Nasty Liq Pineapple Ice 10ml 20mg Nic Salt at a Glance

Nasty Liq Nic Salts by Nasty Juice in Pineapple Ice is a 10ml bottle of nicotine salt e-liquid, sold here at 20mg/ml, made for refilling pod vapes and other low-powered devices. The flavour pairs sweet, slightly tart pineapple with a cooling finish on the exhale. Fruit plus chill is one of the most familiar combinations in the UK nic salt market, which makes this a sensible pick if you want something recognisable rather than experimental.

The 10ml size and the 20mg/ml strength are not marketing choices. UK rules limit nicotine e-liquid to bottles of 10ml or smaller and cap strength at 20mg/ml, so this bottle sits at the legal ceiling for both. It is also a refillable product, which matters because single-use vapes were banned from sale across the UK from 1 June 2025. Many adults who used to buy 20mg disposables have since moved to a small refillable pod kit and a bottle like this one, which keeps the same maximum strength while letting you reuse the hardware instead of throwing it away.

Key facts at a glance:

  • Product: Nasty Liq Nic Salts by Nasty Juice, Pineapple Ice flavour
  • Bottle size: 10ml, with a narrow nozzle designed for filling pods and small tanks
  • Nicotine strength: 20mg/ml, which works out at 200mg of nicotine across the whole bottle
  • Type: nicotine salt e-liquid for mouth-to-lung pod systems and other low-wattage devices
  • Flavour: sweet-tart pineapple with a cooling exhale
  • Intended for: adult smokers and existing adult vapers only (18+)

One practical note before you go further. Nic salt e-liquid is formulated for low-power use, so it is not a good match for sub-ohm tanks run at high wattage. The exact VG/PG ratio and full ingredient list are printed on the bottle label and can vary between batches, so read the label on the bottle you receive rather than relying on any general description, including this one.

Flavour Profile: What Pineapple Ice Tastes Like

Pineapple Ice is a straightforward two-part flavour, and it helps to think of the two parts separately. The pineapple half is a sweet, juicy tropical fruit note with a gentle acidity running through it, closer to ripe tinned pineapple in syrup than to a sharp, fibrous fresh slice. That small amount of tartness is what stops the sweetness feeling flat, and it is the reason pineapple works so well as an e-liquid base flavour.

The ice half is the cooling element. In the vape world, ice does not necessarily mean a strong minty taste. It usually means a menthol-type cooling agent added at a modest level, so the sensation is a cold, clean breath on the exhale rather than a toothpaste flavour. On the inhale you should get the fruit first, then the cooling builds mid-draw and carries through the exhale, leaving a light, sweet pineapple aftertaste on the tongue.

What to expect from the flavour in practice:

  • Sweetness: moderate to fairly sweet. It is fruit-forward rather than dessert-heavy, so it should not coat your mouth the way custard or cream flavours can.
  • Cooling: noticeable but not harsh. If you find menthol too intense, this style is generally gentler than a straight menthol or mint e-liquid, though it is not cooling-free.
  • Tartness: a mild acidic edge that some people read as a slight tang on the sides of the tongue.
  • Aftertaste: clean and fruity, without a heavy lingering sweetness.

Power and technique change how the flavour comes across. At low wattage the pineapple tends to read as juicy and natural. Push the power up and the sweetness can turn syrupy, the cooling effect can thin out, and the whole thing can start to taste cooked. If you want the cooling to stand out more, take slower, cooler draws at lower power. If you do not like menthol at all, choose a plain pineapple or a pineapple blend instead of an iced version.

Performance and Vapour Delivery

Nicotine salts behave differently from the freebase e-liquids many vapers grew up with. The nicotine is bound to a mild acid, which lets it be inhaled at 20mg/ml without the harsh scratch you would get from freebase nicotine at the same level. It also tends to be absorbed quickly, so a few short draws are often enough to feel satisfied. That is why nic salts suit small, low-powered pod devices and why they became the standard fill for the pod-style products that replaced cigarettes for a lot of adult smokers.

