Tick Tock Magic 8000 Strawberry Rush pods: what you are buying

Tick Tock Magic 8000 Prefilled Refill Pods Strawberry Rush is a sealed, ready filled replacement pod for the Tick Tock Magic 8000 device. The manufacturer rates it at 8,000 puffs, the flavour is strawberry with a mixed berry character, and it is made with nicotine salt in a choice of 10mg or 20mg. It is listed at £6.49 per pod and it is sold strictly to adults aged 18 and over.

This page works as a buying guide as much as a product description. A pod is a simple object, but the decisions around it are easy to get wrong: whether you need a pod or a complete device, which strength suits you, how long a pod will realistically last, and what to do with it afterwards. We cover each of those in turn, using the figures we actually hold and flagging the ones we do not.

Here is the specification in plain terms.

  • Puff rating: 8,000, as stated by the manufacturer.
  • Format: prefilled closed pod. There is nothing to top up, nothing to assemble and no separate coil to fit.
  • Flavour: Strawberry Rush, a strawberry led profile with mixed berry notes.
  • Nicotine: 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt, chosen when you order.
  • Price: £6.49 per pod, which is about 81p for every 1,000 rated puffs.
  • Power source: none in the pod itself. The battery lives in the Magic 8000 device.
  • Age restriction: 18+, with age checks applied to every order.

Some figures are missing from that list on purpose. The battery capacity of the device, the coil resistance and the exact liquid volume of the pod are not in the product data we hold, so we do not print them. Inventing a milliamp hour figure to make a page look complete would not help you decide anything, and it would be the first thing to fall apart if you compared it with the box. Where a detail matters, we explain how it works in general and tell you how to check it on your own hardware.

The page is written for adults who already smoke or vape and want a low-effort way to carry on. Nicotine is addictive. These pods are not intended for anyone under 18, for people who have never used nicotine, or for anyone who is pregnant or has a heart condition without advice from a health professional.

Pod or kit: what this listing is and what it needs to work

A large share of the mistakes made when ordering from this category come down to one confusion, which is buying a pod when a complete device was needed, or the reverse. The difference is easy once it is spelled out.

A kit is the device plus a first pod. It holds the rechargeable battery, the charging port, the airflow path and the electronics, and it ships with one filled pod so you can use it straight away. A refill pod is only the consumable part. It carries the liquid and, in a closed system, the heating coil as well. It has no battery, no buttons and no way of working on its own.

That makes this listing the right purchase if you already own a Tick Tock Magic 8000 and want another pod. You avoid paying for a second body and a second charger, and you buy only the part that is used up.

It is worth pausing on the money, because the numbers surprise people. At the time of writing, the flavour-specific Magic 8000 kits on this site, including the Tick Tock Magic 8000 Strawberry Rush kit, are listed at £6.99. This pod is £6.49. If you do not own a device at all, the extra 50p buys you the hardware, a charging port and a first pod in the same flavour. If you do own one, the pod on its own is the sensible buy. Prices move, so check the live listings before you order.

A few practical points follow.

  • These pods are matched to the Magic 8000 device. Do not assume they fit other Tick Tock hardware, and do not assume pods from other brands fit the Magic 8000.
  • The Tick Tock Mini 2000 range uses a different, smaller device and a lower puff rating. Some flavour names repeat across ranges, so read the product title as well as the flavour before checkout.
  • A pod is sealed. You cannot refill it, and you should not try to open it. Doing so damages the coil and the seals and can cause leaks and skin contact with nicotine liquid.
  • If you are unsure which device you have, look at the casing or the original box. The model name is normally printed there. When in doubt, buy a complete kit rather than a pod that may not fit.

The wider Tick Tock range, along with other prefilled pod systems, is gathered in the Tick Tock collection and the refills and pods category if you want to browse alongside.

Performance and puff delivery across an 8,000 puff rating

An 8,000 puff rating is a manufacturer figure. It is worked out under test conditions, with a machine taking draws of a set length at a set rhythm. Real use is messier. That does not make the number worthless. It makes it a comparison tool, good for ranking one product against another and poor at predicting your own pod to the day.

