Hayati Nicotine Pouches Pack of 10: what the pack is

Hayati Nicotine Pouches Pack of 10 is a multipack of ten sealed units from Hayati, a brand that most UK adults know for vape pods and nic salt e-liquids rather than for oral nicotine. A nicotine pouch is a small, flat sachet holding nicotine, flavouring and a plant fibre filler. You tuck one between your upper lip and gum, it releases nicotine and flavour through the lining of the mouth, and when you are finished you take it out and bin it. There is no flame, no vapour, no device and nothing to charge.

This page covers the whole family rather than one flavour. The Hayati pouch line runs to 34 flavours, and you choose the flavour and strength you want on the listing before it goes in the basket. Strengths across the line are generally offered at 12mg, 20mg and 30mg per pouch, although not every flavour is stocked in every strength, so the selector on the listing is the final word on what you can buy on the day.

We have written this as a buyer's briefing rather than a sales pitch. It explains what a pouch does, what the spec sheet items you may be used to from vaping (puff counts, battery size, coil type) mean for a product that has none of them, how to pick a strength, how to use a pouch without wasting it, and where this line sits next to other pouch brands and next to vaping. Where we cannot verify a figure, such as the exact pouch count inside each unit, we say so and point you to the label rather than guess.

Quick facts

  • Brand: Hayati
  • Format: oral nicotine pouch, ten units per pack
  • Range size: 34 flavours in the family
  • Typical strengths: 12mg, 20mg and 30mg per pouch, depending on flavour
  • Power source: none, so no battery, no coil and no charging
  • Who it is for: adults aged 18 or over who already use nicotine

How a pouch delivers nicotine, and what replaces puff counts

Vape listings talk in puffs because a puff is the unit of use. A pouch has no equivalent, so the honest measures are strength, time and the number of pouches you get through in a day. Nicotine is absorbed gradually through the gum rather than drawn in through the lungs, which usually means a slower and steadier onset than inhaling. Most people notice the first effect within a few minutes, and the flavour and the light tingle tend to fade over roughly twenty to forty minutes, depending on the strength of the pouch and how much saliva you produce.

Most pouch brands suggest that a single pouch is not left in for much longer than an hour, and plenty of regular users take it out well before that. Treat the label on the unit as the authority on timing for this specific product. Leaving a pouch in longer does not add anything useful, because the flavour is spent and the nicotine release has largely finished.

The performance profile of a pouch is different from a device in a few practical ways.

  • Consistency: every pouch in the unit behaves the same way. There is no battery that fades towards the end of the day and no coil that clogs and tastes burnt.
  • Discretion: nothing is exhaled, so there is no cloud and no smell that lingers on clothes. That does not remove the need to follow the rules of the place you are in, and some workplaces and venues have their own policies on oral nicotine.
  • Onset: there is no instant hit. If you are used to the quick delivery of a vape, a pouch can feel slow for the first few sessions, and the temptation is to jump to a higher strength too early.
  • Sensation: expect a tingle or warmth under the lip. It is stronger with higher mg pouches and with mint or ice flavours, and it eases as the pouch is used.

For planning purposes, think in pouches per day. If one unit holds a certain number of pouches (check the label) and you use a set number a day, you can divide one by the other to see how long a unit lasts. As a purely illustrative example with round numbers, a unit holding 20 pouches used at five pouches a day lasts four days, so ten such units would cover forty days. Your own numbers will differ, but the arithmetic is the same.

The flavour range: eight worth knowing in a family of 34

Hayati built its name on bold fruit, ice and sweet profiles in vape pods, and the pouch range follows the same instincts. The family stretches to 34 flavours, so rather than list them all we describe eight that appear across the line, based on the flavour names and tags on the listings. Taste is personal, so treat these as a map rather than a promise.

  • Banana Ice: a ripe, sweet banana note with a cool finish. It is one of the more dessert-like options and the ice is present without being sharp.
  • Blueberry: a straightforward sweet berry flavour with no menthol layer, which makes it a gentle place to start.
  • Bubblegum: confectionery sweetness in the pink bubblegum style. It is sugary, so some people find it tiring over a full day.
  • Coffee: the odd one out, with a roasted, slightly bitter-sweet profile. It suits people who dislike fruit flavours and is a long way from the sweet end of the range.
  • Cola: a fizzy, lightly spiced cola character that reads as sweet and slightly sharp at the same time.
  • Frosted Mint: a cooling blend of peppermint and spearmint. It tends to feel stronger than its mg figure because of the menthol tingle.
  • Grape Ice: grape confectionery with a chilled finish, in the same family of flavours as grape soft drinks and sweets.
  • Mango Ice: tropical mango with a cool edge, sweeter and rounder than the mint options.

