Pixl Duo Prefilled Pods Tropical Edition: overview

The Pixl Duo Prefilled Pods Tropical Edition is a twin pack of ready-filled replacement pods built around fruit flavours from the sunnier end of the e-liquid range. There is nothing to pour, no coil to build and no bottle to carry around. You take the pod out of its packaging, click it into a compatible Pixl pod device, give the wick a few minutes to soak, and you are ready to vape. For adults who have moved away from cigarettes and want the simplest routine possible, that convenience is the entire reason this format exists.

This page is written as a straight buyer's guide. Where a specification follows directly from the product type, we state it. Where it depends on the exact flavour or strength you choose, we say so and point you back to the variant selector and the printed pack. Prefilled pods in this category are typically supplied like this:

  • Pack format: two pods per box, which is what the word 'Duo' refers to.
  • E-liquid capacity: 2ml per pod, which is the largest size UK regulations allow for a sealed pod or tank. That gives you 4ml of e-liquid per pack.
  • Nicotine type: nicotine salt, which delivers a smoother throat hit at a given strength than traditional freebase nicotine.
  • Coil: built into each pod, so every fresh pod is also a fresh coil.
  • Power source: none in the pod itself. The battery lives in the reusable Pixl device the pod clips into.

It helps to understand where this product sits in the post-2025 UK market. Single-use disposable vapes were banned from sale in England, Scotland and Wales from 1 June 2025, and the pod-and-device format has taken over much of that space. A prefilled pod is not a disposable in the legal sense because the device it clips into is rechargeable and reusable; only the sealed pod, with its small coil and 2ml of liquid, is consumed. Maximum nicotine strength is capped at 20mg/ml for all vape liquids in the UK, the same cap that applied to disposables before the ban, and that limit applies to this product too.

Throughout the rest of this guide we cover flavour, puff delivery, build quality, battery behaviour, coil technology, strength choice, who the product suits, how to use it, how to fix common problems, what it costs in practice and how it compares with the alternatives. If you want to skip ahead, the FAQ at the bottom answers the questions we are asked most often about delivery, returns and compatibility.

Flavour profile: what 'tropical' means in practice

'Tropical Edition' is a range name, not a single flavour, so the first thing to do is check which flavour or flavours are listed on your chosen variant and printed on the pack. Duo packs sometimes contain two pods of the same flavour and sometimes two different ones, and the product listing is the reliable source. What follows describes how tropical fruit profiles behave in a nicotine salt pod, so you know what to expect whichever variant arrives.

Tropical e-liquids are built from a small set of recognisable fruit notes, usually blended rather than used on their own:

  • Mango: the sweet, heavy base of many tropical blends. Expect a rounded, almost syrupy inhale with a soft finish.
  • Pineapple: adds tartness and a slightly sharp, juicy edge that stops a blend tasting flat.
  • Passion fruit and guava: bring tang and a floral, perfumed top note. These are the notes people tend to either enjoy or find too sharp.
  • Lychee and papaya: lighter, more delicate flavours that sit behind the main fruit.
  • Coconut and banana: creamy, dessert-like notes used to soften acidity in the mix.
  • Citrus (lime, orange): a bright lift at the end of the exhale.

Because nicotine salt e-liquids are usually vaped at modest power on a tight mouth-to-lung draw, flavour comes across concentrated rather than airy. You tend to get the sweetness on the inhale and the acidity or cream on the exhale. Fruit blends with a lot of sweetener can feel sticky on the tongue after a long session, which is a normal reaction rather than a fault with the pod.

Two habits make a noticeable difference to how the flavour comes across. First, pace yourself. Chain vaping drives the coil harder than it is designed for and flattens the flavour as well as using the pod up faster. Short draws of two to three seconds with a pause between them keep the taste cleaner. Second, rotate flavours. Everyone experiences palate fatigue when using one sweet fruit profile all day; the taste seems to fade even though the pod is fine. Having a second pod in the Duo pack, or keeping a different flavour as a backup, resets your palate and is a practical reason to buy in pairs.

If you are unsure whether tropical fruit is for you, a useful rule of thumb is that these blends sit between plain sweet fruit and sharper sour or ice blends. If you like fruit sweets, fruit juices or tropical cocktails, you will probably get on with them. If you prefer tobacco, menthol or dessert flavours, this range is not the natural fit and you may find the sweetness cloying.

