Tick Tock Mini 2000 Berry Blaze pods: what you are buying

Tick Tock Mini 2000 Prefilled Refill Pods Berry Blaze is a sealed, ready filled replacement pod for the Tick Tock Mini 2000 device, carrying a manufacturer rating of 2,000 puffs. It is a mixed berry flavour made with nicotine salt, it comes in 10mg or 20mg, and it costs £4.49 per pod.

The first thing to be clear about is what this listing is. It is a pod, not a complete device. If you already own a Mini 2000, this is the part you click in when the previous pod runs flat. If you do not own the device yet, the Tick Tock Mini 2000 pod kit, which lists Berry Blaze among its flavours, is the better starting point, because it includes the hardware that this pod plugs into.

Here is the specification in plain terms, limited to what the product data actually supports.

  • Puff rating: 2,000, as stated by the manufacturer.
  • Format: prefilled closed pod, so there is nothing to top up and nothing to assemble.
  • Flavour: Berry Blaze, listed as a mixed berry profile.
  • Nicotine: 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt, chosen at the point of purchase.
  • Price: £4.49 per pod, whichever strength you pick.
  • Compatibility: the Tick Tock Mini 2000 device. It has no battery of its own.

The Mini 2000 sits at the compact end of the Tick Tock range. Its larger sibling, the Tick Tock Magic 8000, trades pocket size for a much higher puff rating, and everything in the brand is gathered on the Tick Tock collection page. This page walks through what the Berry Blaze pod does, what it does not do, and how it compares with the alternatives, using only figures we can stand behind and flagging the ones we cannot.

Pod or kit: which one you need before you order

Most of the confusion around this product comes from the word refill. A refill pod here is not a bottle of liquid and it is not a tank you fill yourself. It is a complete, sealed cartridge that already contains e-liquid and the heating coil, and it clicks into the Mini 2000 battery section. When it is empty you take it out and fit a new one.

That gives you two ways into the Mini 2000 system.

  • The kit: the device plus a first pod, supplied together. Kits are sold on the Mini 2000 pod kit page at £6.99, with Berry Blaze among the flavours on offer.
  • The refill pod: this page. £4.49 for a pod only, for people who already own the device.

Compare the two prices and the logic is simple. The kit costs £2.50 more than a single pod, and that difference is effectively what you pay for the battery section and charging lead. If you are starting from nothing, buy the kit. If you have a working Mini 2000 and the flavour you want is Berry Blaze, buy this.

One more thing worth saying plainly: these pods are not interchangeable across the whole Tick Tock range. A Mini 2000 pod is made for the Mini 2000 device. The Magic 8000 pods, including the Magic 8000 Berry Blaze pod, are built for a different device and will not fit this one. Check the number in the product title before you add anything to your basket, because a wrong-size pod cannot be returned once opened.

If you are weighing up closed pod systems in general, our closed pod kits collection shows the alternatives side by side, and the prefilled vape pods collection lists pods for other devices.

Performance and puff delivery on a 2,000 puff rating

The 2,000 figure is a manufacturer rating, not a measured guarantee. A puff is not a fixed unit. A short, light draw uses far less liquid than a long, hard one, and the same pod can feel like it lasts twice as long in one person's hands as in another's. Treat the number as a guide to relative size within a brand, not as a promise.

With that caveat, here is a practical way to think about it. Light daily use of roughly 150 puffs would stretch a pod to about 13 days. Moderate use of around 300 puffs a day gives about 7 days. Heavier use of around 500 puffs a day brings it down to about 4 days. Those are arithmetic, not lab results, but they are a fair basis for planning how many pods to keep in the drawer.

What you can expect in use is a consistent draw for most of the pod's life. Closed pod systems of this kind regulate how much power reaches the coil and how quickly liquid is fed to it, so flavour should stay steady rather than fade early. The usual pattern near the end is a gradual thinning of flavour and vapour, then a dry or slightly burnt taste once the liquid is nearly gone. If you taste that, swap the pod rather than pushing on, because a dry coil is unpleasant and shortens the life of whatever you fit next.

Two habits make a measurable difference to how long a pod lasts.

  • Draw length: a steady two to three second draw uses less liquid than a long pull of five seconds or more.
  • Chain drawing: taking puff after puff without a pause heats the coil faster than the liquid can replace itself, which wastes e-liquid and can dull the flavour.

This is a small, light pod with a modest rating. If you vape all day, a larger system such as the Magic 8000 will need changing far less often. The Mini 2000 suits people who value size and a lower outlay per pod over longevity.

