Uwell Caliburn G2 Empty Pods: overview and compatibility

The Uwell Caliburn G2 Empty Pods are replacement refillable cartridges made for the Uwell Caliburn G2 pod system. They arrive empty, which means you choose the e-liquid, the nicotine strength and the flavour. That is the whole point of a refillable pod kit: you are not locked into whatever a disposable manufacturer decided to put in the tank, and you can swap between juices whenever you like.

Each pod is a self-contained unit that holds the e-liquid reservoir, the mouthpiece and the coil. The coil sits inside the pod rather than in the device, so every time you fit a fresh pod you also fit a fresh heating element. That design removes the usual coil-priming and screw-in-and-leak headaches that put people off tank vaping, and it is why pod systems have become the default choice for people who want something simple that still works properly.

Uwell has been making pod systems for years, and the Caliburn range is the line that put the brand on most UK vape shop counters. The G2 pods are the consumable part of that family. If you already own a Caliburn G2 kit, these are the pods you buy when your current one is tired, when the flavour has started to taste burnt, or when you simply want a spare so you can run two flavours side by side.

  • Product type: empty refillable replacement pod cartridges, sold as a multi-pack (check the pack size on the listing)
  • Capacity: 2ml per pod, which is the maximum tank size allowed for refillable vapes sold in the UK
  • Coil: built-in mesh coil, with resistance options listed on the product page
  • Compatible device: Uwell Caliburn G2 (and other Caliburn devices that use the same pod format, so check the compatibility note before you order)
  • Fill style: you fill them yourself with e-liquid or nicotine salt liquid

This page is a detailed buying guide. We cover how the pods perform, what to put in them, how long they last, how they compare with rivals, and what to do when something goes wrong. If you only want the short version: these are dependable, widely available pods for a well-regarded pod kit, and they suit people who want flavour and a tight draw without fiddling about.

Before anything else, make sure the pod fits your device. The Caliburn range has several generations, and while Uwell kept the pod connection consistent across some models, it did not do so across all of them. The Caliburn G2 pod is designed for the Caliburn G2 kit. Pods in the same family have also been used in the original Caliburn G, but you should not assume that every Caliburn device takes every Caliburn pod.

The quickest way to avoid a wrong order is to look at the pod you already have. The base of a Caliburn pod carries the magnetic or contact connection to the battery section, and the shape of the pod body is distinctive. If your current pod is labelled G2 or sits flush in a G2 battery without wobble, a new G2 pod will do the same.

  • Caliburn G2 kit: these are the correct pods
  • Caliburn G (original): frequently shares the pod format, but confirm on the listing before ordering
  • Caliburn A2, A3, Koko Prime, Tenet and other lines: different pods, do not buy G2 pods for these
  • Other brands entirely: not compatible, even where the pod looks similar

If you are not sure, message the shop with a photo of your device and the markings on the base of your current pod. It takes a minute and saves you a returns hassle. Remember that a pod which almost fits can still leak or fail to fire, because the contact pins sit in a different place.

One more point worth making: refillable pods are not interchangeable with prefilled or closed pods. Some Uwell prefilled pods look very close to the empty ones. The giveaway is a visible fill port with a silicone bung. The empty pod has one, the prefilled version is sealed. Check the product name carries the word Empty and you will be fine.

If you run a kit that has been discontinued or has been replaced by a newer generation, the G2 pods tend to stay in production for a long time because so many people use them. That matters for value, because a pod format that is still stocked is a pod format you can buy cheaply when you need it.

Performance and vapour delivery

These pods are built for mouth-to-lung vaping. That means you draw the vapour into your mouth first, hold it briefly, then inhale. It is the style most people use when they switch from cigarettes, and it pairs naturally with a snug airflow and a nicotine salt liquid.

