IVG Pro 12 Zero Nicotine Pods: What You Are Buying

The Flavour IVG Pro 12 Zero Nicotine Prefilled Pods are replacement pods for the IVG Pro 12 system, made by IVG, a UK-born brand best known for thick, fruit-led e-liquid. They are listed here at £6.99 with a rating of up to 10,000 puffs. The word Flavour at the front of the title is the generic flavour option on this listing, which is why this page concentrates on the pod format and the zero nicotine line as a whole instead of pretending to describe one particular taste.

A prefilled pod is a sealed cartridge. The e-liquid goes in at the factory, the coil is already fitted, and the only part you touch is the mouthpiece. There is nothing to measure, nothing to pour and no bottle to carry about. You peel off the seal, click the pod into a compatible device and start vaping, then click the spent pod out and fit a fresh one when the time comes. For a lot of adult vapers that convenience is the whole point. The wider category of prefilled vape pods is built around exactly that idea, and this product follows the same formula.

Zero nicotine means the e-liquid in the pod has been made without nicotine. You still get the flavour, the vapour and the familiar routine of picking up a device and taking a draw. What is missing is the nicotine itself, along with the sharper throat hit that usually comes with it. This is a product for adults who already vape and would like a nicotine-free option. It is sold strictly to over 18s, and it is not intended for anyone who has never smoked or vaped.

Over the sections below we cover how the pod works, what the 10,000 puff figure can and cannot tell you, how to choose between flavour families, fitting and priming, compatibility, storage, honest pros and cons, troubleshooting, strengths and delivery. If you already know the maker, the full IVG range is worth a browse once you have finished here.

How These Pods Work Inside Your Device

Strip away the branding and a prefilled pod is three things working together: a reservoir of e-liquid, a coil wrapped around a wick, and a mouthpiece. The device supplies the power and the pod supplies everything else. When you draw on the mouthpiece, the battery in the device sends current to the coil, the coil heats the liquid held in the wick, and that liquid turns to the vapour you inhale. Most devices of this type are draw activated, so there is no button to hold down, but you should always follow the instructions that come with your own hardware.

The wick is the part that matters most to flavour. It is made from absorbent cotton or a similar material, and it has to be soaked through before the coil heats it. That is why every prefilled pod comes with the same advice to wait a minute after fitting. If the wick has not had time to saturate, the coil heats dry cotton and you get a harsh, burnt taste. The listing recommends waiting 60 seconds after clicking the pod in, and it is a habit worth keeping with every new pod you fit, however keen you are to get going.

Because the pod is sealed, the coil and the liquid are matched at the factory. That is the main trade-off compared with a refillable setup. You give up the freedom to choose your own liquid, but you gain consistency. Every pod from the same line should deliver a similar draw, and you never have to think about coil resistance, wicking or priming a coil with a dropper. Pods of this kind sit within the broader family of closed pod systems, where the pod is a sealed unit rather than something you open and top up.

A word on the zero nicotine part. Mechanically, a nicotine-free liquid behaves like any other. It heats, vaporises and tastes of whatever flavouring has been used. The difference you notice is in the sensation. Nicotine contributes a certain bite at the back of the throat, so a 0mg pod usually feels smoother and softer on the draw. Some adults like that, and some find it a little flat at first, which is why cooling and menthol notes are such popular choices in nicotine-free liquids.

What the 10,000 Puff Rating Really Tells You

Numbers on a box deserve a little scepticism, and puff counts are no exception. The listing rates these pods at up to 10,000 puffs and prices them at £6.99. Those are the two figures to work with, and it helps to be clear about what each one means. The puff rating comes from the manufacturer's own testing, which relies on a machine taking regular, measured draws. People do not vape like machines. A long, slow draw uses more liquid than a quick tap, and a pod used heavily every day will drain far sooner than one that lives in a coat pocket for the odd evening.

Even so, the arithmetic is useful if you treat the rating as a ceiling rather than a promise. At face value, £6.99 spread across 10,000 puffs works out at roughly 7p for every hundred puffs. Here is how that might look day to day, assuming the rating held up in practice:

  • Around 100 puffs a day: roughly 100 days from the rated figure.
  • Around 200 puffs a day: roughly 50 days.
  • Around 400 puffs a day: roughly 25 days.