The Berry Blaze flavour profile

Berry Blaze is listed as a mixed berry flavour. The product data tags it as mixed berries and nothing else, and that is a useful clue. Flavours in this range that carry a cooling element, such as the ice variants, are tagged with it. Berry Blaze is not, so you should expect a fruit led profile rather than a menthol one.

In practice, a mixed berry nicotine salt of this type usually reads as a blend of sweet and slightly tart notes, with the berry character sitting at the front of the inhale and a rounder, juicier finish on the exhale. Different people pick out different berries, which is normal for blended profiles, and we would rather say that than invent a specific list of strawberry, blackcurrant and raspberry that the listing does not state.

The name suggests intensity, and nicotine salt liquids do tend to deliver flavour quickly. Do not read the word blaze as heat or a spicy kick. If you want a noticeable chill alongside the fruit, look at the ice flavours in the Mini 2000 range instead.

Berry Blaze sits among a group of related berry pods you can compare directly, all at the same £4.49 price.

Flavour is personal, and a vape pod is a low cost way to find out what suits you. If you are unsure, buy one Berry Blaze pod and one neighbouring flavour and keep whichever you reach for more often. The pods are separate from the device, so changing flavour costs you nothing beyond the pod itself.

Pod design, fit and build quality

The pod is a small sealed cartridge, designed to push into the top of the Mini 2000 battery section and stay there. The product data does not list dimensions or materials, so we will not quote any. What we can describe is how this style of pod behaves and what to check when it arrives.

A closed pod has three parts you will notice: a mouthpiece at the top, a clear or tinted body that shows the liquid level, and a pair of contacts at the base that connect to the device. The contacts are what carry power to the coil, so they matter. Keep them clean and dry, and avoid touching them with wet fingers when you fit the pod.

On arrival, a quick check takes ten seconds and saves frustration later.

  • The pod should be sealed and undamaged, with no cracks in the body.
  • There should be no liquid on the outside of the pod or inside the packaging.
  • The contacts at the base should be clean and not bent.
  • The label should read Mini 2000 and Berry Blaze, in the strength you ordered.

When fitted, the pod should sit snugly and flush with the device. A pod that rattles or sits proud is either the wrong size or not pushed fully home. Press it in firmly until it seats, and if it still will not sit flush, take it out and check the label before trying again.

Because the pod is sealed, there is no filling port and no way to top it up. That is deliberate. It keeps the product leak resistant when carried in a pocket and removes the mess of handling bottles. It also means you cannot extend a pod's life by refilling it, and attempting to prise one open is not recommended, since it exposes you to liquid you have no way to contain. Store pods upright, away from heat and direct sunlight, and keep spares in their packaging until you need them.

Battery and charging: what sits in the device, not the pod

The pod itself contains no battery. All the power comes from the Mini 2000 device, which is why a pod listing cannot give you a charge time, and why we do not publish a battery capacity in this listing. If you want the exact figure for the device, check the packaging that came with your kit rather than relying on a guess from us.

What we can say with confidence is how the arrangement works. The device has a rechargeable lithium battery inside it and is charged through a cable connected to a standard phone style charger or a computer port. The battery outlasts any individual pod in typical use, which is the point of the design: you charge the device, you swap the pod, and you carry on.

Sensible charging habits protect the battery and keep everything safe.

  • Use the cable that came with the device, or a good quality equivalent, and a standard low power charger.
  • Charge on a hard, flat surface such as a table, never on a bed, sofa or cushion.
  • Do not leave it charging unattended overnight if you can avoid it.
  • Stop using any device that becomes unusually hot, swells, smells odd or shows damage.
  • Keep the charging port dry, and never charge a wet device.

If your device seems to die quickly, the cause is rarely the pod. A pod near the end of its life tends to taste dry, but it does not drain the battery any faster. Check that the contacts are clean, that the pod is fully seated, and that the cable and charger are working before assuming the device is at fault.

When the device eventually stops holding a charge, treat it as electrical waste. Do not put it in household bins or normal recycling, because lithium batteries are a fire risk in collection vehicles. Take it to a household waste recycling centre or a retailer that accepts vape waste, which is covered in more detail in the how to use section below.

Coil and e-liquid capacity, stated without guesswork

Two specifications people often ask for are the coil type and the liquid capacity. For this pod, the listing publishes neither, so here is exactly what we know and what we do not.