The performance you get from the Caliburn G2 pods depends on three things: the coil resistance, the e-liquid you put in, and how gently you treat the pod in its first few draws. With a typical 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG nicotine salt e-liquid, the G2 pod delivers a smooth, consistent draw. Vapour production is moderate rather than cloudy, which is exactly what you want from a pod kit aimed at replacing smoking. If you are chasing big clouds, a sub-ohm tank will suit you better, and we cover that in the comparison section below.

Draw resistance is firm. You will feel a slight tightness on the inhale, similar to pulling on a cigarette. That is deliberate. It keeps the vapour hot enough to carry flavour and it makes the nicotine hit feel more like what smokers expect. People who move over from a loose-airflow device sometimes need a day or two to adjust, and people who move from cigarettes usually feel at home straight away.

The device is draw-activated, so there is no button to press. You inhale and the battery fires. That keeps the experience simple and means there is less to go wrong. It also means a pod with a poorly seated connection will often fail to fire, which is one of the first things to check in the troubleshooting section.

  • Throat hit: noticeable at 20mg/ml, gentler at 10mg/ml
  • Vapour volume: modest, suited to discreet use
  • Consistency: stable across the life of the pod when it is not run dry
  • Warm-up: effectively instant, because the coil is small and low-mass

Compared with disposable vapes, the main performance difference is control. A disposable gives you one flavour at one strength with a battery that dies when the liquid does. A refillable pod gives you the same convenience but lets you tune the experience, and the battery keeps going well past the first pod.

Mesh coil technology and why it matters for flavour

Inside each Caliburn G2 pod is a mesh coil. Old-style round-wire coils are a thin wire wrapped around cotton. A mesh coil replaces that wire with a flat sheet of metal, perforated like a very fine screen, that sits against the wicking material. The result is a much larger heating surface in contact with the liquid.

That has three practical effects. First, the liquid heats more evenly, so you get fewer hot spots and fewer dry, harsh draws. Second, flavour comes through cleaner, because the whole surface of the wick is vaporising at a similar temperature rather than one narrow strip cooking while the rest lags behind. Third, the coil ramps up fast, which is why the first draw after a pause tastes as good as the tenth.

Uwell has used mesh coils across its pod range for a while, and the design in the Caliburn line is one reason these pods have a reputation for tasting like the juice you put in rather than like hot metal. Fruit, menthol and dessert profiles all come across well, and tobacco flavours are noticeably less flat than they are on cheap round-wire pods.

Resistance affects how the pod behaves. Lower resistance coils draw more power from the battery, run slightly warmer and produce more vapour. Higher resistance coils sip power, run a little cooler and tend to extend battery life per charge. Check the variant options on the product listing to see which resistance you are buying. As a rough rule:

  • Around 0.8Ω: better vapour and flavour at the expense of faster liquid use, good with nicotine salts
  • Around 1.2Ω: tighter, cooler draw, gentler on the battery, good for lighter nicotine strengths and heavier users who want to avoid overdoing it

Mesh coils are also more sensitive to thick, sweet liquids than old wire coils. Very high-sugar dessert juices can clog the mesh faster. If you notice a pod losing flavour quicker than expected, the liquid is usually the cause and switching to a thinner, less sweet liquid will extend the life of the next one.

Design and build quality

The Caliburn G2 pod is a compact, square-edged cartridge that clicks into the battery section with a firm magnetic or friction seat. The shell is a hard plastic, and the mouthpiece is shaped to sit comfortably between the lips without a sharp edge. Nothing about it feels flimsy, which is not always true of budget pod cartridges.

The 2ml reservoir has a clear or tinted window on most colourways so you can see the liquid level at a glance. That matters more than it sounds. Running a mesh coil dry is the fastest way to shorten its life, and being able to see when you are down to the last third of liquid means you refill before the coil starts to burn.

The fill port is a small opening sealed by a silicone bung. The bung presses in firmly and holds a seal when pushed fully home. You can open and close it dozens of times over the life of a pod without it loosening, provided you do not tear it by prying with a sharp object. Use your thumbnail or the nozzle of the bottle to lift it gently.

