Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K Fresh Prefilled Pod Kit: what you are actually buying

The Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K Fresh Prefilled Pod Kit is a rechargeable pod vape: a compact battery device that takes a replaceable, prefilled pod. That distinction matters in the UK in 2026. Single-use disposable vapes have been banned from sale since 1 June 2025, so the practical replacement for a draw-and-go disposable is a kit like this one, where you keep the device and swap the pod when it runs out. The day-to-day experience stays close to what you already know, with no tank to fill, no coil to prime and no bottle to open, but the way you buy and run it is different, and it is worth understanding before you order.

Vaporesso is one of the longer-established names on the hardware side of vaping. The company built its reputation on pod systems, refillable kits and mesh coil designs long before prefilled formats became common, and that background tends to show in a defined pod interface, a firm connection between pod and battery, and a charging circuit that behaves predictably. The Dojo Blast range takes that engineering approach and applies it to a low-maintenance format for adults who want flavour and convenience without fiddling with hardware.

This listing is the Fresh selection of the 10K line. The word Fresh in the name groups six flavours together in one product family, and the variant selector on the page shows exactly which six are currently available. The wider Dojo Blast 10K range in our catalogue is much larger and includes flavours such as Cool Menthol, Lemon Lime, Watermelon Ice, Pineapple Ice, Strawberry Ice and Lychee Ice, so if the taste you want is not among the six here, it may be sold under a sibling listing.

The essentials at a glance:

  • Format: rechargeable pod kit with a prefilled, replaceable pod
  • Headline claim: a 10K rating, which is a manufacturer figure explained in detail in the next section
  • Range size: six flavours in this Fresh family
  • UK limits: nicotine capped at 20mg/ml and prefilled pods capped at 2ml
  • Age: 18+ only, and ID may be checked at checkout or on delivery

This guide covers what the 10K figure means, how the kit performs, the flavour styles to expect, build quality, battery and charging, the coil, nicotine strength, who the kit suits and who should look elsewhere, setup, troubleshooting, value for money and some fair comparisons with other options. Nothing here replaces the pack. Where we quote a specification, the box and leaflet are the final word, because manufacturers change batteries, pods and flavour lists between production runs. This product contains nicotine, which is addictive, and it is intended for adult smokers and existing vapers only.

Performance and puff delivery: reading the 10K figure honestly

Every product in this family carries a big number on the box, and it is the first thing most buyers ask about. The honest answer needs a little arithmetic. UK rules cap a prefilled pod at 2ml of e-liquid. If you divide 2ml by 10,000 puffs you get roughly 0.0002ml per puff, which is a tiny fraction of what a coil normally vaporises in a real draw. In ordinary use, a 2ml pod on a device of this type delivers something in the region of several hundred puffs, and many pods in this class are rated at a figure well under a thousand.

So what does 10K mean? We cannot verify exactly how Vaporesso arrives at it for this family. Possible explanations include a rating that applies to the product line rather than a single pod, a figure derived from very short laboratory puffs, or a number that reflects the device's life across many pod changes. Whatever the method, treat it as a marketing label that tells you which tier of the range you are in, not a promise that one pod will last for ten thousand draws.

A more useful way to think about longevity is in days. A moderate user taking around 150 to 250 draws a day can reasonably expect a pod to last several days. A heavy user, or someone who chain vapes through a commute, may finish a pod in a day or two. Strength also plays a part, since people on a lower strength tend to draw more often and empty a pod faster than they would at 20mg.

In terms of delivery, expect a smooth, restricted draw typical of a nicotine salt pod system, with a throat hit that depends on the strength you pick. Vapour volume is modest compared with large refillable tanks, which is a consequence of the 2ml limit and the nicotine cap rather than a flaw in the device. Flavour arrives on the first puff and holds steady until the pod is close to empty.

  • Draw style: tight, mouth-to-lung, similar to a cigarette draw
  • Activation: usually draw-activated, so there is no fire button to hold
  • Consistency: even flavour from a full pod down to the last quarter
  • End of pod: a toasted or flat taste is the signal to swap the pod

If you want a number you can plan around, assume a pod lasts about as long as a packet of cigarettes does for a moderate smoker, then adjust after your first one. That personal benchmark is more reliable than any figure printed on a box.

