Lost Mary BM6000 Refill Pack Orange Bruu at a glance

Lost Mary BM6000 Refill Pack Orange Bruu is a prefilled replacement pod for the Lost Mary BM6000 pod system, sold here at £6.49 and rated by the manufacturer at 6,000 puffs. It comes in two nicotine salt strengths, 10mg and 20mg, and the flavour is an orange soda style profile. There is no liquid to pour and no coil to fit, because the pod arrives sealed and ready to click into place.

This page is written for the buyer who wants the specifics before ordering: what the flavour is likely to taste like, which strength to pick, how the multibuy works out, and what can go wrong. If you are newer to the format, the first few sections explain the basics in plain terms, and the later ones deal with the practical questions that tend to come up after the parcel arrives.

The pod belongs to the wider range of Lost Mary vapes, pods and kits we stock, and within that range it sits in the BM6000 refill group, which runs to more than fifty flavours. If you are comparing formats rather than flavours, our prefilled vape pods collection shows how this one sits next to sealed pods from other brands.

A few facts are worth fixing in your head before reading on. The device itself is not included, so you need a Lost Mary BM6000 unit already. The pod is not refillable, so once it is empty it is finished. The 6,000 puff figure is a rating supplied by the manufacturer, and your own result will depend on how you vape. And as with every nicotine product we sell, it is strictly for adults aged 18 or over, and it is not meant for anyone who does not already use nicotine.

How a prefilled BM6000 pod actually works

Strip away the branding and a prefilled pod is a small sealed cartridge with three jobs: hold the liquid, heat it, and let the vapour reach your mouth. In the Lost Mary BM6000 system the pod holds nicotine salt e-liquid and has the heating coil built into it. The battery lives in the separate device that the pod clicks into, which is why the pod on its own is light, cheap to post and has no charging port of its own.

When you draw on the mouthpiece, the device sends power to the coil, the coil warms the cotton wick that carries the liquid, and the liquid turns to vapour. Many devices of this type trigger on the draw, so there is no button to hold, though you should check the instructions that came with your own kit rather than assume.

The practical consequence of the sealed design is that the coil and the liquid are replaced together. Nobody enjoys cleaning or priming coils, and with a pod you never touch one. Each fresh pod brings a fresh coil, so flavour tends to be consistent from the first puff until the liquid runs low. The trade-off is flexibility: you cannot top the pod up, change the flavour halfway through, or swap in a different coil. If you want that freedom, refillable pods exist, but they are a different product with different upkeep.

Nicotine salts are made by pairing nicotine with an acid, which gives a smoother feel at the higher strengths allowed in the UK than traditional freebase liquid does. That is why almost every pod system at this price uses them, and why a 20mg salt pod does not feel as harsh as 20mg freebase would.

Finally, the capacity point. UK rules cap prefilled pods at 2ml of liquid. A 6,000 puff rating on a pod that size is therefore a manufacturer estimate made under its own test conditions, not a promise that every pod will last for exactly that many draws. Treat it as a way of comparing products from the same maker, not as a measurement.

What Orange Bruu tastes like in practice

Orange Bruu is a name that tells you more about the mood than the recipe. Lost Mary does not publish a detailed tasting breakdown for it, so what follows combines the tags on our listing, which mark it as orange and soda, with how orange soda style profiles generally behave in nicotine salt pods. Individual tastes vary, so treat this as a guide rather than a guarantee.

Expect the orange to arrive first and to lean towards fizzy orange drink rather than fresh juice. That means a bright, slightly sharp citrus note up front, followed by a sweet middle that reads closer to orange squash than to a peeled orange. Real citrus has a bitter edge from the zest; soda profiles usually sand that off in favour of sweetness. The finish tends to be short and clean, with a faint tang at the back of the tongue that gives the impression of carbonation. There are no bubbles in vapour, of course. The effect comes from the flavouring and from the acidity of the citrus note.

