Crystal Pro CP 10K Prefilled Pods Box of 5: what you are buying

The Crystal Pro CP 10K Prefilled Pods Box of 5 is a multipack of replacement pods for the Crystal Pro CP 10K pod system. Each box holds five sealed, prefilled pods, so you can keep vaping without topping up bottles, measuring nicotine strength by hand or worrying about spills in your bag. The 10K in the name is the manufacturer's puff rating for the system, and this page treats it for what it is: a headline figure that needs context, not a promise for any single pod.

Because this product sits in the accessory category rather than being a standalone device, the pods only make sense alongside a compatible Crystal Pro CP 10K handset. If you do not own one yet, the Crystal Pro CP 10K Prefilled Pod Kit is the natural starting point, and the box of 5 is what you buy afterwards to keep the device running. Buying pods in a box of five rather than singly is mostly a practical decision: it means one order, one delivery and a small stock of spares in the drawer.

Here is a plain summary of what to expect from this listing:

  • Format: five prefilled pods per box, sold as a multipack.
  • System: Crystal Pro CP 10K, a click-in pod device made for adult smokers and vapers.
  • Brand: Crystal Pro, part of the wider Crystal Prime family of pod and disposable products.
  • Flavours: 46 options sit under this product family, so there is room to match your usual taste or try something new.
  • Age restriction: 18+ only. Age verification applies to every order, and nicotine is addictive.

Everything below is written to help you decide whether these pods fit how you vape. It leans on what the product category can reasonably be expected to deliver, and where a figure is not published on the listing we say so rather than invent one. If you only want the short version, read the sections on nicotine strength, value and troubleshooting, then check the FAQs at the bottom.

Puff count and real-world performance

The headline number is 10,000 puffs, and it is worth being straight about what that means. A puff rating in this market is calculated by the manufacturer under machine conditions: a short, steady draw at a fixed power with no variation. Real people draw longer, harder, more often and in clusters. In practice most users see somewhere between half and three quarters of the quoted figure, and heavy or chain vapers can land lower still.

There is a second point that matters even more. UK rules limit a refillable or prefilled pod to 2ml of e-liquid. A single pod therefore cannot physically deliver 10,000 puffs. The 10K figure describes what the system is designed to deliver across its life, spread over several pods and recharges, not what one pod will do on its own. With a box of five, you are effectively buying the consumables that carry that rating, one pod at a time.

So what does one pod give you in everyday terms? As a rough guide for a 2ml pod:

  • Light use (a few draws every hour or so): a pod can last several days.
  • Moderate use (steady through the day, replacing a pack of cigarettes in part): around two to three days is common.
  • Heavy use (frequent, long draws): a pod may be gone inside a day and a half.

These are estimates, not guarantees, and they shift with nicotine strength, draw length and how much you chain vape. A higher strength tends to satisfy faster, so people on 20mg often take fewer puffs than people on 10mg and a pod appears to last longer for them.

Consistency across the life of a pod is the part most vapers care about. A well-made pod keeps its flavour steady until the liquid is nearly gone, then fades quickly. If flavour drops sharply while you can still see liquid, the wick may be starved by heavy chain vaping rather than the pod being faulty. Pausing for a few seconds between long draws gives the wick time to re-saturate and usually restores the taste. Keep your own tally of how many days each pod lasts; after two or three pods you will know your personal figure, which is far more useful than any printed number.

Flavour profile: 46 options and how to choose

The Crystal Pro CP 10K family runs to 46 flavours, which is a wide spread for a pod line. Rather than list them all, it helps to think in families, because flavours within a family behave similarly and your existing preference is a reliable guide to what you will like.

  • Fruit and berry: blue razz, blueberry raspberry, cherry berry, strawberry raspberry ice, juicy peach, double apple and similar. These are the volume sellers. Expect a sweet, juicy top note with a mild tartness on the exhale.
  • Ice and menthol-leaning: banana ice, cherry ice, watermelon ice and the like. A cooling note sits over the fruit. It is light rather than harsh, closer to a cold drink than a mint sweet.
  • Sweet and candy: gummy bear, hubba bubba style bubblegum, cherry cola. These lean dessert-like and suit people who want a pleasant, uncomplicated taste.
  • Mint and fresh: fresh mint and lemon and lime. Cleaner and lighter, popular with people moving off tobacco who want something that does not feel cloying.
  • House blends: flavours such as CP Special are blends the brand uses to stand out. They tend to be fruit-forward with a layered finish.