  • Coil: a heating coil is sealed inside the pod, and you replace it every time you replace the pod. The listing does not say whether it is mesh or another wound type, so we will not claim one.
  • E-liquid capacity: not stated in the product data.
  • Puff rating: 2,000, from the manufacturer.

It is worth understanding why a built in coil is a good thing for ordinary users. In a refillable tank, the coil is a consumable you maintain: you prime it, you watch for gunk building up, and you change it every week or two. In a prefilled pod, the coil is matched to the liquid inside, tested as a unit, and thrown away with the pod. That removes a whole category of problems, including dry hits from a badly primed coil and leaks from a poorly seated one.

On capacity, a note of caution is useful. UK rules limit the volume of a nicotine e-liquid tank or cartridge to 2ml, so pods sold here are generally built around that ceiling. Puff ratings printed on packaging are set by manufacturers and are not independently audited, which is why we call 2,000 a rating rather than a measurement. Real world longevity depends on your draw, and the planning figures in the performance section are the most practical way to budget.

If knowing the precise coil technology and millilitre capacity matters to you, a refillable system gives you control over both. Our refillable vape pods collection lists pods you fill yourself with bottled liquid. The trade off is more effort and some mess, in exchange for lower running costs and a wider choice of liquids. For people who simply want to click a pod in and use it, the sealed format here is easier.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg nicotine salt

This pod comes in two strengths, 10mg and 20mg. Both are nicotine salt, and 20mg per millilitre is the highest strength the UK allows in a nicotine vape product, which is why you will not find anything stronger on a lawful shelf. The same cap applied to single-use disposables before they were banned, and it applies to every pod, bottle and cartridge sold today.

Nicotine salt is different from the freebase nicotine in older style vape liquids. It is absorbed efficiently and feels smoother at a given strength, so a 20mg salt feels noticeably stronger in the body than a 20mg freebase would, even though the number on the label is identical. That is why salts are the usual choice in small pod devices that run at low power.

Here is a straightforward way to choose.

  • 10mg: a lighter hit, suited to people who vape occasionally, who are newer to nicotine salts, who find stronger liquids harsh, or who are already using a low strength and want to stay there.
  • 20mg: a firmer throat feel and a stronger nicotine delivery, suited to adults who smoke daily at a moderate or heavy level and want a throat sensation closer to smoking.

The price is the same at both strengths, at £4.49, so choose on how it feels rather than on cost. The 2,000 puff rating does not change between 10mg and 20mg either, although people on 20mg often draw less frequently, because they are satisfied sooner, which can stretch a pod a little further.

If you are moving from cigarettes, the aim is to pick the lowest strength that stops you reaching for a cigarette. Starting too low and puffing constantly is less satisfying than starting at the right level, and starting too high can cause dizziness, nausea or a harsh throat. If you feel any of those, move down a strength.

Nicotine is addictive. These pods are for adults who already use nicotine, and anyone who has never smoked or vaped should not start. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or any other health concern, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

Who these pods suit, and who should look elsewhere

A good product page should tell you when not to buy as clearly as when to buy, so here is both.

The Berry Blaze pod is a sensible choice for the following people.

  • Adult smokers and existing vapers who already own a Tick Tock Mini 2000 and enjoy fruit flavours.
  • Anyone who wants a small, light, pocketable device and does not mind changing pods fairly often.
  • People who prefer a click in and go system with no bottles, no coils to prime and no filling.
  • Light to moderate users, who will find a pod lasts a week or more and who value a low price per pod.
  • Vapers who like to change flavour regularly, since a £4.49 pod makes experimenting cheap.

It is not the right purchase for the following people.

  • Anyone under 18. It is illegal to sell nicotine products to under 18s in the UK, and we verify age on every order.
  • Anyone who has never used nicotine. Vaping is for adult smokers moving away from cigarettes, not a recreational habit to pick up.
  • Anyone without a Mini 2000 device, who needs the kit rather than the pod.
  • Heavy, all day vapers, who will find the Mini 2000 pod runs out quickly and costs more per puff than a larger system.
  • People who want to mix their own liquid or tune their coil, who are better served by a refillable setup.

If you land in the heavy user group but like the compact format, consider keeping a spare pod in your pocket or switching up to the Magic 8000, which has a much higher puff rating for fewer changes. Smokers weighing up the whole category will find a wider overview on the refills and pods collection.

How to fit, use and look after your pod

Fitting a pod takes a few seconds and needs no tools. Follow these steps.