Performance and puff delivery

The pod is designed for mouth-to-lung vaping, which means you draw vapour into your mouth first and inhale as a second step, similar to how smoking a cigarette feels. Airflow is typically fairly tight, so the draw has some resistance. This suits nicotine salt strengths, because the liquid delivers nicotine efficiently without needing a huge cloud. If you come from sub-ohm vaping with open airflow, the draw will feel restrictive at first, though most people adjust within a day or so.

On puff count, treat every number you see with caution. There is no standard test for how many puffs a pod delivers, and figures on packaging are calculated from assumed puff length and liquid usage. As a working guide, 2ml pods of this type are commonly rated by manufacturers at somewhere between 600 and 800 puffs. In real use, a more realistic range is around 400 to 700 puffs per pod, depending on how long you draw for, how often you vape and whether you chain. A Duo pack therefore gives you roughly 800 to 1,400 realistic puffs in total, which is somewhere between one and three days for a daily vaper and considerably longer for a light or social user.

Here is what to expect across the life of a pod:

  • First few puffs: sometimes slightly muted or airy while the wick finishes saturating. This settles after a few gentle draws.
  • Main life of the pod: flavour and vapour should stay consistent, with warm, moderate vapour production and a throat hit set by the nicotine strength.
  • Final stretch: as the liquid drops below roughly a fifth of the pod, you may notice hotter vapour, a slightly toasted note or less flavour. That is the cue to swap pods rather than keep pushing.

Vapour production is moderate, and intentionally so. Pods in this class run at low power, typically somewhere in the region of 10 to 15 watts, to get the most from a small battery and a small amount of liquid. If you want big clouds, a sub-ohm kit is the right tool and this is not. If you want something that feels discreet, with low odour and a quick, satisfying draw you can use in short bursts, the performance profile fits.

Consistency is the main advantage over filling your own pods. Each pod is filled and sealed at the factory with a matched coil, so you avoid the usual causes of poor performance on refillable systems: overfilling, flooded airflow, a coil that was not primed properly or a bottle of the wrong strength. When a pod is working correctly, the fifth puff of the day and the fiftieth should feel much the same.

One caveat on honesty: a small, sealed pod will always show some variation from one unit to the next. If a single pod in a pack behaves very differently from the other, treat that as a possible fault rather than normal variation and see the troubleshooting section below.

Design and build quality of the pods

A prefilled pod is a simple object, and the things that matter in its construction are the things that go wrong in cheaper products: leaks, loose fit, poor electrical contact and cracked plastic. Pods of this kind are normally moulded from clear or lightly tinted rigid plastic, which lets you see the liquid level at a glance. That window is more useful than it sounds, because it removes the guesswork about when to change a pod.

When your pack arrives, it is worth taking thirty seconds to inspect it. A sensible checklist looks like this:

  • Outer packaging: the box should be sealed, with no crushed corners or signs of liquid staining.
  • Pod body: no hairline cracks, particularly around the mouthpiece and the base where the pod meets the device.
  • Contacts and base: the metal contacts should be dry and clean. Any film of e-liquid on them is a reason to contact us, not to wipe it off and carry on.
  • Seals and stickers: remove any protective film or plug from the mouthpiece and the base, as instructed on the pack, before fitting.
  • Liquid level: both pods should look evenly filled to the line, with no large air gap and no pooling in the airflow channel.

The connection to the device is either a push-fit with a click or a magnetic seat, depending on the Pixl hardware you use. Either way, you want a firm, flush fit with no wobble. A pod that rattles or sits proud of the device body will give intermittent firing and may leak.

The mouthpiece is part of the pod, which is a hygiene benefit: you replace it every time you replace the pod. The fill port is sealed at the factory. It is not designed to be reopened, and we would strongly advise against attempting to refill these pods. Piercing the seal usually damages the wick or the seal itself, makes leaks far more likely, causes dry hits and removes any protection you have under the manufacturer's warranty or consumer law for a fault in the product.

Overall, build quality should be judged on how the pod behaves in your pocket as much as on the shelf. Keep it upright, away from heat and out of direct sunlight, and a sealed pod should sit in a bag or coat pocket without weeping. Storing pods on their side in a hot car is the single most common cause of leaks we hear about, and no pod design is entirely immune to it.

Battery and charging

One thing needs saying plainly: the pod itself has no battery. All the power comes from the reusable Pixl device it fits into, so battery performance is a property of the device and not of this pack. That is also why it is worth confirming compatibility before you buy, which we cover in the FAQ.