A practical way to choose is to think about what you vaped before. If you came from a sweet bottle or disposable, stay in the fruit and candy families. If you want something that does not tire your palate, an ice or mint option usually holds up better over a full pod than a very sweet one. Heavy sweetness is more likely to cause vaper's tongue, the temporary loss of taste some people notice after long stretches on one dessert flavour.

Because the box holds five identical pods, you are committing to one flavour for a while. If you are unsure, order a single box of a flavour you already know you like and treat the rest of the range as a later experiment. The fact that all the flavours share the same pod format means switching between them is simple: finish a pod, click in a different flavour and carry on. For the full set, browse the Crystal Prime range and compare the descriptions side by side.

Design, pod fit and build quality

Prefilled pods in this class are small plastic cartridges with a metal contact end and a drip-resistant mouthpiece. The Crystal Pro CP 10K pods follow that pattern. They click into the device with a firm, audible seat and sit flush with the body, which is what you want: a pod that wobbles or sits proud of the housing is a common source of leaks and poor contact.

Things to look for when you unbox a pod:

  • Clear tank section: lets you see roughly how much liquid is left, which is more useful than any puff counter.
  • Sealed fill port: prefilled pods are factory sealed. There should be no visible gap or residue around the seam.
  • Contacts: bright, clean metal at the base. Fingerprints or dust can be wiped with a dry cloth before inserting.
  • Mouthpiece: smooth, with no rough moulding edges.

Build quality in pods is mostly about tolerances. A pod that fits snugly and keeps a tight seal rarely leaks. A pod that has been stored hot, knocked around in transit or left on its side for weeks can weep a little at the airflow channel. That is why our advice on storage matters: keep spare pods upright, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, and they should behave as intended.

The pods are light and carry well. A box of five takes up very little room, so you can leave one box at home and keep a spare pod or two in a bag or jacket pocket. As with all vape consumables, pods should be kept out of reach of children and pets, and the liquid inside should never be swallowed. If any liquid contacts skin, wash it off with water; if it gets into the eyes or mouth, rinse thoroughly and seek advice if irritation persists.

One honest limitation: because the pod is a sealed, single-use cartridge, there is no way to refill it and the brand does not intend you to. If you want a refillable setup with your own e-liquid, this is not that product and a refillable pod device would suit you better.

Battery and charging with the Crystal Pro CP 10K device

The pods themselves contain no battery. Power comes from the Crystal Pro CP 10K handset they click into, so battery behaviour is a feature of the device rather than the box of 5. Even so, the two go together in practice: a pod that outlasts the battery is no use, and a battery that outlasts the pod is wasted, so it is worth understanding the pairing.

Pod devices of this size generally carry a rechargeable lithium cell in the region of several hundred milliamp hours, charged through a USB-C port. The exact capacity is printed on the kit listing and on the device itself, and we would rather you check that figure than rely on our estimate. As a rule of thumb, a single full charge is enough for about one to two pods of liquid for a moderate user, which is why many vapers charge overnight and top up when convenient.

Good charging habits extend battery life:

  • Use a standard USB-C cable and a normal phone-style wall adapter or laptop port. Avoid very high output fast chargers meant for laptops.
  • Do not leave the device charging unattended for long periods, and never charge it under a pillow, on a sofa cushion or anywhere that traps heat.
  • If the device feels hot while charging, unplug it and let it cool.
  • Charge before the battery is completely flat. Letting it hit zero repeatedly shortens the life of any lithium cell.
  • Take the pod out before storing the device for a long period.

When the battery is running low the device usually signals this with an indicator light. A weak battery produces weaker vapour and a cooler, thinner taste, and people sometimes blame the pod when the real cause is a low cell. Before you decide a pod is faulty, charge the device and try again.

At the end of its life, the device battery should not go in household waste. Lithium cells in vapes are a recognised fire risk in bin lorries and recycling plants, so take the device to a proper drop-off point, covered in the recycling section below.

Coil and wick technology inside each pod

Each pod carries its own heating element, which is what makes a prefilled pod a complete consumable: you replace the coil every time you replace the pod, so you never have to prime, clean or rebuild anything. Pods in this category almost universally use a mesh coil, a flat woven screen of resistance wire that spreads heat across a wide area. Compared with an old-style round wire coil, mesh heats up quickly and evenly, produces denser vapour and gets more out of a given volume of liquid.

The listing does not publish an exact resistance in ohms, so we will not pretend to know it. What you can reasonably expect from a mesh pod of this kind:

  • Fast response: vapour starts almost as soon as you draw, without a noticeable lag.
  • Even flavour: a wide heating surface tends to cook the liquid more gently, which keeps fruit and ice notes cleaner and reduces the burnt edge you get when a small coil is overworked.
  • Wicking through cotton: a cotton wick carries liquid from the tank to the mesh. It needs a minute to saturate on a new pod, which is why a short wait after insertion matters.

