Overview: what Mix Lab Salts Strawberry Ice Cream is

Mix Lab Salts 10mg Strawberry Ice Cream is a 10ml bottle of nicotine salt e-liquid from the Mix range. It is made for refillable pod kits and compact mouth-to-lung devices, and it pairs a ripe strawberry top note with a soft, creamy dessert base. The nicotine strength is 10mg/ml (1%), which sits in the lower-middle of the nic salt scale and well under the UK legal ceiling of 20mg/ml.

The product is sold in the standard UK retail format: a 10ml plastic bottle with a narrow nozzle, a child-resistant cap and a tamper-evident ring. Ten millilitres is the largest bottle size allowed for nicotine-containing e-liquid in the UK, so you will see the same footprint from almost every nic salt brand on the market. Across the full bottle you get 100mg of nicotine in total (10ml multiplied by 10mg/ml), which is a handy figure if you like to keep track of how much you actually use.

Nicotine salts differ from the older freebase nicotine used in most larger-bottle shortfills. The nicotine is bound to an organic acid, usually benzoic acid, which lowers the pH of the liquid. The practical result is a smoother throat hit at a given strength and a faster, more cigarette-like nicotine delivery. That is why nic salts became the default choice for people moving away from smoking or from disposable vapes, and why they work best in low-powered devices rather than high-wattage kits.

Key facts at a glance

  • Format: 10ml bottle of pre-mixed nicotine salt e-liquid, ready to use with no need to add a nicotine shot.
  • Strength: 10mg/ml (1.0%) nicotine, half the UK maximum of 20mg/ml.
  • Flavour: strawberry with a cream and vanilla-style dessert base.
  • Device match: refillable pod kits and small mouth-to-lung devices, roughly 8W to 18W, with coils from about 0.8 to 1.2 ohm.
  • Not designed for: sub-ohm tanks run at high wattage, where salt-strength nicotine becomes harsh and the bottle empties very quickly.

Exact VG/PG ratios and ingredient lists are printed on the bottle label and can vary between batches, so we recommend reading the label on the bottle that arrives. Everything below is written to help you decide whether this particular flavour and strength suits the way you vape, and to point out where a different product might serve you better.

Nicotine strength guidance: is 10mg the right level?

Choosing a nicotine strength is the single decision that most affects whether you enjoy a nic salt or give up on it. At 10mg/ml, Strawberry Ice Cream is a middle-of-the-road option. It is stronger than the 5mg or 6mg salts that suit very light vapers, and gentler than the 20mg salts that many former heavy smokers start on.

Because salt nicotine is absorbed faster and feels smoother than freebase, 10mg of salt tends to feel more satisfying than 10mg of freebase would. Many vapers describe 10mg salt as comparable in effect to somewhere between 3mg and 6mg of freebase, although this is a rough comparison and individual response varies. The throat hit is noticeably softer, so you can take longer, fuller draws without coughing.

A simple way to pick your strength

  • Smoked around 10 or fewer cigarettes a day, or you are a light social vaper: 10mg is a sensible starting point and may be all you need.
  • Smoked 10 to 20 cigarettes a day: try 10mg first if you plan to vape frequently, and step up to 20mg only if cravings are still strong after a week or so.
  • Smoked more than 20 a day, or vaped a 20mg disposable heavily: 20mg salt is likely to feel closer to what you are used to, though it is worth trying 10mg in a device you can draw on generously.
  • Already vaping 3mg or 6mg freebase: 10mg salt is a reasonable swap, and you may find you take fewer puffs overall.

The UK cap of 20mg/ml applies to all nicotine vaping products, including disposables and refill liquids, and was set to limit how much nicotine a single puff can deliver. Staying at or below that limit is a legal requirement for every UK seller, so you will not find stronger legitimate nic salts on a UK retailer's shelf. If you are already using a 20mg disposable and want to cut down, moving to 10mg salt in a refillable pod kit is a common and reasonable step.