On a typical refillable pod kit, Pineapple Ice should give you a modest cloud and a fairly smooth throat hit with a clear nicotine kick at 20mg. Do not expect the dense plumes of a sub-ohm tank. This is a flavour-and-satisfaction product, not a cloud-chasing one.

What shapes performance with this e-liquid:

  • Device power: most pod kits for nic salts run somewhere around 8W to 15W. Staying in that range keeps the flavour clean and the throat hit tolerable.
  • Airflow: a tighter, restricted draw concentrates the flavour and suits the smooth salt throat hit. Wide-open airflow dilutes it.
  • Coil condition: a fresh coil delivers the cleanest pineapple. As a coil ages, flavour flattens and the cooling fades.
  • Draw style: slow mouth-to-lung draws of two to three seconds work well. Short, hard pulls can splutter and push liquid up the mouthpiece.

As a very rough guide only, a 2ml pod filled with 20mg/ml nic salt contains around 40mg of nicotine, and a 10ml bottle refills that pod about five times. How many puffs that equates to depends heavily on your device, power setting and draw length, so treat any puff count as an estimate rather than a promise. Light users may stretch a bottle across a couple of weeks, while heavier users replacing a pack-a-day habit may go through it considerably faster.

Bottle Design, Packaging and Build Quality

The product itself is the liquid, so build quality here comes down to the bottle, the nozzle, the cap and the label. Nasty Liq nic salts come in the standard 10ml plastic bottle used across the UK nicotine e-liquid market. The bottle is squeezable, which gives you control over how fast the liquid comes out, and the narrow tip is designed to fit the fill ports on most pod devices without needing a separate funnel or syringe.

Because nicotine e-liquid is a regulated product, the packaging has to meet certain standards. The cap should be child-resistant and the bottle should be tamper-evident, meaning there is a seal or ring that breaks the first time you open it. Look for those features when your order arrives. If the seal is already broken, the bottle is leaking, or the label is damaged, do not use it and contact the shop straight away.

What to check on the bottle itself:

  • Nicotine strength: the label should clearly state 20mg/ml.
  • Flavour name: confirm it says Pineapple Ice so you know you have the right variant.
  • Health warning: UK nicotine products carry a mandatory warning about the addictive nature of nicotine.
  • Ingredients and batch details: the ingredient list, batch number and best-before information should all be printed.
  • Nozzle condition: the tip should be firmly seated, not loose or cracked.

Store the bottle upright, with the cap tightly closed, somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, and always out of reach of children and pets. Heat and light degrade e-liquid over time and can darken the colour and dull the flavour. When the bottle is empty, check your local council guidance on plastic recycling, as the rules for small bottles with narrow nozzles vary between areas. Any batteries or vape hardware, on the other hand, should go to a proper electrical recycling drop-off point rather than the household bin.

Choosing Your Nicotine Strength: Is 20mg Right for You?

This listing is 20mg/ml, which is the highest nicotine strength that can legally be sold in e-liquid in the UK. That does not make it the right choice for everybody. Nic salts feel much smoother than freebase at the same strength, which makes it easy to take in more nicotine than you intended, so it is worth choosing deliberately.

A rough way to think about it, based on how much you currently smoke or vape:

  • Around 10 or more cigarettes a day, or moving from 20mg single-use vapes: 20mg/ml is usually the sensible starting point because it mimics the nicotine hit you are used to.
  • Roughly 5 to 10 cigarettes a day, or a lighter vaper: a 10mg/ml bottle is often more comfortable and gives you room to step down further.
  • Fewer than 5 cigarettes a day, or trying to cut down: look at 5mg or 10mg strengths rather than starting at the top.
  • Never smoked or vaped: nicotine e-liquid is not for you. Vaping is intended as an alternative for adults who already smoke.

Signs that your strength may be too high include dizziness, nausea, headaches, a racing heart, an unpleasantly harsh throat hit, or feeling the need to put the device down after a couple of puffs. Signs that it may be too low include cravings returning quickly, vaping far more often than planned, or going back to cigarettes between sessions. If you notice the first set, move down a strength or reduce how often you vape. If you notice the second, a short-term bump up may help, but speak to a stop-smoking service if you are unsure.