Compact pod devices in this class normally carry a rechargeable lithium-ion battery in the region of 400 to 1,000 mAh, charged over USB-C or a similar connector. As a rough guide, a battery in the 500 to 700 mAh range will usually power one to two 2ml pods per charge for a moderate user, with heavier use shortening that. Check the specification for your specific Pixl device, because the mAh figure and the charge time both vary by model.

Good charging habits protect both the battery and your home:

  • Use a sensible charger: a standard 5V phone or tablet adapter or a computer USB port is fine. Avoid unbranded or damaged cables, which are a leading cause of charging faults.
  • Do not leave it charging unattended or overnight: lithium-ion cells are safe in normal use, but unattended charging on a bed, sofa or under a pillow is not worth the risk.
  • Charge at room temperature: do not charge a device that is hot, wet or has been left in a freezing car.
  • Unplug when full: most devices show a light change when charging completes. There is no benefit to leaving it connected.
  • Stop using it if it swells, smells or gets unusually hot: a battery showing these signs should be retired, not repaired.

Typical charge times for a pod-device battery of this size are under an hour to around ninety minutes, though the real figure depends on the device and the charger. A top-up of ten or fifteen minutes will often give you a few dozen puffs if you are caught short.

When you replace a pod, you are not touching the battery, which keeps the system simple. Batteries do age, however. After a year or more of daily use, you may find the device holding less charge. When a device is finished with, do not put it in the household bin or kerbside recycling. Vape devices contain lithium-ion cells and are classed as waste electrical equipment, so take them to a council recycling centre or return them to a retailer that offers take-back. Used pods should be drained of any remaining liquid where practical and taken to the same drop-off points, since they contain a small coil and residual nicotine.

Coil and mesh technology inside the pod

Every prefilled pod has its heating element built in. Rather than a replaceable coil head that you screw in separately, the coil and wick form a sealed unit inside the pod and are discarded with it. For this pod type, the coil is generally a mesh or ceramic-style element with a resistance somewhere around 0.8 to 1.2 ohms, which is the range that pairs well with nicotine salt liquids at modest power. Check the pack or the manufacturer's specification if you need the exact figure for your variant, because we do not want to state a number the pack does not support.

Why does mesh matter? A traditional round-wire coil heats along a thin line, so the liquid next to the wire gets hot and the rest does not. A mesh element is a flat sheet of fine metal with a much larger surface area in contact with the wick. The practical effects are:

  • More even heating: fewer hot spots, which means less chance of a harsh or burnt note while the pod is working.
  • Better flavour definition: a larger area evaporating liquid gradually tends to preserve the delicate top notes in fruit blends.
  • Faster warm-up: the coil reaches working temperature quickly, so the first puff after a pause feels like the tenth.
  • Consistent vapour: output holds steadier as the liquid level falls, until the very end of the pod.

The wick is usually organic cotton, which draws liquid from the reservoir to the coil by capillary action. The limit of that system is thick or sugary liquid. Tropical fruit blends tend to contain more sweetener than other e-liquids, and sweeteners caramelise on a hot coil. That is one of the reasons a prefilled pod is designed to be used once and replaced. By the time the coil starts to gunk up with residue, the pod is empty and gets swapped out anyway.

Dry hits happen when the wick is not saturated and the coil heats cotton instead of liquid, producing a harsh, burnt taste. In a prefilled pod this has three usual causes: not letting a fresh pod soak long enough before the first draw, chain vaping so fast that the wick cannot keep up, and vaping a pod that is nearly empty. All three are avoidable, and the how-to-use section below covers each of them.

It is also the reason you should resist the temptation to refill. A used coil has absorbed sweetener, flavour and heat. Putting fresh liquid through it gives you poor flavour and a real risk of a dry or burnt hit, not a saving.

Nicotine strength guidance

In the UK, e-liquids cannot be sold above 20mg/ml (2%) nicotine. That ceiling applies to prefilled pods, to bottled liquid and, before they were banned, to disposables. Nicotine salt liquids in prefilled pods are normally offered at 10mg and 20mg, and sometimes lower. Choose from the strengths shown on the variant selector for this listing, since not every flavour is stocked in every strength.

Nicotine salts are different from the freebase nicotine used in older vape liquids. At the same milligram figure, a salt feels noticeably smoother in the throat, and it tends to deliver nicotine to the bloodstream faster, which many ex-smokers find more cigarette-like and more satisfying. That is why salt strengths top out at 20mg and why the same number on a salt can feel stronger overall than on a freebase.