One caution: if you notice dizziness, nausea, a racing heart or a headache after vaping, you are probably taking in more nicotine than you need. Take a break, drink some water and drop to a lower strength next time. Nicotine is addictive, and this product is intended for adult smokers and existing vapers, not for anyone who does not already use nicotine.

Flavour profile: strawberry, cream and a soft finish

The name tells you most of what to expect, but it helps to separate the flavour into its parts. On the inhale you get a sweet, rounded strawberry that sits closer to a ripe summer berry than to a sharp, tart one. There is a candy-like quality to it, which is typical of vape strawberry recipes, rather than the grassy, slightly sour note of a fresh-cut berry.

On the exhale the cream arrives. It is a smooth, mildly vanilla-leaning dairy note that softens the fruit and gives the vapour a dessert character. Think of strawberry ice cream or a strawberry milkshake rather than a strawberries-and-cream pudding with sharp sauce. The sweetness is moderate to high, as you would expect from a dessert flavour, and it lingers a little on the palate after each puff.

A point worth being clear about: the word ice in the name refers to ice cream, not to a menthol cooling effect. Some flavours in the wider nic salt market use the word ice to mean a chilled menthol finish. Here the profile is creamy and fruity, so you should not expect a strong cooling sensation. If you want a chill, you may prefer to look at a strawberry ice or menthol-tagged flavour instead, and we have a note on that in the comparison section below.

What the flavour is like at different device settings

  • Low power (8W to 10W on a pod kit): the strawberry is clearer and the cream stays in the background. This is where most people will find the balance most pleasant.
  • Medium power (12W to 15W): the cream and sweetness come forward, the vapour is warmer, and the flavour feels fuller but also a little heavier.
  • Higher power (above 18W): the sweetness can turn slightly cloying and the liquid will burn through the coil faster, so we would not recommend running it that hot.

Flavour perception is personal. People who dislike very sweet vapes may find this a touch sugary after a few hours, while those who enjoy dessert profiles will probably find it easy to vape through a bottle without flavour fatigue. If you are new to dessert flavours, consider buying one bottle before committing to a multipack. Like most sweet e-liquids, it tends to leave a light residue on the coil, which we cover in the troubleshooting section.

Performance and puff delivery

A bottle of e-liquid does not have a puff count of its own, because the number of puffs depends on your device, your draw length and your wattage. We can still give a realistic range, because it is something people often want to know when comparing a bottle against a disposable vape.

As a working estimate, a 10ml bottle used in a typical mouth-to-lung pod kit gives somewhere in the region of 1,500 to 2,500 puffs. That assumes roughly 0.004ml to 0.006ml of liquid per puff, which is common at 10W to 15W with a 1.0 ohm mesh coil. If you take long draws or run a higher wattage, you will land at the lower end. If you take short, light draws at low power, you will land at the higher end. A 2ml pod filled from this bottle will usually last a light user a day or two, and a heavier user about half a day.

Throat hit and vapour

  • Throat hit: mild to moderate. At 10mg the salt nicotine is smooth, with a gentle tickle at the back of the throat rather than the sharp kick you may know from freebase.
  • Vapour production: modest. Nic salt liquids are designed for low-power devices, so clouds are smaller than you would see from a sub-ohm tank, but they are more than adequate for discreet, mouth-to-lung vaping.
  • Nicotine delivery: quick. Salts reach the bloodstream faster than freebase, so the feeling of satisfaction comes within the first few puffs.
  • Consistency: flavour stays reasonably steady through a pod, provided the wick is fully saturated and the coil is fresh.

Compared with a disposable vape, a bottled salt gives you more control. You can choose the device, change the coil, adjust the airflow and refill when you want rather than throwing the whole thing away. That control matters more than ever in the UK now that the sale of single-use disposable vapes has been banned across Great Britain since 1 June 2025. Before that date, disposables were limited to a 2ml liquid capacity and a 20mg/ml nicotine ceiling, and a bottle like this one lets you stay within the same nicotine band while using a rechargeable, refillable device.

If you find that puffs feel weak or the pod empties unusually quickly, the cause is nearly always the device settings or an ageing coil rather than the liquid. The troubleshooting section sets out how to check that.

