What the Bloody Bar Pod Twist 20K kit actually is

The Bloody Bar Pod Twist 20K Vape Kit in Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix is a prefilled pod kit rated at 20,000 puffs, sold here for £10.99 in either 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt strength. In plain terms, it is a ready-to-use device. The e-liquid is already sealed in the pod, the pod is already matched to the device, and there is nothing to measure, pour or prime.

It belongs to the Pod Twist line from Bloody Bar, a brand with a loud, sweet-leaning reputation across big-puff formats. Our full Bloody Bar collection currently runs to 48 products, from small entry-level pods up to boxed multi-pod sets at £42.99, so this single kit is one rung on a fairly wide ladder rather than a one-off.

The first thing to understand is the shape of the offer. A 20,000 puff rating places this firmly in the big-puff bracket. Devices at this level are built for adults who want one product to last weeks rather than days, without juggling spare coils or bottles. If that sounds like your routine, the wider vape kits category shows how this format compares with starter sets, refillable pens and other prefilled options.

The second thing is the flavour pairing. The product name lists two flavour labels separated by a slash, Blue Razz Bear and Bear Mix. That is how the whole line is named, with each kit carrying a pair of labels rather than a single one. We go through what that pairing is likely to taste like further down the page, along with strength choice, the arithmetic on cost per puff, and the practical side of setting up, charging, storing and looking after the kit.

A quick note on how we write these pages. Where we hold a hard figure, such as the puff rating, the price and the two strengths, we quote it. Where we do not have a verified figure, for example battery capacity or charging time, we say so instead of guessing. Always check the packaging and the leaflet in the box for specifications that apply to the batch you receive.

How a prefilled pod system works in practice

Prefilled pod kits rely on a simple division of labour. The device holds the battery and the electronics. The pod holds the e-liquid and the heating coil. Because the pod is sealed and supplied full, the only job you have is connecting the two. That is the whole appeal of the closed-pod approach, and it is the category we file this kit under in our closed pod vape kits range.

Inside the pod, a small coil heats the liquid when you draw on the mouthpiece. Many devices of this style fire automatically as soon as you inhale, which is called draw activation. Others use a button. We do not list the firing method for this specific kit as a verified fact, so the packaging is your reference. In use, either method is easy, and most people stop thinking about it within a few minutes.

Nicotine salt liquid is the usual choice for this class of device. At a given strength it tends to feel smoother than traditional freebase liquid, which is why it dominates pod kits and why you will see it across the prefilled vape pods that sit alongside them in the shop.

Draw style matters as well. Closed pod systems generally suit a mouth-to-lung draw: a short pull into the mouth, a brief pause, then an inhale. It is the same rhythm many people already know from smoking, which is one reason the format is popular with adults switching from cigarettes. If you take long, deep lungfuls straight away, expect the hit to feel stronger than you planned, and ease in instead.

The word twist in the Pod Twist name is Bloody Bar's own branding for the line, and the box is the best place to confirm exactly how the pod seats on the device. The principle holds across the whole category: line it up, connect it, and make sure it sits flush before you use it. Anything that wobbles or leaves a visible gap should be reseated rather than forced, because a poor connection is behind a surprising share of "it does not work" messages.

Reading the Blue Razz Bear and Bear Mix flavour pairing

Flavour names in the big-puff world are shorthand, and this one is fairly easy to read. Blue Razz is blue raspberry, the bright, slightly tart, candy-style berry that has become one of the most recognisable profiles in vaping. Bear points to gummy-bear confectionery: sweet, soft, fruity and rounded rather than sharp. Bear Mix suggests a blend of gummy-style fruit notes sitting alongside that same sugary character.

Put together, expect a candy-led profile rather than a fresh-fruit one. Blue raspberry tends to take the lead on the inhale, with a tangy edge. The gummy side usually sits underneath, softening the tartness and leaving a sugary finish on the exhale. Please treat this as our reading of the product names, not a tasting note supplied by the manufacturer, and remember that sweetness and intensity are subjective.

The name carries no ice, mint or menthol tag. In this range that usually means no deliberate cooling effect, although we cannot promise it. If a chilled finish is important to you, the same line includes pairings such as Fresh Mint / Spearmint and Lemon Lime / Pineapple Ice, so you can choose a cooler profile without changing device format.