Flavour profile across the Fresh range

The Fresh family has six flavours, and as is normal with ready-filled ranges, the line-up can shift as stock rotates. Use the variant selector on the page as the definitive list. To help you choose, here are the flavour styles that the Dojo Blast 10K line is built around, many of which sit in the fresh, icy and citrus territory that the family name points towards.

  • Cool Menthol: a clean, sharp menthol with little sweetness. It suits people who dislike sugary profiles and gives a crisp finish that feels close to a mint cigarette.
  • Lemon Lime: a bright, tart citrus pairing with a fizzy edge. It reads as a sparkling soft drink rather than a sweet, and it stays light across a long session.
  • Watermelon Ice: juicy, watery melon with a cold exhale. The ice layer keeps the sweetness in check, so it rarely feels cloying.
  • Pineapple Ice: a tangy tropical fruit with a cooling lift. It sits between sweet and sharp and tends to suit warm weather.
  • Strawberry Ice: ripe strawberry with a gentle menthol chill. A familiar choice for people moving over from fruity disposables.
  • Lychee Ice: delicate, floral and slightly perfumed, with a soft cold finish. It is lighter and more unusual than the standard berry flavours.
  • Blue Razz Lemonade: blue raspberry with a lemon tang, sweet at the front and sharp at the back.

Treat that list as a guide to the style rather than a guaranteed menu, because we do not want you to order a flavour that is not part of this six. If the one you want is missing, check the other Dojo Blast 10K listings in the catalogue.

A few principles help you choose well. Ice and menthol variants are forgiving for newer vapers because the cooling sensation smooths over any slight harshness, and they tend to keep their character as a pod empties. Pure fruit flavours show more of the liquid's sweetness, which some people enjoy and others tire of after a few days. Sweeter profiles also build a coating on the coil faster, which is why a fruit and ice blend often tastes fresher late in the life of a pod.

Our practical advice is to buy two different profiles rather than two of the same. A fruit and a menthol give you something to alternate between, and rotating flavours is a well-known way to avoid palate fatigue, the effect where a flavour you vape constantly starts to taste weaker even though nothing has changed in the pod.

Design and build quality

The Dojo Blast is a compact, pocketable device. Kits in this class are typically a rounded rectangle in a matte or soft-touch finish, small enough to sit in a jeans pocket or a bag without a bulge. The pod seats into the top of the battery section and should click or seat firmly with no wobble. A secure pod connection matters more than it sounds, because a loose pod is the most common cause of a device that appears dead when it is simply not making contact.

The mouthpiece is shaped for a comfortable lip fit, and the airflow is set at the factory rather than adjustable. That keeps the device simple and removes one thing that can go wrong. Many pods in this class have a small window or a translucent section so you can see roughly how much liquid is left, which is handy for judging when to order a replacement. Check your own unit, as pod designs differ slightly between production batches.

Controls are minimal. Most kits of this type are draw-activated, so you simply inhale to fire, and a small indicator light shows battery state or flashes to flag an issue. The charging port is on the base. The leaflet in the box describes the exact light patterns for your unit, and it is worth keeping rather than binning.

What to check when your kit arrives:

  • The pod clicks in smoothly and does not rattle when you gently shake the device.
  • The outer finish is free of deep scratches or gaps along the seams.
  • The charging port is clean and the cable seats fully.
  • The pod shows no sign of leaking at the base or around the mouthpiece.
  • The packaging seals were intact when the parcel arrived.

In use, a prefilled pod device should feel solid rather than hollow. Plastic housings are normal at this price and are not a sign of poor quality by themselves, since they keep weight down and protect the battery from knocks. If you carry the kit loose in a pocket with keys, expect cosmetic wear on the finish over weeks, and consider a small pouch or a separate pocket to keep it tidy. Keep the mouthpiece clean and covered when you are not using it, as lint is the most common contaminant in a pocket-carried pod device.

Battery and charging

The battery is built into the device and is not removable. For rechargeable pod kits in this size class, internal cells commonly fall between roughly 500mAh and 1,000mAh, and the exact rating for this kit is printed on the pack and the device. We would rather point you to that figure than quote one we cannot confirm for every production batch. A cell in that range, paired with a modest output, normally covers a full day of moderate use and often stretches to a second day for lighter vapers.