Design and build quality of the bottle

The packaging on a bottle of e-liquid matters more than most people expect, because it affects how easily and cleanly you can fill a pod. This bottle follows the standard UK 10ml design: a soft, squeezable plastic body with a long, slim nozzle that fits into the fill port of most pod kits without needing a funnel.

The main build points are as follows.

  • Soft plastic body: the bottle can be squeezed gently to push liquid out. Squeeze slowly, because a fast squeeze can overfill a small pod and leave you with liquid in the airflow channel.
  • Narrow nozzle: a thin tip lets you aim precisely into small fill ports. This is helpful with compact pod systems whose openings are only a few millimetres wide.
  • Child-resistant cap: the cap needs a press-and-turn or squeeze-and-turn action to open. This is a legal safety requirement for nicotine e-liquids in the UK and is there to protect children and pets. It takes a moment to get used to, but it is worth keeping intact.
  • Tamper-evident ring: a breakable ring on the cap shows whether the bottle has been opened before you bought it.
  • Printed label: the label carries the nicotine strength, the health warning that nicotine is a highly addictive substance, batch information, ingredients and the contact details of the producer.

On the label you should also check the strength (it should read 10mg/ml or 1%), the volume (10ml) and the best-before date. Nicotine salts hold their quality well, and an unopened bottle stored properly commonly stays in good condition for a year or more, but the date printed on the bottle is the one to trust.

As with any plastic bottle of nicotine, the one real build weakness to watch for is cap tightness. If the bottle is squeezed in a bag or left upside down, a loose cap can seep. After each refill, press the cap fully home, wipe the nozzle with a tissue and keep the bottle upright. Store it in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources, and well out of the reach of children and pets. Do not decant the liquid into unlabelled containers.

When the bottle is empty, rinse it if your local council allows plastic recycling of small bottles, and check the local rules first, because the cap and nozzle are often made of mixed plastics. If nicotine residue remains inside, treat it with care and follow local guidance rather than pouring it down a drain.

Coil and mesh technology: which devices pair well with this salt

Nicotine salts are designed to perform in low-power devices, and the coil is the part that decides how well the liquid is turned into vapour. Understanding the basics helps you pick a kit that will do this e-liquid justice.

Most pod kits sold in the UK today use one of two coil styles. Traditional wire coils wrap resistance wire (often kanthal or nichrome) around a cotton wick. Mesh coils use a flat sheet of fine metal mesh pressed against the wick, which gives a larger heating surface area. Mesh generally heats faster and more evenly, which can make dessert flavours taste more consistent from the first puff to the last, and it often lasts a little longer between changes.

Recommended coil and power settings

  • Coil resistance: about 0.8 to 1.2 ohm is the usual range for nic salt mouth-to-lung use. A 1.0 ohm mesh coil is a good all-round fit.
  • Wattage: most pod kits fire at a fixed 8W to 15W, and many adjustable devices let you set up to around 18W. Stay in that range for this liquid.
  • Airflow: tight to medium. A restricted draw pulls the flavour onto your palate and mimics the feel of a cigarette. Opening the airflow wide dilutes the strawberry and cream and thins the nicotine hit.
  • Pod capacity: UK refillable pods are capped at 2ml for nicotine devices, so you will refill several times from a 10ml bottle.

Typical devices that suit this type of liquid include refillable pod systems from well-known UK brands such as Vaporesso, Oxva, Smok, Geek Vape and Uwell, among others. Closed pod systems with prefilled cartridges are a different category and are not used with bottled liquid, so make sure the device you own has a refillable pod. If you are unsure whether a coil suits salts, check the resistance printed on the coil or in the manual: coils below roughly 0.6 ohm are designed for much higher power and will overheat a salt liquid.

It is also worth knowing that the liquid thickness plays a part. Salt liquids are usually thinner than the high-VG liquids used in sub-ohm tanks, so they wick quickly through small coil holes. If a coil is fitted into a tank designed for thick liquid, you can see leaking, which is another reason to pair salts with a device marked as suitable for nic salts.