One practical point about sweet flavours is flavour fatigue. After a few days of the same candy profile, many people find the taste seems to fade, even though the liquid has not changed. Your palate adjusts. If that happens, a break for a few hours, a glass of water, or a switch to a sharper or minty flavour usually brings it back. It is not a fault with the pod.

Other pairings in the line lean in different directions. Triple Mango / Peach Mango is tropical and stone-fruit sweet, Mr Blue / Blueberry Raspberry stays in the berry family, and Strawberry Watermelon B-Gum / Watermelon Ice mixes gum-style sweetness with a cooler finish. If Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix catches your eye because you like candy flavours, you are in the right part of the range.

Who this kit suits, and who should look elsewhere

Start with the buyer rather than the device. This kit is aimed at adults aged 18 or over who already use nicotine and want something that asks very little of them. That includes people switching away from cigarettes, who often value a format that feels familiar, needs no preparation and comes in a flavour that does not taste of tobacco.

It also suits anyone who dislikes maintenance. If the idea of buying bottles, changing coils and checking wicks puts you off, a sealed pod removes all of it. You will find the rest of that style of product in our pod kits section, where prefilled and refillable systems sit side by side, so it is easy to see which approach fits.

The sweet candy profile points to a particular taste. If you gravitate towards desserts, sweets, berries and fizzy drinks, this will probably feel natural. If you prefer tobacco, coffee, or sharp menthol, a candy-led pairing will not scratch the same itch, and another flavour in the Bloody Bar range is likely to suit you better.

There are people for whom this is the wrong purchase, and we would rather say so. If you have never used nicotine, do not start with a nicotine product. If you are under 18, you cannot buy it, and it will not be sold to you. If you enjoy tinkering with coil builds, wattage and your own liquid, a sealed pod will feel restrictive, and a refillable system is a better match.

  • A good fit: adult smokers or existing vapers who want zero setup and a sweet flavour.
  • A good fit: anyone who wants a long-running kit at a low upfront price.
  • A poor fit: non-smokers, anyone under 18, and people wanting a customisable device.
  • A poor fit: anyone who prefers tobacco or cooling-only flavours.

Finally, remember that nicotine is addictive, and that these products are not suitable for non-smokers, under-18s, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. This page is information for adult buyers, not a recommendation to begin using nicotine.

The numbers: puffs, strengths, price and cost per puff

Here is everything we can state with confidence about this listing. The price is £10.99. The puff rating is 20,000. The available strengths are 10mg and 20mg, both in nicotine salt. The format is a prefilled pod kit, and the flavour pairing is Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix. We have deliberately left out battery capacity, coil resistance and liquid volume, because we do not hold verified figures for them and would rather say nothing than print a guess.

The arithmetic is simple. £10.99 divided by 20,000 rated puffs works out at about 0.055 pence per puff, or roughly 5.5 pence per hundred puffs. That is a useful yardstick when you compare against other devices, but it is only a rating. A manufacturer's puff count is an estimate based on a standard draw, and real-world figures depend on how long and how hard you pull, how often you use the kit, the strength you chose and the temperature around you.

To make the rating more tangible, here is what the numbers mean on paper:

  • At about 100 puffs a day, 20,000 puffs would stretch across roughly 200 days.
  • At about 150 puffs a day, you are looking at around 133 days.
  • At about 300 puffs a day, closer to 67 days.

In real life, e-liquid ages, batteries lose capacity, and people rarely use a device at an even rate, so treat those dates as a ceiling instead of a promise. If your habit is lighter, a smaller rating might waste less. Our 15000 puff vapes category makes a direct comparison easy, and you will see how the per-puff cost shifts with each step up or down.

No multibuy is attached to this particular listing at the time of writing. Offers change regularly though, so it is worth a glance at the vape deals page before you check out, especially if you are buying more than one flavour.

Setting it up and taking your first puffs

Unboxing a prefilled kit takes about two minutes, and doing it carefully saves most of the usual teething problems. Before anything else, check that the packaging is intact and any tamper seal is unbroken. Then follow the sequence below, using the leaflet in the box as the final authority where it differs from our general guidance.

  • Remove all outer packaging, shrink wrap and any protective film from the device and pod.
  • Take off any plug, cap or sticker covering the mouthpiece or the airflow opening on the pod.
  • Seat the pod fully on the device until it clicks or sits flush, with no gap.
  • Check whether your device is draw-activated or needs a button press, as the packaging will state.
  • Wait a few minutes before the first use so the liquid can reach the coil's cotton.