Many people use 20mg as a transition strength for the first few weeks, then step down to 10mg and eventually lower as the cravings settle. Local NHS stop-smoking services can support you with that plan and are free to use. Anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or living with a heart condition or high blood pressure should talk to a doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

Coil and Mesh Technology: Which Devices Suit Nasty Liq

Nasty Liq nic salts are designed for refillable pod systems and similar low-wattage hardware. The e-liquid is thinner and runs at a lower power than e-liquid made for sub-ohm tanks, so matching it to the right coil matters more than most people expect. Choose the wrong coil and you will get burnt tastes, leaking or a throat hit that is far too sharp.

Here is how the common coil types line up with a 20mg nic salt like this one:

  • Standard resistive coils (about 0.8 to 1.2 ohm): the classic choice for nic salts. They sit comfortably in the 8W to 15W range and deliver the tighter, mouth-to-lung draw that suits a smooth salt throat hit.
  • Mesh coils (about 0.6 to 0.8 ohm): a flat mesh surface heats more evenly and typically brings out more flavour and a little more vapour. Mesh works well with fruit-and-ice flavours, but keep the power at the low end of the coil's rated range with 20mg liquid.
  • Ceramic-core coils: known for steady flavour and long life. They can take a little longer to wick, so prime them properly before use.
  • Sub-ohm coils (below 0.5 ohm): not recommended. Running 20mg nic salt at high wattage delivers far too much nicotine and far too much heat for this type of liquid.

Before you buy, check that your device is genuinely refillable. Closed pod systems that only accept pre-filled, sealed pods cannot be topped up with a bottle like this. If the pod has a fill port, a visible silicone plug or a slide-open section, it is refillable. Always follow the manufacturer's guidance on which e-liquid type and strength their coils are built for.

Fruit e-liquids contain sweeteners that caramelise on the coil over time, which gradually darkens the cotton and dulls the flavour. Replace the coil or pod head when the pineapple starts to taste muted, burnt or flat, typically every one to two weeks depending on how much you vape. Changing the coil on schedule is the cheapest way to keep the flavour tasting the way it should.

Battery and Charging Considerations

The bottle has no battery, of course, but your device does, and the battery has a direct effect on how this e-liquid tastes. Pod kits designed for nic salts usually carry a battery of roughly 400mAh to 1000mAh, with the larger ones aimed at heavier users who do not want to recharge during the day. Because nic salts run at low wattage, even a modest battery can last a full day for a light to moderate vaper.

Battery level shapes flavour more than people realise. As voltage drops near the end of the charge, many devices deliver less power to the coil, which makes the vapour cooler and the flavour thinner. With an iced fruit flavour like Pineapple Ice, a flat battery tends to show up as weak cooling and washed-out pineapple. Charging before the device gets low is a simple habit that keeps the flavour consistent.

Sensible charging habits:

  • Use the cable that came with the device, or a reputable USB-C cable, plugged into a standard 5V charger or computer port.
  • Do not leave a device charging unattended or overnight, and never charge it on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa.
  • Unplug it when the indicator shows it is full.
  • Keep the device out of direct sun, hot cars and damp places, and do not carry it loose in a pocket with keys or coins.
  • If the device swells, becomes unusually hot, smells strange or the casing is damaged, stop using it and take it to a recycling point.

When a vape device reaches the end of its life, it should never go in the household bin or kerbside recycling, because lithium batteries can cause fires in collection vehicles and waste sites. Take it to a household waste recycling centre or a retailer take-back point. Retailers that sell vapes in the UK have take-back obligations for waste vape equipment, so ask your local vape shop or search for your nearest electrical recycling drop-off point.

Who Pineapple Ice Is For (and Who Should Skip It)

Nasty Liq Pineapple Ice is aimed at a fairly specific group of people, and being honest about who it suits is more useful than suggesting it is right for everyone.