As a rule of thumb, replace the coil about every one to two weeks of regular use. Sweet dessert flavours leave caramelised residue on the heating surface faster than fruit-only or tobacco profiles do, and a tired coil is the most common reason a good liquid starts to taste flat or burnt.

Battery and charging: what to know about the device side

The e-liquid itself does not need charging, but the device you vape it in does, and the battery has a direct effect on how consistent your flavour is. Many pod kits sold in the UK carry batteries in the range of 400mAh to 1,000mAh, with larger pen-style devices reaching 1,500mAh or more. At 10W to 15W, a 1,000mAh battery will usually carry a moderate vaper through most of a day, while a 400mAh to 500mAh battery is better suited to a light user or someone who tops up during the day.

As a rough guide, you can estimate runtime by thinking about how much energy each puff takes. A three-second puff at 12W uses about 36 joules, and a 1,000mAh battery at 3.7V holds roughly 13,000 joules in theory. In real life, conversion losses and the battery's voltage drop mean you can expect something closer to 250 to 350 puffs per charge from a 1,000mAh device at this power, and proportionally fewer from a smaller battery. These are estimates rather than promises, because every device differs.

Charging habits that protect your battery and your safety

  • Use the cable that came with the device, or a reputable USB-C cable from a known brand. Cheap, unbranded cables are a common cause of poor charging.
  • Charge from a standard wall adapter or computer port rated for the right output, normally 5V and up to 1A or 2A for pod kits.
  • Do not leave the device charging unattended overnight, and do not charge it under a pillow or on a soft surface where heat can build up.
  • Avoid heat and cold extremes. Do not leave a device in a hot car or in direct sun, since lithium batteries can be damaged by high temperatures.
  • Stop using a device that swells, leaks, smells odd or becomes unusually hot, and take it to a proper disposal point.

Vaping batteries are lithium-ion cells, and they should never go in your general household bin. In the UK, retailers that sell vapes are required to offer free take-back for old devices, and many supermarkets and household waste recycling centres run battery and small electrical recycling points as well. The Recycle Your Electricals website lets you search for a drop-off point by postcode. If a device has a damaged or swollen battery, ask the collection point for advice before handing it over, because damaged lithium cells need to be handled with care.

A well-charged, healthy battery also affects flavour. As voltage drops near the end of a charge, the coil heats less and the strawberry and cream can taste thinner. If a fully charged device still seems weak, it is often the coil, not the battery, that needs replacing.

Who this e-liquid is for, and who should skip it

Not every vape suits every person, and it is better to know up front whether a product is a good fit. Here is an honest view of who is likely to enjoy this bottle and who is likely to be disappointed.

Likely to suit:

  • Adult smokers who want to switch. Salt nicotine at 10mg gives a recognisable nicotine effect without the harshness of high-strength freebase, which can help people who are trying to move away from cigarettes.
  • Former disposable-vape users. If you vaped fruit and cream disposables before the ban and now want a refillable setup, this style of flavour will feel familiar.
  • Dessert flavour fans. People who enjoy sweet, creamy profiles are likely to be comfortable with this one through a whole bottle.
  • Owners of a low-power pod kit. This liquid is made to be used in the exact kind of device many people already own.
  • Light to moderate vapers. At 10mg, you can take a few puffs when you need them without overshooting.

Probably not for you:

  • Anyone who has never smoked or vaped. This is a nicotine product, nicotine is addictive, and it should not be used by people who do not already use nicotine. It is also strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
  • People who want a large cloud. A salt liquid in a pod kit makes modest vapour. If clouds matter to you, a freebase high-VG liquid in a sub-ohm tank is the right category, and not this one.
  • Those who dislike sweet vapes. This is a dessert flavour with noticeable sweetness. If you prefer tobacco, mint or tart fruit, look elsewhere.
  • Heavy smokers needing more nicotine. If you smoked 20 or more cigarettes a day, 10mg may leave you wanting more, and a 20mg version of a similar flavour could be a better fit, assuming you vape within the UK limit.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding people, and people with heart conditions or other medical concerns. Nicotine is not recommended in these situations without medical advice, so speak with your GP or pharmacist.