A useful rule is that the ice and mint flavours feel more intense at the same strength, because the cooling agent adds its own sensation on top of the nicotine. If you are choosing between 20mg Mango Ice and 20mg Blueberry, expect the Mango Ice to feel sharper. New buyers often do better with a non-menthol fruit flavour while they learn how a pouch feels.

The flavour you select on the listing applies to the whole pack, so ten units of one taste can be a lot if you have never tried it. If you are unsure, order a single unit of two or three flavours first, then come back for the multipack of the one you finish first. That is cheaper than learning you dislike Bubblegum after buying ten.

Design and build: the pouch and the unit

A pouch looks simple, but the build matters more than it seems. The outer layer is a porous fleece that lets saliva in and nicotine and flavour out while keeping the filler inside. Good construction means clean, even seams, no loose powder on the surface and a consistent moisture level from the first pouch to the last in the unit. A pouch that is bone dry tends to feel scratchy and slow to release flavour, and one that is soaking wet can leak filler into your mouth.

We do not quote pouch dimensions, weights or the exact count per unit on this page because we cannot verify those numbers from the data we hold for this family, and a wrong figure helps nobody. The label on each unit carries them, and they can differ between flavours and strengths. If pouch size matters to you, for example because you find larger pouches uncomfortable, read the label on your first unit and note it for reorders.

The unit is a sealed can designed to be carried in a pocket or bag. Most pouch cans have a snug lid, and many have a small compartment under or inside it for used pouches, which saves you hunting for a bin. The multipack gives you ten of these identical units, which is handy in practice: one for the car, one for your desk, one in a bag, with the rest in a cupboard.

What to check when it arrives

  • The outer seal or film on each unit is intact.
  • The can is not cracked and the lid closes firmly.
  • The pouches are moist and pliable rather than crusty.
  • There is a best before date on the label and it is comfortably in the future.
  • The flavour and strength printed on the unit match what you ordered.

If anything is wrong, contact us with the order number and a photo before you use any pouches from that unit. Sealed stock that arrives damaged or incorrect is something we put right.

No battery, no coil, no charging: what the usual specs mean here

If you arrive here from a vape listing, you may be looking for a battery capacity, a coil resistance or a charging time. There are none, because a pouch has no electronics at all. That is the whole point of the format, and it is why the technical sections of a normal vape product page do not apply.

  • Battery and charging: not applicable. Nothing to plug in, nothing that runs flat halfway through the day, and no lithium cell to dispose of.
  • Coil or mesh technology: not applicable. Hayati devices use coils and mesh to heat e-liquid, but a pouch involves no heating and no liquid you inhale.
  • E-liquid capacity: not applicable. The only quantity to check is the number of pouches in each unit, which is printed on the label.
  • Puff count: not applicable. The nearest equivalent is the number of pouches you use per day.

Be careful with strength numbers when moving between formats. Vape strength is expressed as milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid, and in the UK the legal maximum for vapes is 20mg per ml, with refillable tanks and pods limited to 2ml and e-liquid bottles to 10ml. Single use disposable vapes have also been banned from sale in the UK since June 2025. None of those rules describe a pouch. Pouch strength is quoted as milligrams per pouch, so a 20mg pouch is not equivalent to a 20mg vape liquid, and the two numbers cannot be compared directly. Nicotine pouches are treated as their own category, which is why a pouch range can include strengths up to 30mg per pouch while vape liquids stop at 20mg per ml.

One genuine advantage of dropping the hardware is simplicity. There is no lithium battery to worry about, so none of the recycling rules for electrical items apply to the pouches themselves. If you still own Hayati or other vape hardware, that equipment should go to a proper drop-off point, which many vape shops, supermarkets and council recycling centres operate, rather than into household bins.

Choosing a nicotine strength: 12mg, 20mg or 30mg

Strength is the decision that matters most, and the easiest one to get wrong. The three levels offered across the Hayati family are 12mg, 20mg and 30mg per pouch. Some flavours are listed in all three, while others skip the middle strength and offer 12mg and 30mg, or 20mg and 30mg. The listing shows exactly what is available for the flavour you pick.

