. A nearly flat battery can make a good pod seem weak.
  • Step 2, unpack the pod: remove it from the packaging and take off any protective cap, seal or film that covers the mouthpiece or base.
  • Step 3, seat the pod: push it into the device until it clicks. It should sit flush and feel firm.
  • Step 4, wait: leave it upright for about a minute so the liquid reaches the coil.
  • Step 5, take a gentle first draw: start with a couple of short puffs rather than a long pull.
  • Step 6, vape normally: the device is draw-activated, so there is no button to press.

Technique matters more than people expect. A slow, medium-length draw of two to four seconds gives the best flavour and the most consistent vapour. Very long draws can overheat the coil and shorten pod life. Short, sharp draws can feel weak because the coil has not had time to reach the right temperature. Take your time between puffs when you are vaping a lot.

Storage and carrying. Keep spare pods in their packaging, upright where possible, at room temperature and away from sunlight. Do not leave pods in a hot car, because heat thins the liquid and can cause leaking. When you change pods, wipe the contacts on the device with a dry cloth or cotton bud if they look dirty. Never use water on the contacts.

Disposal and recycling. Used pods contain residual liquid and are electrical waste, so they should not go in your household bin or ordinary recycling. In the UK, retailers that sell vape products are generally expected to offer take-back for used vapes, and most household waste recycling centres have a small electricals or vape container. Look for drop-off points near you through your local council website. The Cyberover device itself contains a lithium battery and must also be recycled through an electrical waste route, never thrown in the general bin, because damaged lithium cells can start fires in bin lorries and recycling plants.

Troubleshooting Common Problems

Most problems with a prefilled pod have simple causes. Work through the likely ones before you decide the pod is faulty.

  • The device does not recognise the pod: remove the pod and refit it firmly. Check that any protective film is off the base and wipe the contacts with a dry cloth. Try the pod in another Cyberover if you have one, which helps tell whether the pod or the device is at fault.
  • No vapour or a dry, empty draw: the wick may not be wet yet. Leave the pod upright for a minute or two and take a few gentle draws. If the liquid window shows plenty of liquid but nothing comes out, the pod may be faulty.
  • Burnt or toasty taste: usually caused by chain vaping or a dry first draw. Pause between puffs. If the taste stays after a rest, the coil may be damaged, and the pod should be replaced.
  • Weak or muted flavour: this can be caused by a low battery, a pod that is almost empty, or vaping too fast. Charge the device, slow the pace and check the liquid level.
  • Gurgling or spitting: a little condensation in the airway is normal. Remove the pod and gently blow through the mouthpiece, or wipe the mouthpiece clean.
  • Leaking: check that the pod is seated properly and has not been left in heat. Wipe the device, because leaked liquid can interfere with the contacts. Replace a pod that continues to leak.
  • Device will not charge: try another cable and another charging source, and check the port for fluff using a wooden toothpick.
  • Device gets warm: a small amount of warmth is normal while charging or in heavy use. If it gets hot to the touch, unplug it and stop using it.

If none of this helps, keep the pod, the packaging and any batch information, and get in touch with the retailer. A report that includes the flavour, the symptoms and the order number allows a quicker resolution. Do not attempt to open the pod or the device, because the contents are harmful and the battery is not user-serviceable.

Value for Money and How It Compares

Value is easiest to judge by cost per puff and cost per week, rather than by sticker price alone. As an illustration only, imagine a pod priced at ten pounds and rated at 6,000 puffs. That works out to a fraction of a penny per puff. Compare it with a small closed pod priced at five pounds and rated at 600 puffs, which costs roughly five times as much per puff. These figures are examples, not our prices, so check the current price on the listing and do the sum yourself. The principle holds, though, which is that high-capacity pods tend to cost less per puff than small ones, even though the price per pod is higher.

Real-world value also depends on the rated life being roughly achievable. A pod that delivers only half its rated puffs still works out well compared with small pods, but not as dramatically. The more gently you vape, the closer you will get to the headline figure.

Here is how this pod compares fairly with other common options:

  • Versus small closed pods such as Vuse ePod or Lost Mary Tappo style cartridges: these are smaller and lighter, and their pods hold less liquid, so you change them more often. They have a mature range and are widely available. The Cyberover pod is bulkier but lasts longer per change.
  • Versus refillable pod kits such as Vaporesso XROS or SMOK Novo style devices: refillable kits almost always cost less to run over a year, and give you a vast range of bottled flavours. In exchange you handle liquid, risk leaks, and replace coils. A prefilled pod trades lower running cost for convenience.
  • Versus high-puff single-use vapes such as Elf Bar, Geek Bar or Lost Mary styles: in the UK, single-use vapes were banned from June 2025, so these are no longer a real option to compare against in the same way. A rechargeable device with swappable pods is designed around reuse, which also means far less waste.
  • Versus other Elux products: if you prefer a different format, Elux also sells other devices, and the right choice depends on size, flavour range and how often you want to change pods.