  • Weight and size: light enough to carry in a jacket pocket all day
  • Seal: silicone bung and gasketed base to limit leaks when fitted properly
  • Mouthpiece: rounded, easy to clean with a dry cloth
  • Finish: plastic shell, so keep it away from solvents and from very hot places such as a car dashboard

These are consumable parts, so no one expects them to last for years. Where the build quality shows up is in consistency from one pod to the next. If you buy a multi-pack and every pod seats, seals and fires the same way, you have a good batch. Occasionally a pod will have a poorly seated bung or a loose mouthpiece, which is covered by returns, and we explain how that works below.

If you carry spare pods, keep them in a small pouch or in the original packaging so the connection pins stay clean. Lint and grit in the pocket can cause intermittent contact, which looks like a faulty pod but is really just dirt.

Battery and charging: how the G2 kit powers these pods

The pods do not have a battery of their own. They draw power from the Caliburn G2 battery section, which has a built-in 750mAh cell and charges over USB-C. If you are buying pods, it is useful to understand how the battery and pods work together because it affects how many pods you will get through between charges and how fast you will use them up.

A 750mAh battery in a pod kit is a sensible size. It is large enough to get most vapers through a full day at normal use, and small enough that the device stays slim. With a 2ml pod the battery typically outlasts the liquid in one fill on a normal day, and charging overnight or a top-up on a lunch break will usually keep you going. Heavier users, or people who run the lower resistance pods at higher draw, may need to charge once during the day.

  • Charging port: USB-C, so any modern phone charger and cable will do
  • Charge time: roughly an hour from empty on a standard charger
  • Indicator: LED shows the battery state while you draw and while you charge
  • Vaping while charging: possible on some pod kits, but better avoided

A few habits will help the battery last. Charge using a decent quality adapter rather than a very cheap unbranded one, and do not leave the device on charge for days. Do not charge in direct sun or on a radiator, and do not use a damaged cable. Lithium cells are safe in normal use, but they do not like heat or physical damage.

UK users should dispose of the battery section responsibly at the end of its life. Vape batteries should never go in household rubbish or normal recycling bins. Many vape retailers and local council recycling centres accept small electricals and batteries, and under UK waste electrical rules shops that sell vapes are expected to take back old devices. Look for the drop-off points near you before you bin a device.

As for the pods themselves: when a pod comes to the end of its useful life, empty any remaining liquid, let the pod dry, and place the plastic and coil into your local electrical or vape recycling collection where available. Do not put them in a drain or leave them in the street.

Flavour profile: what to expect from your choice of liquid

Because these pods are sold empty, the flavour is entirely down to the e-liquid you choose. That said, the pod itself shapes how that flavour comes across, so here is what you can expect from different types of liquid.

Fruit and ice. This is where mesh coils shine. Fruit flavours come through bright and clean, and a cooling agent adds a sharp, crisp finish without feeling harsh. Blueberry, watermelon, raspberry and mixed berry blends all do well in these pods.

Menthol and mint. Mint is clear and sharp. Because the draw is tight, the cooling sensation lands in the throat and chest rather than only on the tongue. If you want a strong menthol, start with a lower strength of cooling and build up.

Tobacco. A good tobacco liquid tastes noticeably better in a mesh pod than in cheap round-wire cartridges. You get the dry, slightly nutty character without a flat or burnt edge. If you are a smoker moving to vaping, this is often the easiest transition.

Desserts and bakery. Creamy, custard and biscuit flavours work, but they are thicker and sweeter, so the mesh can clog sooner. Use them if you love them, and expect to change the pod a little more often.

Cola, soda and sweets. These often have strong, sharp top notes and come through very well on a tight draw. Many UK vapers end up with a rotation of two or three of these.