If your goal is to stop smoking altogether, remember that vaping is only one option. The NHS runs free stop smoking services, and licensed nicotine replacement products such as patches and gum are available from pharmacies. Vaping products sold at retail are not medicines, so they cannot be promoted as a cure or a treatment, and we would encourage you to seek professional support if you are struggling to quit.

How to use: filling, priming and vaping

Using a bottled nic salt is simple, but a few habits make a real difference to flavour and to how long your coil lasts. Follow these steps the first time you use a new coil or a new bottle.

The numbered steps below apply to most refillable pod kits.

  • 1. Check the device is switched off or unplugged. Remove the pod from the battery section if your kit allows it.
  • 2. Open the fill port. Most pods have a silicone plug that you pull or slide aside. Hold the pod upright.
  • 3. Open the bottle. Press and turn the child-resistant cap, then place the nozzle in the fill port.
  • 4. Fill slowly. Squeeze gently and fill to just below the maximum line. Do not cover the central airflow tube, and do not overfill.
  • 5. Close the port and wipe the pod. Reseal the plug fully and clean any stray liquid off the outside.
  • 6. Wait five to ten minutes. A brand new coil needs time for the wick to soak up the liquid. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a burnt first puff.
  • 7. Take a few primer draws without firing. Pull on the mouthpiece a couple of times with the device inactive to draw liquid onto the wick.
  • 8. Start at a low power. Take gentle puffs of two to three seconds. Increase power only if the flavour feels thin.

Nicotine salts do not need to be steeped. Unlike some homemade or high-flavour liquids that improve with age, a salt e-liquid is ready as soon as you open it. A quick shake of the closed bottle before filling helps to mix any settled ingredients, and that is all that is needed.

Everyday tips

  • Keep the pod at least a quarter full. Vaping with a nearly empty pod leads to dry hits and a burnt coil.
  • Take your time between puffs. Chain vaping heats the coil beyond what the wick can resupply, particularly with thicker, sweeter liquids.
  • Wash your hands after refilling, and clean up any spilled liquid straight away, as nicotine can be absorbed through the skin.
  • Use a single flavour per pod where possible. Mixing leftovers from different bottles muddies both flavours and can leave residue in the pod.
  • Always store the bottle upright, with the cap fully closed, in a cool place away from children and pets.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with e-liquids are not caused by the liquid itself but by the coil, the device settings or the way the pod has been filled. Here are the issues people report most often and the usual fixes.

Burnt or acrid taste

  • The coil may not have been given time to soak after a fill. Wait five to ten minutes and take a few unpowered draws.
  • The coil may be at the end of its life. Sweet dessert liquids build up residue, so try fitting a fresh coil.
  • The pod may have run too low. Refill before the liquid drops below the coil level.
  • The power may be set too high. Drop the wattage by a couple of watts.

Weak or muted flavour

  • You may be experiencing vaper's tongue, a temporary dulling of taste after vaping the same flavour for hours. Drink some water, try a different flavour for a day or have a break.
  • The coil may be worn. A fresh coil usually restores the strawberry note immediately.
  • The battery may be low. Charge it fully and try again.
  • The airflow may be too open. Tighten it to concentrate the flavour.

Gurgling, spitting or leaking

  • Overfilling is the main cause. Fill only to the marked line and keep the pod upright between uses.
  • Condensation can gather in the airflow tube. Blow gently through the mouthpiece with the device off, then wipe it clean.
  • Check the seals and the silicone fill plug. A plug that is not fully seated can let air in and push liquid out.
  • Check that the coil is screwed or pushed fully into its seat.

Throat hit feels too strong

  • Lower the wattage and shorten your draws.
  • Open the airflow slightly for a looser draw.
  • If it still feels harsh, you may be better with a lower strength such as 5mg or 6mg salt.