It is not an ice flavour, so do not expect menthol coolness. Some vapers like to add that, and for them there are other pods in the range to rotate with. This one stays on the warm, sweet side of the line-up. On the throat, the 10mg version is mellow and the 20mg version has a firmer hit that sits comfortably under the sweetness.

Two honest caveats. First, sweet soda flavours are fun for the first few days and can feel cloying through a long day of steady use. If you notice that happening, rotate with something drier or minty. Second, the "Bruu" spelling nods at the style of a fizzy drink, but this is not a licensed copy of any named soft drink, and we make no claim that it tastes like one in particular. If you do not enjoy fizzy orange drinks, you probably will not enjoy this. If you do, it is one of the more distinctive options in a range that leans heavily on berries, ice and mint.

Who this pod suits, and who should skip it

Start with the honest filter. This pod is for adults who already smoke or vape nicotine, who already own a Lost Mary BM6000 device, and who like the idea of a sweet, fizzy citrus flavour. If that sentence describes you, you are in the right place. If it does not, there are better ways to spend £6.49.

It suits the person who has settled into a pod system and wants a flavour change without buying new hardware. It suits the adult smoker who wants something that tastes nothing like tobacco, since fruit and soda profiles sit a long way from a cigarette and some people prefer that distance. It also suits anyone who dislikes fuss. Because the pod is sealed, there is nothing to fill, no coil to prime and no spare parts to carry. Slot it in and go.

Who should look elsewhere? Non-smokers and anyone under 18 should not use nicotine products, and the same goes for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. If you like the idea of mixing your own flavours, you need a refillable system, not a sealed pod. If you want a tobacco or plain menthol profile, this is the wrong flavour. And if you do not own a BM6000 device yet, you will need to buy one first, because the pod does nothing on its own.

Some buyers arrive here from all-in-one devices. If you are weighing this pod against the models in our disposable vapes range, the main difference is that the pod route lets you keep the device and replace only the pod, so the battery and body stay in use across several flavours. Whether that works out cheaper for you depends on how quickly you get through a pod and which all-in-one product you are comparing against, so do the sum with your own habits rather than taking a headline figure on trust.

One last point on fit. Heavy, constant vapers will go through a sealed pod faster than occasional users, and may find the convenience of grabbing a four-pack more useful than the flavour itself. Light users may find a single pod lasts a long time. Neither is wrong, but it helps to know which camp you are in before you choose a quantity.

The numbers: price, puffs, strengths and deal

Here are the figures as listed on this page, with notes on how to read each one.

  • Price: £6.49 per pack at the single price, or £5.75 per pack when the multibuy applies.
  • Puff rating: 6,000, as supplied by the manufacturer.
  • Nicotine strengths: 10mg and 20mg, both nicotine salt.
  • Format: prefilled pod with integrated coil, not refillable.
  • Flavour: Orange Bruu, an orange soda style profile.
  • Deal: buy four for £23.

On value, £6.49 for a pod rated at 6,000 puffs works out at just over a tenth of a penny per rated puff, and the multibuy price brings that to just under a tenth of a penny. Those are useful for comparing like with like, but only inside one maker's range. Puff ratings are not standardised across brands, so a 6,000 rating from one company may describe a very different experience from another's. If you want to see how the rating compares across the shop, our 6000 puff vapes collection groups products sold at the same headline figure, and it is a fair starting point as long as you remember the caveat.

It is just as useful to say what we have not listed. We do not publish a battery capacity, coil resistance or liquid volume for this pod, because we do not hold verified figures for them, and we would rather leave a gap than print a number that might be wrong. The one capacity fact we can state with confidence is the legal one: prefilled pods in the UK are limited to 2ml. For anything about the battery, check the packaging or manual that comes with your device.

We list the price per pack. The pod count and any packaging details shown on the product page above this copy are what you will receive, so treat that as the authority if anything here seems to differ.

