Overview: Ohm Brew Nic Salts Loco Lemon 10ml 18mg

Ohm Brew Nic Salts Loco Lemon is a 10ml bottle of nicotine salt e-liquid at 18mg/ml, built around a tangy lemon flavour. It is a refill liquid, not a ready-made device. You pour it into a rechargeable pod kit or a low-power refillable device, and the kit does the vaping. That distinction shapes everything else on this page, because puff count, battery life, coil life and throat feel all depend on the device you choose as much as on the liquid itself.

This guide is written for UK adult smokers and existing vapers who want to know whether this particular bottle suits them. We cover the flavour, how nicotine salts behave, which devices and coils make sense, how long a bottle tends to last, what to do when something goes wrong, and how the value compares with other options. Where we are estimating rather than quoting a manufacturer figure, we say so plainly.

The headline specifications for this listing are:

  • Brand: Ohm (Ohm Brew nic salt range)
  • Product type: nicotine salt e-liquid, refill format
  • Bottle size: 10ml, which is the maximum bottle size for nicotine e-liquid sold in the UK
  • Nicotine strength: 18mg/ml (1.8%), which works out at 180mg of nicotine across the whole bottle
  • Flavour: Loco Lemon, a lemon-led citrus profile
  • Nicotine form: nicotine salt, designed to feel smoother than freebase nicotine at higher strengths
  • Best matched to: pod kits and low-wattage mouth-to-lung (MTL) devices

The 10ml size is a legal ceiling more than a design choice. If you want to vape in larger volumes you would be looking at nicotine-free shortfills combined with separate nicotine shots, which is a different way of vaping and gives you a different strength result. For pod-style devices, a 10ml nic salt bottle is the standard format.

The base of a nic salt liquid is usually weighted towards propylene glycol (PG) or a balanced 50/50 mix of PG and vegetable glycerine (VG). That keeps the liquid thin enough to feed the small coils found in pod systems. The exact ratio and the full ingredient list are printed on the bottle label, and we suggest reading the label when your order arrives, especially if you are sensitive to PG or to any flavouring ingredient.

Important: nicotine is addictive. This product is intended for adults who already smoke or vape and want an alternative to cigarettes. It is not for anyone under 18 and it is not recommended for non-smokers.

Flavour profile: what to expect from Loco Lemon

Loco Lemon is a citrus flavour, and the name tells you where the producer is aiming: a bold, lively lemon rather than a subtle background note. Flavour is subjective and we describe this one from the category and the name rather than from a manufacturer tasting note, so treat the following as a guide to what lemon e-liquids of this type usually deliver, not a guarantee of exactly how this bottle will taste to you.

On the inhale, expect a bright, tangy lemon note. Good lemon e-liquids tend to split into two camps. Some lean towards lemonade or lemon sherbet, with a sweetened, slightly fizzy character. Others lean towards zest or lemon tart, with a drier, more peel-like bite. Loco Lemon reads as the more playful, sweeter-tart end of that range, though the sweetness level is something you will judge for yourself on the first fill.

On the exhale, lemon flavours usually fade quickly and leave a clean, slightly sharp finish rather than a heavy, lingering sweetness. That makes them popular with vapers who find dessert and candy flavours cloying after a few hours. Citrus is often described as refreshing, and many people reach for it in warm weather or as a palate reset between richer flavours.

Nicotine salts change how flavour comes across in a few ways:

  • Smoother throat feel: because nic salts are less harsh than freebase nicotine, the tangy lemon note is not competing with a scratchy throat hit, so the flavour is easier to notice.
  • Cooler vapour helps: lemon tastes cleaner at low to moderate temperatures. Running a pod kit at its lower power setting often tastes better than pushing it hot.
  • Sharpness scales with power: turn the wattage up and the acidic edge of citrus becomes more pronounced, sometimes tipping from tangy into sour.

If you are new to citrus liquids, note that tartness can feel stronger in the first few puffs and then settle as your palate adjusts. If a lemon flavour seems too sharp initially, give it two or three fills before deciding. If you are already confident you dislike sour flavours, this is probably not the bottle for you, and a sweeter fruit or a menthol blend would be a safer pick.