In real use you should expect to land below the headline, so plan around the shorter end of those estimates. The listing itself words the figure as up to 10,000 puffs, and that phrasing is the honest way to read it: an upper-end estimate, not a guarantee. Draw length, how often you vape and the temperature the pod has been kept at all nudge the result up or down.

If you are weighing this against other formats, the comparison is instructive. A disposable vape bundles the battery, the liquid and the casing together and throws the lot away at the end, whereas a pod system lets you keep the device and replace only the pod. For other big-puff options at a similar rating, the 10,000 puff vapes collection is a handy way to compare prices and formats side by side before you commit.

Choosing a Flavour Family for Zero Nicotine Pods

Taking nicotine out of the equation puts flavour firmly in the spotlight. The flavour option on this listing is labelled generically, so we cannot honestly describe a single taste for it. What we can do is help you choose well, because the right pod depends far more on your own palate than on any marketing language. Named pages in the zero nicotine line include Blue Raspberry Ice, Fizzy Cherry and Strawberry Raspberry Cherry, while the wider IVG Pro 12 pod range runs from Banana Ice and Double Mango through to Classic Menthol, Fresh Mint and Cola Frost.

It helps to think in families rather than individual names:

  • Fruit and ice: sweet fruit with a cooling finish. This is the most common style in big-puff pods, and berry and tropical blends usually land here.
  • Sour and fizzy: tangy fruit with a sharper edge, a lively option for anyone who likes sour sweets.
  • Menthol and mint: clean, cool and less sugary, which suits long days and people who find sweet flavours cloying.
  • Soda and dessert: fuller, rounder profiles that borrow from familiar drinks and treats.
  • Tobacco: a dry, earthy profile for adults who miss that style of flavour.

Without nicotine's throat hit, cooling ingredients end up doing some of the work of giving each draw a little definition. That is why ice and menthol styles are so popular in nicotine-free liquids, and why a plain sweet flavour can feel slightly one-dimensional to some people. If you are not sure where to begin, a fruit and ice style is the forgiving choice. It is sweet enough to be enjoyable, cool enough to feel crisp, and rarely polarises opinion.

One habit is worth adopting from day one: rotate your flavours. Using the same pod flavour back to back dulls your sense of taste within a week or so, a kind of palate fatigue that makes even a good pod seem weak. Keeping two different families on the go avoids it, and it also gives you a fallback if one runs out before the next order arrives. A fruit pod for the daytime and a mint one for the evening is a simple pairing that many people settle into.

Who Zero Nicotine Pods Suit, and Who Should Skip Them

Not every adult vaper needs this pod, and nobody under 18 should ever buy it. Being straight about both halves of that sentence is the best way to help you decide, so here is the practical picture.

These pods tend to suit:

  • Adults who already own an IVG Pro 12 and want to run it nicotine free for a while.
  • People who vape mainly for the flavour and the routine rather than for nicotine.
  • Adults who like a nicotine-free pod for evenings or social moments and keep a stronger one for other times.
  • Anyone who wants a long-lasting, low-fuss pod format without bottles or refilling.

And they are probably not the right choice if any of the following applies:

  • You are under 18. Sales are strictly 18+ and the shop does not sell to minors under any circumstances.
  • You have never smoked or vaped. A nicotine-free product is still a vaping product, and there is no reason to start.
  • You want the effect nicotine gives. In that case a 10mg or 20mg pod, or a nicotine salt e-liquid, is the more sensible route.
  • You do not own, and do not plan to buy, a compatible IVG Pro 12 device.

Every order goes through an age-verified checkout, and you can read how it works on our age verification page. Orders that cannot be verified are refunded rather than sent, which is a policy designed to protect both you and us.

One more point, and it is an important one. We make no claims about health outcomes for any product we sell. If you have a medical question about vaping, nicotine or giving up smoking, speak to a pharmacist or your GP. Also remember that zero nicotine does not mean zero care. E-liquid is not food or drink, even without nicotine, so keep pods well away from children and pets.

Fitting and Priming Your Pod, Step by Step

Getting a fresh pod ready takes under two minutes, and most of that is waiting. Here is the routine the listing describes, with a few extra tips from us:

  • Check the device. Make sure your IVG Pro 12 is charged and that the contacts where the pod sits are clean and dry.
  • Peel the seal. Remove the film or foil from the pod, taking care not to squeeze the body while you do.
  • Click it in. Push the pod into the device until it seats firmly. A small click is normal and tells you it is home.
  • Wait 60 seconds. This gives the wick time to soak up liquid from the reservoir and avoids a dry first draw.
  • Start gently. Take a few short, easy draws before settling into your normal rhythm.

