Hayati Liora Lemon and Lime (Silver) pods: what you are buying

The Hayati Liora Prefilled Vape Pods in Lemon and Lime (Silver) are sealed, replaceable pods made for the Hayati Liora rechargeable pod device. The idea behind a pod system is simple. You keep one battery body, recharge it from a USB cable, and click in a fresh prefilled pod whenever the previous one runs dry. Nothing needs to be poured, nothing needs to be primed with a syringe, and there is no loose bottle of liquid to leak in a bag. This page explains how the Lemon and Lime pod behaves in daily use, who it suits, how it compares with other pod systems sold in the UK, and what to check before you order.

The flavour is a straightforward citrus pairing. Lemon provides the sharp, slightly sour front end, and lime sits behind it with a greener, more bitter-peel note. The Silver tag in the product name marks the finish option for this listing. Where more than one finish is offered, the liquid inside is the same Lemon and Lime recipe, so the colour is a cosmetic choice rather than a change in taste or performance.

Because this is a prefilled pod rather than a bottle of e-liquid, the specification is fixed at the factory. Under UK rules a pod or tank can hold no more than 2ml of liquid, and nicotine strength is capped at 20mg/ml. Pods in this category are built to sit at or inside those limits, so you can expect a 2ml fill and a nicotine salt formulation at the standard UK maximum or below. The exact strength printed on the pack you receive is the figure to trust, so read it before you fit the pod.

  • Format: prefilled, sealed pod, no refilling required
  • Flavour: Lemon and Lime, a sharp citrus profile
  • Typical fill: up to 2ml per pod, the UK maximum
  • Typical nicotine type: nicotine salt, for a smoother throat feel at low wattage
  • Compatible device: Hayati Liora pod battery
  • Age restriction: 18+ only, ID may be requested on delivery

If you are moving across from a single-use vape, this is the closest like-for-like swap. The sale of single-use disposable vapes was banned across England, Scotland and Wales from 1 June 2025, and a pod system gives you the same grab-and-go convenience without throwing a lithium battery away every few days.

Puff delivery and how long one pod lasts

Puff counts on vape packaging are estimates, not guarantees, and it is worth being clear about that before comparing products. A 2ml pod filled with nicotine salt liquid and paired with a low-wattage mesh or ceramic coil typically delivers in the region of 500 to 700 puffs when vaped at a steady, moderate pace. That figure is a planning estimate based on how pods of this size usually behave, and your own result can land above or below it.

Three habits change the number more than anything else. The first is puff length. A short two-second draw uses far less liquid than a long five-second pull, so a person who sips lightly can stretch a pod over several days, while a person who inhales deeply and often may finish the same pod in under two. The second is chain vaping. Taking ten puffs back to back heats the coil continuously and burns through liquid faster than the same ten puffs spread across an hour. The third is the airflow setting, where the device offers one: a tighter, restricted draw uses less liquid per puff than an open, airy one.

To give the estimate some real-world shape, here is how it tends to translate into days:

  • Light use (a few sessions a day, around 50 to 100 puffs): a pod can last a week or slightly longer
  • Moderate use (around 150 to 250 puffs a day): expect about three to four days
  • Heavy use (300 or more puffs a day): often under two days per pod

Throat hit and vapour volume stay fairly consistent through most of the pod, then taper off as the cotton wick dries. A warm, slightly harsh or burnt taste in the last few puffs is the signal that the liquid is nearly gone, and it is better to swap the pod at that point than to push on. Dry-hitting an empty pod can scorch the coil and leave a lingering burnt note that colours the next pod you fit.

Do not judge the pod on the first three or four puffs. A freshly fitted pod needs a short settling period while the cotton absorbs liquid evenly, and the very first draws can feel thin or slightly dry. Details on that are in the usage section further down.

Flavour profile: sharp lemon with a green lime finish

Lemon and lime is one of the oldest pairings in soft drinks and confectionery, and it translates well into vape liquid because both fruits are naturally acidic and aromatic. In this pod, lemon leads. On the inhale you get a bright, zesty sourness closer to lemon peel than to sweet lemonade, and it lands on the front of the tongue. The lime follows a beat later, adding a slightly bitter, green, almost herbal edge that stops the flavour from tasting like a single flat citrus note.