One practical flavour tip: lemon is a delicate note and it shows up other flavours that have been in the same pod. If you are switching from tobacco, coffee or a heavy dessert flavour, rinse the pod and consider a fresh coil, otherwise you may taste ghosting from the previous liquid mixed into the lemon. Each flavour in the Ohm Brew range is sold as its own listing, so you can try Loco Lemon without committing to a large order.

Performance and puff delivery with an 18mg nic salt

Performance with a nic salt liquid is about nicotine delivery, flavour and consistency rather than cloud size. If you are looking for dense, billowing vapour, this is the wrong format. If you want a compact, discreet puff that delivers nicotine efficiently, it is the right one.

Throat hit. Nicotine salts are formulated with an acid (commonly benzoic acid) that lowers the pH of the liquid. The result is a smoother throat feel at a given strength compared with freebase nicotine. That is why 18mg nic salt is manageable in a pod kit whereas 18mg freebase would be unpleasantly harsh for most people. The throat hit on this liquid will be noticeable but not scratchy at the right wattage, and a little firmer than a 10mg salt of the same flavour.

Nicotine delivery. Salts are absorbed relatively quickly, which many ex-smokers find closer to the speed of a cigarette than low-strength freebase liquids. This is the main reason people choose a salt: a few puffs can take the edge off a craving, so you do not need to vape constantly. It is also why it is easy to overdo, and we cover pacing in the nicotine strength section below.

Vapour production. Expect modest, tight clouds. In a typical mouth-to-lung pod kit running a 0.8 to 1.2 ohm coil at roughly 8 to 15 watts, the vapour is light and dissipates fast. That is a feature in public places and for people who want discretion, though you should always follow venue rules on where vaping is allowed.

Consistency across a bottle. With a liquid this thin, wicking is generally reliable, so flavour should stay steady from the first fill to the last as long as your coil is healthy. If flavour drops off mid-bottle, the cause is almost always a tired coil or a pod that needs a clean, not the liquid changing.

Puff counts, honestly. A bottle of e-liquid does not have a puff count in the way a sealed device does. You may see 600 or 800 puffs quoted on pre-filled products, but those are manufacturer estimates based on machine tests. With your own kit, the number depends on your draw length, wattage, coil resistance and how often you vape. As a working estimate, a 10ml bottle in an MTL pod kit gives roughly 1,500 to 3,000 puffs for most people. We break down the arithmetic in the longevity section.

What you will not get from this liquid is large-volume vapour or a high-airflow, sub-ohm style hit. If that is what you prefer, you would want a lower-strength liquid in a different device, not an 18mg salt.

Nicotine strength guidance: is 18mg right for you?

Choosing the right strength is the single most important decision with a nic salt. Too low and you will chain-vape without feeling satisfied; too high and you can feel dizzy, nauseous or jittery. The figures below are common rules of thumb used across the vaping industry, not medical advice, and individual needs vary widely.

  • 20mg/ml: the UK legal maximum. Usually chosen by heavy smokers, often those who smoked 20 or more cigarettes a day or who had their first cigarette soon after waking.
  • 18mg/ml: a high strength for people who smoked roughly 15 to 20 cigarettes a day and want a strong first-step alternative. This is the strength of this listing.
  • 10mg to 12mg/ml: a medium strength for lighter or social smokers, or for people stepping down from higher strengths.
  • 5mg to 6mg/ml: low strength for those who are close to quitting nicotine altogether or who find higher strengths too intense.

The UK cap of 20mg/ml applies to all nicotine e-liquids, and it also covers prefilled devices that were historically sold as disposables. Because the cap is a maximum, not a target, 18mg is a strong liquid sitting just below the legal limit. Treat it accordingly.

Here are signs that 18mg may be too strong for you:

  • You feel lightheaded, sweaty or queasy after a few puffs.
  • Your throat feels sore or you cough on every draw even at low wattage.
  • You find yourself vaping far more because the effect wears off quickly and then you feel a rush each time.

And signs that it may be the wrong strength in the other direction:

  • You are still reaching for a cigarette after a full day of vaping.
  • You are emptying a 2ml pod in a few hours and still feel unsatisfied.