The thing that moves the result most is how you draw. Short, gentle pulls use less liquid per puff than long, hard ones, and someone taking a few puffs in the evening will find a pod lasts far longer than someone drawing steadily from morning to night. Treat 8,000 as a ceiling that careful use can approach and heavy use will fall short of.

To make that concrete, here is the arithmetic at three rates of use, assuming the full rating is reached.

  • About 150 puffs a day: roughly 53 days from one pod, or around 12p a day.
  • About 300 puffs a day: roughly 27 days, or around 24p a day.
  • About 500 puffs a day: roughly 16 days, or around 41p a day.

These are worked examples and not promises. Count your own habits honestly and you will land somewhere on that scale. If you are not sure how many puffs you take, notice how often you pick the device up in a normal day, then multiply by a realistic number of draws each time. Most people overestimate the first figure and underestimate the second.

On the quality of the draw, a closed pod system is designed to give a consistent experience from the first puff to near the last. You should expect the flavour and the throat feel to stay broadly steady through the main life of the pod, then taper. The signs that a pod is close to finished are all of the following together: a thinner flavour, a slightly harsher or warmer draw, and less vapour per puff. When you see them, it is time for a fresh pod rather than pushing the old one on.

One habit protects performance more than any other. Leave a newly fitted pod to rest for a minute or two before the first draw. That gives the cotton wick time to soak up liquid and avoids the dry, scorched first puff that people sometimes blame on the product.

It also helps to understand what the rating cannot tell you. It does not say how strong the flavour will be on puff 7,000, how much vapour you will see, or how the device battery will hold up. Those depend on the liquid, the coil and the hardware. Use the puff rating to compare value, and use the sections below to judge everything else.

The Strawberry Rush flavour profile

Strawberry Rush is listed as a strawberry flavour with mixed berry character. That tells you the direction without promising an exact recipe, and manufacturers do not publish ingredient breakdowns, so we describe the character rather than inventing tasting notes.

Strawberry is one of the most familiar fruit profiles in vaping, and it comes in two broad styles. One is a sweet, jammy strawberry, closer to a boiled sweet or a fruit sauce. The other is a fresher, slightly tart strawberry, closer to the berry eaten straight from the punnet. Pods with a mixed berry note tend to sit between the two, with the strawberry up front and a darker, tarter berry in support to stop the sweetness becoming flat. The word rush in the name suggests an energetic, fruit-forward take, though a name is not a measurement, and your own palate is the real test.

Here is how a flavour in this style tends to behave in use.

  • On the inhale: a sweet strawberry front, with a rounded berry body behind it.
  • On the exhale: a lingering fruit finish. Any tartness is usually most noticeable at the back of the tongue rather than at the front.
  • Over a full pod: layered fruit profiles tend to wear well, because the blend gives your palate more than one thing to register. Single note flavours are usually the ones people tire of first.

There is no cooling or menthol element in the name, so do not expect an icy finish. If you want one, the same range includes Strawberry Raspberry Ice, and if you prefer a different fruit partner there are Strawberry Blue Razz, Strawberry Cherry, Strawberry Kiwi and Strawberry Watermelon pods in the same price bracket. All of them fit the same device, which is one of the quiet strengths of a pod system.

A few things influence how a flavour tastes on the day.

  • Temperature. A pod that has been kept warm will taste sweeter and thinner. A cool one tastes tighter and slightly more tart.
  • Draw length. Slower, shorter draws bring out the flavour. Long hard draws bring out heat.
  • Palate fatigue. If a flavour that tasted vivid last week now seems muted, the cause is often your taste buds and not the pod. Switching to a different profile for a few days usually resets it.
  • Food and drink. Coffee, mint and spicy food all dull or change how fruit flavours land. If the first puff after a coffee seems off, try again later.

If you like strawberry sweets, berry smoothies or fruit cordials, this is the right neighbourhood. If you prefer tobacco, menthol or dessert flavours, a fruit pod will not be what you want, and it is better to know that now than after opening the pack.

Pod design, fit and build quality

A prefilled pod is a small sealed component, and its quality shows up in three ways: how it seats, how it seals, and how it behaves when you carry it around.