Throat hit feels too weak or you are not satisfied

  • Slow the draw and hold the vapour in your mouth for a second before inhaling.
  • Check that the coil resistance is suited to salts, around 0.8 to 1.2 ohm.
  • Consider moving to 20mg if you are within your own comfort and cravings persist.

If the device does not fire at all, check that the pod is seated correctly, that the contacts are clean and that the battery is charged. If a problem persists after changing the coil and checking the settings, contact the device manufacturer or our support team. Never try to open or repair a battery yourself.

Value for money and honest comparisons

Value is about more than the sticker price, and with nic salts the useful figure is the cost per day of vaping, not the cost per bottle. A 10ml bottle used by a moderate mouth-to-lung vaper commonly lasts somewhere between three and seven days, depending on how often you puff and what power you use. Check the current price on the product page, and look out for multi-buy deals, because many UK retailers discount when you buy several bottles at once. As a general reference, 10ml nic salt bottles from mainstream UK brands commonly cost somewhere in the region of two to five pounds.

Compared with disposables, a refillable setup is usually cheaper over time. A disposable that was priced around the same as a couple of bottles used to deliver a few hundred to a few thousand puffs and then went in the bin. A single 10ml bottle gives a broadly similar number of puffs, and you keep the device. The device does cost money up front, but a basic pod kit often pays for itself within a few weeks.

How it compares with other nic salt ranges

  • Elfliq by Elf Bar: a widely stocked 10ml salt range with many fruit and ice flavours that mirror the profiles of the disposables that made the parent brand popular. It leans on fruit and chilled flavours, whereas this Mix Lab Salts flavour is creamier and does not rely on menthol.
  • IVG Salts: a large range with a very broad flavour list and competitive pricing. If you want the widest choice, IVG has more variety, though the dessert recipes can differ in how much cream they carry.
  • Dinner Lady Salts: a range often aimed at flavour depth and layered recipes, normally at a higher price point. It may suit someone who values complexity and is willing to pay more.
  • Pod Salt and similar pod-focused brands: these are tuned for pod kits and give clean, reliable flavour, sometimes with a more refined throat feel. They may cost more per bottle.

We think Mix Lab Salts Strawberry Ice Cream earns its place as a sensible mid-range option for people who like sweet strawberry cream. It is not the most complex flavour in the category, and if you want a layered or sharply defined recipe you will probably find more depth in premium ranges. If a lower price matters most, a budget salt from a larger brand may cost less, though the flavour quality and consistency can vary more.

A fair summary is that the bottle offers solid, uncomplicated value for a familiar flavour. It does not promise anything beyond what a 10mg strawberry cream salt should deliver, and for many vapers that is exactly what is wanted. If you are trying it for the first time, buy a single bottle, give it a week and then decide whether to stock up.

UK rules, safe storage and recycling

E-liquids and vaping devices are regulated in the UK, and knowing the key rules helps you buy safely and use products legally. This section covers the main points for anyone buying a bottle like this one.

Legal basics

  • Age limit: you must be 18 or over to buy nicotine vaping products in the UK. Retailers are required to verify age, and you may be asked for ID on delivery.
  • Nicotine cap: the maximum strength is 20mg/ml (2%) for all nicotine e-liquids and disposables. This bottle, at 10mg/ml, is half of that limit.
  • Bottle size: nicotine e-liquid bottles are limited to 10ml, and refillable tanks and pods to 2ml, which is why you refill small pods from a small bottle.
  • Packaging: bottles must be child-resistant and tamper-evident and must carry the required health warning.
  • Disposables: single-use disposable vapes have been banned from sale in Great Britain since 1 June 2025, so refillable and rechargeable devices are now the normal way to vape.

Rules can change and can differ slightly between the nations of the UK, so check the government's guidance if you need up-to-date detail.

Safe storage and handling

  • Keep bottles upright, closed and out of sight and reach of children and pets.
  • Store them away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • If liquid touches your skin, wash it off with soap and water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
  • Never refill from an unlabelled bottle or mix liquids of unknown origin.