On the exhale the profile softens. Most of the sharpness drops away and a light, sweetened citrus aftertaste remains, similar to the lingering taste of a lemon and lime boiled sweet. There is no cooling menthol layer, so this is a flavour you taste rather than feel. If you want an icy hit, you would look at a pod labelled with ice or menthol instead. Lemon and Lime here is a clean fruit flavour with a modest sweetener to take the edge off the acidity.

The sweetness level sits in the middle of the range. It is not syrupy in the way dessert flavours can be, which matters for two reasons. A less sweet liquid tends to leave less residue on the coil, and it is easier to vape for longer sessions without palate fatigue. People who find heavily sweetened fruit pods cloying often settle better with a sharper citrus like this one.

A few practical notes on how the flavour behaves:

  • Early in the pod: the citrus is at its crispest, with clear separation between lemon and lime
  • Mid pod: the flavours blend into a more rounded lemon-lime impression
  • End of pod: flavour dulls and warms as the wick dries, which is your cue to swap
  • Between pods: if you switch from a strongly sweet or menthol pod, your palate may need a few minutes before the lemon reads clearly

Citrus flavours do tend to slightly raise the perceived harshness of a vape on the throat, since acidity and nicotine both register in the same area. If you find the first few sessions a little sharp, that is normal, and choosing a lower nicotine strength usually smooths it out. Our nicotine guidance section covers this in more detail.

Design and build quality of the pod and Silver finish

A prefilled pod is a small component, but its construction affects leaks, flavour and the feel of the draw. Pods of this type are made from a rigid clear or tinted plastic shell with a transparent window so you can see the liquid level. That visible window is more useful than it sounds, because it lets you plan a swap before the pod runs dry rather than finding out from a burnt taste.

The mouthpiece is moulded into the pod and is typically a slim, rounded oval that sits comfortably between the lips. Because it is part of the pod, you get a fresh mouthpiece every time you change flavour or replace an empty pod, which is a hygiene advantage over a device with a permanent drip tip. The base of the pod holds the coil and the electrical contacts, which meet the battery body when you click it in. Good contact matters here. If the metal pins are misaligned, dirty or bent, the device will not fire reliably, and that is the cause of many reported faults that are actually a seating problem.

The Silver finish listed in the product name is a cosmetic option. A metallic silver tone tends to look neutral and fits in with most pockets, desks and bags, and it hides light fingerprints better than gloss black. Metallic painted surfaces can still pick up minor scuffs from keys and coins, so a pocket without sharp objects keeps the finish looking tidy for longer.

A few build points worth knowing before you buy:

  • Click-in fit: the pod should seat with a firm, definite click and no rocking
  • Leak resistance: sealed pods are filled at the factory, so a pod that arrives wet on the outside is a reason to contact support, not a normal occurrence
  • Airflow channel: keep it clear of lint, since a blocked channel causes a tight or silent draw
  • Transport: store pods upright where you can, because tipping them on their side for long periods increases the chance of liquid reaching the airflow path

Build quality in this segment is functional rather than premium. You are paying for a consumable, and the engineering goal is a dependable seal, a clean draw and consistent coil contact. Treat the pods gently, keep the contacts dry and they should perform as intended.

Battery and charging with the Hayati Liora device

The pod does not contain a battery. Power comes from the Hayati Liora battery body that the pod clicks into, so battery life and charging speed depend on the device you pair it with. Rechargeable pod batteries in this class commonly fall somewhere between 400mAh and 800mAh, charged through a USB port, and the exact capacity for your device is listed in its own specification table. We do not state a mAh figure for the pod itself because it would be misleading to attribute a number to the wrong component.

In practical terms, a battery in that range is usually enough to run through one full pod at moderate use before needing a top-up, and many people charge overnight so the device is full each morning. Heavy users should expect to charge once a day. Because the battery is rechargeable and long-lived, the environmental and cost picture is better than a single-use vape, where the cell is binned along with the plastic.