On balance, this pod offers sound value for adults who want convenience and a long run time per pod, and who do not want to refill. It is not the cheapest way to vape, since a bottle and a refillable kit will usually be cheaper, and it is not the smallest option. If you are happy with sealed pods and like the flavour, the per-puff cost is competitive for a pod system. As always, the best way to judge is to buy one pod, track how many days it lasts, and work out your own weekly cost.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Zero-mess flavour change — snap in, done
  • Consistent draw from a factory-primed coil
  • Long shelf-life, easy to travel with

Cons

  • Costs more per ml than freestanding e-liquid
  • Pods are proprietary to a specific device

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose?

The UK maximum for nicotine-containing e-liquid is 20mg/ml (2%), and that suits many adults who smoked around ten or more cigarettes a day. Lighter smokers often prefer around 10mg/ml where it is available. Check the strength printed on the pack and on the variant you select, because a listing can offer more than one.

How do I charge the Cyberover, and how long does it take?

The pod has no battery, so you charge the Cyberover device itself, normally through a USB-C port using a standard cable and a reputable low-power charger. The exact charge time is in the device manual. Do not leave it charging unattended or overnight on a soft surface, and stop using it if it swells or becomes very hot.

Can I swap flavours, and will these pods fit other devices?

Each pod is sealed with one flavour, so to change flavour you fit a different pod. The Mr Blue pod is designed for the Elux Cyberover device and should not be expected to fit other brands. You can remove and refit pods in the same device as often as you like, but keep a partly used pod upright and capped if the packaging allows.

How long does one pod last?

The rated life is around 6,000 puffs, which is a manufacturer's test figure. A typical user might get about 20 days at 300 puffs a day, longer if you vape lightly and shorter if you chain vape. Long draws and heavy sessions use the liquid faster, so your own result may be above or below the rating.

Is a 6K pod good value for money?

High-capacity pods generally cost less per puff than small closed pods, even though each pod costs more up front. A refillable kit with bottled liquid is usually cheaper again over a year, but it needs more handling and maintenance. The best test is to track how many days your first pod lasts and work out your weekly cost.

Who should buy this, and who should not?

It suits adult smokers and existing vapers who want a sealed, low-maintenance pod and like sweet fruit flavours. It is not for non-smokers, anyone under 18, or anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. If you want to change flavours often or keep costs as low as possible, a refillable kit may suit you better.

Do you deliver to the UK, and do I need to prove my age?

We ship to UK addresses, and you must be 18 or over to buy nicotine products. Age checks may apply at checkout or on delivery, so someone over 18 should be available to receive the parcel. Current delivery options and cut-off times are shown at checkout and on our delivery information page.

What is the warranty and returns position?

Pods are sealed consumables, so for hygiene and age-restricted goods reasons, returns are generally limited to unopened items in original condition. If a pod arrives damaged, leaks or is clearly faulty, contact us promptly with your order number and photos so we can look into it. Our returns page sets out the exact terms.

How should I dispose of used pods and the device?

Used pods and devices count as electrical waste and must not go in the household bin or normal recycling. Take them to a retailer that offers vape take-back or to a household waste recycling centre with an electricals or vape container. Your local council website lists nearby drop-off points.

Why does my new pod taste burnt or give a dry hit?

This usually happens when the first draw is taken before the wick is fully wet. Leave the pod upright for a minute after fitting, take gentle first puffs and pause between draws during long sessions. If the taste persists after resting, the coil may be damaged and the pod should be replaced.

Best one I've tried this year

Arrived well-packaged with next-day delivery. Taste is clean and authentic. Nothing to complain about.

Multibuy deal was a bargain

Flavour holds up all the way through. Some brands get weaker after a few days but this stays consistent.

Would buy again

My partner tried this and now we've both switched. Smooth hit, proper flavour, fair price.

My new daily

Cracking flavour, honestly. Been through a few of these already. Can't fault it at the price.

No leaks, no issues

Honestly, I was unsure at first but this has been great. Flavour is strong and lasts the full session. No complaints at all.
