IVG Pro 12 Pre-Filled Pod Kit Pack of 5 at a glance

IVG Pro 12 Pre-Filled Pod Kit Pack of 5 is a multipack of five ready-to-use pod vape kits from IVG, a brand with one of the broadest ranges on the UK market. Each unit pairs a rechargeable pod device with a pre-filled nicotine salt pod, so there is no bottle to open, no coil to fit and no priming routine to learn. Fit the pod, take a draw and the device fires. The pack is listed at £37.99, which works out at roughly £7.60 per kit, and the wider IVG Pro 12 family covers 28 flavours.

This guide is written for adult UK smokers and existing vapers who want the facts before they order. It covers what you get in the pack, how the kit performs, how the flavours behave, what to expect from the battery and the mesh coil, how to choose a nicotine strength, who should buy it and who should look elsewhere, how to use and troubleshoot it, and how it compares on price. Where a figure is a manufacturer rating rather than something we have measured, we say so. Where we are reasoning from the format rather than quoting a datasheet, we say that too.

  • Pack size: five kits per pack, sold as a single multipack.
  • Pod format: pre-filled nicotine salt pod, so there is nothing to top up.
  • Puff rating: the IVG Pro 12 range is listed by the manufacturer at 10,000 puffs per unit. Treat this as an upper estimate, not a promise.
  • Strengths: the IVG Pro 12 family is sold in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt. Choose the option shown on the product page when you order.
  • Pod capacity: UK rules cap a pod at 2ml, and that cap applies to every compliant pod on the market.
  • Age restriction: strictly 18+. Nicotine products are for adults only.

What is in the pack and why a five-kit multipack exists

A multipack of five kits is built for a particular kind of buyer. Some people want a single device to try. Others have already settled on a flavour or two, know they will vape every day, and would rather order once than reorder every week. Five kits in one box suits the second group. It also suits households where more than one adult vapes, and people who like to keep a spare in a bag, a car and a coat so that a flat battery never leaves them stranded.

Each kit in the pack is a complete unit: the pod device with its pre-filled pod ready to use. The pack is priced above five loose IVG Pro 12 pods, and that gap reflects the fact that every unit includes the rechargeable device as well as the e-liquid. If you already own an IVG Pro 12 device, buying pods on their own is the cheaper route, and we cover that maths in the value section below.

Because the kit is sold as a family with 28 flavours, the exact flavour you receive depends on the option you select on the product page. If you want a mixed selection, the sensible approach is to order several packs in different flavours rather than hope for variety inside one box. Check the option selector and the order confirmation before you pay, and contact us with your order number if anything does not match.

Inside the box you should expect the kits themselves and the usual paperwork that comes with a nicotine product, such as safety and recycling information. A charging lead is not something we promise for every unit in the pack, so if you need one, check the listing details or ask before ordering. Most people already own a suitable USB lead and a wall plug, which is why many multipacks leave them out.

  • Five complete pod kits, each ready to vape.
  • One flavour per pack, chosen at the point of order.
  • Pre-filled pods, so no e-liquid handling and no spills in a pocket.
  • Dispatch before 4pm for same-day posting, with free UK delivery on orders over £20.

Performance and puff delivery

Performance on a pod kit comes down to three things: how quickly it fires, how consistent the vapour is from the first draw of a pod to the last, and how the throat hit feels at your chosen strength. IVG Pro 12 units are an inhale-activated, draw-to-fire design, which means there is no button to press. You breathe in, the sensor detects airflow and the coil heats. That keeps the experience simple and is a large part of why this style of device is popular with adults switching from smoking, because the motion feels close to drawing on a cigarette.

The headline figure on the IVG Pro 12 range is 10,000 puffs per unit. That number is a manufacturer rating, produced under machine conditions with short, even puffs. It is useful for comparing one IVG product with another, but you should not read it as a guarantee. Real use varies with how long you draw, how often you vape, which flavour you choose and whether you use the device in cold weather, which thickens the e-liquid and slows wicking. Because UK pods are limited to 2ml of liquid, a sensible expectation is that a heavy daily user will go through a unit faster than the headline rating suggests, while an occasional vaper will take much longer to finish one.

If you want a rough way to plan, think in terms of days rather than puffs. Light users, who take a handful of draws through the day, may find one unit lasts for several weeks. Moderate users often settle into a week or two per unit. Heavy users who chain vape will see the shortest life. With five kits in the pack, even a heavy user has a good run of supply.