As a general starting framework, not medical advice:

  • 20mg/ml: usually the right place to start for someone who smoked around ten or more cigarettes a day, or who had a cigarette within half an hour of waking. It aims to hold off cravings without constant puffing.
  • 10mg/ml: suits lighter or social smokers, people who smoked fewer than ten a day, and anyone cutting down who finds 20mg too sharp.
  • Lower strengths, where offered: for people stepping down gradually or who vape mainly out of habit.

Signs a strength is too high include dizziness, nausea, headaches, a racing heart, hiccups or a cough that does not settle. If you notice them, stop, drink water and drop to a lower strength next time. Signs it is too low include constantly reaching for the device, strong cravings between sessions and getting through pods much faster than expected, because you are compensating with extra puffs. If that happens, moving up a step is often cheaper and calmer than chain vaping a weaker pod.

Nicotine is addictive. This product is for adult smokers who want an alternative, not for non-smokers, young people, or anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition without medical advice. If your goal is to quit nicotine entirely, local NHS stop smoking services offer free support and can combine vaping with behavioural help, and that is worth considering rather than taking the whole job on alone. Plan to step down in strength over weeks and months rather than staying at the same level indefinitely.

Who the Pixl Duo Tropical pods are for

Be clear about the target buyer, because a product that suits one person well can be the wrong choice for another. These pods are aimed at adults who currently smoke or already vape nicotine and who want a low-effort, flavour-led way to do it.

They suit you if:

  • You are switching from cigarettes and want something that feels close to smoking: a tight draw, a recognisable throat hit and no equipment to learn.
  • You value convenience over cost: no bottles, spills, coil changes or priming. Click in, vape, bin.
  • You like fruit flavours: tropical blends are among the most popular profiles for ex-smokers, who often move away from tobacco taste after the first few weeks.
  • You travel or commute: a small pod device and a spare pod fit in a pocket without leaking bottles or tools.
  • You want a spare ready to go: a Duo pack means a second pod is already in the box when the first runs out.

They are probably not the right fit if:

  • You do not already use nicotine. Do not start vaping because of this product page. Nicotine is addictive and offers non-smokers no benefit.
  • You are under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine products to under-18s in the UK, and we verify age at checkout and may check again on delivery.
  • You want big clouds or a very strong, deep throat hit. The low-power, tight-draw design is not for that.
  • You vape heavily and watch costs. A refillable pod kit with bottled nicotine salts will cost noticeably less per millilitre, as covered in the value section.
  • You do not own a compatible Pixl device. The pods are not universal, so confirm fit first.
  • You dislike sweet flavours. If tobacco or menthol is more your style, choose a different range.

If you are not sure which camp you fall into, a good test is simple: think about how many cigarettes you smoke a day, how much time you want to spend maintaining a device, and whether you would rather pay a bit more for convenience. If convenience wins, you are the intended customer. If you are price-driven or like tinkering, read the comparison section before you buy.

How to use your pods, step by step

Prefilled pods are among the simplest vaping products to set up, but a handful of small steps stop most of the faults we see. Follow this sequence for each new pod.

  • Step 1, check compatibility and charge the device. Make sure the pod is designed for your Pixl device and the device battery has some charge. A flat battery is the most common reason a new pod seems not to work.
  • Step 2, unpack and remove protective parts. Take the pod out of the box and remove any film, plug or sticker from the mouthpiece and base, following the instructions printed on the pack.
  • Step 3, fit the pod. Push it firmly into the device until it clicks or seats flush. A wobbling pod will cause intermittent firing.
  • Step 4, let the wick soak. Wait three to five minutes before the first puff. This allows the cotton to saturate and is the single best way to avoid a dry hit on a fresh pod.
  • Step 5, take gentle first draws. Use two or three light draws of a second or so to pull liquid into the coil, then settle into normal use.
  • Step 6, vape at a steady pace. A draw of two to three seconds, with a pause of twenty to thirty seconds between puffs, protects the coil and the flavour.
  • Step 7, replace when low. When the liquid line reaches the bottom, or the taste turns hot or toasted, pull the pod out and fit the second one from the Duo pack.

A few extra tips make the day-to-day better. Store the device and spare pod upright, away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not leave a pod in a pocket next to keys or coins, which can cause the contacts to short. If you take it on a plane, follow the airline's rules on carrying batteries, which generally require vape devices in hand luggage rather than the hold.

When a pod is finished, do not put it in the household bin, kerbside recycling or a public litter bin. Used pods contain a coil and a small amount of nicotine, so they should go to a drop-off point such as a council recycling centre or a retailer that runs take-back for vape waste. Do the same for the device when it reaches the end of its life. Keep pods and liquid out of reach of children and pets, and treat any spilled liquid on skin with soap and water.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with prefilled pods have simple causes. Work through the likely ones in order before assuming the product is faulty.