As for what arrives, the what's in the box section of the listing shows two prefilled replacement pods in factory-sealed foil, along with a compatibility and safety leaflet. It is worth reading the leaflet, because it is specific to the product and may flag details about your particular device.

Once the pod is running, a few habits will make it last. Vape until the flavour fades, then swap in a new one. Avoid chain vaping, because short rests between draws stop the coil from running hot and keep the taste cleaner. If you notice a burnt edge to the flavour, treat it as the pod's way of telling you it is nearly done, rather than pushing on through the last few draws.

When a pod is finished, dispose of it responsibly. Do not tip any leftover liquid down the sink or into the garden, and use a recycling point for vape products where you can find one. Keep a spare pod somewhere handy so a flat flavour never leaves you stuck mid-week, and fit it with the same patient 60-second wait you gave the first one.

Matching Pods to the Right Device or Kit

Pods are not universal, and it is an easy mistake to buy the wrong one. These are made for the IVG Pro 12. The listing is blunt about this point: a pod must match your exact device family, so a pod made for one product will not fit another, even when both come from the same brand. Check the name printed on your device before you order, and if the name is worn off, compare the shape of the pod bay with product photos.

If you do not yet own a device, a kit is the simplest way in. A kit bundles the device with a first pod, so you are ready to go the moment it arrives. The IVG Pro 12 zero nicotine starter kit is listed in the shop at £8.99, and the wider selection of pod kits lets you compare other devices that use the same sealed-pod idea. Compare kits on what the pods cost afterwards as well as on the upfront price, because the pods are what you will buy again and again.

It is tempting to try a pod that looks similar to the one your device takes. Please do not. Pods from different ranges can differ in the shape of the connector, the airflow path and the coil specification, and forcing one into the wrong device can damage both. If a pod does not click in smoothly, stop, take it out and check the compatibility details rather than pushing harder.

Think about the long game too. A pod system ties you to that maker's pods for as long as you use the device. That is not a problem if the range is wide and widely stocked, as the IVG range tends to be, but it is worth bearing in mind before you buy a stack of pods in bulk. Switching to a different device later means a different set of pods, and any spares you are holding for the old one would then be surplus.

Not sure whether a particular pod will fit your device? Send our team the exact name of your device before you order and they can confirm for you.

Storing Spare Pods So the Flavour Stays Fresh

Picture a spare pod rolling around a glovebox in July. By August the flavour will be flat, the liquid thinner and the seal tired. Heat is the main enemy of any prefilled pod, and the listing's own advice is to store sealed pods upright, below 30 degrees Celsius and out of direct sunlight. Everything else about storage flows from that one rule.

A few practical habits cover nearly every situation:

  • Keep them sealed until needed. The foil is there for a reason, and opened pods lose freshness faster than sealed ones.
  • Store them upright. This keeps the liquid settled around the wick instead of pooling against the mouthpiece or the seal.
  • Stay cool and out of the light. A drawer or cupboard away from radiators, windowsills and cars is ideal.
  • Use the oldest first. Check the packaging for any date information and rotate your stock accordingly.

Cold causes the opposite problem. E-liquid gets thicker as the temperature drops, so a pod that has spent the night in a freezing car may feel stubborn on the first few draws. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes, and then give it the usual 60-second wait after fitting. Do not warm it on a radiator or with a hairdryer, because that is a quick route to a leak.

Travelling with pods needs a little thought. Keep them upright in an inner pocket of your bag rather than loose in a pocket with keys and coins. Changes in cabin pressure on a flight can sometimes push liquid out of a fitted pod, so if you can, carry the device with the pod removed and click it in once you have landed. Pop it in a small sealed bag as well, which takes any accidental leak off your clothes.

Finally, store pods well away from children and pets, and not beside food. A nicotine-free pod is still a sealed container of flavoured liquid, and it should be treated with the same respect as any other vaping product.