On draw feel, pod kits of this type sit in the middle of the market. The pull is a restricted mouth-to-lung style, tighter than an open direct-to-lung device, and that pairs well with nicotine salt e-liquid, which is designed to be smooth enough to inhale at higher strengths. If you are coming from a cigarette, expect a firm draw with a noticeable but not harsh throat hit at 20mg and a gentler one at 10mg.

Flavour profile across the 28-flavour family

The IVG Pro 12 family runs to 28 flavours, which is a wide enough spread that most adult tastes are covered without any obvious gaps. Rather than list every name, here is how the range breaks down and what the popular choices tend to taste like. Descriptions are based on the flavour names and the typical way each profile is built in UK pod e-liquid, so treat them as a guide, not a lab analysis.

  • Strawberry Ice: a sweet strawberry base with a cooling finish on the exhale. A good entry point if you want fruit without much complexity.
  • Blue Sour Raspberry: blue raspberry sweetness with a tart edge. Popular with people who find plain sweet profiles too sugary.
  • Strawberry Watermelon: two soft summer fruits blended into a juicy, rounded flavour. Light on cooling, easy to vape through the day.
  • Blackcurrant Lemonade: a tangy, drink-style profile where the blackcurrant gives depth and the lemon keeps it bright.
  • Double Mango: a ripe tropical profile that leans sweet and creamy rather than sharp.
  • Classic Menthol: a straight menthol with no fruit, aimed at smokers who want a clean cooling hit.
  • Cherry Burst Ice: sweet cherry with a cold finish, closer to a boiled sweet than a fresh cherry.
  • Strawberry Raspberry Cherry: a mixed red fruit blend for people who like layered flavours.

Other names in the family include Blackberry Raspberry Ice, Blue Raspberry, Fizzy Cherry Cola, Purple Lemonade and Red Sour Raspberry, so there are both sweet and sour options and a fair number with an ice element. If you dislike cooling, read the flavour name first. Anything with Ice, Freeze or Menthol in the title will include a cold sensation, and some of the stronger cooling profiles can feel sharp at the back of the throat on the first few puffs.

One practical point on flavour life. Fruit profiles are usually strongest in the first half of a unit and settle into a steadier, slightly softer taste afterwards. That is normal for pre-filled pods and is not a fault. If you find the taste dulling quickly, give the device a rest, because heavy chain vaping can overheat the coil and flatten the flavour.

Design and build quality

The IVG Pro 12 kits are compact pod devices designed to slip into a jeans pocket or a small bag. The body is a plastic shell with a finish chosen to resist fingerprints, and the pod seats into the top of the device so that the mouthpiece sits flush with the body. In everyday use that means fewer snag points and a profile that does not bulge through clothing. We are not going to claim a specific weight or dimension, because those are not in our product data, but the format is the standard slim pod shape that most UK adults will recognise.

Build quality at this price point is about sensible compromises. You get a plastic body rather than metal, which keeps the cost and the weight down. The trade-off is that a plastic shell can scuff in a pocket full of keys and coins, and it will not shrug off a hard drop onto pavement the way an aluminium device might. If you are rough on your kit, the pack of five works in your favour, because you have spares if one gets damaged.

The pod connection is the part that matters most for reliability. A pod that clicks in firmly and sits level gives a good electrical contact and a proper seal around the airflow path. A pod that is pushed in at an angle, or that has a smear of e-liquid on its contacts, is the single most common source of a dead or leaking device. Seat the pod with a firm, straight push until you feel it stop, and wipe the contacts with a dry tissue if you see residue.

The mouthpiece is shaped for a comfortable lip seal and a draw that does not whistle. If a unit makes an unusually loud hiss when you pull, check that the pod is fully home before assuming a fault.

  • Slim, pocketable pod shape suited to everyday carry.
  • Plastic shell keeps weight and price down, with the usual scuff risk.
  • Pod seats into the top of the device with a firm click.
  • Draw-activated, so there are no buttons to snag or press by accident.

Battery and charging

The IVG Pro 12 kit is a rechargeable pod system, which is the main difference between this format and the sealed single-use vapes that UK rules have moved away from. A built-in lithium battery powers the coil, and you top it up through the charging port when it runs low. We do not state a milliamp-hour figure for the battery, because that number is not in our product data and we would rather leave it out than invent one. What we can say is that pod devices in this class are built so that the battery comfortably outlasts a single pod of e-liquid when charged between uses.

Charging is simple. Plug a standard USB lead into the port on the device and connect the other end to a phone charger or a computer port. Many current pod devices use USB-C, so check the port on the unit when it arrives and use a matching lead. Charge it on a hard, non-flammable surface, in a room where you are present, and unplug it once the indicator shows it is full. Do not leave any lithium device charging overnight unattended, and do not use a damaged lead or a high-output rapid charger that was not designed for small devices.