  • Nothing happens when you draw. First check the battery is charged and the device is switched on, if it has a switch. Remove the pod and refit it firmly, making sure it clicks into place. Check that both the contacts on the pod and on the device are clean and dry. A pod that has been inserted off-centre often fails to fire.
  • Weak or no flavour on a new pod. Usually the wick has not soaked. Rest it for a few minutes, then take two or three gentle draws. If flavour is still thin after that, try another pod from the pack.
  • Burnt or harsh taste. This is a dry hit. Stop vaping that pod for a few minutes, and take shorter, slower draws afterwards. If it persists with plenty of liquid showing, the coil has probably failed and the pod should be replaced. If the liquid line is almost gone, the pod is simply finished.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Liquid has pooled in the airflow channel. Remove the pod, wipe the mouthpiece, and take a couple of draws with the pod held away from your mouth to clear it. Keep the device upright between uses.
  • Leaking. Check for cracks first. Heat and pressure changes are the usual causes: leaving the device in a hot car or taking it up in an aircraft cabin. Wipe the pod and device contacts, let them dry fully, then reseat. If a pod keeps leaking out of the box, contact us with photos.
  • Pod will not seat in the device. Make sure the protective plug or film has been removed and that the pod type matches the device. Do not force it. A pod that needs force to fit is the wrong model or is deformed.
  • Short battery life. A device battery that drains in a few hours may be ageing, or you may be using a charger that does not complete the charge. Try a different cable and adapter before replacing the device.
  • Flashing light on the device. Meanings vary by model. Common signals are low battery, a short circuit or a protection lock-out. Consult the instructions that came with your device.
  • Sore throat or cough. Often a strength that is too high, or draws that are too hard and hot. Try a lower nicotine level and shorter draws, and drink water.

If none of this fixes the issue, keep the pod, the packaging and a photo of the fault, and get in touch. A properly documented fault is the quickest route to a replacement or refund under your statutory rights.

Value for money

Judging value on prefilled pods needs a clear head, because the headline price of a two-pod pack looks low and the true cost depends on how fast you get through the liquid. The simplest measure is cost per millilitre: take the pack price and divide by 4ml, since a Duo pack holds two 2ml pods. Do the same for any other product you are comparing, and you have a like-for-like figure.

As an illustration only, to show how the sums work rather than to quote a price: if a pack cost £5, that would work out at £1.25 per millilitre. A 10ml bottle of nicotine salt liquid, used in a refillable pod kit, often costs a few pounds, which comes out at a fraction of that per millilitre. So prefilled pods carry a convenience premium. That is true of every closed-pod system, from every brand, and it would be misleading to claim otherwise.

The premium buys you several things that do have a value:

  • No spills or mess: the liquid is sealed and the pod is disposed of when finished.
  • A new coil every time: no ageing coil, no flavour fade, no coil purchases.
  • No learning curve: nothing to prime, adjust or tune.
  • Built-in portability: a spare pod costs you pocket space and nothing else.
  • Predictable spend: you know what a pod costs and can see how long it lasts.

Compared with smoking, the numbers are favourable for most people. A pack of twenty cigarettes now costs well over £14 in the UK. A daily smoker spends several thousand pounds a year on tobacco. Even at a prefilled-pod price, vaping can cost a fraction of that for an adult who actually switches. The comparison that matters for your wallet is therefore usually pods versus cigarettes, not pods versus the cheapest possible vaping setup.

If you want to reduce the per-pod cost, there are sensible levers. Buy several packs together where a multi-buy discount is shown. Pace your draws, since chain vaping burns through pods faster. Choose the strength that suits you so that you are not compensating with extra puffs. And keep a spare device charged, because the cost of the pods is wasted if you leave a half-used one to leak in a bag.

The verdict on value is a fair one: if you want convenience, a clean routine and predictable performance, the price is reasonable for the format. If you vape heavily and can cope with a bottle and a refillable pod, you will spend less elsewhere.

How it compares with the alternatives

No product suits everyone, so here is an honest look at where Pixl Duo Tropical pods sit against the main alternatives. We are not claiming this range wins every comparison, because it does not.