If you are moving from smoking and you are unsure, many people find it sensible to start at the strength that matches their smoking habit, then adjust within the first week. If you have never smoked, nicotine at this strength is not suitable. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a heart condition, high blood pressure or any other health concern, speak to your GP or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

One caution about the numbers: a nic salt at 18mg does not feel equal to a freebase liquid at 18mg. The salt is smoother and delivers faster, so many first-time salt users find it feels stronger than the label suggests even though the throat hit is gentler. Pace yourself on the first day, and remember that a lower-strength version of the same flavour is usually available if you need to step down.

Devices, coil types and mesh: what to use it in

This liquid is designed for low-power, mouth-to-lung devices. In practice that means a refillable pod kit, a slim pen-style starter kit with a small tank, or a compatible refillable pod from a popular system. It is not intended for high-power sub-ohm tanks.

Recommended coil resistance. For an 18mg salt, look for coils in the range of roughly 0.8 to 1.6 ohm. Many pod kits ship with 0.8, 1.0 or 1.2 ohm coils, which suit nicotine salts well. Lower-resistance coils (below 0.6 ohm) are designed to run at higher power and, when paired with a high-strength salt, deliver far more nicotine per puff than most people want.

Recommended power. Most pod kits operate between about 8 and 15 watts. Many have a fixed output, others have a few adjustable steps. If your device has adjustable wattage, start at the lower end and move up gradually. Lemon tastes cleaner when it is not overheated.

Coil types you will encounter:

  • Mesh coils: a flat mesh of metal wire gives a large heating surface. Benefits include quick warm-up, even heating and good flavour definition. They are a good fit for citrus flavours that benefit from consistent heat, and they tend to last well as long as you avoid dry hits.
  • Standard wire coils with cotton wick: the traditional design. They are widely available, usually the cheapest to replace and work well at the low power levels suited to nic salts.
  • Ceramic coils: a porous ceramic core that is popular in some closed-pod systems. They are often praised for flavour purity and low risk of burnt cotton, though the wicking rate can be slower with thicker liquids. Thin nic salts suit them well.

Avoid high-VG, thick liquids in small pod coils. This is the reverse of the usual concern, but it is worth saying that this bottle is a thin, nic salt style base. It is appropriate for small coils. Do not mix it with thick 70VG liquids in a pod kit and expect good wicking.

Do not use it in a sub-ohm tank. At 40 to 100 watts, you would be inhaling a large volume of vapour containing 18mg/ml nicotine. That delivers a very high dose of nicotine and an uncomfortable throat hit. If you move to a sub-ohm setup, choose a much lower-strength, freebase liquid.

Check the pod material. Citrus and other acidic flavours can show up weaknesses in cheap plastic pods over time. Look for cracks or cloudiness in the pod window, and replace the pod if you see any. If you notice the pod leaking around the base, it is worth replacing it before the liquid affects your device's contacts.

Battery and charging for the kit you pair it with

An e-liquid has no battery of its own, so the battery section is really about the device you will use with Loco Lemon. A bit of context on typical hardware helps you plan how often you will be charging and refilling.

Common pod kits use built-in lithium batteries with capacities that typically fall between 400mAh and 1,000mAh. Slimmer pens sit at the lower end, while larger pod mods sit higher. Output power is usually modest, in the range of 8 to 15 watts, which draws little from the battery per puff. In practical terms:

  • A 400 to 500mAh kit will usually last a light to moderate user a day, and a heavier user perhaps half a day.
  • A 800 to 1,000mAh kit will often last one to two days for moderate use.
  • Charging is usually via USB-C and takes roughly 30 to 90 minutes depending on battery size and the charger used.

Pods commonly hold 2ml, which is the UK maximum tank size. A 10ml bottle therefore fills a 2ml pod five times. If your kit has a 2ml pod and a 500mAh battery, a typical rhythm for a moderate user is one charge and two to three fills per day, although this varies a lot.

Safe charging practice matters whichever device you use:

  • Use the cable that came with the kit, or a reputable replacement, and a standard 5V USB adapter or computer port.
  • Do not leave a device charging unattended or overnight on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa.
  • Stop using any device with a swollen, hot, damaged or leaking battery and dispose of it safely.
  • Do not carry loose devices in a pocket alongside coins or keys.
  • Wipe away any spilled e-liquid from the charging port before plugging in. Liquid in a charging port is one of the most common causes of intermittent charging faults.