Battery life in daily use depends on how often you vape. A moderate user will typically top up the device every few days, while a light user may go a week or more between charges. If you have five kits in the pack, a handy routine is to rotate them: use one, charge it when the first puffs feel weak, and keep another ready. That also spreads the wear across the batteries.

A few battery habits help every lithium device last longer.

  • Charge before the battery is completely flat, rather than waiting for it to die.
  • Keep the device out of hot cars and direct sun, which can stress the cell.
  • Do not use it while it is plugged in unless the manual says it is safe to do so.
  • Never try to open the case or remove the battery.

At the end of its life, the device is electrical waste. Do not put it in the household bin or the kerbside recycling. Take it to a household waste recycling centre or a shop that offers vape take-back, and make sure the battery is not damaged or leaking when you hand it over.

Mesh coil and pod technology

Modern IVG Pro pods are built around a mesh coil, which is a flat or curved sheet of fine metal mesh in place of the old round wire coil. The advantage is surface area. Mesh heats a larger section of the cotton wick evenly, which tends to produce a smoother vapour, a more consistent flavour and a quicker start-up than a plain wire coil of similar power. For a pre-filled pod that has to hold its character from the first draw to the last, that evenness matters.

A pre-filled pod is a sealed cartridge containing nicotine salt e-liquid, a wick, the coil and the mouthpiece. Because it is sealed at the factory, you never touch the liquid, which cuts the risk of spills, mixed-up bottles and incorrectly primed coils. The cost of that convenience is that you cannot refill the pod. When the e-liquid is gone or the coil has worn out, the pod is finished, and in a kit like this one that means it is time to move on to the next unit in your pack or buy replacement pods.

Nicotine salt e-liquid deserves a mention, because it is why this style of device feels the way it does. Nicotine salts are formulated so that the liquid is much smoother to inhale than traditional freebase nicotine at the same strength. That is the reason a 20mg pod does not feel as harsh as a 20mg bottle of older-style e-liquid would. It also means the device is designed for lower power output, which is kinder to the battery and the coil.

Here is what to expect from a mesh pod over its life.

  • A short wicking delay when you first fit the pod. Wait a minute before the first draw.
  • Steady flavour through most of the pod, with a gradual fade near the end.
  • A burnt or dry taste if you chain vape, because the wick cannot keep up with rapid draws.
  • Slightly thicker liquid in cold weather, which can mean softer vapour until the device warms in your hand or pocket.

Remember that the UK limit of 2ml per pod applies to this class of product. If you ever see a pod claiming a much larger capacity from a UK seller, treat it with caution.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg nicotine strength

Nicotine strength is the most important decision you will make with this kit, so it is worth slowing down. The IVG Pro 12 family is sold in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt strengths. UK law caps nicotine in e-liquid at 20mg per millilitre, which is 2 percent, and that limit applies to every nicotine vaping product sold in the country, including pod kits and disposable-style units. A 20mg product is therefore at the legal ceiling, not above it.

Always choose the strength in the option selector and check it on your order confirmation before you pay. If a nicotine-free option appears, it is intended for adults who want the flavour and the hand-to-mouth habit without nicotine.

  • 20mg: the usual choice for people who currently smoke around ten or more cigarettes a day, or who smoke first thing in the morning. It gives a firmer throat hit and a stronger nicotine effect, and it tends to satisfy cravings with fewer puffs.
  • 10mg: better for lighter smokers, people who have already been vaping at a lower strength, and anyone who finds 20mg too sharp. You will probably take more puffs per day than at 20mg, which is normal.

If you are unsure, think about how you behave rather than only about what you smoked. If you take frequent, short puffs and feel unsatisfied, you may need more nicotine. If you feel light-headed, queasy, jittery or you have a harsh throat after a few draws, you are likely on too much. Move down a strength, and give yourself a few days to adjust before you decide.

It is worth buying one pack at a time while you work out the right strength. Because there are five kits in the box, getting the strength wrong means you are living with that choice for a while. A new vaper switching from smoking and looking for balance might begin at 10mg or 20mg depending on their smoking habit, then adjust at the next order. If you have never smoked or used nicotine, these products are not for you.

Who this kit suits, and who should skip it

No single device suits everyone, so here is a plain view of who gets the most from the IVG Pro 12 Pre-Filled Pod Kit Pack of 5 and who would be better served elsewhere.