  • 12mg: the lowest level in the range. It suits adults with a light or occasional nicotine habit, or anyone who wants to use several pouches a day without feeling overpowered.
  • 20mg: the middle option and the sensible starting point for an adult who uses nicotine daily at a moderate level.
  • 30mg: the top of the range and a high strength by any standard. It is aimed at experienced, heavy nicotine users who find lower pouches do not register. If you are unsure whether that is you, it is not.

Choosing too high is a more common mistake than choosing too low. Signs a pouch is too strong include dizziness, nausea, hiccups, a racing feeling, an unpleasant burn under the lip or a headache. If you feel any of these, take the pouch out, drink some water and step down a strength next time. If you feel unwell in a way that worries you, stop using it and seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor. Starting a level lower and moving up is always easier than the reverse.

Two things alter how strong a pouch feels. The first is flavour: menthol, mint and ice add a sharp cooling sensation that many people read as extra strength, so a 20mg Frosted Mint can feel more forceful than a 20mg Blueberry. The second is how long you keep the pouch in and how much you move it around, which changes how quickly nicotine is absorbed.

The mg figure on the label is the nicotine content of the pouch, not the amount your body absorbs, and absorption varies from person to person. Think of it as a relative scale within this brand rather than a precise dose. As an adult who already uses nicotine, pick the lowest level that stops you reaching for something else, and review it after a week. This product is not intended for anyone who does not currently use nicotine, and we do not market it as a way to stop smoking or vaping.

Who these pouches suit, and who should skip them

These pouches make sense for a fairly specific buyer. Being honest about who that is saves you money and avoids a poor first experience.

They suit:

  • Adults aged 18 or over who already use nicotine and want a format that needs no device.
  • People who like the flavour range of Hayati pods and want something in a similar spirit without a battery.
  • Anyone who needs a discreet option in places where inhaling is not practical, such as long journeys, offices or shared housing, bearing in mind local rules.
  • Shoppers who prefer a multipack to reordering single units every few days.
  • People who want to ration nicotine in clear, countable portions rather than by the puff.

They are probably not for you if:

  • You are under 18. This product is sold to adults only.
  • You do not currently use nicotine. Nicotine is addictive, and there is no reason to start.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition and have not checked with a doctor.
  • You want the throat feel and ritual of inhaling. A pouch will not replicate that, and some people never warm to the sensation under the lip.
  • You dislike strong sweetness. Many flavours in this range lean sweet, with coffee and the mint options as the main exceptions.
  • You are drawn to the 30mg option out of curiosity. That strength is for experienced users, not for trying things out.

Sensitive gums are worth a mention. Some people find that pouches irritate the spot where they sit, particularly at higher strengths or with mint flavours. Rotating sides of the mouth helps. If the irritation persists, stop using them. A pouch is not a cure for anything, and we make no claims that it is.

How to use a nicotine pouch properly

Using a pouch is simple, but a few habits make the difference between a pleasant session and a wasted pouch. These steps apply to the Hayati range as they do to most brands, and the label on the unit takes priority if it says anything different.

  • Step one, check your hands and mouth. Dry hands and a mouth free of food make it easier to place the pouch cleanly. Avoid using one straight after strong coffee or fizzy drinks, which can dull the release.
  • Step two, open the unit and take one pouch. Keep the lid closed afterwards so the remaining pouches stay moist.
  • Step three, place it between the upper lip and the gum. Many people prefer the area just to the side of the front teeth, where it sits comfortably. Squeeze gently with a finger or your lip to start the release.
  • Step four, leave it alone. Do not chew it and do not swallow it. Swallowing the pouch itself is not what it is designed for and will not deliver anything useful.
  • Step five, let it run. You will feel a tingle and taste the flavour build over the first minutes. Swallowing saliva as normal is fine, but if you feel nauseous, remove the pouch.
  • Step six, remove and dispose. Take it out when the flavour fades or after the time on the label, and put it in the used compartment of the unit or a bin.

Tips for getting more from each pouch

  • Move it to a different spot if one side becomes sore.
  • Space your pouches out. Using one straight after another speeds up the build of nicotine and is a common reason for feeling unwell.
  • Keep a mint or water handy for the first few uses so you can reset your mouth if a flavour is too intense.
  • Do not use pouches while eating. Food reduces the contact between the pouch and your gum and the flavour is lost.

One practical point on timing: because the onset is slower than a vape, give a pouch at least ten minutes before deciding it is too weak. Reaching for a second pouch after three minutes is how many new users end up with an unpleasant double dose.