Seating. The pod should push into the Magic 8000 device with a firm, even fit and sit flush with the body. A pod that wobbles, or stands slightly proud of the casing, has not fully seated. Take it out and push it back with a straight motion rather than an angled one. Poor contact between pod and device is the commonest reason a new pod appears to be dead on arrival, and it very often turns out to be a seating issue and not a fault.

Sealing. Because the liquid is already inside, the pod relies on its seals to keep it there. Seals are designed for ordinary conditions. Heat, sudden pressure changes and rough handling are what stress them. Keep spare pods somewhere cool and, where you can, upright.

Handling. The pod is plastic and is not built for rough treatment. A few habits help.

  • Hold it by the body when fitting, not by squeezing the mouthpiece.
  • Do not pull or twist the mouthpiece. It is part of the sealed assembly.
  • Keep pods away from keys and coins in a pocket, where they can be scratched or cracked.
  • Check a new pod for visible cracks or leaked liquid before you fit it. If something looks wrong, do not use it, and contact us with your order details.

A closed pod also has a design benefit that is easy to overlook. It cannot be overfilled, filled with the wrong strength or contaminated with dust, because you never open it. For adults who want a vape that behaves the same way each time, that predictability is a large part of the appeal. The trade-off, which we cover later, is that you give up control of the liquid.

It is also worth being realistic about what a single pod does for the device. The pod is the part that wears out. The Magic 8000 body is built to take many pods across its life, though its own battery will age with every charge cycle. If you start to find that a fresh pod gives weak vapour and a charged device still seems tired, the cell may be nearing the end of its useful life, not the pod.

Nicotine is an addictive substance. Pods should be stored out of reach of children and pets, and the liquid should not be swallowed or allowed on skin or eyes. Keep the original packaging if you can, since it carries the manufacturer's warnings and batch details.

Battery and charging: what the device does and what the pod does not

People often look for a battery size on a pod listing and cannot find one. There is a simple reason. A refill pod does not contain a battery. The power comes from the Magic 8000 device that the pod clicks into, so the capacity, the charging port and the charge time all belong to the device and not to the pod.

We do not print a milliamp hour figure for the Magic 8000 here, because it is not in the product data we hold and we will not guess. What we can do is describe how rechargeable pod devices generally behave, so you can plan around it.

  • Swapping the pod does not refill the battery. The device keeps whatever charge it had, so a fresh pod on a flat device still will not work.
  • Expect to charge the device more than once per pod. A pod rated at 8,000 puffs usually outlasts several charges. Watch your own device for a week or two and you will learn its rhythm.
  • Weak vapour from a nearly full pod often means a low battery. If the draw feels thin and the pod is nowhere near its end, charge before you blame the liquid.
  • A device in regular use will want topping up on a routine. Many people plug in overnight or at a desk, which brings us to the safety side.

Safe charging matters more than fast charging. Rechargeable devices contain lithium-ion cells, which are dependable in ordinary use and demand sensible handling.

  • Use the cable that came with the device, or a reputable replacement, with a standard phone-style charger from a recognised maker.
  • Charge on a hard, clear surface, not on a bed, sofa or under a pillow.
  • Do not leave a device charging unattended for long periods or overnight.
  • Stop using any device that becomes unusually hot, swells, smells odd or shows damage, and take it to a proper recycling point.
  • Do not charge a device that is wet or has liquid around the charging port. Dry it first.

A word on why the device matters to a pod buyer at all. Because the battery is rechargeable, the device is not a throwaway item. That is the main thing separating this format from the single-use disposables that were banned from sale in the UK from 1 June 2025. When the battery is reused across many pods, there is less hardware thrown away for each puff you take.

Please do not put a device or a used pod in household waste or kerbside recycling. Lithium cells start fires in bin lorries and sorting plants, and the UK has dedicated routes for vape waste, which the how-to section below sets out.

Coil and mesh technology, stated without guesswork

The coil is the heating element that turns liquid into vapour, and in a closed pod system it sits inside the pod. That arrangement has a useful consequence. Each time you fit a new pod you also fit a new coil, so there is no separate coil to buy, prime or replace. For people who do not want to learn about resistance values and wicking, that is a genuine convenience.