It suits:

  • Adult smokers moving to vaping who want something that works straight from the pack, with no tank filling or coil swapping.
  • Existing vapers who prefer a pocketable pod device with a draw-to-fire design.
  • People who know they like a particular flavour and would rather buy five units at once than reorder repeatedly.
  • Households with more than one adult vaper who want to share an order.
  • Anyone who wants spares, for work, home and travel, so a flat battery or a damaged unit is not a crisis.

It is probably not for you if:

  • You do not currently smoke or use nicotine. Nicotine is addictive, and vaping is for adults who already use nicotine.
  • You want to adjust wattage, airflow or coil type. A closed pod kit has none of those controls, and a refillable device is a better fit.
  • You vape a wide variety of flavours and like to change every day. Five kits in one flavour could become repetitive. A single starter kit or loose pods may suit you better.
  • You want the lowest possible cost per millilitre. Bottled e-liquid in a refillable kit usually costs less over time, though it takes more effort to use.
  • You are under 18. The sale of vaping products to anyone under 18 is illegal in the UK, and we will not supply them.

None of this is a criticism of the product. It is a specific tool with a specific job. If your priorities are convenience, consistent flavour and a compact device, it is a sensible option. If your priorities are customisation and the lowest running cost, look at a refillable system instead.

How to use and activate the kit

Getting started takes about two minutes, and the whole process is built to be forgiving. Follow these steps in order for the cleanest start.

  • Step 1. Remove the kit from its packaging and peel off any protective film from the mouthpiece or pod.
  • Step 2. If the pod is supplied separately from the device, push it firmly into the top of the device until it clicks and sits level.
  • Step 3. Charge the device if the battery is low, or if the indicator tells you to. Many units arrive with enough charge to start, but a short top-up is a good habit.
  • Step 4. Wait a minute or two after fitting the pod so that the wick can soak up the e-liquid. This avoids a dry first draw.
  • Step 5. Take a gentle first puff. There is no button, so simply inhale from the mouthpiece and the device will fire.

That is all there is to activation. If nothing happens on the first few draws, see the troubleshooting section below before assuming the unit is faulty.

A few habits improve the experience.

  • Draw gently and steadily. Slow, even pulls of two to three seconds produce better vapour than short sharp ones.
  • Pause between puffs. A few seconds of rest lets the wick re-saturate and protects the coil from drying out.
  • Store it upright when you can. This reduces the chance of e-liquid pooling around the contacts.
  • Keep it away from extreme heat or cold. A device left in a hot car or a freezing pocket will perform badly.

When a pod runs out, the device will either stop producing vapour or give a burnt taste. Do not try to refill a pre-filled pod. If your kit has a detachable pod, replace it with a new one. If the pod is built into the unit, move to the next kit in your pack. Keep spent units out of reach of children and pets, and dispose of them as electrical waste.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with pod kits are simple and fixable. Work through these in order before contacting support.

  • No vapour on the first draw. Wait two minutes after fitting the pod so the wick can saturate, then take a few gentle, longer pulls. Check the pod is fully seated and the contacts are clean and dry.
  • Device will not fire at all. Charge it for at least thirty minutes in case the battery is flat. If it still does nothing, remove and refit the pod and try again.
  • Burnt taste. This usually means the pod is nearly empty or you have been chain vaping. Rest the device, take slower draws, and if the taste persists, move to a fresh unit.
  • Weak or fading flavour. Flavour fatigue is common when you vape the same profile all day. Take a break or try a different flavour before assuming the pod is faulty.
  • Leaking or wet contacts. Wipe the pod and the device contacts with a dry tissue. Avoid squeezing the pod and store the device upright. A leaking pod that keeps leaking should not be used.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Excess condensation in the airflow path. Blow gently through the mouthpiece away from your face to clear it, then try again.
  • Device gets warm. A little warmth during use is normal. If it feels hot, stop using it, let it cool and contact us if it happens again.
  • Charging does not start. Try a different lead and a different power source, and check the port is free from lint.

If a unit is faulty on arrival, or fails shortly after purchase, you have rights under UK consumer law, which gives you routes to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are not as described or not of satisfactory quality. Contact us with your order number and a short description of the fault, and include a photo if the problem is visible. We would rather sort a genuine fault quickly than leave you with a dead device.

Never use a unit that is swollen, leaking from the battery area, or giving off a chemical smell. Stop, keep it away from flammable objects and take it to a recycling point.