  • Prefer thinner liquids (higher PG) for lasting flavour and longer coil life
  • Prefer nicotine salts for a smooth throat hit at low power
  • Avoid very dark, sticky or high-sweetener juices unless you accept shorter pod life
  • Rinse the pod and let it dry fully if you want to change flavour

Flavour carry-over is a real thing. The cotton wick holds on to flavour, so if you switch from a strong menthol to a delicate fruit in the same pod, you will taste the menthol for a while. Dedicating one pod to each flavour family is the cleanest way to avoid that. This is another reason a multi-pack is useful.

Nicotine strength: choosing the right liquid for these pods

In the UK, refillable e-liquid is legally capped at 20mg/ml nicotine strength, and bottles are limited to 10ml. The same 20mg cap applies to nicotine salt liquids, and it is the figure that also governs prefilled and disposable products. That means the strongest liquid you can legally buy in a UK vape shop is 20mg/ml, and you will never need more than that in a Caliburn G2 pod.

Choosing the right strength is a matter of what you are replacing and how you like to vape. Because these pods have a tight draw and moderate power, they work best with nicotine salt liquids rather than traditional freebase liquids. Nic salts give a smoother throat hit at higher strengths, which is exactly what you need in a low-power device.

  • 20mg/ml nic salt: for people who smoked around 15 or more cigarettes a day and want to feel satisfied quickly. It is the strength most people choose when they first switch.
  • 10 to 12mg/ml nic salt: for lighter smokers, for people stepping down, and for vapers who find 20mg too sharp.
  • 3 to 6mg/ml: for people who vape mostly out of habit and do not want a strong nicotine hit. These are usually freebase liquids and work better with a looser, more powerful device.
  • 0mg: available if you want to quit nicotine entirely, although the tight draw is less pleasant with zero-nic liquids.

If you are not sure, start with 12mg or 18mg nic salt, notice how you feel after a few days, and adjust. Too much nicotine shows up as dizziness, nausea, a racing heart or a headache. If that happens, put the device down and drink some water. Next time, go down a strength. Too little shows up as constant puffing, cravings and a feeling that the vape is never quite satisfying.

With the lower resistance 0.8Ω pods, you will draw more vapour per puff, so a nic salt at 10 to 12mg often feels equivalent to 20mg on a higher resistance pod. If you pick a 1.2Ω pod, 18 to 20mg is a more typical match for a smoker.

Vaping is intended for adult smokers and ex-smokers. If you have never smoked, you do not need to start. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or are on medication, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using nicotine products.

How to fill, prime and use the pods

Filling a Caliburn G2 pod takes a minute. Do it carefully, and the pod will perform for its full life. Rush it, and you will face leaks, gurgling or a burnt first puff.

  • Step 1: Remove the pod from the device. Never fill it while it is connected to the battery.
  • Step 2: Open the silicone bung on the fill port with your thumbnail. Keep the pod upright.
  • Step 3: Place the nozzle of your bottle against the fill hole and squeeze slowly. Fill to just below the maximum line. Do not overfill, since flooding the central airflow tube is the number one cause of leaks.
  • Step 4: Press the bung firmly back in so that it sits flush. Wipe any liquid off the outside of the pod.
  • Step 5: Let the pod rest for five to ten minutes with the coil end down. This lets the cotton absorb liquid fully. This is the step most people skip, and it is the step that prevents dry hits.
  • Step 6: Fit the pod to the battery and take two or three gentle draws, with a few seconds between them, before settling into normal use.

To use the device, hold it as you would a cigarette and inhale slowly for two to three seconds. A long, slow draw gives better flavour and less condensation than a short, hard pull. Avoid chain vaping for long stretches, which overheats the coil and dries out the wick.

Refill when the liquid drops to about one third. Do not wait until the pod is empty. If you let the pod run dry, the cotton can scorch, and a scorched wick leaves a permanent burnt taste. Always keep a spare pod in your bag so that you can swap rather than push through a failing one.