That waiting step is the one people skip. A freshly seated pod needs time for the wick to saturate. If you inhale hard immediately, the coil can fire on a half-dry wick, giving a harsh or slightly burnt taste that can put you off the flavour altogether. Give it five minutes, take a couple of gentle puffs, and then settle in.

For your first session, keep the draws short and relaxed. Three to five seconds is plenty. Pause between puffs, because the coil and the liquid both benefit from a moment to recover. Sipping gently also helps you judge whether the strength you picked is right, which matters more than anything else in the first hour.

Hold the kit upright or at a slight angle, and avoid pointing the mouthpiece downward while you use it. Keep your lips relaxed, and do not bite or squeeze the mouthpiece. If a light flashes, or nothing happens, check the pod is seated and the battery has charge before assuming something is wrong. The troubleshooting section below goes through the usual suspects in order.

Battery and charging: what to check and what we cannot promise

Battery questions come up more than almost anything else on big-puff kits, so here is the honest position. We do not publish a verified battery capacity or charging time for this kit, and we would rather say that than print a number that may not match the unit in your hand. The box and leaflet are the reliable source for the connector type, the charge indicator behaviour and any time guidance.

What we can offer is category-level advice that holds for rechargeable pod devices in general. Charge with a reputable cable and a standard plug or computer port, not a cheap unbranded charger of unknown output. Charge on a hard, clear surface, never under a pillow, on a bed or on a sofa cushion where heat cannot escape. Do not leave a battery charging unattended for long stretches, and unplug it once the indicator shows it is full.

A 20,000 puff rating implies that either the device will be charged repeatedly across its life, or that the pod is replaced while the battery carries on. The packaging should make clear which applies to your unit. In practice, topping the battery up little and often is gentler than running it to complete exhaustion every time, and it avoids the frustrating moment when the device dies mid-journey.

Warning signs deserve respect. If the device becomes unusually hot, swells, smells of burning, or looks physically damaged, stop using it, disconnect it from any charger, and keep it away from anything flammable. Do not keep using a damaged lithium battery. Get in touch with us using the details on our contact page and we will help you work out what to do.

When it comes to the end of the kit's life, batteries must not go into household bins or ordinary recycling. Take the device to a retailer collection point or a household waste recycling centre that accepts small electricals. It is a short trip that keeps a fire risk out of the waste stream.

Storing the kit and looking after the pod

Good storage keeps flavour consistent and the battery in better condition. The rules are mundane but they work. Keep the kit somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and away from radiators, windowsills and cars on a warm day. Heat thins e-liquid, which makes leaks more likely, and it is also hard on lithium batteries.

Store it upright where possible. Pods that spend long periods lying on their side are more prone to seepage around the connection, and a sticky film on the contacts can make the device behave unpredictably. If you do notice a little moisture, wipe it away with a dry tissue or cotton bud and let everything dry before reconnecting. Avoid water or cleaning sprays, which can reach the electronics.

Carrying it around brings its own risks. A loose kit in a pocket or bag with keys and coins can short against the contacts or get its mouthpiece clogged with fluff. A small pouch or a dedicated pocket solves both problems. If you travel by air, airlines generally require vapes and spare batteries in hand luggage rather than the hold, so check your carrier's current rules before you pack.

Pods, whether fitted or spare, last longest when they are kept sealed and out of the heat. Check the packaging for any date guidance. Once a pod is open and in use, it makes sense to finish it within a reasonable period instead of leaving it for months, because the flavour can dull and the liquid can change in the pod over time.

Finally, keep the kit, its pods and any spare liquid well out of reach of children and pets. Nicotine is hazardous if swallowed or absorbed, and a bright, sweet-smelling pod is exactly the sort of thing a curious toddler or dog might try to chew. A high shelf or lockable drawer is a sensible default in any household.

Honest pros and cons before you buy

No device is right for everyone, and a clear list of strengths and weaknesses is more useful than a sales pitch. Start with what works in this kit's favour, then look at the compromises you accept in return.