Good charging habits protect the battery and keep it safe:

  • Use a reputable cable and plug: a standard phone charger of 5V is appropriate, so avoid unbranded fast chargers with unclear output
  • Do not leave it charging unattended for long periods: overnight on a hard, non-flammable surface is common practice, but never under a pillow or on a sofa
  • Avoid heat: do not charge or store the device in direct sunlight, in a hot car or next to a radiator
  • Unplug when full: most devices show a charge indicator light that changes colour or turns off at full charge
  • Stop using damaged batteries: a swollen, hot or visibly damaged battery body should be taken out of use and recycled

If the device does not appear to charge, check the cable first, then try a different socket or USB port. A dirty charging port can also interrupt contact, so a gentle clean with a dry wooden toothpick (never metal) can restore a connection.

When the battery finally reaches the end of its life, which for a rechargeable body is typically after many months of regular use, do not put it in household rubbish or general recycling. Lithium cells can start fires in waste vehicles and sorting plants. Use the disposal route described in the value section below.

Coil and mesh technology inside the pod

The coil is the heating element that turns liquid into vapour, and it is built into the base of each prefilled pod. That is one of the main benefits of the format: every time you replace the pod you also replace the coil, so you never need to rebuild it or work out when it has worn out. A coil that has been used for a long time can taste burnt or muted, and the prefilled format removes that guesswork.

Modern pods use one of two common coil types. Mesh coils use a thin sheet of woven metal that heats across a wide surface, which tends to give even heating, a more consistent flavour and quicker ramp-up. Ceramic coils use a porous ceramic core that resists burnt tastes and holds up well with salt-based liquids. Both approaches suit nicotine salt liquid at low power, and either produces a more efficient vapour than the older single-wire coils. The coil resistance for a pod aimed at nicotine salts is usually in the low ohm range, matched to the output of the battery body so the heating stays controlled.

What this means for the Lemon and Lime flavour in practice:

  • Clean flavour delivery: an even coil temperature helps the lemon and lime stay distinct rather than turning into a generic sour note
  • Low operating temperature: citrus compounds can turn harsh if overheated, so a modest wattage works in the flavour's favour
  • Fast response: the draw-activated firing starts heating the moment you inhale, with no button to hold in the standard setup
  • Consistent wicking: the cotton feeds liquid evenly to the coil, which reduces spitting and gurgling as long as you do not chain-vape too hard

Where wicking is concerned, the one habit that matters is not firing the device when the pod is nearly empty. A coil firing against dry cotton scorches it, and a scorched coil cannot be restored. If the taste turns acrid or papery, stop and replace the pod rather than hoping it clears.

The coil technology is the reason prefilled pods are easier to live with than rebuildable tanks. You trade away some flexibility, since you cannot change the coil or pick your own liquid, but you gain predictability and a spotless vaping experience.

Nicotine strength guidance for UK vapers

UK rules cap nicotine in e-liquid at 20mg/ml, which is the same as 2% by volume. That ceiling applies across disposables, pods and bottled liquid, and it exists to limit how much nicotine is delivered per puff. Pods made for the UK market are therefore filled at or below 20mg/ml, and you should read the strength printed on the pack you receive to see exactly which one you have.

Choosing a strength comes down to how much you smoked before and how often you vape now. As a rough guide:

  • 20mg/ml (2%): the strongest legal level. It suits people moving from a pack-a-day smoking habit, or those who found lower strengths left cravings unsatisfied
  • 10mg to 12mg/ml: a middle option for lighter smokers or those cutting down, and often easier on the throat with a sharp flavour like citrus
  • 5mg to 6mg/ml: suited to occasional vapers or people who have already reduced their intake and want a gentler experience
  • 0mg: nicotine-free, for people who enjoy the flavour and the habit but want no nicotine at all

Which strengths are actually stocked for this specific pod depends on the listing and on current stock, so check the variant selector on the page. If only one strength is offered, it will be named on the product.

Nicotine salts are smoother than the freebase nicotine used in older liquids, so a 20mg salt pod does not feel as harsh as a 20mg freebase liquid would, even though the nicotine content is the same. Because it absorbs quickly, it can still be too strong for a new vaper. A first-time user who has never smoked should not start vaping to begin with, and a person who has never used nicotine should not take it up. Vaping is intended as a lower-risk alternative for adults who already smoke, not as a product for non-smokers or anyone under 18.