Troubleshooting: common problems and fixes

Most problems with pouches come down to strength, placement or storage. Here is a quick guide.

  • The pouch feels too strong or makes you dizzy. Take it out, sit down, and have some water. Next time, drop to a lower strength or pick a non-menthol flavour, and wait longer between pouches.
  • It feels too weak. Give it a full ten minutes before judging. If it is still too light after a week of regular use, move up a level rather than doubling up, and consider that mint and ice flavours may feel stronger than fruit at the same mg.
  • Flavour disappears quickly. This is normal after about twenty to thirty minutes. If it fades in under five, check the pouches are not dried out and that you are not drinking hot or acidic liquids at the same time.
  • The pouch is dry or hard. It may have been stored without the lid closed or sat somewhere warm. Check the best before date, and if the whole unit is dry, contact us rather than using it.
  • Gum or lip irritation. Rotate positions, try a lower strength and avoid leaving a pouch in for the full hour. If it does not settle, stop using it.
  • Hiccups or an upset stomach. Often a sign of swallowing too much saliva or of a strength that is too high. Lower the strength, and go slower.
  • A pouch splits or leaks filler. Throw it away and take a fresh one. If it keeps happening in the same unit, that is a build fault we want to hear about.
  • Wrong flavour or strength arrived. Do not open further units. Contact us with the order number and a photo of the label.
  • The flavour has changed after a few weeks. Pouches lose their sharpness over time, especially after the unit has been opened and left in a warm place. Store them as described later on this page.

None of these issues involve a device, which is the quiet benefit of the format. There is no firmware to update, no pod to prime and no leaking tank, so when something feels wrong, the cause is almost always one of the points above.

Value for money: working out the real cost per pouch

A multipack of ten should cost less per unit than buying singles, but you should check rather than assume. The method is simple, and it works for any pouch product, not just this one.

  • Take the price of the pack and divide it by ten to get the price per unit.
  • Divide that unit price by the number of pouches in a unit (printed on the label) to get the price per pouch.
  • Multiply the price per pouch by the number you use in a day to get your daily cost.
  • Compare that daily figure with what you currently spend on cigarettes, vape pods or other pouch brands.

A worked example with round numbers, which are not our listed prices: if a pack of ten units cost £30, each unit costs £3. If each unit holds 20 pouches, each pouch costs 15p, and at six pouches a day you would spend 90p a day. Swap in the real numbers from the listing and the label and you have your own figure in a minute.

Single flavour listings on our site have carried offers such as BUY 3 FOR £12 on certain Hayati pouch flavours, which works out at £4 a unit. Offers change, so compare the multipack price per unit with any live multibuy before you order. The multipack tends to win when you already know your flavour and strength, because you commit to ten units of one choice. It tends to lose when you are still experimenting, because a flavour you dislike is ten units of waste.

Two other factors affect value. Strength changes how many pouches you use in a day, because someone on a pouch that is too weak will go through them faster than someone who has picked the right level. And free UK delivery applies once your basket reaches £20.00, so a multipack usually clears the threshold on its own, which removes postage from the cost calculation.

Finally, remember the shelf life. A pack that sits for months before use may lose some freshness, so buy the quantity you will realistically get through, check the best before date on arrival, and keep the spare units sealed until you need them.

How Hayati pouches compare with the alternatives

Fair comparison means noting where this range is a good fit and where another option may suit you better.

Against other pouch lines in our shop. We also stock Cuba Nicopods, Cobra, Chapo White and Al Fakher pouches, among others. The differences come down to flavour style, strength spread and pouch feel. Hayati's pitch is a wide flavour menu built around fruit, ice and sweet profiles, and a strength ladder that reaches 30mg per pouch. If you prefer a plain mint or a more traditional profile, a brand that concentrates on those may suit you better. We suggest trying single units across brands before buying a multipack of any of them.

Against mainstream pouch brands such as Velo and Zyn. Those brands have wider shelf presence in UK shops and a longer track record, which makes them easy to find in a hurry. Hayati's advantages are the breadth of fruit and ice flavours and the multipack format on this page. The trade-off is less familiarity, and a top strength that is high enough to deserve caution. If you only want a few classic flavours at moderate strengths, the established names are a reasonable default.

Against vaping. A pouch gives you no inhaling ritual, no cloud and no hardware to maintain, and it is quieter in practice. It also gives you none of the instant delivery or the throat sensation of a vape. If you like the physical habit of puffing, a pouch will feel incomplete. If you mainly want nicotine without a device, it may suit you well. Vapers also have the practical overheads of charging, refilling or changing pods, and of recycling hardware at a drop-off point, which pouches avoid.