Charging runs over USB-C. Plug the cable into the base and connect it to a wall adapter or a computer port, and the indicator light shows the state of charge. Kits of this type usually refill from empty in somewhere between one and two hours. Smaller batteries charge quickly and are not designed for very high power, so an ordinary 5V phone-style adapter is ideal. There is no benefit in using a fast-charge brick, and a poor-quality unbranded adapter is the more likely source of trouble.

Habits that protect the battery and keep the kit working for longer:

  • Top up before the battery is completely flat. Lithium cells prefer not to be run to zero repeatedly.
  • Do not leave the device charging overnight unattended, and never charge it on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa where heat can build up.
  • Use the cable supplied or a reputable USB-C cable of similar quality.
  • Avoid vaping while it charges unless the leaflet says it is fine. Many kits do not support it and the heat is not kind to the cell.
  • Keep the kit out of hot cars and direct sunlight, because heat ages lithium batteries faster than almost anything else.

Expect gradual capacity loss over months, as with any phone or earbuds. For a kit used daily, the battery will usually outlast many pods, but not indefinitely.

When the kit finally reaches the end of its life, do not put it in a household bin or the normal recycling box. A vape contains a lithium battery, and crushed batteries in refuse lorries cause fires. Under UK waste electrical rules, shops that sell vapes must take back used ones, and household recycling centres also accept them in their small electrical items bins. Spent pods contain residual liquid and a coil, so take them to the same drop-off points rather than throwing them out with the rubbish.

Pod and mesh coil technology

The pod is the part of this system that does the work. It holds up to 2ml of nicotine salt e-liquid, which is the legal ceiling for a prefilled pod in the UK, and contains the coil sealed inside. You cannot change the coil on its own, because the coil and the liquid are a single sealed unit. When the liquid runs out, you replace the whole pod. That is what makes the system low maintenance and also why running costs are tied to pod pricing.

Coils in this class are commonly a mesh design, though you should confirm the exact build on the pack as Vaporesso has used several coil styles across its range. A mesh coil is a flat or curved sheet of fine metal with many small openings rather than a single wound wire. The extra surface area heats quickly and more evenly, which tends to produce a consistent flavour from the first puff and reduces the hot spots that cause a burnt taste. In practical terms you get fast response and steady flavour without having to think about it.

The e-liquid in a prefilled pod like this is a nicotine salt formulation. Nic salts are blended with a mix of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine, and they deliver nicotine more smoothly at a given strength than traditional freebase liquids. That is why you can use a 10mg or 20mg liquid without the harshness that the same strengths would have in freebase form. The ratio of the base liquid affects how thick it is and how quickly it wicks, which the manufacturer tunes to the coil.

Things worth knowing about a sealed pod:

  • Priming: after fitting a new pod, wait a few minutes so the wick can saturate. Drawing on a dry wick is the main cause of dry hits.
  • Chain vaping: long continuous draws can outpace the wick. Space your puffs by a few seconds if you notice the taste thinning.
  • Low liquid: when the pod is nearly empty, the flavour gets flat or toasted. Stop and swap rather than pushing on.
  • Storage: keep spare pods upright and at room temperature, away from heat and sunlight.

We do not quote a coil resistance or wattage for this kit, because those figures are not something we can verify from the listing, and they are not adjustable by the user in any case.

Choosing a nicotine strength

UK law caps nicotine in vaping products at 20mg/ml, which is 2%. Within that limit, this family is normally offered at two levels, 10mg and 20mg, and the strengths available for your chosen flavour are shown on the variant selector. Some listings in the range are fixed at one strength, so check before you add to basket rather than assuming the dropdown covers both.

A sensible way to choose is to match the strength to how much you currently smoke or vape:

  • 20mg/ml (2%): a strong, cigarette-like hit. This tends to suit adults who smoke around ten or more cigarettes a day, or who are leaving heavy disposable use behind and found lower strengths unsatisfying.
  • 10mg/ml (1%): a softer hit with less throat catch. This tends to suit lighter smokers, people who already vape regularly at a low strength, and anyone who finds 20mg harsh or too strong.