For cleaning, wipe the mouthpiece and the base with a dry cloth or tissue. Do not rinse the pod under water with the coil in place unless you are about to switch flavours and plan to let it dry for several hours. Pods that stay wet inside can taste off for the first few draws.

Store the pods upright, away from direct heat, and out of reach of children and pets. E-liquid containing nicotine is poisonous if swallowed, so keep bottles in a safe place and wipe any spills straight away.

Troubleshooting common pod problems

Most problems with refillable pods fall into a handful of categories, and most of them have simple fixes. Work through the list below before you decide a pod is faulty.

  • Pod will not fire. Take the pod out, check the connection pins on both the pod and the battery, and wipe them with a dry cotton bud. Reseat the pod firmly. Make sure the battery is charged. If the LED flashes, the battery may be low or the device may be sensing a poor connection.
  • Burnt taste. Usually caused by a dry wick. Remove the pod, refill, and let it rest for ten minutes. If you have already burnt the coil, no amount of resting will fix it, and the pod needs replacing.
  • Gurgling or spitting. Typically caused by too much liquid in the pod or condensation in the airflow channel. Remove the pod, blow gently through the mouthpiece to clear the channel, and wipe it dry. Avoid overfilling next time.
  • Leaking. Check the bung is fully seated. Check that the pod is not cracked. Check that you have not overfilled. Store the pod upright. Pressure changes on aircraft and in hot cars can also push liquid out of the airflow channel.
  • Weak flavour. Either the liquid is too thick, the pod is nearly worn out, or you have switched flavours recently and the cotton still holds the old one. Replace the pod if it has been in use for a couple of weeks.
  • Hard to draw. The mesh may be clogged by a sweet liquid, or the airflow is blocked by condensation. Clear the channel and try a thinner liquid next time.
  • Sweet or sugary residue on the mouthpiece. Normal with dessert liquids. Wipe it away and avoid pressing the pod into pockets with the plug open.

If you have tried these steps and a new pod still misbehaves, check the battery section. A worn battery or dirty contacts can make a new pod look faulty. Try a second pod from the same pack. If both fail the same way, the problem is the device, not the pods.

If a pod is defective on arrival, contact the shop with a photo and your order number. We cover returns in the FAQ section below, and the process is straightforward.

How they compare with other pod systems

The Caliburn G2 pods sit in a crowded part of the market. Here is a fair comparison with the pod systems people most often cross-shop. The goal is not to say one is better than another, because the right choice depends on what you want from a pod kit.

Vaporesso XROS pods. The XROS range is a close rival and uses a similar approach: small refillable pods with a mesh coil and a tight draw. XROS pods are often a little cheaper per pod, and the range has many different resistances. The Caliburn G2 tends to have a slightly firmer draw and a more established reputation for flavour. Either is a sensible choice.

SMOK Novo pods. Novo pods come in several formats and are widely available. They suit people who want an easy, inexpensive way into pod vaping. Mesh options exist, but in general the flavour is a little less refined than on a good mesh pod.

Voopoo Vmate pods. Vmate pods tend to be more affordable, and the kit is simple. Pod quality is decent, though the coil life can be mixed depending on the liquid.

Uwell Caliburn A2 and other Caliburn pods. If you prefer a different size or a smaller device, other models in the Caliburn range may suit you better. The pods are not interchangeable with G2, so choose the device first and the pods second.

Disposable vapes. These are being phased out in the UK. If you are used to disposables, a refillable pod kit offers more control, lower running costs and less waste. The trade-off is that you have to fill and charge the device yourself.

Sub-ohm tanks and mods. If you want large clouds and a loose lung-style draw, these are the better option. They are bigger, more complicated and use more e-liquid. They are not the best match for someone who wants a pocket-sized smoking replacement.