When a device comes to the end of its life, do not put it in household rubbish or general recycling. Lithium batteries can start fires in bin lorries and recycling plants. Take used vape devices, pods that contain batteries or electronic parts, and cables to a household waste recycling centre or to a retailer that offers a vape take-back service. Many shops that sell vaping products are required to take back waste electrical items, so it is worth asking at the counter.

Bottle design, build quality and UK packaging rules

Because this is an e-liquid, build quality means the bottle, cap, label and sealing rather than a device chassis. A well-designed nic salt bottle makes refilling a pod cleaner and safer, and the rules in the UK shape what you will see.

Bottle and nozzle. Ten-millilitre nic salt bottles are usually soft plastic so you can squeeze gently to dispense, with a slim nozzle that fits into pod fill ports. Hold the bottle upright over the port, squeeze slowly and stop as the liquid approaches the fill line. If your pod has a particularly small port, hold the nozzle at a slight angle and use short squeezes to avoid overflow. Dispensing too fast creates air bubbles that can flood the pod's central airflow tube.

Child-resistant cap and tamper-evident seal. UK regulations require nicotine e-liquid bottles to carry child-resistant closures and a tamper-evident feature, usually a ring or seal that breaks when first opened. If a bottle arrives with a broken seal or a cap that is cracked, contact the retailer straight away and do not use it.

Label information. A compliant label should carry the product name, nicotine strength, volume, ingredient list, batch or lot code, the producer's contact details and a mandatory health warning stating that the product contains nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance. Check these details when your bottle arrives. The batch code is particularly useful if you ever need to report a problem.

Key UK legal limits for nicotine vaping products:

  • Maximum nicotine strength of 20mg/ml.
  • Maximum bottle size of 10ml for nicotine e-liquid.
  • Maximum tank or pod capacity of 2ml.
  • Products must be notified to the regulator before being sold, and customers must be 18 or over.

These rules explain why the market is dominated by 10ml nic salts and 2ml pods. They also explain the shift away from single-use vapes. Single-use disposable vapes were banned from sale across the UK from 1 June 2025, which pushed many former disposable users towards refillable and rechargeable kits and bottles like this one. Always check the latest rules, as regulation in this area continues to evolve.

Storage and recycling. Keep the bottle upright with the cap tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat, and out of reach of children and pets. Nicotine liquid is toxic if swallowed or if it gets on the skin in quantity, so wipe up spills promptly and wash your hands after refilling. Empty bottles can usually go in household plastic recycling once rinsed, but check your local council guidance, since some areas treat nicotine residue differently. Batteries and electronic parts always belong in a proper drop-off point.

How to use: filling, priming and your first puffs

Getting a clean first fill makes a big difference to flavour and coil life. This step-by-step routine works for most refillable pod kits. Always follow the instructions that came with your specific device where they differ.

  • Step 1: Prepare. Wash and dry your hands. Make sure the device is switched off or unplugged from the charger. Work over a clean surface in case of drips.
  • Step 2: Open the pod. Remove the pod from the device and open the fill port, which is usually a silicone plug on the side or underside. Do not touch the coil contacts more than necessary.
  • Step 3: Fill. Squeeze the bottle slowly into the fill port. Aim for the side of the pod wall so the liquid runs down gently, and avoid pouring directly onto the central airflow tube. Stop at or just below the maximum line. Overfilling is the main cause of leaks and gurgling.
  • Step 4: Close and wipe. Press the plug in firmly and wipe any liquid from the outside of the pod.
  • Step 5: Prime the coil. Let the filled pod sit upright for around five minutes, or ten if the coil is new. The cotton or ceramic core needs time to absorb liquid. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a burnt taste on the first puff.
  • Step 6: Take gentle first draws. Reinsert the pod. Take two or three short, light draws without firing for too long, then settle into your normal rhythm.

Drawing technique. Nic salts are designed for mouth-to-lung inhaling. Draw the vapour into your mouth first, pause briefly, then inhale into the lungs. Slow, steady draws of two to three seconds work well. Long, hard pulls overheat the coil, dull the lemon flavour and deliver more nicotine than you intended.

Do you need to steep it? Nic salts generally do not need steeping the way some freebase liquids do. Once you have primed the coil, the liquid is ready to vape. If a bottle has been stored somewhere cold, let it come to room temperature before filling so it flows properly.