It is easy to overshoot. Because nicotine salts are smooth, a 20mg pod can feel gentler than the number suggests, and new users sometimes find themselves feeling lightheaded or slightly nauseous after a few strong draws. If that happens, put the device down, have a drink of water and consider a lower strength next time. Taking longer between puffs also helps.

Going too low has its own cost. If a strength does not satisfy you, you will usually take more draws to compensate, empty the pod faster and end up spending more. A few buyers find it useful to start at 20mg and step down once they are comfortable, while others start at 10mg and move up if cravings persist. Neither approach is wrong.

We cannot give medical advice, and nicotine is an addictive substance. Adult smokers who want help with stopping should speak to a pharmacist or their GP, who can discuss licensed products and support. If you do not currently smoke or vape, this product is not for you, and nicotine products should never be used by anyone under 18.

Who this kit suits, and who should skip it

A prefilled pod kit is a specific tool, and being honest about where it fits saves you money. Here is how we would frame it.

Good fit:

  • Adult smokers who want a simple, cigarette-like draw without learning to refill or adjust a device.
  • Former disposable users who want the same click-in simplicity but need something that works under current UK rules.
  • People who travel or commute and want a small, low-fuss device with no liquid to spill.
  • Flavour-focused vapers who like to swap between fresh, icy and fruity profiles.
  • Anyone who wants to try a pod system before committing to a refillable setup.

Better to look elsewhere:

  • Vapers who want big clouds and adjustable airflow, who will be happier with a larger refillable kit.
  • People who like to mix or choose their own e-liquid, because a sealed pod cannot be refilled.
  • Heavy, all-day vapers on a budget, since pod costs add up faster than bottled e-liquid.
  • Anyone who expects ten thousand puffs from one pod, because that is not what the system delivers.
  • Non-smokers, who have no reason to start using nicotine, and anyone under 18.

A common question is whether this is suitable for someone moving off cigarettes. Many adults do use pod kits as an alternative to smoking, and the format is straightforward to learn. We make no health claims about any product, and nothing on this page should be read as a recommendation to use nicotine as a treatment. The decision is yours, and an NHS or pharmacy stop-smoking service can offer personal guidance.

If you are unsure, consider your routine. If you vape mostly at set moments, such as after meals or on breaks, a compact pod kit is a very natural fit. If you vape continuously at a desk all day, a larger refillable system will cost less over a month and may suit you better.

How to set up and use the kit

Getting started takes a couple of minutes. The steps below apply to most prefilled pod kits, and the leaflet in the box is the authority for your exact unit.

  • Step 1, unbox and check: remove the packaging and inspect the device and pod for damage or leaks.
  • Step 2, charge first: plug the device into USB-C and let it charge fully before the first use, as the battery usually ships partly charged.
  • Step 3, fit the pod: remove any protective caps or film, then press the pod firmly into the top of the device until it seats.
  • Step 4, wait: leave the assembled kit upright for about five minutes so the coil wick saturates.
  • Step 5, take a gentle first draw: inhale slowly and steadily through the mouthpiece. If it is draw-activated, nothing else is needed.
  • Step 6, find your rhythm: short, steady puffs of two to four seconds work well, and a pause between draws helps the wick keep up.

Draw style matters. This is a mouth-to-lung device, so pull the vapour into your mouth first, then inhale. Pulling straight to the lungs with a hard, fast draw tends to feel harsh and wastes liquid.

When the pod runs low, you will notice thinner flavour and sometimes a slightly hot or toasted note. Pull the pod straight out, fit a new one and let it rest for a few minutes before the first draw. Do not try to prise a pod open and refill it, because the seal is designed to stay shut and tampering can damage the coil or cause leaks.

Everyday care is short:

  • Wipe the connectors on the pod and device gently with a dry cloth if they look dirty.
  • Store the kit upright where possible, away from heat.
  • Keep the mouthpiece free of lint and dust.
  • Keep spare pods and the device out of reach of children and pets.

