What This Blueberry Cherry Cranberry Pod Kit Is

The Uwell Viscore 8000 Puffs Pod Kit in Blueberry Cherry Cranberry is a rechargeable, prefilled pod device from Uwell, priced at £9.49 with a choice of 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt. You choose the strength, the kit arrives with a pod already filled, and that is the end of the setup. There is no bottle to open, no tank to unscrew and no settings menu to learn. The maker rates it at 8,000 puffs, which puts it in the big-puff bracket, and we take that figure apart properly later in this guide.

Uwell is best known among UK vapers for refillable hardware, especially the Caliburn pod systems that have been a fixture of the adult switching market for years. The Viscore line is the same company's take on a sealed, no-fuss format. If you have owned a refillable Caliburn and grown tired of topping it up on the bus, this is the sort of product that keeps the familiar brand name without the bottle.

The flavour is a three-fruit blend of blueberry, cherry and cranberry. That combination tends to read as a mixed berry with a tart finish rather than a straight sugary sweet, and it sits alongside the other berry variants in the Viscore range.

A word on the title. The listing name on this page ends with "40K Puffs", a label inherited from the supplier's naming. The rated figure used throughout this guide is 8,000 puffs, and the packaging in your hands is the final word on what the device is rated for.

It also helps to be clear about what this kit is not. It is not a single-use disposable, because selling those has been illegal in the UK since 1 June 2025. It is a reusable device with a rechargeable battery and a prefilled pod. Among our wider range of vape kits, it sits at the simple, low-maintenance end, aimed at adult smokers and existing vapers who value convenience over tinkering. Everything here is written for buyers aged 18 or over, and nicotine is addictive, so this is not a product for anyone who does not already smoke or vape.

How the Prefilled Pod Turns Liquid Into Vapour

Pull on the mouthpiece and a small sensor does the rest. Most prefilled pod kits in this class are draw activated, which means there is no fire button to hold, although the leaflet in the box will confirm this for your kit. Your breath moves air past the sensor, the battery sends power to the coil, and the coil heats the liquid soaked into the wicking material around it. The vapour travels up through the mouthpiece to you. Stop drawing and the heating stops.

The pod is the heart of the system. In a closed pod design, the liquid reservoir, the coil and the mouthpiece form one sealed unit that clips onto the battery section. Because the coil is part of the pod, you never fit, prime or clean it, and when the pod is spent the coil goes with it. That is the trade for the simplicity, and it is why closed pod kits suit people who want the shortest possible path from unboxing to first draw.

The liquid is nicotine salt. Salt nicotine is formulated to feel smoother in the throat than the freebase nicotine used in older tank liquids, which is why it can be offered at the strengths pod kits typically carry without feeling harsh. Here the choices are 10mg and 20mg per ml. Under UK rules 20mg is the ceiling, and a pod cannot hold more than 2ml of liquid, so nothing sold legally will exceed either limit.

What you control is limited, and that is by design. There is typically no wattage dial and no adjustable airflow ring on a kit like this. Your technique is the only variable. A slow, gentle draw gives a cooler, softer hit, while a harder pull delivers more vapour and a warmer one. Most people settle into a mouth-to-lung rhythm within a few minutes, taking the vapour into the mouth first, pausing, then inhaling.

Understanding this chain makes faults easier to diagnose later. Weak flavour usually points to a coil starved of liquid or a battery running low. A gurgling noise points to excess liquid in the airway. A device that does nothing at all is usually a battery or contact issue rather than a broken pod. We cover each of these in the troubleshooting section further down.

Flavour Profile: Blueberry, Cherry and Cranberry

Berries are rarely just sweet, and a three-fruit blend like this one shows why. Each fruit brings something different, and the interest comes from how they balance. The descriptions below are the typical character of these flavours in vaping, not a formal tasting panel, so treat them as a guide to where the pod sits rather than a promise of exact notes.

  • Blueberry: usually the rounded, jammy base of a blend like this, soft and a little floral rather than sharp.
  • Cherry: tends to arrive as a candy or syrup note, closer to a cherry sweet than to fresh orchard fruit.
  • Cranberry: the dry, tart edge. It stops the sweetness piling up and gives the exhale a cleaner finish.

On the inhale, expect the blueberry and cherry to lead, with the cranberry tartness following towards the end of the draw and lingering a touch on the exhale. That tart finish is the reason this style of blend tends to hold up over a longer stretch. Sweet-only fruit flavours can turn cloying after a few days, while a blend with some acidity stays fresher.

Strength changes how the flavour lands. At 20mg the nicotine adds a firmer throat sensation that can mute the subtler berry notes, while at 10mg the fruit usually comes through more cleanly. If you are choosing between the two mainly on flavour, 10mg is the more forgiving option for tasting the blend, provided it gives you enough nicotine to feel settled.

Palate fatigue is real. After several days on one flavour, many people notice it tastes duller than it did on day one, even though nothing has changed in the pod. Rinsing your mouth with water, or switching to a contrasting flavour for an afternoon, usually restores it. If you want something sharper, the Blueberry Sour Raspberry variant in the same range leans tarter, while Strawberry Raspberry Cherry goes sweeter and more candy-like. Coffee and strongly flavoured food will also flatten what you taste, so judge a new pod on a clean palate.