Switching flavours. If you move to or from another flavour, empty the pod, rinse it with warm water, let it dry completely, and consider a fresh coil if the previous flavour was strong. Lemon is delicate enough to pick up ghost flavours from what was in the pod before.

Pacing yourself. On the first day with 18mg, take a few puffs, then wait. Your body takes a few minutes to register the effect. If you feel lightheaded, stop, drink some water and consider a lower strength.

Who this e-liquid is for, and who should skip it

Good products are good for specific people. Here is an honest look at who tends to get on well with Loco Lemon 18mg nic salt, and who would be better served by something else.

Likely to suit:

  • Adult smokers switching to vaping. Particularly moderate to heavy smokers who want a strength that satisfies cravings without needing constant puffing.
  • Former disposable users. If you are moving from prefilled vapes to a rechargeable pod kit, a 10ml nic salt bottle is the most direct replacement, often with lower running costs.
  • Citrus and sour-flavour fans. If you like lemonade, sherbet or fruit-tart flavours, a lemon-led e-liquid fits naturally.
  • People who value discretion. The low vapour output of a pod and salt combination is easier to manage in everyday situations.
  • Vapers who like variety. Buying a 10ml bottle lets you try a single flavour without committing to a large order or a full device.

Probably not for you:

  • Non-smokers and anyone under 18. Nicotine is addictive and this product is not made for them. It is illegal to sell nicotine vaping products to under 18s in the UK.
  • People who want low nicotine. If you vape for flavour or habit rather than nicotine, 18mg is too strong. Choose a 5mg or 10mg option or a freebase liquid at a low strength.
  • Cloud chasers and sub-ohm users. This liquid is the wrong strength and base for high-power devices.
  • People who dislike tart or acidic flavours. Citrus can be sharp, and no amount of tuning will turn a lemon flavour into a smooth dessert note.
  • Anyone advised against nicotine by a medical professional. That includes people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and people with certain heart conditions. Ask your GP or pharmacist.
  • People with known sensitivities to PG. Most nic salts rely on a PG-heavy base. If you have reacted to propylene glycol in the past, check the label carefully or consult a professional.

If you are not sure which camp you fall into, a useful test is to ask what you want the product to do. If the answer is replace cigarettes, deliver a satisfying hit and taste of lemon, this bottle matches. If the answer is blow big clouds or taste something creamy and sweet, look elsewhere.

How long will a 10ml bottle last?

This is the question most buyers want answered, and it is the one where honest estimates matter more than marketing claims. Because the bottle is a refill rather than a sealed device, how long it lasts is determined by your habits.

Start with the arithmetic. A 10ml bottle fills a 2ml pod five times. Light users of nic salts, such as someone who vapes mostly after meals or in social situations, may use around 1ml a day, which makes a bottle last about ten days. Moderate users often get through 2ml a day, giving about five days. Heavy users who vape throughout the day, or who are replacing a 20-a-day smoking habit, can use 3ml or more a day, meaning a bottle lasts around three days.

  • Light use (about 1ml/day): roughly 10 days per bottle.
  • Moderate use (about 2ml/day): roughly 5 days per bottle.
  • Heavy use (about 3ml/day): roughly 3 days per bottle.

Converting this to puffs is an estimate. In a typical MTL pod kit, a draw uses somewhere around 0.003ml to 0.007ml of liquid, so one millilitre represents on the order of 150 to 300 puffs. At that rate a 10ml bottle gives roughly 1,500 to 3,000 puffs. Real-world figures drift either side of that range depending on coil resistance, power, draw length and how much liquid is lost to coil priming or leaks.

For context, a typical 2ml prefilled vape with a headline claim of 600 puffs holds one fifth of the liquid in this bottle. If you were buying five of them, you would get 10ml of liquid in total, and a lot more packaging and electronics to throw away. The nicotine content is also a useful comparison: 2ml at 20mg/ml is 40mg of nicotine, whereas this bottle holds 180mg across 10ml, which is why a bottle goes much further in cost terms.