Fitting the pod, power and your first puffs

Before you open anything, check that the pod and the device both carry the BM6000 name. The number is one digit away from the BM600 pods and the 4-in-1 pods that are also sold in the Lost Mary range, and those are listed as separate products. Do not assume they are interchangeable.

Preparation is short. Remove any protective film or caps from the pod, following the instructions on the packaging, then push the pod firmly into the device until it seats. You should feel a snug stop. Leave it for a minute or two before the first puffs. That short wait lets the liquid soak into the wick, and skipping it is the most common reason a new pod tastes weak or burnt on the first draw.

For the first few draws, go gently: slow, steady pulls of two or three seconds, with a pause between them. A pod like this is built for mouth-to-lung use, meaning you draw into your mouth first and then inhale, much as you would with a cigarette. Hard, fast pulls push more heat than the wick can keep up with and are the quickest route to a dry, harsh taste.

Power comes from the device, not the pod. The pod has no battery of its own, so a flat device is the first thing to check if nothing happens. Charge the device using the cable and method described in its own instructions, use a standard phone-style adapter rather than a high-output fast charger unless the instructions say otherwise, and do not leave it charging unattended or overnight. We do not quote a battery capacity here because we do not hold a verified figure for your particular unit; the packaging or manual will have it. How often you recharge depends entirely on how often you vape, and the sensible habit is to charge when the device is low rather than waiting for it to die mid-session.

If you do not own a device yet, our pod kits collection is the place to start. Read each product description to see which pods a kit takes before you order.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg strength

Nicotine strength is the decision buyers get wrong most often on a first order, usually by going higher than they need. This pod comes in two options, 10mg and 20mg, and the figure refers to milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid. In the UK, 20mg is the legal ceiling for retail e-liquid and pods, so the 20mg option here is the strongest you can legally buy.

A common rule of thumb among vapers is that heavier daily smokers start at 20mg, while lighter or occasional smokers, and people already used to a lower strength, start at 10mg. That is a starting point, not a prescription, and everyone's tolerance differs. Because this is a nicotine salt liquid, the hit is smoother than the same number would feel in an older style freebase liquid, which is part of why 20mg salts are popular in pods. It also means a strength that feels gentle can still deliver a lot of nicotine, so take it slowly on your first day.

Signs that the strength is too high include dizziness, nausea, a racing heart or a throat hit that feels harsh rather than firm. If you notice any of those, stop using the pod, and move down a strength next time. Signs that it may be too low are less dramatic: you find yourself drawing constantly and still wanting more, or you reach for the pod far more often than you expected. Some people do take more frequent puffs at lower strengths, which can eat into the life of a pod.

Because the pod is sealed, you cannot dilute it or adjust it once it is in your hand. If you are unsure, choose 10mg first and step up on a later order if it genuinely does not satisfy you. That is a cheaper mistake than going too high. If you want to see how nicotine salts work across other products and brands, browse our nicotine salt e-liquids.

One reminder to finish: nicotine is addictive, and none of this is advice to start. These pods are for adults who already smoke or vape.

Storing pods and fixing common problems

Pods are simple, which means most problems have simple causes. Start with storage, because good habits there prevent half of them.

  • Keep it cool and dry. Store pods away from direct sunlight, radiators and hot cars. Heat thins the liquid and encourages leaks.
  • Keep it upright. Leaving pods on their side or upside down in a bag pushes liquid towards the airflow channel and the coil.
  • Keep it sealed until needed. Spare pods are best left in their packaging so the mouthpiece stays clean.
  • Keep it out of reach. Nicotine products and liquid must be kept away from children and pets.

If something goes wrong in use, work through it in this order.