We have not been given a coil type or resistance for this pod, so we do not state one. What we can do is explain the two designs you are likely to meet in the category, so the terms make sense when you see them on other listings.

  • Round wire coils are a length of resistance wire wound around a cotton wick. It is an established design, with a more concentrated heat point.
  • Mesh coils use a flat, perforated sheet of metal that gives a larger heating surface. The usual claim for mesh is more even heating, steadier flavour and a quicker response, and it is common in high puff rating pods because it suits drawing liquid from a larger reservoir.

Which one a pod uses affects how it feels more than how long it lasts. Lifespan is decided by the liquid volume and your draw pattern. How pleasant the draw is depends on how steadily the wick is fed.

You can judge any coil in practice, whatever its design, by three observations.

  • Priming. A well-fed coil gives a smooth first puff after a minute's wait. Dry or scorched hits point to a coil that is not yet saturated, or to a pod that has run low.
  • Consistency. The flavour should hold steady through the early and middle life of the pod.
  • Fade pattern. A gradual thinning near the end is normal. A sudden burnt taste in the middle of a pod is not, and it usually points to over-rapid drawing.

Chain drawing, meaning puffing repeatedly with no gap, is the habit that stresses a coil most. Leave ten or fifteen seconds between puffs and the wick has time to refill, which keeps the flavour clean to the end of the pod.

One more point about coils and sweet flavours. Fruit profiles like strawberry tend to contain more sweetener and flavouring than tobacco or plain menthol styles, and sugars caramelise on a hot coil. That is part of why a gentle draw pays off with a fruit pod. It will not harm the pod in a single session, but it is the sort of habit that shortens a pod's good flavour life if you chain draw every day.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt, and the UK cap

This pod comes in 10mg or 20mg, and both are nicotine salt. In the UK, nicotine-containing vape liquid is capped at 20mg per millilitre, which is the same as 2 per cent. That is why you will not see anything stronger on a lawful shelf, whether the product is a refill pod, a bottle or, until the single-use ban, a disposable. Choosing between the two strengths is the most important decision on this page, so it deserves a proper explanation.

Nicotine salt formulations are designed to feel smoother than traditional freebase liquid at the same strength. That smoothness is why a strength that sounds modest on paper can still feel substantial in use. A 20mg salt delivers nicotine efficiently, and a 10mg salt, which is 1 per cent, is distinctly lighter.

  • 10mg suits adults who smoke lightly or occasionally, adults already vaping at a lower strength, and anyone who finds stronger salts harsh or dizzying.
  • 20mg suits adults who smoke daily at a moderate or heavy level and want a throat feel closer to smoking. It is the legal maximum, so it is not the place to start if you are unsure.

A reasonable rule is to pick the lower strength that satisfies you, and not the higher strength that sounds safe. Take a few puffs and give it a minute. If you feel lightheaded, nauseous or jittery, the strength is too high. If you find yourself drawing constantly without feeling settled, it may be too low, and a stronger pod could mean fewer puffs overall.

Strength also interacts with the puff rating in a way that surprises people. The 8,000 figure does not change between 10mg and 20mg. What changes is how many puffs you personally need. Someone on 10mg may draw more often to feel settled, which uses the pod faster. Someone on 20mg may draw less, which stretches it. Neither is better value on paper, and both are listed at the same price.

A few further points are worth knowing before you choose.

  • Nicotine salts are absorbed quickly, so the first few puffs tell you most of what you need to know about whether a strength suits you.
  • Do not mix strengths between pods in your head. A move from 20mg down to 10mg can feel like a bigger drop than the numbers suggest, so allow a few days to judge it.
  • Heavier, longer draws deliver more nicotine per puff than short ones, so your technique matters as much as the label.
  • If you are new to nicotine altogether, these products are not for you. Nicotine is addictive and has no benefit to someone who does not already use it.

This is general information and not medical advice. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have any health question about nicotine, speak to a pharmacist or GP. NHS stop smoking services can also give free, personal support if you want to change how much nicotine you use.

Who these pods suit, and who should look elsewhere

Matching a product to a person is the useful part of any buying guide, so here is the straight version.