  • Choose Caliburn G2 pods if you value flavour, a tight draw and a trusted brand
  • Choose a budget pod system if price per pod is your main concern
  • Choose a sub-ohm kit if you want clouds, not discretion

The honest weaknesses of the G2 pods are that they hold only 2ml, they need refilling often if you vape heavily, and the mesh coil is sensitive to very sweet liquids. None of those is a deal breaker, but they are worth knowing before you buy.

Who should buy these pods, and who should not

These pods suit a specific kind of vaper. Knowing whether you fit that group will save you money and frustration.

Good fit for:

  • Adult smokers who are switching to vaping and want a familiar tight draw
  • Existing Caliburn G2 owners who need replacement or spare pods
  • People who like to choose their own e-liquid, flavour and strength
  • Anyone moving away from disposables who wants lower running costs and less waste
  • Vapers who want a discreet, pocketable device that is easy to use

Not a good fit for:

  • Non-smokers and anyone under 18. Nicotine products are for adult smokers and ex-smokers only
  • Cloud chasers who want large vapour production and a loose airflow
  • People who do not want to fill or maintain a device. A prefilled pod or a different product category may suit you better
  • Owners of devices that use a different pod format. Check compatibility first
  • People who vape very thick, sweet liquids all day and will struggle with mesh coil life

If you are a heavy smoker, consider choosing a nicotine salt at 18 to 20mg and the 1.2Ω pod for a cooler, tighter draw. If you are a light smoker or stepping down, pick 10 to 12mg and consider the 0.8Ω pod for flavour. If you are new to vaping, start with a mid-range strength and one flavour you are sure you like rather than buying five at once.

Vaping is not risk-free, but it is substantially less harmful than smoking for adults who switch completely. If you are thinking about quitting nicotine altogether, speak to your local stop smoking service or pharmacist, who can offer free advice and support in the UK.

Pod lifespan, running costs, value for money and delivery

The honest answer to how long a pod lasts is that it depends on how you vape and what you put in it. As a rough guide, a pod will usually deliver anywhere from one to three weeks of use for a moderate daily vaper, which works out as between 5 and 15 fills. Heavy users, people who use sweet liquids, and those who vape at the lower resistance will be at the lower end of that range. Light users who vape thin liquids may stretch a pod to a month.

Signs that a pod is coming to the end include a flat or muted flavour, a faint burnt note that appears on the first draw after a refill, more frequent leaks, or a draw that feels harder than it used to. When two or more of these show up, it is time to swap.

Running costs compare well with smoking and with disposables. Here is a simple way to think about it:

  • Pods: a pack of replacement pods costs a few pounds and lasts weeks to months, depending on the pack size
  • E-liquid: a 10ml bottle of nicotine salt liquid typically costs in the region of a few pounds and lasts a moderate vaper many days
  • Electricity: a charge costs a fraction of a penny

Compare that with a typical 600-puff disposable. Disposables cost a similar or higher amount for a few days of use and then end up in the bin. Since the UK banned the sale of single-use vapes, the choice for most people is now between refillable pod kits and prefilled pod kits, and the refillable route is usually the cheaper of the two over a month or longer.

You can extend pod life a little with the following habits: refill early, use thinner liquids, avoid chain vaping, let the pod rest after each fill, and keep the device away from heat. These are small things and together they can give you a few extra days from every pod.

If you want the cheapest ongoing cost, buy pods in bigger packs and your e-liquid in multipacks of 10ml bottles. Both usually reduce the cost per unit. Keep a spare pod in your bag so that a failed pod never leaves you reaching for a cigarette.

For a consumable item, empty pods offer good value if you use them well. A pack typically costs a few pounds, and with sensible use it provides weeks of vaping. When you compare the cost per week of vaping, a refillable setup is cheaper than a regular disposable habit and far cheaper than smoking.