  • No vapour or very weak vapour. Check the pod is pushed fully into place and the device is charged. If both are fine, give the wick a minute to soak, then draw slowly.
  • Burnt or harsh taste. Stop. This usually means the liquid is nearly gone, or the pod was used hard before the wick was ready. Do not push through a burnt taste; fit a fresh pod.
  • Gurgling or small leaks. Condensation can collect in the mouthpiece. Blow gently through it, wipe away any liquid and store the device upright. A pod that keeps leaking should be replaced.
  • Device does not recognise the pod. Remove the pod, wipe the metal contacts with a dry cloth or cotton bud, and reseat it. If a new pod fails in a device that works with others, that points to a faulty pod.
  • Flavour seems to have faded. Either the pod is running low or your palate has tired of sweet soda. Try a different flavour for a day before blaming the pod.

It is worth noting that a pod rated for a large number of puffs will not announce when it is nearly empty. The usual signs are thinner vapour, a flat or slightly scorched taste, and a draw that feels dry. When you spot them, replace the pod rather than coaxing the last few puffs out of it, because dry draws are unpleasant and can damage the coil.

If you have been through the list and the pod still misbehaves, do not keep fighting it. Faulty items can be returned within 30 days, and the details are in the delivery and returns section further down this page.

Pros and cons of Orange Bruu in this format

No product suits everyone, so here is the balanced version, weighed against what this pod is actually for.

What works in its favour

  • Zero upkeep. The coil and the liquid are sealed together, so there is nothing to prime, clean or replace separately.
  • A flavour with a point of view. Orange soda is a less crowded lane than berry blends and menthol, and it gives a sweet, clean contrast if your usual pod is cooler or fruitier.
  • Two strengths. 10mg and 20mg cover a sensible spread, from lighter use up to the legal maximum.
  • A reasonable multibuy. Four for £23 brings the per-pack price down to £5.75 and, as covered below, tips your basket into free delivery.
  • You keep the device. You are replacing the pod, not the whole unit, which makes it easy to rotate flavours in the same hardware.

What counts against it

  • Tied to one system. It only works with the BM6000 device, so it is no use if you own something else.
  • Not refillable. When it is empty it is finished, and you are buying a new pod every time.
  • Sweet to the point of cloying for some. Soda profiles can wear thin over a long day. If you vape all day, plan to rotate flavours.
  • An optimistic headline number. 6,000 is a rating, not a guarantee, and real results vary with how you draw and which strength you choose.
  • Final once opened. We cannot take back opened pods unless they are faulty, so check the flavour and strength before you break the seal.
  • 20mg is the ceiling. If you are sensitive to nicotine, the stronger option may feel like too much, and you cannot water it down.

Weighing that up, this pod is a good fit for an adult who already owns the right device, likes sweet citrus and wants a low-maintenance swap. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants to tinker, anyone on a different system, or anyone who dislikes fizzy drinks. If you land in the second group, nothing here should persuade you otherwise.

Multibuy maths and when stocking up makes sense

Four pods for £23 sounds simple, and it is, but the sums are worth doing before you decide how many to buy.

At the single price, four packs would cost 4 × £6.49, which is £25.96. The deal brings that to £23, a saving of £2.96, or just over 11 per cent, and each pack effectively costs £5.75.

Delivery changes the picture more than the discount does. Standard delivery is free on orders over £20 and £2.99 below that. One pack at £6.49 plus delivery comes to £9.48. Three packs at the single price come to £19.47, which is still under the threshold, so with delivery you would pay £22.46. Four packs at the deal price come to £23 with free standard delivery. In other words, the fourth pod costs you only 54p more than stopping at three, and the whole order travels free.

Two sensible cautions. First, the multibuy price is applied automatically in the basket when qualifying products are added. Whether other flavours from the same range count towards the same deal is something the basket will show you, so check the total before you pay rather than assuming. Second, a deal only saves money on pods you will actually use. Sweet soda flavours can wear thin, so if you have never tried Orange Bruu, you may prefer to buy a spread: one or two of this and a couple of other flavours, if the basket confirms the deal still applies.