It is a good fit for:

  • Adult smokers who want a refillable alternative to cigarettes and are comfortable with a 20mg/ml nicotine strength.
  • Former users of 20mg single-use vapes who now need a refillable route following the UK disposable ban and want a similar fruit-and-cool flavour.
  • Pod kit owners who already have a compatible refillable device and are looking for a straightforward fruit flavour to put in it.
  • People who prefer a clean, fruity taste over desserts, tobacco or heavy sweets, and who enjoy a cool exhale.
  • Vapers who like a low-fuss routine: fill, vape, refill, without mixing or steeping.

It is probably not the right choice for:

  • Anyone under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine products to anyone under 18 in the UK.
  • Non-smokers. Nicotine is addictive, and there is no benefit to starting.
  • People who dislike menthol or cooling sensations. Choose a non-iced fruit instead.
  • Cloud chasers and sub-ohm users. This is a low-wattage nic salt, not a high-powered liquid.
  • People who prefer very strong, rich or dessert-style flavours. Pineapple Ice is lighter and brighter than that.
  • Anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding or has a medical condition affecting the heart or blood pressure, unless a doctor has advised otherwise.

If you are not sure whether vaping is the right route for you, NHS stop-smoking services offer free support and can talk you through licensed options such as nicotine replacement therapy alongside or instead of e-cigarettes.

How to Use Nasty Liq Nic Salt: Filling and First Puffs

Filling a pod with nic salt is simple once you have done it a couple of times, but the first attempt is where most spills and leaks happen. Take your time and work through the sequence below.

  • Step 1, prepare: switch the device off, wash and dry your hands, and work over a tissue or a flat surface. Nicotine e-liquid on bare skin is absorbed, so wipe up any spills straight away.
  • Step 2, open the pod: remove the pod from the battery section and expose the fill port. Depending on the model this is a silicone bung, a slide-open cover or a flip-out cap.
  • Step 3, open the bottle: press down and turn the child-resistant cap, and keep the bottle upright so the nozzle does not drip while you line it up.
  • Step 4, fill slowly: place the nozzle in the fill port and squeeze gently. Stop at or just below the maximum fill line. Overfilling is the most common cause of leaks, because the liquid has nowhere to go when the air in the pod expands.
  • Step 5, close and wipe: close the port fully, wipe any liquid from the outside of the pod and the contacts, and reseat it in the battery section.
  • Step 6, let it prime: wait five to ten minutes before your first draw so the cotton soaks up the liquid. This is especially important with a brand new coil.
  • Step 7, take gentle first puffs: use a couple of slow, short draws at the lower end of your device's power range before settling into your normal rhythm.

If your device has adjustable power, start low. With 20mg nic salt, 8W to 12W is a common comfortable range for a standard pod coil. Draw slowly for two to three seconds into your mouth, then inhale. Avoid chain vaping, because the coil needs a moment between draws to re-wet, and dry hits are the most common source of a burnt taste.

Finally, remember that this is a nicotine product. Keep the bottle and the filled device away from children and pets, do not mix it with other e-liquids unless the manufacturer says it is safe, and never swallow or let it contact your eyes. If liquid does get onto your skin, wash it off with soap and water.

Troubleshooting Common Problems

Most problems with a refillable pod and a bottle of nic salt come down to the same handful of causes. Work through the list below before assuming the e-liquid or the device is faulty.

  • Burnt or acrid taste: usually a coil that has reached the end of its life or a dry hit from vaping before the pod was primed. Replace the coil, prime it for ten minutes, and keep the pod above the minimum fill level.
  • Weak or muted flavour: the coil may be worn, the battery may be low, or the power may be set too low. Try a fresh coil and a fully charged battery. A tight draw also helps concentrate the pineapple.
  • Cooling seems to have vanished: cooling agents fade first as a coil ages and also when vaping at higher power. Lower the wattage and replace the coil.
  • Gurgling or spitting: the coil is flooded or you have overfilled. Hold the pod upside down, take a few blank draws with the device off, wipe the mouthpiece, and next time fill to a lower level.
  • Leaking from the pod or mouthpiece: check the pod is sealed and the coil is seated firmly. Pockets, warm cars and changes in altitude can all push liquid out, so carry the device upright and not in direct heat.
  • Throat hit feels too harsh: 20mg is a strong setting. Lower the power, slow the draw, or move to a 10mg bottle if the strength is the problem.
  • Dizziness, nausea or a pounding heart: stop vaping, get fresh air and drink some water. This usually points to too much nicotine too quickly, and the next step is a lower strength or fewer puffs.
  • Device does not fire: check that the pod is seated properly, the contacts are clean, and the battery is charged. A flashing indicator often means a short circuit, low battery or poor contact; the device manual will explain the pattern.
  • Crackling or popping: often a sign of too much liquid on the coil, or a coil that is starting to fail. Let the pod rest and replace the coil if it persists.