In its favour:

  • No setup beyond seating the pod: nothing to fill, prime or build.
  • A stated 20,000 puff rating, which keeps the cost per puff very low on paper.
  • Two nicotine salt strengths, so you can match it to your habit.
  • A distinctive sweet pairing in Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix for people who like candy flavours.
  • A low upfront price of £10.99, which makes trying a flavour a modest commitment.

Against it:

  • Sealed pods cannot be refilled, so you are committed to one flavour until the pod is spent.
  • The rating is an estimate, not a guarantee, and real use will vary.
  • Big-puff devices tend to be larger than basic starter pens, though we do not list dimensions for this one.
  • Sweet profiles are not to everyone's taste, and flavour fatigue is real.
  • Rechargeable electronics need sensible charging habits and responsible disposal.

It is also worth being clear about the market. Since the UK ban on single-use vapes took effect in June 2025, the sector has shifted towards rechargeable kits and replaceable pods. If you arrived looking for a traditional throwaway, our disposable vapes category shows what is currently listed in that part of the shop, and the descriptions on each product will tell you how it is designed to be used and recycled.

Weigh the list against your own habits. If the compromises sound minor to you, the kit does what it says. If two or three of them sound like deal-breakers, you will be happier with a different format, and we would rather you found that out now than after opening the box.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt

Strength is the decision that most affects whether you enjoy this kit, so it deserves a proper explanation. The figures on the listing are milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid. In UK vape liquids, 20mg is the legal maximum, which is equivalent to 2 per cent, and 10mg is half of that, or 1 per cent. Both are nicotine salts, which deliver nicotine with less throat harshness than the freebase type you would find in many bottled liquids.

A common rule of thumb in shops is that people who smoke around ten or more cigarettes a day often start at the top of the range, while lighter or occasional smokers begin lower. That is a starting point, not a prescription. Because salt nicotine is smooth, it is easy to take more than you intended, especially when the flavour is sweet and the throat hit is gentle.

  • Choose 10mg if you smoke lightly, you already vape at a modest strength, or you are the type who takes many long draws through the day.
  • Choose 20mg if you are used to a firm hit, you smoke a pack a day or close to it, or you find lower strengths leave you reaching for the device constantly.

Signs that a strength is too high include light-headedness, a queasy feeling, a racing pulse or a sore, scratchy throat. If you notice any of those, stop, take a break, and consider the lower option next time. Signs it may be too low include constant puffing, no satisfaction after a session, and cravings that return within minutes.

If you like to experiment, bottled liquids are another way to find your level. Our nicotine salt e-liquids range spans several strengths, so you can learn what feels right before settling on a pod kit. Remember, this product contains nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance, and it is for adult use only.

When something goes wrong, and where to go next

Most faults on a kit like this have simple causes. Work through them in order before assuming the unit is dead, because the first two items below account for the majority of cases.

  • Nothing happens when you draw: reseat the pod, check it clicks fully into place, and make sure the battery has charge.
  • Weak or no flavour: you may be experiencing flavour fatigue, or the pod may be close to empty.
  • Burnt or harsh taste: usually an empty or half-dry pod, or taking draws too close together.
  • Leaking around the base: wipe it clean, store it upright, and avoid squeezing the pod.
  • Gurgling or spitting: condensation in the mouthpiece. Wipe it dry rather than blowing hard through it.

If a quick check does not fix it, our contact page is the next stop. Include your order number, the flavour name and a clear photo or short description of the problem, and we can usually point you in the right direction faster. Our returns terms cover faulty items for 30 days, so do not sit on a genuine problem.

Think about where you want to go after this kit, too. If you find 20,000 puffs is exactly right, there are plenty of siblings within the brand to try. If you decide you would like more capacity, the 30000 puff vapes category steps up the rating, though a bigger number also means a longer commitment to a single flavour.

If instead you discover that sealed pods feel too limiting, a refillable pod system gives you control over liquid and flavour for a little more effort. Bottled nicotine salts, matched to a refillable device, let you change flavour whenever you like instead of waiting for a pod to run out. That is a different way of vaping, and it suits people who enjoy the process as much as the result.

Delivery, returns and buying with confidence

Buying a vape kit online should be uneventful, and we try to keep it that way. Every product we sell is 100 per cent genuine, which matters more than a small price difference when the item involves a lithium cell and nicotine liquid. You are buying a unit that is exactly what it says on the page, in the flavour and strength you picked.