If you vape heavily, stocking up is easy to justify, because a pod swap every few days soon adds up. If you vape occasionally, remember that a pod sitting in a drawer for months is not a saving, and it is best to buy what you will use in a reasonable time. Other current multibuys across the shop are gathered on our vape deals page, and it is worth a look if you are building a larger basket to clear the free delivery line.

Pairing, switching and upgrading from here

Think of this pod as one rung on a ladder rather than a destination. Where you go next depends on what you liked or disliked about it.

If the flavour hit the mark, the simplest move is sideways within the Lost Mary range. The citrus and soda neighbours in the BM6000 line include Lemon Lime, Pink Lemonade, Cola and Cola Lime, and each gives a different take on the fizzy-drink idea. A sweet soda pod pairs well with something cooler to reset the palate, so a Menthol or Miami Mint pod alongside Orange Bruu gives you a sweet option and a clean one in the same device.

If you found the pod ran down faster than you liked, think about whether strength or technique is the cause before changing format. Moving from 10mg to 20mg can mean fewer, more satisfying draws. Moving the other way can mean the opposite. Sometimes the fix is as small as drawing more slowly.

If you want more from the hardware, the next step up is larger systems. Our big puff vape kits gather kits sold on higher puff ratings, and the 10000 puff vapes collection lists products rated at that higher level. Treat those numbers with the same caution as the 6,000 on this page. Ratings are not standardised, so compare what is actually in the box, such as the battery, the charging method and the pod or liquid capacity limits, rather than the headline figure alone.

Finally, think about a spare. A second pod in the drawer means a flat pod never leaves you reaching for cigarettes at the wrong moment, which is the main practical reason regular users keep one in reserve. If you already have a device you like, the cheapest way to extend it is simply to rotate the flavours that suit you, and Orange Bruu is a fair choice for the sweet, citrus slot.

Delivery, returns and age verification

Everything we sell is for adults, so the order begins with age. You must be 18 or over, every order is checked electronically, and where a check is inconclusive we may ask for ID before dispatch. Age is also confirmed on delivery. The full process is on our age verification page, and it is worth reading before you order if you have never bought from us.

Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery takes two to three working days and is free on orders over £20; below that it is £2.99. Next-day delivery is £4.99 for orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday. All delivery is tracked. The current terms are always on our delivery and returns page, and that page overrides anything summarised here if the two ever differ.

Returns need a little care. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns on opened pods, e-liquids or disposables, so check the flavour, strength and device compatibility before you break the seal. If a pod turns out to be faulty, you can return it within 30 days for a replacement or a refund. Start that by getting in touch, and include your order details and a short description of the fault. A photograph of any leak or damage can speed things up.

On authenticity, we source from brands and authorised UK distributors, and the Lost Mary products we list are genuine stock. If you ever receive something that does not look right, tell us straight away.

Finally, if anything on this page is unclear, such as whether your device takes this pod, whether a deal applies to your basket, or how to choose a strength, you can reach the team through the contact us page. It is much easier to check before ordering than to sort out afterwards.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Zero-mess flavour change — snap in, done
  • Consistent draw from a factory-primed coil
  • Long shelf-life, easy to travel with

Cons

  • Costs more per ml than freestanding e-liquid
  • Pods are proprietary to a specific device
  • Only sold at 20 mg or 10 mg — no lower strengths

Customer Buying Tips

  • Check device compatibility: a pod must match your exact device family (e.g. "Elfa Pro" pods only fit Elfa Pro devices).
  • Store sealed pods upright, below 30 °C — heat and sunlight drain flavour.
  • Rotate flavours: using the same pod flavour back-to-back dulls your palate within a week.
  • Prime the pod for 60 seconds after fitting to avoid a dry hit.

Frequently asked questions

Which device does the Lost Mary BM6000 Refill Pack Orange Bruu fit?