A quick note on storage: nicotine e-liquid can be harmful if swallowed or if it gets on skin, so if a pod leaks, wipe it up with a paper towel and wash your hands. Bin used pods only through the proper drop-off routes described in the battery section.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most issues with prefilled pod kits are small and fixable. Work through the likely causes in this order before assuming the device is faulty.

  • Nothing happens when you inhale: check the battery first. Charge the kit for at least thirty minutes, then try again. If it still does not respond, remove the pod and refit it firmly, and wipe the contacts with a dry cloth.
  • The indicator light flashes and it will not fire: this often signals a low battery, a short circuit or a poor pod connection. The leaflet explains the flash patterns for your model. Refitting the pod fixes most cases.
  • Dry or burnt taste: the wick may not be saturated or the pod may be nearly empty. Wait a few minutes, take shorter puffs and see whether it clears. If the pod is low, replace it. Avoid chain vaping, which strains the wick.
  • Weak flavour from a new pod: give it five minutes to prime and take a few gentle draws. If you have switched from a very strong flavour, your palate may also need a short break.
  • Gurgling or spitting: small amounts of liquid in the airflow can be cleared by tilting the device mouthpiece-down and tapping gently. If it continues, the pod may be overfilled or damaged.
  • Leaking from the pod or base: carrying the kit horizontally or in a hot pocket can cause leakage. Wipe it clean, store it upright and avoid heat. A pod that keeps leaking should be swapped.
  • Device will not charge: try a different USB-C cable and a different 5V adapter. Check that the port is free of lint. A cable fault is more common than a battery fault.
  • Throat feels harsh: try shorter, softer draws, switch to a lower strength next time or choose a menthol or ice variant.

If you have tried these steps and the kit is still not working, the fault may lie with the device itself. Stop using it and contact us with your order number and a short description or photo. Do not try to take the device apart, since the lithium battery inside should not be handled.

One more tip: if a kit seems to behave oddly right after delivery, give it a full charge and let the pod rest before concluding that something is wrong. Cold weather in transit can make a pod feel sluggish for the first few minutes, and the fix is simply to let it come up to room temperature.

Value for money and running costs

Value in a pod system comes from three things: the upfront cost of the kit, the cost of each pod and how long a pod lasts you. The starter kit includes the reusable battery device and a first pod, so the first purchase is the most expensive. After that, you only buy pods. The exact prices are shown on the product page and can change with offers, so we will not print a figure here that might date.

As a framework, work out your pod cost per day. Take the price of a pod and divide it by the number of days a pod lasts you, which for a moderate user is typically several days. Then compare that daily cost with what you currently spend on cigarettes or disposables. Many adults find that a reusable pod system costs noticeably less than a regular smoking habit, though the saving depends on how heavily you vape and which strength you use.

Compared with the single-use vapes that used to dominate the market, a reusable kit has two clear advantages. The battery is used again and again rather than thrown away with each unit, and the kit is less wasteful at the point of disposal. Compared with a refillable setup, though, a prefilled pod costs more per millilitre, which is the price you pay for convenience.

  • Lowest running cost: a refillable kit with bottled e-liquid, at the cost of more effort.
  • Middle ground: a prefilled pod kit like this one, which trades a little extra cost for simplicity.
  • Hidden cost to avoid: buying several different flavours at once before you know which you like.

Buying with us carries some practical benefits. Every product is 100% genuine, orders over £20 qualify for free UK delivery and orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day on working days. Because a pod kit is age-restricted, you may be asked to confirm your age at checkout and at the door.

Our honest view is that this kit offers fair value for adults who want a convenient, low-maintenance device and are happy to pay a modest premium over bottled liquid for it. If your priority is the lowest possible monthly spend, a refillable system will usually win on price alone.

How it compares with other options

Fair comparisons help more than sales talk, so here is how the Dojo Blast 10K Fresh kit sits against the alternatives you are likely to consider. We have kept the comparisons to formats and general design, because specifications change between model years.

Against Vaporesso's own XROS range: XROS devices are built around a pod you can refill or replace with a prefilled option, giving more control over liquid and flavour. The Dojo Blast trades that flexibility for simplicity, since you cannot open the pod. If you enjoy choosing your own e-liquid, XROS is the more adaptable route. If you want click-in convenience, the Dojo Blast is closer to what you are after.