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £20 and takes two to three working days. Below £20 it is £2.99, and next-day delivery is £4.99 when you order before 4pm Monday to Friday. At £10.99, this kit alone falls under the free delivery line, so if you want to qualify, adding a second flavour or another item from the Bloody Bar range usually does it. Our delivery and returns page sets out the options in full.

Because nicotine products are restricted to adults, every order is verified electronically, and where a check is inconclusive we may ask for ID before dispatch. You must be 18 or over to buy. Our age verification page explains how the process works, and having valid ID to hand avoids delays on the day your parcel should be leaving the warehouse.

Returns work differently from clothing or electronics. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened e-liquids, disposables or pods. If something is faulty, you can return it within 30 days for a replacement or refund, so check your kit soon after it arrives and get in touch promptly if anything seems wrong. Photograph the outer packaging and the product, and quote your order number when you contact us.

Finally, double-check the details on the page before you add to basket. Make sure you have the flavour pairing you want, Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix, and the strength that suits you, either 10mg or 20mg. A thirty-second check at the start saves a lot of back and forth later, and it means the kit arrives ready for the first puff. Our FAQ page also covers common order questions if you want to read around before you buy.

Frequently asked questions

How many puffs is the Bloody Bar Pod Twist 20K kit rated for?

The kit carries a 20,000 puff rating from the manufacturer. That figure is an estimate based on a standard draw, so your own results will depend on how long and how often you inhale, the strength you pick and the conditions the kit is stored and used in. At £10.99 it works out at roughly 5.5 pence per hundred rated puffs, which is a useful comparison figure but not a guarantee.

What nicotine strengths can I buy this kit in?

This listing is available in 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt. Twenty milligrams per millilitre is the legal maximum for UK vape liquids, and 10mg is half of that. Choose 20mg if you are used to a firm hit or smoke heavily, and 10mg if you smoke lightly or already vape at a modest level. Both strengths contain nicotine, which is highly addictive.

What does Blue Razz Bear / Bear Mix taste like?

Going by the names, expect a sweet candy profile. Blue Razz means blue raspberry, which is bright and slightly tart, while Bear points to gummy-bear sweetness that rounds the flavour out. There is no ice or mint tag in the name, so we would not expect a deliberate cooling effect. This is our reading of the product name, not a manufacturer tasting note.

Is the kit rechargeable, and how long does it take to charge?

Kits of this type are normally rechargeable by cable, but we do not hold a verified battery capacity or charging time for this unit, and we would rather not guess. Check the leaflet and packaging in the box for the connector type and indicator behaviour. Use a reputable cable, charge on a hard surface and never leave it charging unattended for long periods.

Do I need to buy anything else to use it?

No. It is a prefilled pod kit, so the liquid is already sealed in the pod and nothing needs filling or priming. You may need a suitable USB cable and plug for charging if one is not included, so check the box contents on arrival. Give the freshly seated pod a few minutes before your first puff so the wick can saturate properly.

Which strength should I choose if I am new to vaping?

Nicotine products are intended for adults who already use nicotine, and they are not suitable for non-smokers or anyone under 18. If you currently smoke fewer than around ten cigarettes a day, 10mg is a sensible starting point. Heavier smokers often prefer 20mg. If you feel dizzy, queasy or jittery, stop and go lower next time.

How should I store the kit?

Keep it upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, radiators and hot cars. Carry it in a pouch rather than loose in a pocket with keys or coins, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. If you fly, vapes and batteries generally need to go in hand luggage, so check your airline's current rules before packing.

Can anyone under 18 buy this product?

No. It is illegal to sell nicotine vapes to anyone under 18, and every order is verified electronically. You must be 18 or over to buy, and where a check is inconclusive we may ask for ID before dispatch. Nicotine products are also not suitable for non-smokers or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

How quickly will my order arrive, and is the product genuine?

Everything we sell is 100 per cent genuine. Standard UK delivery takes two to three working days and is free on orders over £20, or £2.99 below that. Next-day delivery costs £4.99 if you order before 4pm Monday to Friday. Because this kit costs £10.99, adding a second item takes you over the free delivery threshold.

What should I do if the kit stops working or arrives damaged?

First check the pod is fully seated, the battery has charge and the pod has liquid left. If it still fails, or if it arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us with your order number, the flavour and strength, and clear photos. Faulty items can be returned within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Never try to repair a swollen, hot or damaged battery.