Honest Pros and Cons Before You Order

Every format has trade-offs, and prefilled pods are no exception. Here is a straight summary so you can decide with your eyes open. On the plus side:

  • No mess. You never handle loose e-liquid, so there are no drips, spills or sticky fingers.
  • Consistent draw. A factory-primed coil gives a predictable experience from one pod to the next.
  • Travel friendly. Sealed pods are compact, and the listing notes a long shelf life.
  • A nicotine-free option. You get the pod convenience without nicotine in the liquid.
  • Long rated life. An upper rating of 10,000 puffs gives plenty of use from each pod.
  • Simple pricing. At £6.99 you know exactly what the next pod will cost.

And the downsides, which are just as real:

  • Higher cost per millilitre. The listing is open about the fact that pods cost more per ml than freestanding e-liquid.
  • Proprietary fit. The pods only work with the matching device, so you are tied to one range.
  • No customisation. You cannot swap the liquid, the coil or the strength inside a sealed pod.
  • The puff rating is an estimate. Real-world life varies with how you vape.
  • A generic flavour label. The option on this listing does not name a taste, so check the flavour you are getting.

If the cons outweigh the pros for you, the alternative is a refillable setup, where you fill the pod yourself with the e-liquid of your choice. Take a look at the refillable vape pods if you want that flexibility, and bear in mind it brings a little more fiddling and a bit more to learn.

The short version: if you value convenience and consistency, prefilled pods win. If you value control over cost and flavour, refillable wins. Neither is wrong, and plenty of adult vapers keep one of each.

Fixing Weak Flavour, Dry Hits and Other Niggles

Most pod problems come down to three things: seating, priming and charge. Before you decide a pod is faulty, run through this checklist of common symptoms and quick fixes:

  • Burnt or harsh taste: usually an unprimed wick or a pod that is close to empty. Leave the device alone for a minute and try again. If the pod is genuinely nearly spent, fit a new one.
  • Weak flavour: this can be palate fatigue, a low battery in the device, or a pod near the end of its life. Try a different flavour for a day and charge the device fully.
  • No vapour: the pod may not be seated properly. Remove it, wipe the contacts with a dry cloth, click it back in firmly and check the device has charge.
  • Gurgling or a small leak: often condensation in the mouthpiece. Wipe it clean, and never blow back through the pod. If liquid keeps pooling, stop using that pod.
  • Pod will not click in: confirm it is the right pod for your device, and never force it.

Some of these are a matter of technique. Short, gentle draws with a few seconds between them are kinder to the coil than long, hard pulls, and they tend to preserve flavour for longer. Letting the pod rest after a long session helps the wick catch up as well. People often blame the pod when the real culprit is how quickly they were drawing.

It is also worth ruling out the device. A flat battery can look exactly like a dead pod, and dirty contacts can stop the pod from connecting at all. If you have a second pod to hand, swapping it in is the quickest way to tell which part is at fault.

If you have been through the list and a pod still misbehaves, get in touch through our contact page with your order number and a short description of what happens. A clear photo helps too. The listing states that faulty items are replaced free of charge, so you should not be left out of pocket for a pod that is genuinely at fault.

Zero Nicotine Versus 10mg and 20mg Explained

Strength is the first thing to get right with this listing, so it gets a section to itself. Zero nicotine, shown as 0mg, means the e-liquid contains no nicotine at all. The other strengths you see across the vaping market, such as 10mg and 20mg, describe the amount of nicotine per millilitre of liquid. UK rules cap nicotine in e-liquid at 20mg per millilitre, which is why 20mg is the ceiling on most products you will come across.

Now the important practical point. The strength selector on a listing is set product by product, and the name of a product does not change what the selector offers. Before you add any pod to your basket, look at the selector, confirm the strength shown is the one you actually want, and check it again in your basket. If you are buying for 0mg and cannot see 0mg selected, contact the team before ordering rather than assuming everything is as the title suggests.

Why the fuss? Because a nicotine-free pod and a 20mg pod can look identical on a shelf, and the difference matters a great deal. Someone who wants a nicotine-free evening vape does not want to discover a nicotine salt liquid inside the pod, and someone who wants a particular strength does not want a mismatch either. A thirty-second check at the selector saves a lot of hassle.

It also helps to know that nicotine salts, the form of nicotine used in many pods, feel smoother at higher strengths than traditional freebase nicotine. That is the reason a 20mg salt pod can feel gentler than the number suggests, and the reason it is worth being sure of your choice. If you want to explore the nicotine-free end of the market outside pods, nicotine-free e-liquids are available for refillable devices.

Adults who already use nicotine tend to choose a strength that matches what they are used to, and we cannot offer health advice on the subject. If you are unsure what is right for you, speak to a pharmacist or your GP.