If a problem continues after you have swapped the coil and charged the battery, the issue is more likely to be the device than the e-liquid. Check the manufacturer's guidance and contact the shop you bought the device from.

Longevity and Value for Money

Value with refillable vaping works differently from disposables. Rather than paying for a sealed unit that is thrown away when it runs out, you pay separately for the device, the coils and the e-liquid, and the e-liquid is the part you replace most often. A 10ml bottle at 20mg/ml contains 200mg of nicotine and refills a typical 2ml pod about five times, so the useful question is how long that lasts for you.

Roughly speaking, how quickly you get through a bottle depends on:

  • How much you vape: someone replacing a heavy smoking habit may use a bottle in a few days, while an occasional vaper might make it last a couple of weeks or more.
  • Device power: higher wattage burns through liquid faster. Staying within 8W to 15W stretches the bottle further.
  • Draw length: shorter draws use less liquid per puff.
  • Coil freshness: a worn coil can leak or waste liquid, whereas a fresh one uses it efficiently.

The running costs to include when comparing are the bottle price itself, a replacement coil or pod every one to two weeks, and the occasional charger or cable. Compare bottles by price per millilitre rather than the sticker price alone, and check the current price shown on this page. Multi-buy deals, where available, usually bring the per-bottle cost down for regular users.

Compared with the disposables they replace, refillable setups tend to be cheaper per month for a regular user and produce much less waste, because only the coil or pod needs replacing and not the whole battery. They do require a bit more effort and an upfront cost for the device.

On shelf life, an unopened bottle stored somewhere cool, dark and upright generally keeps well, and the best-before date is printed on the label. Once it is opened, try to use it within a few months and keep the cap tight. If the colour has darkened a lot or the flavour tastes noticeably off, replace it instead of pushing on.

How Pineapple Ice Compares With Similar Nic Salts

Pineapple Ice does not exist in isolation. Plenty of UK brands, including the Nasty Liq range itself, offer fruit-and-ice nic salts at 10ml and 20mg, so it is worth understanding where this one sits and where you might prefer something else.

  • Versus other Nasty Liq fruit flavours: flavours such as Cherry Ice or Blue Raspberry in the same range share the same bottle format and strength, so the choice comes down to the fruit you enjoy. Pineapple is brighter and more tropical than berry or cherry, and its natural acidity gives a lighter profile.
  • Versus non-iced pineapple: a plain pineapple nic salt will taste slightly sweeter and more rounded, with no cooling finish. If you find menthol-type coolness distracting, go for the non-iced version. If you like a refreshing exhale, the iced one is the better match.
  • Versus pineapple blends: blends that combine pineapple with coconut, peach, mango or lime change the flavour considerably. Those are more complex and often sweeter, whereas Pineapple Ice keeps the fruit as the main event.
  • Versus other brands' fruit-ice nic salts: several well-known UK nic salt ranges include a pineapple or tropical-ice flavour at the same strength. The main differences are in the sweetness level, the strength of the cooling and the exact flavour accuracy. These are matters of taste, so nobody can say one is objectively better, and sampling a couple is the only reliable way to find your preference.
  • Versus freebase 50/50 or shortfill e-liquid: freebase liquids work in higher-powered devices and typically give bigger clouds and a stronger throat hit at much lower nicotine. They are not interchangeable with nic salts in a pod kit.
  • Versus 10mg nic salt: the flavour is the same, but the throat feel is gentler and the nicotine dose is half. If 20mg feels like too much, drop to 10mg rather than changing flavour.