The wick is the weak point of any prefilled pod. If it dries out, the coil heats dry cotton and you get a scorched, acrid taste. This almost always comes from one of three things: taking many long draws in quick succession, vaping a pod down to its last few drops, or inserting a pod and drawing immediately before it has saturated. The fix for the first two is simple: slow down and swap the pod when the liquid is gone. The fix for the third is to let the pod sit for a minute.

Airflow in these pods is set at the factory and cannot be adjusted. The draw is typically a restricted, mouth-to-lung style that feels close to a cigarette, which is a deliberate choice for people moving off tobacco. If you prefer a loose, open draw you may find this restrictive, and a different device type would suit you better.

Nicotine strength and the UK 20mg limit

Nicotine strength is the single most important choice you make with this product, and it is also the one most often got wrong. Under UK rules, nicotine e-liquid sold in disposable and prefilled formats is capped at 20mg/ml (often written as 2 percent). That ceiling is a legal limit, not a brand decision, and no genuine UK product should exceed it. Check the strength options on the listing, since the strengths offered on this line can differ by flavour; the common choices in the Crystal Pro CP 10K range are 10mg and 20mg.

How to choose:

  • 20mg: the firmest throat hit and the fastest way to satisfy a craving. It suits heavier smokers, people who smoked 15 or more a day, and anyone who has found lower strengths leave them reaching for the device constantly.
  • 10mg: a middle path. It gives enough nicotine to be satisfying while being smoother on the throat. It suits lighter smokers, people part-way through stepping down, and those who find 20mg harsh.
  • Lower than 10mg: if offered, it is aimed at people who want only a very light hit or who are close to coming off nicotine entirely.

A frequent mistake is picking a strength that is too low, then vaping far more to compensate. If you find yourself drawing constantly and still feeling edgy, you may be under-dosed. The opposite problem shows up as dizziness, nausea, a racing pulse or a throat that feels raw; if that happens, put the device down, sit quietly and consider a lower strength next time.

Nicotine salts, which this class of product normally uses, deliver nicotine more smoothly than freebase, so 20mg feels gentler than the same number would in a traditional bottle. That is one reason people who expect a harsh 20mg are often surprised. Still, if you have never used nicotine, do not start. These pods are for adult smokers and existing vapers only, and nicotine is highly addictive. If you want to stop nicotine altogether, free local stop-smoking services in the UK can help with a plan that suits you.

Who these pods suit, and who should skip them

These pods suit a specific type of buyer, and being clear about that saves you money. They are a good match if you:

  • already own, or plan to buy, the Crystal Pro CP 10K device;
  • want a no-fuss routine with no filling, no coil changes and no tinkering;
  • are an adult smoker moving to vaping and prefer something that feels close to a cigarette;
  • like having a small stock of identical spares, so you do not run out on a Sunday;
  • want to vary flavour without changing hardware.

They are a weaker fit if you:

  • do not own a compatible device. The pods are not universal. Do not assume they will work in other brands.
  • have never smoked or vaped. Nicotine is addictive and these are not recreational products for non-users.
  • are under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine products to anyone under 18, and age verification applies to every order.
  • want to use your own e-liquid. Prefilled pods are sealed, so you cannot refill them.
  • are pregnant, have a heart condition or take regular medication. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist first. Nicotine is not risk free, and the safest option for non-smokers is not to start.

Environmental concerns are a legitimate reason to think twice as well. Prefilled pods are a consumable, and each one is a piece of plastic and electronics to dispose of. If you vape moderately and want the lowest waste, a refillable pod system with a replaceable coil produces less rubbish per month. If you value convenience over that, a box of 5 prefilled pods is the more straightforward path, provided you recycle them properly.

It also helps to be honest with yourself about volume. If you only vape occasionally, five pods may last you weeks, and flavour quality drops if pods sit unused for a very long time. Match the box size to how quickly you will actually get through them.

How to fit and use the pods

Using a prefilled pod takes under a minute. Follow these steps for a clean start:

  • Check the product. Make sure the pod is the Crystal Pro CP 10K type and the packaging is intact. Do not use a pod with a cracked body or a leaking seam.
  • Remove any protective cap or film from the mouthpiece and the base contacts, if present.
  • Press the pod into the device until you feel a firm click. It should sit flush with the body. If it does not, withdraw it and reseat it rather than forcing it.
  • Wait about a minute before the first draw so the wick can saturate. This single step prevents most dry-hit complaints on a new pod.
  • Take gentle draws. Start with slow, steady pulls of two to three seconds. Long, hard drags burn through liquid and increase the chance of overheating the wick.
  • Leave a few seconds between draws when you are using it back to back.