Who the Viscore 8000 Suits and Who Should Skip It

Convenience is the whole pitch here, so the buyers who get the most from this kit are the ones who value it highest. The clearest fit is an adult smoker who wants to switch and is put off by the fiddly side of vaping. Nothing to fill, nothing to configure and a price under ten pounds mean the barrier to trying it is low.

The second group is existing vapers who want a spare. A sealed pod kit is a sensible backup to keep in a coat pocket or desk drawer, especially if your main device is a refillable setup that you would rather not carry around with a bottle. It is also a tidy option for travel, where you want something self-contained that will not leak liquid into a bag.

A third fit is the person who enjoys fruit blends and does not want to spend an evening comparing coils and resistances. If you know you like berries and you want a reliable, uncomplicated draw, you are the target customer.

There are also people who should look elsewhere. If you enjoy adjusting power and airflow, a refillable vape pod setup will give you far more control, and it can work out cheaper to run over months because bottled e-liquid costs less per millilitre than a sealed pod. If you want zero nicotine, this kit is not the one, because it comes in 10mg and 20mg only. And if you want to avoid vapour altogether, nicotine pouches are a separate product category with their own considerations.

Finally, the obvious limits. This product is for adults aged 18 or over only. If you have never smoked or vaped, there is no reason to start, and nicotine is an addictive substance. We do not describe vaping as a health product, and nothing on this page is medical advice. If you are trying to stop smoking, your GP or local stop smoking service can talk through what support is available.

Specs and Numbers: What Is Actually Confirmed

Here are the figures we can stand behind, and a few we leave out on purpose. Everything in this list is taken from the product data for this listing.

  • Price: £9.49 per kit.
  • Format: prefilled pod kit using nicotine salt liquid.
  • Rated puffs: 8,000, the manufacturer's rating.
  • Nicotine strengths: 10mg and 20mg per ml.
  • Flavour: Blueberry Cherry Cranberry.
  • Category: big-puff pod kit from Uwell.

What is missing is deliberate. We have not published a battery capacity, a pod volume, a coil resistance or a charge time, because we do not hold verified figures for this listing and a guess helps nobody. The box and the leaflet inside it carry the authoritative numbers. If a retailer quotes precise battery or coil data without showing where it comes from, treat it with caution.

Now the puff rating. A puff count is an estimate worked out by the manufacturer from the amount of liquid and a test routine with a fixed draw length and interval. Real vapers draw longer, shorter, more often and less often than the test does, so the real number varies a great deal. A better way to judge it is in days. Someone who vapes steadily through the day will finish a pod far faster than someone who takes a few draws now and then.

Where does 8,000 sit? Ratings around 6,000 puffs are the traditional bar-style class, while many products in the big-puff vape kits collection now claim 10,000, 15,000 and beyond. Because UK pods are capped at 2ml of liquid, a rating of this size should be read as a ceiling from a favourable test, not a promise of what one pod will deliver. The 8,000 figure here falls in the middle of the market, which is a fair place to be for a kit at this price.

Getting Started: Unboxing and Your First Draws

Setting up takes about five minutes if you do it in order. Open the box on a clean, dry surface and check the contents before the first draw. You are looking for an intact seal, the leaflet, and a device and pod that match what you ordered. The pack should carry the nicotine health warning and ingredient details required for UK vaping products. If anything is damaged, leaking or missing, stop there and contact us rather than trying it.

Then follow a short routine.

  • Remove any protective film, plastic caps or stickers from the pod and the device, including any tab covering the contacts.
  • Seat the pod firmly until it clicks or sits flush. It should not rock or wobble.
  • Wait a few minutes before the first draw, so the liquid has time to soak into the wicking material around the coil. Skipping this is the most common cause of a dry or burnt first taste.
  • Take two or three gentle draws of a couple of seconds each, with pauses between them.
  • Check the light indicator, if your kit has one, and refer to the leaflet for what each colour or flash pattern means.

Technique matters more than people expect. Hold the kit upright where you can, and draw slowly. A slow draw is quieter, cooler and uses less liquid. A hard, fast draw can pull liquid through the coil faster than it can vaporise, which tastes harsh and can cause spitting or gurgling.

Pace yourself on the first day. Nicotine salt at 20mg is quicker to take effect than many people expect, and a first session of chain vaping can leave you light-headed or queasy. Take a few draws, wait ten minutes, and see how you feel. If you are an ex-smoker you will quickly learn how much it takes to settle a craving, and that tells you whether you picked the right strength. If you feel dizzy, nauseous or jittery, stop and consider the lower strength next time.

Use the kit only for its intended purpose, keep it away from children and pets, and do not take it into places where vaping is prohibited, such as public transport and most indoor workplaces. Rules vary, so look for signage and ask if you are unsure.

Charging and Battery Habits That Protect the Kit

Battery care is the part of owning a rechargeable kit that most people ignore until something goes wrong. Like almost every rechargeable vape, the Viscore 8000 relies on a lithium battery, and a few habits will keep it behaving predictably for the whole life of the device.