  • Remove the pod from its packaging and take off any protective cap or seal covering the mouthpiece or contacts, if one is present.
  • Check that the contacts at the base are clean and dry.
  • Line the pod up with the opening at the top of the Mini 2000 battery section and press it in firmly until it seats flush.
  • Make sure the device is charged. If it is a draw activated device, simply inhale gently through the mouthpiece.
  • Take a few short, gentle draws first to let the coil wet fully before settling into your normal rhythm.

That first minute matters. A brand new pod has a dry coil that needs liquid to reach it, and hard drawing straight away can cause a burnt taste that never fully clears. Be patient for the first few puffs.

To get the most from each pod, take steady draws of two to three seconds with a pause between them, avoid chain drawing, keep the device upright when not in use, and keep it out of hot places such as a car dashboard or a window ledge. Heat thins the liquid and can cause seepage.

When the pod is finished, pull it out and fit the next one. Do not leave a spent pod in the device for long periods, and never try to refill it.

Recycling matters here. In the UK you can return used vape products to many retailers that sell them, and to household waste recycling centres, which have dedicated bins for small electricals and vapes. Used pods contain nicotine residue and sometimes a small amount of remaining liquid, so drop them off whole rather than taking them apart. Putting pods or devices in a recycling bin at home is both a fire risk and a breach of local waste rules.

The UK banned the sale of single-use disposable vapes from 1 June 2025 across England, Scotland and Wales, which has moved the market towards rechargeable pod systems like this one. A rechargeable device with replaceable pods is a different category from a single-use disposable, and you can see how the formats compare in our disposable vapes collection.

Troubleshooting the problems people actually meet

Most problems with a pod system have simple causes. Work through the likely ones before deciding anything is faulty.

No vapour, or the device does nothing. First check that the pod is pushed fully in. A pod that is slightly out of its seat does not make contact. Take it out, wipe the contacts with a dry cloth, and reseat it firmly. Then check that the device is charged, and plug it in for a while if it is not.

A burnt or dry taste. This usually means the coil is not getting enough liquid. It happens with a new pod that has not wetted fully, with chain drawing, or with a pod that is nearly empty. Let a new pod rest for a few minutes and take gentler draws. If the pod is almost out of liquid, it has reached the end of its life and should be replaced.

Weak flavour. Flavour fades as a pod runs down, and it also fades if you have recently switched from a very different flavour. A few puffs usually clear your palate. If a fresh pod tastes weak straight away, check that the contacts are clean and the pod is seated.

Gurgling or crackling. A small amount of liquid has pooled near the coil. Take the pod out, tap it gently on a clean surface, wipe the mouthpiece, and refit it. Gurgling that returns repeatedly may point to a faulty pod.

Leaking. Liquid on the outside of the pod or inside the device means something is wrong. Remove the pod, wipe the device and contacts dry, and do not use a pod that is visibly leaking. Heat and being stored on its side make leaks more likely.

Device gets hot. Warmth during use is normal. Anything uncomfortable to hold is not. Stop using it, let it cool, and if it keeps happening, do not carry on.

The device flashes but nothing happens. A flashing indicator generally relates to charge level or a connection fault. Charge the device and reseat the pod, and consult the leaflet that came with your kit for the specific flash pattern.

If none of this helps and you believe the pod is faulty, contact us with your order details and a short description of the problem, and we will put right anything that is our responsibility.

Value for money, and how this pod compares fairly

At £4.49 for a 2,000 puff rating, this pod works out at about £2.25 per 1,000 puffs. Whether that is good value depends entirely on what you compare it with, so here are the honest comparisons.

Against the Tick Tock Magic 8000 pod. The Magic 8000 Berry Blaze pod costs £6.49 for an 8,000 puff rating, which comes to about 81p per 1,000 puffs. That is roughly a third of the per puff cost of the Mini 2000 pod. For a moderate user at around 300 puffs a day, the Mini 2000 works out at about £4.70 a week, against about £1.70 a week for the Magic 8000. If running cost is your priority and you vape daily, the larger system wins clearly.

Where the Mini 2000 wins is on entry cost and size. A Mini 2000 kit is £6.99, against £8.99 for the Magic 8000 kit, the device is smaller, and each pod is a lower outlay if you only vape occasionally. For light users the difference in weekly cost shrinks, and the smaller device is easier to carry.

Against refillable pod systems. Refilling a pod from a bottle is cheaper per millilitre than any prefilled pod, and it gives you a huge flavour choice. It also takes more effort, makes more mess, and needs you to look after a coil. The refillable pods are the better option for cost conscious vapers who do not mind that work, and the prefilled format here is the better option for convenience.