When a pod runs out, the signs are consistent: the vapour thins, the flavour fades or turns slightly burnt, and the liquid window is nearly empty. Pull the pod out, check the contacts for any residue, and click in the next one from the box. Do not keep pulling on an empty pod, because that is when the coil is most likely to scorch and give a nasty taste.

A few habits keep the experience steady:

  • Hold the device upright when you are not using it, particularly when travelling.
  • Keep it out of hot cars and direct sunlight, which thin the liquid and encourage leaks.
  • Wipe the mouthpiece occasionally with a clean dry cloth.
  • Do not use it while driving in a way that distracts you, and respect the rules in public transport and workplaces.

On flights and in some venues vaping is restricted, so check the rules before you travel. Keep spare pods in their original box when carrying them, which protects the contacts and mouthpiece and keeps them tidy in a bag.

Troubleshooting common problems

Most problems with prefilled pods have simple causes. Work through these before deciding a pod is faulty.

  • No vapour or the device does nothing: first, charge the device, because a flat battery is the most common cause. Then check that the pod is fully seated and the contacts are clean. Remove the pod, wipe the base contacts with a dry cloth, and click it back in firmly.
  • Weak or thin vapour: this is usually a low battery or a pod that is nearly empty. Check the liquid window. If the pod is more than half full, give it a minute to saturate and take slower draws.
  • Burnt or acrid taste: the wick has run dry. Rest the device for a few minutes, take shorter and gentler draws, and swap the pod if the taste does not clear. A burnt pod will not recover once the cotton is scorched.
  • Gurgling or spitting: a little condensation or liquid has collected in the airflow channel. Blow gently through the mouthpiece away from your face, or wipe the mouthpiece, and the noise usually stops.
  • Leaking from the base or mouthpiece: check the seating, wipe the device dry and avoid squeezing the pod. If leaking is persistent from a fresh pod, stop using it and contact us with your order number and photos.
  • Flavour seems different between pods: small batch variations exist, and your taste buds adapt over a long run on one flavour. Switching to a different family for a day or two usually resets your palate.
  • Device gets warm: mild warmth during use is normal. If it becomes hot to the touch, stop and let it cool, and do not keep using it if the heat repeats.

Never try to open a pod, puncture it or modify the device. Do not mix components from different brands, and do not use a damaged charging cable. If a device swells, smells of burning or smokes, stop using it, move it away from anything flammable and, if safe to do so, place it somewhere non-combustible outdoors. Contact your local fire service if there is any risk of fire.

If you work through the steps and the pod still does not perform, a genuine manufacturing fault is possible. Keep the packaging and contact us promptly so we can look into it.

How these pods compare with other options

It helps to see where a prefilled pod box sits against the alternatives, and to be fair about it. None of these is universally better; each trades convenience, cost and waste differently.

Against a standard 10K disposable. A disposable bundles the battery and liquid into one sealed unit and is thrown away when the liquid ends. A pod system keeps the battery and replaces only the pod. Over time the pod route generates less electronic waste because you reuse the handset, and the cost per puff can come out lower, although you pay more up front for the device. A disposable wins on pure simplicity for someone who wants zero setup.

Against other prefilled pod brands. Competing systems from established brands use similar 2ml pods, mesh coils and nicotine salts. Differences come down to flavour range, availability and price. Crystal Pro's selling point is the breadth of the 46-flavour family and the multi-pack format, but some other brands have longer track records or pods available in more shops. The key restriction is that pods are specific to their own device, so you are tied to the Crystal Pro handset once you commit.

Against the Crystal Pro CP 10K Refill Pack. The single refill pack is priced at £5.99 per pod and has a multibuy that brings the price down slightly. A box of five is aimed at people who want to buy in one go and lock in a stock. Compare the per-pod figure on each listing before buying, since the cheaper route depends on current offers.

Against refillable pod kits. A refillable system with a replaceable coil, filled from bottles of nic salt, generally has the lowest running cost and the lowest waste. The trade-off is effort: you buy bottles, fill pods, change coils and occasionally clean up spills. Prefilled pods remove that effort entirely.

In short, the box of 5 suits someone who has already chosen the Crystal Pro device and prefers a click-in routine. If you are still deciding between formats, weigh convenience against running cost and waste, and be realistic about how much hassle you are happy to tolerate.