Coil life. The coil in your pod is a consumable. Most last between one and three weeks depending on use, though sweeter liquids shorten that and tangy citrus is usually kind to coils. You will know it needs replacing when flavour dulls, the vapour thins or you notice a burnt taste even with a fresh fill. Do not stretch a coil beyond that point, as it affects both flavour and how much liquid you waste.

Shelf life. An unopened bottle stored cool and dark will typically stay in good condition for a year or more. Once opened, aim to use it within a few months for best flavour, since light, heat and air gradually dull citrus notes first.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with a nic salt in a pod kit are easy to fix once you know the cause. Here is a quick guide to the issues we see most often.

  • Burnt or acrid taste. Usually a dry hit from a coil that has not been primed, or one that has reached the end of its life. Let the pod sit for five to ten minutes after filling, take shorter puffs, and if the problem persists, replace the coil. Do not keep vaping through a burnt taste.
  • Weak or washed-out lemon flavour. Check the coil first, since it is the most likely culprit. Then check that you are not vaping too hot or too cold. If you have switched from a strong flavour, the old liquid can mask the new one, so rinse the pod.
  • Leaking from the pod. Common causes are overfilling, a loose plug, a cracked pod or a worn seal. Fill to just below the maximum line, press the plug in fully, wipe the outside and store the device upright. Replace the pod if it cracks or leaks again.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Excess liquid in the airflow path. Remove the pod, wipe the mouthpiece and blow lightly through it to clear the passage. Avoid overfilling next time.
  • Throat hit too harsh. Lower the wattage if your device allows it, take slower and shorter puffs, or move to a lower strength such as 10mg or 12mg.
  • Lightheaded, nauseous or shaky. Signs of too much nicotine. Stop vaping, sit down, drink water and have something to eat. Consider a lower strength next time and pace yourself.
  • Device does not fire or charge. Check the pod is seated properly, the contacts are clean and dry, and the battery is charged. Spilled e-liquid in the connection or charging port is a frequent cause of faults. Clean carefully with a dry cotton bud.
  • Flavour fatigue. Sometimes called vaper's tongue, this is when a flavour you enjoy seems to fade. Switch to a different flavour for a few days, drink water and avoid heavily sweetened drinks while vaping. Lemon is particularly prone to being masked by this, so a short break often brings it back.
  • Liquid looks darker or smells different. Nic salts can darken slightly over time as they oxidise, which is usually harmless, but a strong change in smell or taste suggests the bottle is past its best. If in doubt, do not use it.

If you have tried these fixes and the problem continues, stop using the liquid and contact the retailer, quoting the batch code from the label. Do not keep using a product that makes you feel unwell.

Value for money and how it compares

Value is about cost per unit of use, not just the sticker price. We do not quote a price here because retail prices change, but the structure of the comparison stays the same and you can plug in the current figure from the product page.

Cost per millilitre. Divide the price by 10 to get a cost per ml. Then multiply by your daily use. A moderate user at 2ml a day needs about two and a half bottles a fortnight. Compare that figure with what you currently spend on cigarettes or prefilled vapes over the same period.

Against single-use vapes. This is the most useful comparison for many readers. Single-use vapes are no longer legally sold in the UK, but many people used them for years and are now choosing refillable kits. With a refill route you pay for liquid and an occasional coil rather than a new battery, plastic casing and PCB each time. The running cost per day is usually lower, the environmental waste is smaller and you can change flavour and strength as you like. The trade-off is that you manage filling, charging and coil changes yourself.

Against other 10ml nic salt ranges. Several brands produce 10ml nic salts in the UK, including lines such as Elfliq, Nasty Salt, Dinner Lady Salts, IVG Salt and Pod Salt. We have not run formal side-by-side testing of every one and it would be unfair to claim a winner. In general, price per bottle across mainstream ranges is fairly close, so the useful differences are flavour accuracy, the range of strengths and flavours available, and whether you can find a multi-buy deal. If you like lemon flavours and want a straightforward 18mg option, Loco Lemon is a reasonable one to try, but you may prefer another brand's take on lemon, and that is a matter of taste rather than quality.

Against freebase liquids. Standard 3mg or 6mg freebase liquids are cheaper per bottle and typically come in larger sizes through shortfills. They work in sub-ohm or higher-power setups and produce more vapour. However, they do not satisfy heavy smokers' nicotine needs in a pod kit, and 18mg freebase would be too harsh. If you want maximum cloud and low nicotine, freebase is the better route; if you want a compact, nicotine-forward vape, salts are.