Recycling and drop-off points

Vape devices, batteries and empty pods should not go in household bins or ordinary recycling. Under UK electrical waste rules, shops that sell vapes must offer to take back used devices free of charge, and many household waste recycling centres accept small electricals and batteries too. You can search by postcode on the Recycle Your Electricals website. Empty 10ml bottles are small plastic items; check with your local council whether they accept them and whether the bottle should be rinsed first, because rules vary between areas.

Disposing of vaping waste responsibly reduces fire risk in bin lorries and recycling plants and keeps valuable materials in use. It takes a minute, and it is worth building into your routine whenever you change a device or battery.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Best value per ml in the category
  • Choose your own device and coil
  • Available in a wide strength ladder

Cons

  • Refilling can leak if you overfill
  • Coil priming has a small learning curve
  • You handle the bottle — less discreet than pods

Customer Buying Tips

  • Match the strength to how much you smoked: 20+/day → 10-20 mg nic salt; 10/day → 10 mg; under 5/day → 3-6 mg freebase.
  • Match the ratio to your device: pod kits take 50/50, sub-ohm tanks take 70/30 shortfill.
  • Don't overfill: leaving the airhole clear prevents gurgling and leaking.
  • Shake before use so the nicotine and flavour integrate evenly.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose 10mg or 20mg nicotine strength?

10mg suits light to moderate vapers and people who smoked up to around ten cigarettes a day, while 20mg is more likely to suit heavier former smokers. If you are unsure, start with 10mg and move up only if cravings stay strong after a week. The UK limit is 20mg/ml, so 10mg is half the legal maximum.

How do I charge it?

The e-liquid itself does not charge, because it is simply the liquid that goes into your refillable pod kit. Charge your device with the supplied USB-C cable or a reputable replacement, and avoid leaving it plugged in unattended overnight. When a battery reaches the end of its life, take it to a retailer take-back scheme or a household recycling centre.

Can I swap to a different flavour, and are there other variants?

Yes. Rinse or replace the pod when changing flavours to avoid ghosting, where the old taste lingers, and fit a fresh coil if you want the cleanest result. The Mix Lab Salts range is sold in a variety of flavours and strengths, so check the product listing for what is currently in stock.

How long does a 10ml bottle last?

For a moderate mouth-to-lung vaper, a 10ml bottle commonly lasts around three to seven days, or roughly 1,500 to 2,500 puffs. Heavier use, longer draws and higher wattage shorten that, and lighter use extends it. The bottle holds 100mg of nicotine in total at 10mg/ml.

Is it good value compared with disposables?

A refillable setup is usually cheaper than buying disposables over time, because you pay once for the device and then only for bottles and the occasional coil. Single-use disposables have also been banned from sale in Great Britain since 1 June 2025. Check the product page for the current price and any multi-buy offers.

Who should and shouldn't buy this e-liquid?

It is aimed at adult smokers and existing vapers who enjoy sweet, creamy strawberry flavours and use a low-power pod kit. It is not for anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who have never used nicotine. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a heart condition, speak to your GP or pharmacist before using any nicotine product.

Can I use it in a sub-ohm tank or a high-wattage device?

We do not recommend it. Nic salt liquids are made for low-power mouth-to-lung devices, typically 8W to 18W with coils of about 0.8 to 1.2 ohm. In a high-wattage sub-ohm tank, the nicotine hit would be harsh and the bottle would empty very quickly.

Do I need to steep it before use?

No. Nicotine salt e-liquids are ready to use as soon as you open the bottle. Give the closed bottle a gentle shake, fill your pod, and let a fresh coil soak for five to ten minutes before you start.

What are the UK delivery arrangements?

We deliver within the UK only, and because this is a nicotine product, you must be 18 or over and may be asked to prove your age. Delivery options and timescales are shown at checkout and on our delivery information page, so please check those for current details.

What is the warranty and returns position?

E-liquids do not carry a manufacturer warranty in the way devices do, but if your bottle arrives damaged, leaking or not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and a photo. For opened bottles, hygiene and safety considerations limit what we can accept back, so please read our returns policy before ordering. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