Signs that your strength is too high include dizziness, nausea, a racing heart or a persistent sore throat. If you notice these, stop, drink water, and move to a lower strength. Signs it is too low include constant puffing, cravings returning within an hour and a feeling that the vape never quite satisfies. Adjust in small steps rather than jumping straight to the top or the bottom of the range, and ask a local stop-smoking service if you want support while you change over. The NHS offers free help for adults trying to quit.

Who these pods suit, and who should skip them

These pods are designed for adult smokers and existing vapers who want a tidy, low-effort system with a bright, sharp citrus flavour. A few types of buyer are especially well served.

  • Ex-disposable vapers: since single-use vapes were banned in Great Britain from 1 June 2025, a pod system is the nearest alternative, with similar convenience and less waste
  • Adults switching from cigarettes: a 20mg salt pod gives a throat feel and nicotine delivery that many smokers find more familiar than low-strength freebase vapes
  • People who dislike sweet vapes: a lemon and lime flavour is sharp and clean rather than dessert-like
  • Anyone who wants no maintenance: no coils to change, no tank to refill, no liquid to spill
  • Light and occasional vapers: a sealed pod stays fresh for a while, and the compact body fits easily in a pocket

There are also people who should think twice, and it is better to say so plainly.

  • Anyone under 18: it is illegal to sell nicotine vapes to under-18s in the UK, and age verification may be requested at delivery
  • Non-smokers: nicotine is addictive, and there is no health case for starting
  • People who are pregnant or have heart conditions: speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products
  • Heavy vapers who want huge clouds: a small pod system is built around efficiency rather than vapour volume, so a larger sub-ohm kit may suit better
  • People who want to mix their own liquid: prefilled pods cannot be refilled or changed to other liquids
  • Anyone who wants the cheapest running cost possible: bottled liquid in a refillable kit can cost less per millilitre over time

It is also fair to flag that a tart, citrus profile will not suit everybody. If you prefer creamy, bakery or very sweet flavours, you may find lemon and lime too thin and acidic. In that case, one of the other Hayati pod flavours or a fruit blend with more sweetness may be a better match.

How to fit and use the pod

Fitting a prefilled pod takes under a minute and needs no tools. Follow the steps below, and read the instructions in the pack as well, since small differences between device generations can matter.

  • Step 1, charge the device: make sure the Hayati Liora battery has some charge. A full battery avoids confusion if the device seems unresponsive
  • Step 2, check the pod: remove the pod from its packaging and look for any visible damage, then remove any protective cap or seal from the mouthpiece and the base
  • Step 3, click it in: line the pod up with the opening on the battery body and push down until it seats with a firm click. It should not wobble
  • Step 4, let it settle: wait around three to five minutes. The cotton needs time to absorb liquid, and skipping this causes dry, weak first puffs
  • Step 5, take a few gentle draws: take two or three short, soft puffs to start the wicking process, then move to your normal pace
  • Step 6, vape at a steady pace: draw slowly for two to three seconds and pause between puffs to let the coil cool and re-wet

Using the device in everyday life is mostly a matter of care. Keep it upright when you can, store it somewhere dry and away from heat, and carry it in a pocket without keys, coins or loose tobacco that could jam the pod seat. If you share it, remember the mouthpiece is not sanitary for other people, so keep it to yourself.

To replace an empty pod, pull it straight out of the battery body, taking care not to twist. Do not try to refill it: the pod is sealed, and tampering can damage the coil, cause leaks or void any warranty. Dispose of used pods through an electrical waste route as explained in the value section, since they contain a small coil and residual liquid. Fit the new pod as above, and remember the settling time even if you are in a hurry.

For safe use, never use a damaged battery, never mix and match chargers of unknown output, and keep both the device and the pods out of reach of children and pets. Nicotine liquid is harmful if swallowed, and a leaking pod should be wiped up with a paper towel and washed from skin with soap and water.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most pod faults come down to seating, wicking or battery state, and almost all of them can be solved at home in a minute or two. Work through these before you contact support.