These pods suit you if:

  • You already own a Tick Tock Magic 8000 and want a replacement in a flavour you know you like.
  • You are an adult smoker or existing vaper who wants a low-effort setup with no bottles, no coils and no assembly.
  • You enjoy fruit flavours, and a strawberry led profile appeals more than mint, tobacco or dessert styles.
  • You want a pod that lasts, so you change it rarely and keep the running cost low.
  • You like to rotate flavours. Pods are the cheapest way to try a different taste on hardware you already own.
  • You travel or commute and want a vape that does not need liquid bottles in your bag.

You should look elsewhere if:

  • You do not own the Magic 8000 device. Buy a complete Magic 8000 kit first, or a different complete product.
  • You want to control the liquid yourself, mixing strengths or flavours. That is the job of a refillable system, and a closed pod offers you no such control.
  • You want the smallest possible pocket device. A high capacity pod system is built for endurance and not for minimal size.
  • You have never used nicotine. These products are for adults who already use it, and for nobody else.
  • You are under 18. We cannot supply you, and age checks apply to every order.
  • You vape only now and then. A very light user may never finish an 8,000 puff pod before wanting a change, and the liquid does not improve with age.

Adults who have smoked often choose a pod system because the routine feels familiar. You draw, you exhale and you put it away. If that describes what you are after, a closed pod device does the job simply. If you enjoy adjusting airflow and testing different liquids, you will probably find it limiting after a while, and a refillable kit may suit you better.

It is also worth saying who this product is not designed for in a different sense. It is not a stop smoking treatment and we do not sell it as one. It is a consumer nicotine product for adult smokers and vapers. If you want to stop using nicotine altogether, an NHS stop smoking service or your pharmacist can offer licensed options and free support.

If you are weighing complete devices and not pods, the closed pod vape kits category puts the prefilled options side by side, and the wider vape kits range covers refillable alternatives.

How to fit, use and look after your pod, and how to recycle it

Fitting a pod takes under a minute, and doing it properly prevents most of the problems people write to us about. Here is the sequence.

  • Check the device is idle before you remove the old pod, then take the old one out cleanly.
  • Remove any protective film, cap or plug from the new pod. Packaging varies, so look over the pod before you fit it.
  • Push the new pod in firmly and evenly until it sits flush against the body.
  • Wait one to two minutes so the wick can saturate before the first puff.
  • Take the first few puffs gently, two to three seconds each, with a pause between them.

From there, a few habits keep the pod performing across its life.

  • Pause between puffs and avoid chain drawing, which overheats the coil.
  • Store the device and spare pods upright in a cool place out of direct sun. A hot car in summer is the classic cause of leaks.
  • Do not carry a fitted device in a bag where it gets squashed under other items.
  • Keep everything away from children and pets, and keep nicotine products out of reach.
  • Charge the device before it is completely flat when you can, since deep discharge is hard on lithium cells.

Recycling used pods. A spent pod is electronic waste with residual nicotine, so it should not go in the general rubbish. In the UK you can return used vape products to many retailers that sell them, and to household waste recycling centres, which have dedicated bins for small electricals and vapes. The Recycle Your Electricals postcode finder will show you the nearest drop-off point. Do not try to take a pod apart. Drop it off whole, ideally in a bag, and keep it away from other batteries.

The device contains a lithium battery and follows the same rule. When it eventually stops holding a charge, recycle it as electrical waste through the same routes. Putting these items in a recycling bin at home is both a fire risk and a breach of local waste rules.

One further note on the rules. The UK banned the sale of single-use disposable vapes from 1 June 2025, which has pushed the market towards rechargeable pod systems like this one. A rechargeable device with replaceable pods is a different category from a single-use disposable. The disposable vapes category on this site shows how the two formats compare, and the Tick Tock Magic 8000 range sits on the rechargeable side of that line.

Finally, keep the pod packaging until the pod is used. It carries the batch information and health warnings, and it is the first thing we will ask about if something goes wrong.

Troubleshooting the problems people actually meet

Most pod issues have a simple cause. Work through the likely one before you assume the pod is faulty.