In honest terms, Pineapple Ice is a dependable, uncomplicated fruit-and-cool flavour at the maximum legal nic salt strength. It will not suit people who dislike menthol, those after dessert flavours, or anybody running a sub-ohm device. For adult smokers with a compatible refillable pod kit who want a refreshing fruit option, it is a reasonable and straightforward choice.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Best value per ml in the category
  • Choose your own device and coil
  • Available in a wide strength ladder

Cons

  • Refilling can leak if you overfill
  • Coil priming has a small learning curve
  • You handle the bottle — less discreet than pods

Customer Buying Tips

  • Match the strength to how much you smoked: 20+/day → 10-20 mg nic salt; 10/day → 10 mg; under 5/day → 3-6 mg freebase.
  • Match the ratio to your device: pod kits take 50/50, sub-ohm tanks take 70/30 shortfill.
  • Don't overfill: leaving the airhole clear prevents gurgling and leaking.
  • Shake before use so the nicotine and flavour integrate evenly.

Frequently asked questions

What nicotine strength is Nasty Liq Pineapple Ice and who is it suitable for?

This listing is 20mg/ml, the maximum nicotine strength allowed for e-liquid in the UK. It suits adult smokers who have around 10 or more cigarettes a day, or who are moving from 20mg single-use vapes. If you smoke less, or find a strong throat hit uncomfortable, a 10mg bottle is likely to be a better match.

Which devices can I use Nasty Liq nic salt in?

It is designed for refillable pod kits and other low-wattage devices with coils in roughly the 0.6 to 1.2 ohm range. It is not suitable for closed pod systems that only take pre-filled pods, and it is not intended for sub-ohm tanks run at high power. Always check your device manual for supported e-liquid types.

How many times can I refill a pod from one 10ml bottle?

A standard 2ml pod holds about 2ml of liquid, so a 10ml bottle will fill it around five times. How long that lasts depends on how often you vape and the power setting. Light vapers may take a couple of weeks, while heavier users can finish a bottle in a few days.

Does this e-liquid need charging or a battery?

The bottle itself does not need charging because it is just the liquid. Your pod device does have a battery, which you should charge with the supplied cable and a standard 5V USB charger, never unattended or overnight. A low battery can make the flavour and cooling taste weaker.

Can I swap to a different flavour, and are other strengths available?

Yes. Nasty Liq comes in a range of fruit and ice flavours, and many are available in more than one strength, such as 10mg and 20mg. Check the product variants on the shop page. Clean or replace the pod or coil when you switch flavour so the old taste does not carry over.

How long does a bottle of Pineapple Ice last?

That depends on the person. A 10ml bottle contains enough liquid to refill a 2ml pod about five times, which may last anything from a few days for heavy daily users to two weeks or more for lighter ones. An unopened bottle stored in a cool, dark place keeps well until the best-before date on the label.

Is Pineapple Ice good value compared with disposable vapes?

For regular users, refillable pod kits generally cost less per month than buying disposables, and they create much less waste because only the coil or pod needs replacing. You do have to buy the device up front and replace coils every one to two weeks. Compare bottles by price per millilitre and check the current price on this page.

Who should not buy this product?

It is not for anyone under 18 or for people who have never smoked or vaped. It is also not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a heart condition or high blood pressure, unless a doctor has advised otherwise. People who dislike menthol-style cooling may prefer a non-iced pineapple flavour.

Do you deliver to the UK and how is it packed?

Yes, we deliver across the UK, and the available delivery options and costs are shown at checkout. Orders are packed so bottles stay upright and sealed in transit, and an adult over 18 should be available to receive it. If your parcel arrives damaged, tell us as soon as you can.

What is the returns and warranty policy on e-liquid?

E-liquid is a consumable, so it does not carry a manufacturer warranty the way a vape device does. For hygiene and safety reasons we generally cannot accept opened bottles back. If your item arrives damaged, leaking, incorrect or faulty, contact us promptly with your order details and we will put it right in line with UK consumer law and our returns policy.