  • The device will not fire: remove the pod and re-seat it firmly. Check that the metal contacts are clean and dry. If there is liquid on them, wipe them with a dry tissue. Make sure the battery has charge, since a flat battery sometimes does not show an obvious indicator
  • The draw is tight or silent: look for a blocked airflow channel. Remove the pod, check for lint or condensation, and try again. Condensation can build up after a long session and a few gentle puffs often clears it
  • Weak flavour from a new pod: you may not have let it settle. Leave it for a few minutes and take a few gentle puffs. If the weakness continues, the previous pod may have left a residue in your palate, so rinse your mouth with water
  • Burnt or acrid taste: usually a sign the pod is nearly empty or has been chain-vaped. Replace it. Continued use of a dry coil only makes the taste worse
  • Gurgling or spitting: liquid may be pooling in the airflow path. Wipe the mouthpiece, hold the device upright for a minute, and take softer puffs
  • Leaking: small amounts of condensation are normal, but visible liquid running from the pod is not. Wipe the device, wash your hands, and report a pod that arrived leaking so it can be replaced
  • The light flashes or the device cuts out: flashing indicators commonly signal low battery, a short circuit or a poor pod connection. Recharge and re-seat the pod, and if the pattern persists, try a second pod to see whether the fault is in the device or the pod
  • Battery will not hold charge: a battery that drains within an hour is likely at the end of its life and should be replaced and recycled

A simple way to isolate the issue is to swap one component at a time. Try another pod in the same device, then the same pod in another Liora device if you have access to one. If the fault follows the pod, it is the pod. If it follows the device, it is the battery body.

If none of that works, keep your order number and a clear photo of the problem ready. We deal with faulty items under standard consumer rights, and the returns information in the FAQ below explains how to proceed.

Value for money and responsible disposal

Judging value on a prefilled pod means looking at cost per day rather than the price on the box. Pods are sold in packs, typically of two, so the number you divide by is the number of days each pod lasts for you. A moderate user getting three to four days from a pod will find a two-pack covers roughly a week to ten days. Heavy use shortens that, and light use stretches it, so the same product can cost very different amounts for two different people.

Here are the points that tend to matter in the cost comparison:

  • Against single-use vapes: a rechargeable body plus replaceable pods generally works out cheaper over a few months than buying a new throwaway every few days, and there is no longer a legal option for single-use anyway
  • Against cigarettes: for most smokers, vaping costs noticeably less than the equivalent tobacco spend, though the saving depends on how heavily you smoked
  • Against refillable kits: a refillable tank and bottled liquid is usually cheaper per millilitre, but it asks more of you in setup, coil changes and cleaning
  • Multi-buy offers: buying several packs together can lower the per-pod cost, so check the basket for bundle pricing

Part of what you pay for with a prefilled pod is convenience and consistency. Each pod has a fresh coil, a fresh mouthpiece and a measured fill of liquid, so there is no chance of overfilling a tank or fitting a worn coil. For many people, that predictability is worth a modest premium.

Responsible disposal is part of the true cost. Vapes, pods and batteries are classed as waste electrical equipment, so they must not go in household bins or general recycling. In the UK you can take them to a drop-off point: most shops that sell vaping products are required to take back used items, many supermarkets and town centres have dedicated vape recycling bins, and household waste recycling centres accept small electricals. Before you drop off, remove the pod from the battery if you can, and keep leaking items in a sealed bag. Used pods contain traces of nicotine, so they should be kept away from children and pets until they are handed in.

How it compares with other pod systems

Plenty of pod systems are sold in the UK, and it is worth being honest about where this one fits and where others do better. The comparisons below are general and based on typical characteristics of each category, so always check current specifications on the individual product pages.

  • Hayati Liora against Vuse ePod style closed systems: Vuse pods are widely stocked in supermarkets and corner shops, which makes them easy to replace in a hurry. The Hayati range tends to offer a broader spread of fruit and sweet flavours, while Vuse-style pods stick to a narrower, more tobacco-oriented lineup. If shop availability matters most to you, the widely stocked brand has the advantage. If flavour choice matters more, Hayati has more to offer
  • Hayati Liora against SMOK Novo style pods: Novo pods are well established and cross-compatible with a large range of devices, giving plenty of third-party options. Their strength is that variety. Hayati pods are tied to their own device, which limits choice but keeps the experience simple and predictable
  • Hayati Liora against Aspire Vilter style kits: Vilter systems are slim and often popular with ex-smokers who like a small device. The Liora trades some of that slimness for a more consistent flavour range at the listed nicotine level. Which suits you depends on whether pocket size or flavour range matters more
  • Against refillable pod kits: refillable pod devices let you use your own liquid at lower running cost, but need regular coil changes and tidy handling. If you do not want to learn that routine, prefilled is easier
  • Against old single-use vapes: the performance is similar in terms of draw-activated convenience, but a pod system is rechargeable, replaceable and legal to buy, which single-use models no longer are

Where this pod is a fair choice: if you like sharp fruit, want a sealed system and are happy to commit to one device family, Lemon and Lime is a sensible pick. Where it is not: if you want to mix and match liquids, buy pods from any corner shop at a moment's notice, or run the lowest possible cost per millilitre, another category will serve you better.