What affects the value you get from a pack of pods:

  • Pack size: larger packs reduce the cost per pod
  • Liquid choice: thinner liquids prolong the life of each coil
  • Use pattern: steady, moderate draws are kinder to the coil than chain vaping
  • Spare stock: having a spare pod stops you throwing away a good pod prematurely

On delivery, we dispatch from the UK, and standard tracked delivery is available on UK orders. Delivery times and charges are shown at checkout, and orders over the free-delivery threshold qualify for free shipping. Because these are age-restricted products, you will need to be 18 or over, and you may be asked to confirm your age at checkout or on delivery.

If a pod arrives damaged or defective, contact us with your order number and a clear photo within the return window shown in our returns policy. We will arrange a replacement or refund for faulty items. Because pods are in direct contact with the mouth and with liquid, unopened and unused items are the only ones we can accept back for change-of-mind returns, in line with normal hygiene rules for this type of product. Check the returns page for the details that apply to your order.

As a final tip, if you plan to stay with the Caliburn G2 for the long term, buy a larger pack of pods and a few bottles of your regular liquid at the same time. You save on delivery and you will never be caught without a spare. Keep any packaging for the first few days in case you need to make a claim.

Frequently asked questions

What nicotine strength should I put in Uwell Caliburn G2 pods?

Nicotine salt liquid between 10mg/ml and 20mg/ml works best, and 20mg/ml is the legal maximum in the UK. Smokers of around 15 or more cigarettes a day often start at 18 to 20mg/ml, while lighter smokers do well with 10 to 12mg/ml. If you feel dizzy or sick, drop down a strength.

How do I charge the Caliburn G2 when I fit new pods?

The pods themselves do not charge. You charge the Caliburn G2 battery section over USB-C, which takes roughly an hour from empty. Any standard phone charger and cable will do, and the LED shows the battery status while you charge.

Can I swap flavours in the same pod?

You can, but the cotton wick holds on to flavour, so the old taste will linger for a while. For the cleanest switch, empty the pod, rinse the outside only, let it dry for several hours and then refill. Many vapers keep a separate pod for each flavour family, such as one for menthol and one for fruit.

How long does a single Caliburn G2 pod last?

A moderate daily vaper typically gets one to three weeks from a pod, depending on the liquid and the resistance. Sweet dessert liquids and chain vaping shorten that, while thin, fruity or tobacco liquids tend to extend it. Replace the pod when the flavour goes flat or you notice a burnt taste.

Are empty pods better value than disposables?

Over a month or longer, usually yes. A pack of pods plus a few bottles of e-liquid generally costs less than the same period of disposable use, and you also avoid throwing a whole device away every few days. The upfront cost is higher if you do not already own a Caliburn G2 kit.

Who should not buy these pods?

Anyone under 18, and non-smokers, should not use nicotine products. They are also a poor fit for cloud chasers, people who want a ready-to-use prefilled product, and owners of devices that use a different pod format. If you are pregnant or have a heart condition, speak to a healthcare professional first.

Will these pods fit my Uwell Caliburn A2 or other Caliburn device?

Not necessarily. The G2 pod is made for the Caliburn G2, and it may also suit some earlier Caliburn G devices. The A2, A3 and Koko ranges use different pods, so check the compatibility note on the listing or send us a photo of your device before ordering.

Why does my new pod taste burnt?

The most common cause is a dry wick. After filling, let the pod rest for five to ten minutes with the coil end down so the cotton absorbs the liquid, then take a few gentle draws. If the pod still tastes burnt after that, the coil has probably scorched and the pod needs replacing.

Do you deliver these pods across the UK?

Yes, we ship tracked to UK addresses, with delivery options and any charges shown at checkout. These are age-restricted products, so you must be 18 or over and may be asked to confirm your age. Delivery to addresses outside the UK may not be available.

What happens if my pods arrive faulty or leak?

Contact us with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we will arrange a replacement or refund for genuinely faulty items. For hygiene reasons we can only accept unopened, unused pods for change-of-mind returns. Full details are on our returns page.