Delivery, Returns and Buying With Confidence

Ordering should be straightforward, so here is how it works in practice. Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day. Standard UK delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 24, which costs £1.99 and is free on orders over £20, and a DPD next working day option is also available if you want your pods sooner. Full details of every service and price sit on our delivery information page, which is the place to check before you order if timing matters.

Because every order is age-verified, you may be asked for a little extra information at checkout. That is a sensible safeguard and part of selling vaping products responsibly, and it is quick for most people. Orders that cannot be verified are refunded rather than sent, so nothing leaves the warehouse until the check is done.

On returns, the policy is clear and fair. Unopened, unsealed products can be returned within 14 days. Opened consumables cannot be returned, which is a health and safety rule that applies across the industry, so check that you have the right pod and strength before you break the seal. If an item arrives faulty, it is replaced free of charge. Keep the packaging and your order number to hand if you need to ask.

Pricing is simple at £6.99 a listing, and the shop currently advertises a multibuy offer on selected prefilled pod packs, so it is worth looking at the current vape deals before you check out. If you plan to run through pods steadily, buying a couple at once also means you will not be caught short when the first one fades.

Finally, the practical checklist for a smooth order: confirm the pod fits your IVG Pro 12, confirm the strength shown in the selector, add the flavour you want, and check your delivery address before you pay. Do those four things and the rest takes care of itself. Questions are always welcome before you order, and the team would rather answer one now than fix a mix-up later.

Frequently asked questions

Is this pod really nicotine free?

The product name says Zero Nicotine, which refers to a 0mg pod with no nicotine in the e-liquid. Strength options are set on each listing through the selector, so always read the strength shown before you add the pod to your basket and check it again at checkout. If you want 0mg and cannot see it selected, contact the team before ordering and they will confirm the details with you.

Which device do these pods fit?

They are replacement pods for the IVG Pro 12 system. Pods are not universal, and a pod made for one device family will not fit another, even from the same brand. Check the name on your device before you order. If you are unsure, send our team the exact name of your device and they will confirm whether the pod is the right match.

How many puffs will one pod give me?

The listing rates the pods at up to 10,000 puffs. That is a manufacturer estimate based on machine testing, so treat it as an upper figure rather than a promise. Real-world life depends on draw length, how often you vape and how the pod has been stored. Short, gentle draws generally stretch a pod further than long, hard ones.

Do I need to prime the pod before using it?

Yes, and it takes about a minute. After peeling the seal and clicking the pod into the device, wait 60 seconds so the wick can soak up the liquid. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a dry or burnt first draw. Once the wait is over, start with a few short, gentle draws before vaping as you normally would.

Which flavour will I get with this listing?

The flavour option on this listing is labelled generically, so it does not name a specific taste. The zero nicotine line also has named pages, including Blue Raspberry Ice, Fizzy Cherry and Strawberry Raspberry Cherry. If you want a particular flavour, check the named page for it, or contact the team before ordering and they can point you to the right one.

Can I refill these pods with my own liquid?

No. These are prefilled pods, sealed at the factory, and they are designed to be replaced rather than topped up. Trying to open or refill one can damage the pod and cause leaks. If you would rather use your own e-liquid, a refillable pod system is the better route, and we stock a range of refillable vape pods to choose from.

How should I store spare pods?

Keep them sealed, upright and below 30 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight, radiators and hot cars. Heat drains flavour and can loosen seals. If a pod has been somewhere very cold, let it reach room temperature before fitting it. Always keep pods out of reach of children and pets, and store them away from food.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 24, which costs £1.99 and is free on orders over £20, with a DPD next working day option available as well. Exact timings depend on the service you choose and when you order, so the delivery information page has the full detail.

Can I return pods once they have been opened?

No. Opened consumables cannot be returned for health and safety reasons. Unopened, unsealed products can be returned within 14 days. If a pod arrives faulty, it is replaced free of charge, so contact the team with your order number and a short description or photo of the problem and they will sort it out.

Do I have to be 18 to buy these pods?

Yes. Sales are strictly 18+ and every order goes through an age-verified checkout. Zero nicotine does not change that, because these are still vaping products and are not intended for anyone under 18. Orders that cannot be verified are refunded rather than sent, and nothing is dispatched until the age check has been completed successfully. Our age verification page explains how the process works.