  • No vapour or no response. Check the battery first, because a flat device behaves exactly like a dead pod. Charge it and try again. Then remove the pod, check it for a leftover plug or film, and refit it with a firm, straight push. Poor contact is behind most dead-pod reports.
  • Weak or thin flavour. Check whether the pod is near the end of its life, which shows as a gradual thinning. If it is early in the pod's life, rule out palate fatigue by trying a different flavour for a day or two. A low battery can also flatten the draw.
  • Burnt or scorched taste. This usually comes from drawing before the wick has saturated, or from chain drawing. Rest the device for a few minutes, take shorter and gentler puffs, and leave gaps between them. If the burnt taste returns every time, the pod is spent or damaged and should be replaced.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Condensation in the airflow path can cause this. Hold the device upright, take a gentle puff to clear it, and wipe the mouthpiece. Do not blow back through the pod.
  • Leaking. Heat and pressure are the usual causes. Keep pods cool and upright, and do not leave them in a hot car. A pod that leaks repeatedly should be replaced and not repaired.
  • Throat hit too harsh. A stronger nicotine salt than you need is the main reason. Consider moving to 10mg and take slower draws.
  • Dizziness or nausea. Stop using the device at once, get fresh air and sit down. This is often a sign the strength is too high or you have drawn too quickly.
  • Device will not charge. Try a different cable and a different charger, check the charging port for lint or debris, and make sure the device is dry. If it still will not charge, contact us.

If you have worked through the list and a pod still will not work, contact us with your order details and a short description. Faulty or wrongly supplied items are our responsibility to put right.

It is also worth knowing what is not a fault. Vapour output varies a little from pod to pod, the first puff after a long rest can taste slightly different, and flavour intensity softens towards the end of a pod's life. All of those are normal behaviour for a closed pod system and not reasons to return anything.

Opened consumables are not returnable, which is standard in this category, so check the product title and compatibility before you open the pack. If you are not sure whether a pod fits your device, ask us first. It takes a minute and saves a disappointing delivery.

Value for money, and how this pod compares fairly

At £6.49 for an 8,000 puff rating, the arithmetic is simple. That is about 81p for every 1,000 puffs, or roughly 1,230 rated puffs for each £1. It is the kind of number that makes a closed pod system economical for a regular vaper, but a price only means something against alternatives, so here is an even-handed comparison using listed prices at the time of writing.

Against other 8,000 puff pods. Similar ratings from other brands are listed on this site at slightly lower prices. Elux Legend 8000 prefilled pods are £5.49, which works out at around 69p per 1,000 puffs, and Ghost Pro 8000 pods are £5.99, around 75p. So this pod is not the cheapest per puff in its class. The important caveat is that those pods fit their own devices and not the Magic 8000. If you already own a Magic 8000, switching brand means buying new hardware, which cancels the saving for a long time.

Against higher rated pods. Some 10,000 puff pods are listed at lower prices again, such as Crystal Prime Aura Bar 10K at £4.99 and Feoba Pro Plus 10K at £3.99. On paper they cost less per puff. Ratings are claims and not measurements, and a bigger number is not automatically a longer lasting pod, so treat that gap with some caution and judge by reviews, flavour and fit with your device.

Against smaller Tick Tock pods. The Tick Tock Mini 2000 range is a smaller device with a 2,000 puff rating. It costs less on the day but more per puff, and it belongs to a different device. The right choice depends on which hardware you own and how often you want to change pods, not on price alone.

Against a complete Magic 8000 kit. As noted earlier, the flavour-specific kits are listed at £6.99, only 50p above this pod. That means a spare pod bought now costs almost the same as a complete new set, which is worth bearing in mind if you are tempted to buy a second kit instead of a pod. The device is the reusable part, so a pod is the efficient buy if you have one.

Against single-use disposables. Those are no longer legally sold in the UK, so the comparison is mostly historical. A rechargeable device with replaceable pods reuses the battery and body, so less hardware is thrown away with each pod.

Against refillable systems. A refillable kit with bottles of liquid is usually cheaper to run for a heavy user and gives you control of strength and flavour. The trade-off is more handling, a little mess and a coil to replace now and then. A closed pod is the simpler route, and you pay a small premium for that simplicity.