Against Hayati vape products. The pouches and the pods share a flavour language, so a flavour name that you enjoy in a pod is a reasonable guide to the pouch version. The experience of using them is different though, and strengths are measured differently, so do not assume a 20mg pouch and a 20mg nic salt feel alike.

None of these is a better choice in every situation. The right one is the format and strength you will actually use consistently, and which you can buy confidently from a UK retailer who sources through distributors.

Storage, disposal and buying from a UK shop

Looking after the pouches properly keeps them fresh, and disposing of them properly keeps pets, children and the environment safe.

Storage

  • Keep units sealed until you need them, and close the lid firmly after every pouch.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, radiators and car dashboards. Heat dries pouches out and dulls the flavour.
  • Keep them out of the reach of children and pets. A pouch contains enough nicotine to be harmful if a child or animal swallows it, so treat the unit like medicine and never leave an open one on a table.
  • Carry spare pouches upright and sealed in a bag rather than loose in a pocket.

Disposal and recycling

  • Put used pouches in the used compartment of the unit if it has one, or in a bin. Do not flush them, because they do not break down in drains, and do not drop them on the ground.
  • Empty cans and lids are packaging. Check the markings on the unit and your local council guidance to see whether your area accepts them in household recycling.
  • Vape hardware, such as pod devices, batteries and kits, is electrical waste and should go to a proper drop-off point rather than into general waste.

Buying from us

  • Sold to adults aged 18 or over only.
  • All stock is sourced through UK distributors and is 100% genuine.
  • Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day.
  • UK delivery is free once your basket reaches £20.00.
  • Consumables cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons, but if something arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty, contact us and we will put it right.

Nicotine is addictive. This product is for adults who already use nicotine, and nothing on this page is a health claim or advice to start or continue using nicotine.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I choose?

Most adults who use nicotine daily at a moderate level start at 20mg, while lighter or occasional users do better at 12mg. The 30mg option is for experienced, heavy users only. It is easier to move up a level after a week than to recover from a pouch that was too strong, and mint and ice flavours feel stronger at the same mg.

Do these pouches need charging?

No. A nicotine pouch has no battery, no coil and no electronics, so there is nothing to charge, refill or replace. That means the usual vape questions about battery size and charging time do not apply. You open the unit, place a pouch and bin it afterwards.

Can I mix flavours in one pack?

No. The flavour you choose on the listing applies to the whole pack of ten units. If you want to try several, order a single unit of two or three flavours first, then buy the multipack of the one you like. The range has 34 flavours, so there is plenty to sample.

How long does one pouch and one pack last?

A single pouch typically gives flavour and a tingle for around twenty to forty minutes, and brands generally advise removing it by about an hour. How long a pack lasts depends on the pouch count on the label and how many you use a day. Divide the first by the second to get your number.

Is the multipack good value?

It usually costs less per unit than buying singles, but check by dividing the pack price by ten and comparing it with any live multibuy on single flavours. It makes most sense when you already know the flavour and strength you like, and poor value if you are still experimenting.

Who should not buy these pouches?

They are not for anyone under 18, anyone who does not already use nicotine, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a medical condition, speak to a doctor first. Nicotine is addictive, and we do not market the product as a way to stop smoking or vaping.

Is a 30mg pouch the same as a 20mg vape?

No. Pouch strength is measured in milligrams per pouch, while vape liquid is measured in milligrams per millilitre, and the 20mg per ml cap for vapes does not apply to pouches. The numbers are not directly comparable, so choose a pouch strength on its own terms and start lower if unsure.

How fast is UK delivery and what does it cost?

Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day, and delivery within the UK is free once your basket reaches £20.00. A multipack will usually reach that threshold on its own. Delivery is only to UK addresses, and the product is for adults aged 18 or over.

What is your returns policy on opened pouches?

Consumables cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons. If a unit arrives damaged, faulty or is not the flavour or strength you ordered, contact us with your order number and a photo before using it, and we will put it right. Keep the outer packaging until you have checked everything.

How should I dispose of used pouches and empty cans?

Used pouches go in the used compartment of the unit or in a bin, never down the toilet or on the ground. Empty cans are packaging, so check the markings and your council's guidance on recycling. Vape hardware is different and belongs at a recycling drop-off point, not in household waste.