Against single-use disposables. These can no longer be sold, so the comparison is mostly historical. A rechargeable device with replaceable pods also creates less waste, since you throw away a pod rather than a whole battery.

Against multibuy offers. Our 3 for 10 pods collection lists whichever pods are in the current multibuy. Check whether a Mini 2000 flavour is included before relying on it, since the range changes.

The fair summary is this. The Berry Blaze pod is competitively priced for a small closed pod, it is cheap to try, and it suits light to moderate users and anyone who wants a compact device. It is not the cheapest way to vape every day, and we would rather tell you that than leave you to discover it on the third pod. Orders over £20 ship free, so stocking up on a few pods in different flavours from the Mini 2000 refill pod range is often the sensible way to buy.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Zero-mess flavour change — snap in, done
  • Consistent draw from a factory-primed coil
  • Long shelf-life, easy to travel with

Cons

  • Costs more per ml than freestanding e-liquid
  • Pods are proprietary to a specific device
  • Only sold at 20 mg or 10 mg — no lower strengths

Customer Buying Tips

  • Check device compatibility: a pod must match your exact device family (e.g. "Elfa Pro" pods only fit Elfa Pro devices).
  • Store sealed pods upright, below 30 °C — heat and sunlight drain flavour.
  • Rotate flavours: using the same pod flavour back-to-back dulls your palate within a week.
  • Prime the pod for 60 seconds after fitting to avoid a dry hit.

Frequently asked questions

Are these pods a complete vape, or do I need a device?

They are replacement pods only. Tick Tock Mini 2000 Prefilled Refill Pods Berry Blaze has no battery and needs a compatible Tick Tock Mini 2000 device to work. If you do not own the device, buy the Mini 2000 pod kit instead, which includes the hardware and a first pod.

Should I choose 10mg or 20mg?

Pick the lower strength that satisfies you. 10mg suits lighter smokers, occasional users and people who find stronger salts harsh, while 20mg is the UK maximum and suits adults who smoke daily at a moderate or heavy level. The price is the same, so choose on how it feels. If you are unsure or have any health concerns, speak to a pharmacist before you begin.

How long does a 2,000 puff pod last?

The 2,000 figure is a manufacturer rating, and real life varies with how you draw. At around 150 puffs a day it could last about 13 days, at around 300 puffs a day about 7 days, and at around 500 puffs a day about 4 days. Longer, harder draws and chain drawing shorten it.

How do I charge it, and how long does it take?

The pod itself is never charged because it holds no battery. The Mini 2000 device is charged with its own cable and a standard phone style charger. We do not publish a charge time or battery size in this listing, so check the packaging that came with the device, and always charge on a hard surface.

Can I swap to another flavour, and what else is available?

Yes. Because the pods are separate from the device, you can fit any compatible Mini 2000 pod whenever you like. Nearby fruit options include Berry Blue Fusion, Blueberry Raspberry and Strawberry Raspberry Ice, and the full range is on the Tick Tock collection page. Let the old pod finish or remove it before fitting a new one.

Is this good value compared with other pods?

At £4.49 for a 2,000 puff rating it works out at about £2.25 per 1,000 puffs, which is higher than the Tick Tock Magic 8000 pod at about 81p per 1,000. It is good value as a low cost, compact option for light and moderate users, and weaker value for all day vapers who would save money on a larger system.

Who should and should not buy this?

It suits adult smokers and existing vapers who own a Mini 2000 and like fruit flavours. It does not suit anyone under 18, anyone who has never used nicotine, people without the device, or those who want to refill and mix their own liquid. Nicotine is addictive and these pods are for adult nicotine users only.

Do you deliver across the UK, and how fast?

Yes. We deliver to UK addresses, and delivery is free on orders above £20. Weekday orders confirmed before 4pm are dispatched the same day, and later orders leave on the next working day. You choose the delivery service at checkout, and age is verified on every order.

What if my pod arrives faulty or wrong, and is there a warranty?

Contact us with your order details and a short description. Faulty or wrongly supplied items are our responsibility to put right. Opened consumables are not returnable as standard for the category, so check the title and compatibility before opening the pack. We do not quote a separate warranty period for individual pods.

How do I recycle a used pod or device in the UK?

Do not put them in household bins or recycling. Take used pods and vape devices to a retailer that accepts vape waste, or to a household waste recycling centre with a small electricals or vape bin. Drop them off whole and do not dismantle them, because of the lithium battery and nicotine residue.