It is made for the Lost Mary BM6000 pod system, so you need a BM6000 device already. The BM600 pods and 4-in-1 pods sold elsewhere in the Lost Mary range are listed as separate products, so do not assume they fit. If you are not sure what your device is, check the name printed on the body or box, or send us a message through the contact page before ordering and we will help you match it up.

How much is it, and how does the buy four for £23 deal work?

A single pack is £6.49. The listing carries a buy four for £23 offer, which works out at £5.75 per pack and saves £2.96 compared with paying the single price four times. Multibuy prices are applied automatically in the basket when qualifying products are added, so check the basket total before you pay to confirm the deal has been picked up. Four packs at the deal price also take your order over £20, which qualifies for free standard delivery.

Which nicotine strengths are available?

Orange Bruu in this pack is listed in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt. 20mg is the highest strength allowed in the UK and gives a firmer hit, which suits heavier smokers. 10mg is gentler and suits lighter or occasional users. Because the pod is sealed you cannot dilute it, so if you are unsure, pick 10mg first and step up on your next order. Nicotine is addictive, and these products are only for adult smokers and vapers.

Will one pod really give 6,000 puffs?

The 6,000 figure is the manufacturer's puff rating, not a guarantee. UK rules cap prefilled pods at 2ml of liquid, and real results depend on how long and how often you draw, the strength you choose and how your device behaves. Some people will get close to the rating and others will fall well short. Use it to compare products from the same maker rather than as a promise. If a pod seems to run out unusually fast, contact us and we will look into it.

What does Orange Bruu taste like?

It is an orange soda style flavour. Expect a bright, slightly sharp citrus note first, then a sweet middle closer to fizzy orange drink or squash than to fresh juice, finishing short and clean with a faint tang. It is not an ice flavour, so there is no menthol cooling. Lost Mary does not publish a detailed tasting breakdown, so treat this as a guide. If you do not like fizzy orange drinks, a different flavour in the range is probably a better choice.

Can I refill the pod when it is empty?

No. This is a sealed prefilled pod with the coil built in, and it is not designed to be refilled. When the liquid is used up or the flavour fades, replace the whole pod. Trying to open a sealed pod can damage it and cause leaks, and it is not worth the mess. If you want a system you can fill yourself, look at refillable pods or e-liquid based kits instead, which come with their own upkeep.

Why does my new pod taste burnt or give no vapour?

The usual causes are simple. Check the pod is pushed fully home and the device is charged. Leave a new pod for a minute or two so the wick can soak before you draw, and take slow, gentle puffs at first. A burnt taste late in the pod's life usually means it is nearly empty. If vapour is still weak after all of that, wipe the contacts with a dry cloth, and if it still fails, contact us so we can look at it.

Can I return an opened pod?

For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns on opened pods, e-liquids or disposables, so check the flavour, strength and device compatibility before you break the seal. If an item is faulty, you can return it within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Contact us to start the process, and include your order details and a short description of the fault. A photograph of any leak or damage helps us deal with it faster.

How quickly will my order arrive, and will I need ID?

Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Standard delivery takes two to three working days and is free on orders over £20, or £2.99 below that. Next-day delivery is £4.99. Every order is age-verified electronically, and if a check is inconclusive we may ask for ID before dispatch. Age is also checked on delivery, so make sure an adult over 18 is available to receive the parcel.

Is this pod suitable for non-smokers?

No. Nicotine is addictive, and this pod is for adult smokers and existing vapers only. It is not suitable for anyone under 18, for non-smokers, or for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Sales are strictly 18+. If you do not currently use nicotine, there is no reason to start. If you are concerned about your health or your use of nicotine, speak to a pharmacist or your GP.

Been looking for something like this for ages. Finally found a brand that doesn't disappoint.

Lasts longer than expected

Switched from a well-known brand and this is actually better, especially for the price. Will reorder.

Great battery life

Delivery was super fast and the product is genuine. I've had fakes before so this was a relief.