  • Other closed-pod systems such as Vuse ePod and ELFA. These work on the same principle: a prefilled, sealed pod clicked into a reusable device. The decision usually comes down to which device you prefer in the hand, which flavours you like and which pods are easiest to find. Widely stocked brands have an advantage in availability. Pixl's strength in this comparison is the range of fruit flavours and the twin-pack format, but you cannot mix pods between systems, so you commit to one ecosystem.
  • Refillable pod kits such as the Vaporesso XROS or OXVA Xlim. These use a replaceable coil pod that you fill with bottled nicotine salt. They cost much less per millilitre and give you access to thousands of flavours. In exchange, you need to learn to fill, prime and change coils, and you carry a bottle. If you enjoy tinkering or vape a lot, they are the better value. If you want a no-fuss routine, prefilled pods are easier.
  • Old-style disposable vapes. These are no longer legal to sell in England, Scotland and Wales and are not an option. A reusable device with replaceable pods is the nearest replacement, and it produces far less electrical waste because only the small pod is discarded.
  • Nicotine pouches, gum and NHS-approved therapies. They give nicotine without any vapour. They are worth considering if you cannot or do not want to vape, but they are different products with a different feel and are not a like-for-like swap.
  • Larger sub-ohm kits. These make bigger clouds with bigger power and lower-strength liquid. They suit people who want that experience, but they are bulkier and more demanding to use than a pod system.

In short, the Tropical Edition is a sensible option if you already use or are happy to use a Pixl device, you like fruit flavours and you prefer convenience over the lowest running cost. It is not the cheapest route to vaping and is not trying to be. If cost is your priority, a refillable kit wins. If availability across every shop in the country is your priority, a more widely distributed brand has the edge. If a simple, tidy, twin-pack format with tropical flavours is what you are after, it is a perfectly sound choice.

Whichever route you choose, buy from a seller that verifies age, states clear returns terms and gives you a way to recycle the waste. Those three things say more about a vape shop than any marketing line.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose?

Most people who smoked ten or more cigarettes a day start at 20mg/ml, which is the UK maximum, while lighter smokers usually do better at 10mg/ml. If you feel dizzy, nauseous or get headaches, go lower; if you are constantly puffing and still craving, go up one step. Only use the strengths listed on the variant selector for this product.

How do I charge it, given the pod has no battery?

The battery sits in your reusable Pixl device, not in the pod, and it normally charges over USB-C from a standard 5V adapter or a computer port. Do not leave it charging overnight or unattended, and stop using it if it swells or gets unusually hot. Charge time and capacity vary by device, so check the instructions for your model.

Does the Duo pack contain two different flavours?

That depends on the variant. Some Duo packs contain two pods of the same flavour and others contain two different ones, so check the variant name and pack description on the listing before ordering. If you want to swap flavours between pods, buy more than one variant and keep the pods upright in a cool place.

How long does one pod last?

A 2ml pod is usually rated at roughly 600 to 800 puffs by manufacturers, and in real use 400 to 700 puffs is more realistic. For a daily vaper that is often around a day to a day and a half per pod, and it can be much longer for light users. Chain vaping shortens it.

Is it good value compared with refillable kits?

Prefilled pods cost more per millilitre than bottled nicotine salts in a refillable kit, because you pay for convenience, a fresh coil each time and no mess. Compared with cigarettes, the cost is usually much lower. Divide the pack price by 4ml to get a fair cost per millilitre for comparison.

Who should and should not buy these pods?

They are for adult smokers or existing nicotine users who want a simple, flavour-led alternative. They are not for under-18s, non-smokers, or anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition without medical advice. Nicotine is addictive, so do not start if you do not already use it.

Will these fit my device?

The pods are designed for compatible Pixl pod devices and are not universal, so do not assume they will fit another brand. Check your device model against the compatibility notes on the listing, and if you are unsure, contact us before ordering. Never force a pod that does not seat easily.

Can I refill the pods once they are empty?

No. They are sealed prefilled pods with a built-in coil, and refilling them is not recommended. Piercing the seal tends to cause leaks and dry hits, and it may affect any claim you have for a fault. Replace the pod when it is empty and recycle the used one at a drop-off point.

Do you deliver across the UK, and is there an age check?

Yes, we deliver to UK addresses, with delivery options and costs shown at checkout. You must be 18 or over to buy, and we verify age at checkout and may check again on delivery. Dispatch and delivery timescales are set out on our delivery page.

What is your warranty and returns policy?

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, so goods that arrive faulty or damaged should be reported to us promptly with photos and the packaging. For hygiene reasons, opened or used vape products are generally not returnable unless faulty, so check our returns page for the full terms before ordering.