Honest drawbacks. A 10ml bottle is small, so heavy users will reorder often. You need a compatible device and you need to be comfortable refilling. Citrus is a divisive flavour. And 18mg is a strong liquid, so a lower-strength sibling may serve you better if you are cutting down.

Overall verdict. If you are an adult smoker or established vaper who wants a lemon nic salt at a strong nicotine level for a pod kit, Loco Lemon 18mg is a sensible, fairly priced option. If you fall outside that profile, one of the alternatives above is likely to suit you better.

Customer Buying Tips

  • Match the strength to how much you smoked: 20+/day → 10-20 mg nic salt; 10/day → 10 mg; under 5/day → 3-6 mg freebase.
  • Match the ratio to your device: pod kits take 50/50, sub-ohm tanks take 70/30 shortfill.
  • Don't overfill: leaving the airhole clear prevents gurgling and leaking.
  • Shake before use so the nicotine and flavour integrate evenly.

Frequently asked questions

Is 18mg the right nicotine strength for me?

18mg nic salt is a high strength, generally chosen by people who smoked around 15 to 20 cigarettes a day. If you smoked less, or you are unsure, a 10mg or 12mg salt is often a more comfortable starting point. The UK maximum is 20mg/ml, so 18mg sits just under the legal limit. If you feel dizzy or sick after a few puffs, drop to a lower strength.

How do I charge the device I use with this liquid?

The liquid has no battery, so charging depends on your pod kit. Most use a USB-C cable and a standard 5V adapter, taking roughly 30 to 90 minutes to charge. Use the cable supplied with the device, avoid charging unattended or overnight, and wipe any spilled e-liquid from the charging port before plugging in.

Does Loco Lemon come in other flavours or strengths?

Ohm Brew nic salts are sold as separate listings by flavour and strength, so you can browse the range for other flavours and for lower strengths such as 10mg. Availability changes, so check the Ohm brand page for the current range. If you want to step down in strength, look for the same flavour at a lower mg.

How long will a 10ml bottle last?

It depends on how much you vape. Light users at around 1ml a day may get about ten days, moderate users at 2ml a day around five days, and heavy users at 3ml a day about three days. As a rough estimate that is somewhere between 1,500 and 3,000 puffs in a typical mouth-to-lung pod kit, though your own result will vary.

Is it good value compared with disposable vapes?

For most regular users, yes. Refilling a pod from a 10ml bottle usually costs less per day than buying prefilled devices, and it produces less waste because you keep the same battery and replace only the pod or coil. Single-use disposables are also no longer legally sold in the UK, so refillable kits and bottles are the main route now.

Who should and shouldn't buy this?

It suits adult smokers and existing vapers who want a tangy lemon flavour at a strong nicotine level in a pod kit. It is not for anyone under 18, non-smokers, or people who want low-nicotine or large-cloud vaping. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a heart condition, speak to your GP or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

Can I use it in a sub-ohm tank or mix it with other liquids?

We do not recommend using it in a sub-ohm tank. At high wattage you would inhale a large volume of 18mg nicotine, which is uncomfortable and delivers a very high dose. Mixing with other liquids is also best avoided, since it changes the nicotine strength and the base ratio and can affect wicking in small pod coils.

Do you deliver across the UK?

We deliver to UK addresses, and you must be 18 or over to buy. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout, and age verification may be required on order or on delivery. If you have a specific delivery question, such as a particular postcode, contact the shop team before ordering.

What is the warranty and returns policy?

E-liquid is a consumable, so there is no manufacturer warranty in the way there is for a device. Under UK consumer law, faulty or damaged goods can be reported for a repair, replacement or refund, so contact us promptly with your order number and photos if your bottle arrives leaking or with a broken seal. Opened e-liquid generally cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, so check the returns page for full details.

How should I store and dispose of the bottle and my old kit?

Store the bottle upright, tightly capped, in a cool, dark place out of reach of children and pets. Empty bottles can usually go in household plastic recycling once rinsed, subject to local council rules. Batteries, pods with electronics and old devices should go to a household waste recycling centre or a retailer take-back point, never in general rubbish.