The honest summary is that this pod is fair value for an adult who already has the device and vapes regularly, and poor value for anyone without the device or for a very occasional user who would rarely finish an 8,000 puff pod. If you are comparing, the prefilled vape pods category lists strengths and prices on each product, which makes it easy to run your own numbers.

Delivery is free to UK addresses on orders above £20, and weekday orders confirmed before 4pm are dispatched the same day. Everything we sell is genuine stock from authorised supply routes.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Zero-mess flavour change — snap in, done
  • Consistent draw from a factory-primed coil
  • Long shelf-life, easy to travel with

Cons

  • Costs more per ml than freestanding e-liquid
  • Pods are proprietary to a specific device
  • Only sold at 20 mg or 10 mg — no lower strengths

Customer Buying Tips

  • Check device compatibility: a pod must match your exact device family (e.g. "Elfa Pro" pods only fit Elfa Pro devices).
  • Store sealed pods upright, below 30 °C — heat and sunlight drain flavour.
  • Rotate flavours: using the same pod flavour back-to-back dulls your palate within a week.
  • Prime the pod for 60 seconds after fitting to avoid a dry hit.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a complete vape, or do I need a device?

These are replacement pods only. Tick Tock Magic 8000 Prefilled Refill Pods Strawberry Rush has no battery and needs a compatible Tick Tock Magic 8000 device to work. If you do not own the device, buy a complete Magic 8000 kit, which includes the hardware and a first pod.

Should I choose 10mg or 20mg nicotine?

Pick the lower strength that satisfies you. 10mg suits lighter smokers, occasional users and anyone who finds stronger salts harsh, while 20mg is the UK maximum and suits adults who smoke daily at a moderate or heavy level. Both are the same price, so choose on how it feels, and speak to a pharmacist or GP if you have any health concern.

How long does an 8,000 puff pod last?

The 8,000 figure is a manufacturer rating, and real life varies with how you draw. At around 150 puffs a day it could last about 53 days, at around 300 puffs a day about 27 days, and at around 500 puffs a day about 16 days. Long, hard draws and chain drawing will shorten it.

How do I charge it, and how long does it take?

The pod itself is never charged because it holds no battery. The Magic 8000 device charges through its own port with a standard phone-style charger, and we do not publish a charge time or battery size here, so check the device packaging. Charge on a hard surface and do not leave it charging unattended overnight.

Can I swap to another flavour, and what else is available?

Yes. The pods are separate from the device, so you can fit any compatible Magic 8000 pod whenever you like. Other strawberry options in the range include Strawberry Blue Razz, Strawberry Cherry, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry Raspberry Ice and Strawberry Watermelon, and the full range is on the Tick Tock collection page.

Is this good value compared with other pods?

At £6.49 for an 8,000 puff rating it works out at about 81p per 1,000 puffs. Some other 8,000 puff pods are listed slightly cheaper but fit different devices, so the saving only helps if you are buying new hardware anyway. It is fair value for regular vapers who already own the Magic 8000 and weaker value for very occasional users.

Who should and should not buy this?

It suits adult smokers and existing vapers who own a Magic 8000 and enjoy fruit flavours. It does not suit anyone under 18, anyone who has never used nicotine, people without the device, or those who want to refill and mix their own liquid. Nicotine is addictive, and these pods are for adult nicotine users only.

Do you deliver across the UK, and how fast?

Yes, we deliver to UK addresses. Delivery is free on orders above £20, and weekday orders confirmed before 4pm are dispatched the same day, with later orders leaving the next working day. You choose the delivery service at checkout, and age is verified on every order.

What if my pod arrives faulty or wrong, and is there a warranty?

Contact us with your order details and a short description of the problem. Faulty or wrongly supplied items are our responsibility to put right. Opened consumables are not returnable as standard in this category, so check the title and compatibility before opening the pack, and note that we do not quote a separate warranty period for pods.

How do I recycle a used pod or device in the UK?

Do not put them in household bins or kerbside recycling. Take used pods and devices to a retailer that accepts vape waste, or to a household waste recycling centre with a small electricals or vape bin, and drop them off whole. Do not dismantle them, because of the lithium battery and nicotine residue.

Easy to use straight out the box

Flavour holds up all the way through. Some brands get weaker after a few days but this stays consistent.