Value for money, delivery and recycling

Judging value on a pod product comes down to cost per pod and how long each pod actually lasts for you. A box of five replaces what would otherwise be five separate purchases, and multipacks of this kind typically price each pod slightly below the single price. Compare the total on the listing against the single refill pack, then divide by the number of days you expect each pod to last. If one pod lasts you two days, a box of five covers roughly ten days of moderate use.

Delivery is straightforward. Orders ship within the UK, and baskets above our £20.00 threshold qualify for free UK delivery. Weekday orders placed before 4pm go out the same day, so a box ordered in the morning is usually with you within a few working days. Age verification applies to every order. An adult may be asked to confirm ID on delivery depending on the courier.

Authenticity matters on pods more than on most products. Counterfeit or grey-market pods exist and can be poorly made or filled with unknown liquid. Our stock is genuine and bought through UK distribution, which is the main reason to buy from a retailer that can show where the product came from rather than from an unverified marketplace listing.

Finally, think about disposal, because it is part of the true cost of vaping. Used pods contain plastic, a small amount of residual liquid and a metal heating element, and the handset holds a lithium battery. They should never go into general rubbish or household recycling bins. Instead:

  • Take used pods and devices to a vape recycling drop-off point. Many UK vape shops, supermarkets and household waste recycling centres accept them.
  • Under UK waste electrical rules, retailers that sell vapes are expected to offer take-back, so ask at the counter.
  • Pack spent pods in a bag and avoid mixing them with loose batteries in a pocket.
  • Never put a battery or device in a standard bin; lithium cells can ignite in compaction.

Buying in a box of five makes recycling easy to organise: keep the empties in the original box and drop them all off in one trip. That small habit reduces litter and fire risk, and it keeps the category on the right side of the rules.

Frequently asked questions

Which nicotine strength should I pick for the Crystal Pro CP 10K pods?

UK rules cap nicotine in this type of product at 20mg, and the common options on this line are 10mg and 20mg. Choose 20mg if you were a heavier smoker or lower strengths leave you vaping constantly, and 10mg if you smoked lightly or find 20mg harsh. Check the listing for the strengths available on your flavour, and if you feel dizzy or sick, move down a strength.

How do I charge the device that these pods go into?

The pods have no battery, so you charge the Crystal Pro CP 10K handset through its USB-C port using a normal phone-style charger. Avoid high output laptop fast chargers, do not leave it charging unattended or on soft surfaces, and unplug it if it gets hot. If the vapour is weak, charge the device before assuming the pod is faulty.

Can I swap flavours between pods, and will the taste mix?

Yes, all the flavours in the family use the same pod format, so you can finish one pod and click in a different flavour. The taste does not carry over because each pod has its own coil and wick. Vaping lots of one sweet flavour can dull your taste for a while, and changing to a cooler or mint profile for a day usually resets it.

How long does one pod last?

A UK prefilled pod holds up to 2ml, so it cannot deliver the full 10,000-puff rating alone; that figure describes the system across several pods. Most moderate users get roughly two to three days from one pod, heavy users may get a day and a half, and light users can stretch it to a week or more. Your own habits matter more than the printed number.

Is the box of 5 good value compared with single pods?

A multipack usually works out a little cheaper per pod than buying singles, and it saves repeat orders and delivery. Compare the per-pod price with the single Crystal Pro CP 10K Refill Pack on our site, and remember baskets over £20.00 qualify for free UK delivery. It is only good value if you will use the pods before the flavour ages, so match the box size to your use.

Who should and should not buy these pods?

They suit adult smokers and existing vapers who own the Crystal Pro CP 10K device and want a simple, click-in routine. They are not suitable for under 18s, non-smokers, or anyone who wants to refill with their own e-liquid. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or take medication, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

Will these pods work in other devices?

No, assume they are made only for the Crystal Pro CP 10K system. Pod shapes, contacts and power settings differ between brands, and forcing a pod into the wrong device can cause poor performance, leaks or damage. If you are unsure about compatibility, ask us before you order and we will confirm against your device.

Do you deliver across the UK and how fast?

Yes, we deliver throughout the UK. Baskets above £20.00 ship free, and weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day. Delivery times depend on the courier, and age verification applies to every order, so make sure the details you give are accurate.

What if a pod is faulty or arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the pod and packaging. Opened vape products generally cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons unless there is a genuine fault, and we will look into any damaged or faulty item. Check the returns page for the full policy, and keep the original box until the issue is resolved.

How do I dispose of used pods safely?

Do not put them in household bins or normal recycling. Take used pods and devices to a vape recycling drop-off point, which many UK vape shops, supermarkets and council recycling centres provide, and ask at the counter where you buy. Keep empties together in the original box so you can drop them all off in one trip.