Against other closed prefilled systems: established systems such as Vuse ePod and Elf Bar's Elfa line also use a sealed pod on a reusable battery. They work in broadly the same way, and the practical choice often comes down to which flavours you like, which strengths are offered and which pod price suits you. Neither format is inherently better than the other for a given adult, so pick on taste and cost.

Against refillable pod and tank kits: a refillable system gives you the lowest running cost, wider airflow control and a huge choice of bottled e-liquid, but it needs you to fill, prime and sometimes change coils. A prefilled kit gives up that control in exchange for a cleaner, quicker experience.

Against other Dojo Blast kits in our range: the shop also stocks Dojo Blast variants with different puff ratings, including 2000, 6000, 7K and 30K lines. The numbers differ mainly in the marketing tier, so the practical differences between them are worth checking on each page. If a higher number tempts you, apply the same scepticism described earlier about how puff counts are calculated.

  • Choose this kit if: you want a prefilled pod, a fresh and icy flavour set and a simple, compact device.
  • Choose a refillable kit if: you want the lowest running cost or total control over liquid.
  • Choose another closed system if: a particular flavour or strength elsewhere suits you better.

Our recommendation is practical rather than promotional. If the Fresh flavour set appeals and you value convenience, this kit is a sound, low-effort option that fits within current UK rules. If it does not tick those boxes, you will probably be happier with a different format, and we would rather you pick the one that suits how you vape.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose?

Choose 20mg/ml if you smoke roughly ten or more cigarettes a day or found lower strengths unsatisfying, and 10mg/ml if you smoke lightly or find 20mg too harsh. The UK limit is 20mg/ml. Check the variant selector, as some listings in the range come in one strength only.

How do I charge the kit and how long does it take?

Charge it through the USB-C port on the base with a standard 5V adapter or a computer port. Most kits of this type take around one to two hours from empty. Do not leave it charging unattended overnight or on a soft surface, and use the cable supplied.

Can I swap flavours, and which flavours come in this family?

Yes. The battery device is reusable, and you simply fit a new pod in a different flavour. The Fresh family has six flavours, and the variant selector shows which are available now. Our other Dojo Blast 10K listings cover further flavours such as Cool Menthol, Lemon Lime and Watermelon Ice.

How long will one pod last?

It depends on how often you vape and your chosen strength. A moderate user can expect several days from a 2ml pod, while a heavy user may finish one in a day or two. The 10K figure is a manufacturer rating and not a promise of ten thousand puffs from one pod.

Is this kit good value compared with disposables or refillables?

A reusable device saves waste compared with single-use vapes, and pod costs spread over several days are usually lower than a smoking habit. A refillable kit with bottled e-liquid costs less per millilitre, but needs more effort. This kit suits those who value convenience.

Who should buy this kit, and who should avoid it?

It suits adult smokers and existing vapers who want a simple, compact device with no refilling. It is not for non-smokers, anyone under 18, or people who want large clouds, adjustable airflow or the lowest running costs. Heavy all-day vapers may prefer a refillable setup.

Is this a disposable, and can I still buy disposables in the UK?

No. This is a rechargeable pod kit with replaceable pods. Single-use disposable vapes have been banned from sale in the UK since 1 June 2025, which is why reusable kits like this one have taken their place. You keep the battery and change only the pod.

Do you deliver across the UK, and is there an age check?

We deliver across the UK. Orders over £20 qualify for free delivery, and orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day on working days. You must be 18+, and we may ask you to confirm your age at checkout or on delivery.

What if my kit arrives faulty or stops working?

Can I refill the pod when it runs out, and how do I dispose of it?

No. The pod is sealed and designed to be replaced, not refilled, and opening it can cause leaks or damage the coil. When a pod or device is finished, take it to a retailer take-back point or a household recycling centre, never the general bin.

Better than my last brand

Delivery was super fast and the product is genuine. I've had fakes before so this was a relief.

Convinced my mate to switch too

Pleasantly surprised. Was expecting it to be average but it's actually really nice. Recommended.

Quality is there

Really nice flavour — not too sweet, not too harsh. Perfect in the middle. Second order already placed.