The honest summary is that this is a straightforward, easy-to-use pod with a dependable citrus flavour, not a performance outlier. It does what it says and does not claim to do more. Compare nicotine strengths, pack sizes and current price before you commit, and use the FAQ below for the practical questions around delivery, returns and compatibility.

Frequently asked questions

What nicotine strength should I choose for the Lemon and Lime pods?

UK law caps nicotine at 20mg/ml, and the strengths actually available are shown in the variant selector on the product page. Smokers moving over from a pack-a-day habit usually start at the highest available strength, while lighter smokers and occasional vapers often prefer 10mg to 12mg or lower. Citrus flavours can feel sharper on the throat, so if the first few sessions are harsh, step down one strength.

How do I charge the device, and how long does it take?

The pod has no battery of its own, so you charge the Hayati Liora battery body using a USB cable and a standard 5V plug. Charge time depends on the battery capacity, but many pod devices in this class reach full charge in roughly an hour to two hours. Charge on a hard surface, do not leave it charging unattended for long periods, and stop using any battery that becomes hot or swollen.

Can I get other flavours, and can I swap pods between flavours?

Yes. The Hayati Liora range is sold in several flavours, and because pods click in and out of the same battery body you can change flavour whenever you finish or remove a pod. Take the old pod out, fit the new one, and give it a few minutes to settle. Rinse your mouth with water if the previous flavour was strong, so the lemon and lime reads clearly.

How long does one pod last?

A 2ml pod usually delivers around 500 to 700 puffs, which is an estimate rather than a guarantee. A light user may get a week or more from a pod, a moderate user around three to four days, and a heavy user under two. Long draws and chain vaping use liquid faster, so your own results will vary.

Is this good value compared with disposables or cigarettes?

Single-use vapes have been banned in Great Britain since 1 June 2025, so a rechargeable device with replaceable pods is the practical alternative, and it costs less over time than buying a new throwaway every few days. Compared with cigarettes, most smokers who fully switch spend noticeably less. Refillable kits with bottled liquid can be cheaper per millilitre, but need more effort.

Who should and should not buy these pods?

They suit adult smokers and existing vapers who want a sealed, low-maintenance system and like sharp citrus flavours. They are not for anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who are pregnant or have heart conditions without medical advice. They also do not suit anyone who wants to refill pods or mix their own liquid.

Will the pods be compatible with my current device?

These pods are made for the Hayati Liora battery body, so they will not fit other brands of pod device, and pods designed for other systems will not fit the Liora. If you are unsure which generation of Liora device you own, compare the pod shape and contacts with your existing pod or check the product page before you order.

How fast is delivery to the UK, and is age verification needed?

We deliver to UK addresses, and delivery times and options are shown at checkout. Because nicotine products are restricted to adults, you must be 18 or over to order, and the carrier may ask for proof of age on delivery. Orders may be refused or returned if age cannot be confirmed.

What happens if my pod arrives faulty or leaking?

Contact us with your order number and a clear photo as soon as you notice the problem. Faulty or damaged items are handled under standard UK consumer rights, which covers replacement or refund where the fault is confirmed. For hygiene and safety reasons, opened pods that are not faulty generally cannot be returned, so check the returns policy for the full detail.

How do I dispose of used pods and batteries?

Do not put them in household bins or general recycling, because they count as waste electrical equipment. Take them to a vape recycling bin, to a shop that sells vaping products (which must accept returns), or to a household waste recycling centre. Really nice taste

Delivery was super fast and the product is genuine. I've had fakes before so this was a relief.

Impressive value

Really nice flavour — not too sweet, not too harsh. Perfect in the middle. Second order already placed.