Value for money, comparisons and buying from VapeShopOnline

At £37.99 for five kits, the maths comes out at about £7.60 per unit. The single IVG Pro 12 starter kit is listed at £7.99, so five bought separately would cost £39.95. The multipack therefore saves roughly £2, which is a modest discount, not a dramatic one. The real value of the pack is convenience and stock: you order once, you have spares, and you are not left without a working device.

If you already own an IVG Pro 12 device, the cheaper route is to buy replacement pods. The pods are listed at £5.99 each with a multibuy that takes five to £25, which works out at £5 per pod. If a kit includes the device and you only need the e-liquid, pods alone cost less. The multipack makes most sense when you need the hardware as well as the liquid, or when you want several spare devices.

How does it compare with alternatives? Here is an honest view.

  • Versus sealed single-use vapes: single-use units are simpler, but the UK restricted their sale from June 2025, and a reusable device is the direction of travel. A rechargeable kit also creates less waste per puff.
  • Versus other branded pod kits from names like Elf Bar, Lost Mary or Geek Bar: these are in the same broad category. Choose on flavour, strength and price at the time you buy, because each brand releases new products often. IVG has the advantage of a wide flavour list; others may have a stronger reputation for a particular flavour or a different device style.
  • Versus refillable pod or tank kits: refillable systems cost less per millilitre and offer more control, but need more setup and maintenance. A pre-filled kit trades running cost for convenience.

You can buy with confidence here. Orders over £20 qualify for free UK delivery, orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day, and every product we sell is 100 percent genuine. All sales are age-restricted to adults aged 18 or over, and we may ask for proof of age. When a unit reaches the end of its life, take it to a household waste recycling centre or return it to a shop with a take-back scheme so that the battery is recycled properly.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose for the IVG Pro 12 Pre-Filled Pod Kit Pack of 5?

The IVG Pro 12 family is sold in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt, and you pick the strength on the product page. As a general guide, heavier smokers who smoke around ten or more cigarettes a day tend to choose 20mg, while lighter smokers or people who find 20mg too sharp tend to prefer 10mg. UK law caps nicotine at 20mg per millilitre, so 20mg is the highest strength you can legally buy.

How do I charge the kit and how long does the battery last?

Plug a standard USB lead into the charging port on the device and connect it to a phone charger or computer, then unplug it once it is full. We do not quote a battery capacity because it is not in our product data. Most moderate users charge every few days, and you should always charge on a hard surface and never leave it unattended overnight.

Can I swap flavours or mix flavours within one pack?

Each pack is sold as a single flavour, chosen from the 28 options in the IVG Pro 12 family when you order. If you want variety, order several packs in different flavours. If you pick the wrong flavour by mistake, contact us with your order number as early as possible and we will tell you what can be done.

How long will each kit last?

The manufacturer rates the IVG Pro 12 range at 10,000 puffs per unit, but that is a machine-tested figure and real use varies. A light user may take several weeks to finish a unit, while a heavy user may finish one in around a week. Flavour, draw length and how often you vape all change the answer.

Is the five-kit pack good value?

At £37.99 the pack works out at about £7.60 per kit, compared with £7.99 for a single IVG Pro 12 starter kit, so the saving is roughly £2 over five units. It is strongest value if you need the devices as well as the e-liquid. If you already own a compatible device, loose pods at £5.99 each, or five for £25, cost less.

Who should buy this, and who should not?

It suits adult smokers and vapers who want a ready-to-use pod kit with no filling or coil changing, and people who want spare units. It is not for non-smokers, anyone under 18, or people who want adjustable power and the lowest running cost, who would be better with a refillable system. Nicotine is addictive, so only use it if you already use nicotine.

Can I refill the pods?

No. These are pre-filled pods and are not designed to be refilled, and attempting to do so can cause leaks, a poor seal and a damaged coil. When the pod is finished, move to the next kit in your pack or buy replacement pods. UK rules also limit pods to 2ml of e-liquid.

How fast is delivery to the UK?

We offer free UK delivery on orders over £20, and orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day. Delivery times depend on the service and your postcode, and you will receive tracking details by email. We only deliver nicotine products to adults aged 18 or over.

What if my kit arrives faulty, and what are the returns terms?

If a unit is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us with your order number and a photo if possible. UK consumer law gives you rights to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are faulty or not of satisfactory quality. For hygiene and safety reasons, we generally cannot accept returns of opened vaping products that are working normally.

How should I dispose of the kit when it is finished?

Vapes contain a lithium battery and count as electrical waste, so they should never go in your household bin or kerbside recycling. Take them to a household waste recycling centre or a shop with a vape take-back scheme. If a device is swollen, leaking or damaged, keep it away from heat and hand it in as soon as you can.