Charge it through the port on the device using a good-quality USB charger and an undamaged cable. Check the box or the leaflet for the connector type rather than assuming, because we do not list one for this model. Avoid cheap unbranded chargers and frayed leads, which are a common source of battery trouble.

A few sensible rules apply to every charge.

  • Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface such as a table, and never on a bed, sofa or cushion.
  • Do not leave it charging unattended or overnight.
  • Unplug it once the indicator shows a full charge, and do not use it while connected unless the leaflet says that is fine.
  • Never charge a device that is hot, damaged, wet or visibly swollen.
  • Keep it out of direct sun, hot cars and freezing conditions, all of which age lithium cells.

How long a charge lasts depends on how you use it. Frequent, heavy draws drain a battery quickly, while occasional use may stretch a charge across several days. The mismatch worth knowing about is between the battery and the pod. Sometimes a charge outlasts the liquid, and sometimes the pod outlasts the battery. A good habit is to top up the charge when you notice the pod is about half gone, so you are never left holding liquid with no power to heat it.

A kit that stops responding mid-session is often simply flat, so plug it in for a short while before assuming a fault. When the kit finally reaches the end of its life, do not put it in household rubbish or recycling bins. Lithium batteries can start fires in refuse lorries and sorting plants. Take it to a household waste recycling centre or a retailer take-back point for electrical waste instead.

Choosing Between 10mg and 20mg Nicotine Salt

Ten or twenty? That single choice at checkout shapes everything that follows. Pick too low and you chain vape because the pod never quite satisfies. Pick too high and you feel dizzy and unwell. The listing offers 10mg and 20mg, and the numbers mean milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid. 20mg is the maximum strength allowed in UK products.

Here is a rough guide, not medical advice.

  • 20mg tends to suit people who smoked around ten or more cigarettes a day, or who reach for one within half an hour of waking.
  • 10mg tends to suit lighter or social smokers, people already vaping at a lower strength, and anyone who found a previous 20mg device too harsh.

Salt nicotine behaves differently from the freebase nicotine used in many bottled e-liquids. It is smoother, so a 20mg salt does not feel as harsh as a 20mg freebase would, yet it still delivers nicotine efficiently. People moving from cigarettes sometimes underestimate this, which is why feeling light-headed on day one is common at the higher strength. If you want to see how the same idea works in bottles, our nicotine salt e-liquids range uses the same formulation approach for refillable devices.

Signs your strength is too high include dizziness, nausea, headaches, a racing heart or a very harsh throat hit. Signs it is too low include finishing the pod unusually fast, vaping almost constantly, or finding yourself back at cigarettes. Neither is a diagnosis, just a practical signal to adjust at your next purchase.

Many people begin on the higher strength and step down as cravings ease, though others do the reverse, and there is no wrong route. If you are unsure, start at 10mg if you were a light smoker and 20mg if you were a heavier one, then reassess after a week. If you want a nicotine-free option, this kit is not the right product, as it only comes in 10mg and 20mg. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or take regular medication, speak to a healthcare professional before using any nicotine product.

Storage, Travel and Looking After Spare Pods

Heat is the enemy of any sealed pod kit. Keep this one upright where you can, at normal room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Warmth thins the liquid and makes leaks more likely, while a freezing car in winter can thicken it and leave you with a sluggish, muted first few draws. A dashboard or a windowsill in July is the worst place you could leave it.

Pockets and bags deserve a thought. Loose keys, coins and tools can touch the metal contacts and cause trouble, so carry the kit in a separate pocket or a small case if you have one. If your kit has a mouthpiece cover, use it. It keeps lint and dust out of the airway and helps to stop any residual liquid from seeping into a bag.

Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Nicotine liquid is poisonous if swallowed, and small sealed pods are easy to chew. Store the kit and any spare pods in a drawer or box that younger family members cannot open, and never decant liquid into other containers. If a child or pet does come into contact with the liquid, seek medical or veterinary advice straight away.

Travelling needs a little planning. Airlines generally want devices with lithium batteries in hand luggage rather than the hold, and vaping is not allowed on board. Rules differ between airlines and between countries, and some countries ban vapes outright or restrict nicotine, so check the destination before you leave the UK rather than at the airport.

Spare pods, where matching ones are available, are best kept in their original packaging, sealed, upright and cool, and used before the date printed on the box. Browse the prefilled vape pods collection to see what is in stock, and do not assume a pod from another Uwell kit will fit this device. Compatibility is set by the shape of the pod and its contacts, and forcing in a pod that does not fit can damage both parts.

Strengths, Weaknesses and Value at £9.49

No product suits everybody, so here is the honest ledger. First, what works in its favour.

  • Simple to use, with no filling, no coil changes and no settings to learn.
  • A low entry price at £9.49, which makes a trial affordable.
  • A familiar brand with a long record in pod hardware.
  • A mixed berry flavour with a tart finish that holds up over several days.
  • Two nicotine strengths to choose from.
  • A compact, self-contained format with no loose liquid to carry.

And the downsides.

  • Little control, with no adjustable power or airflow as far as the listing shows.
  • A closed system, so when the pod is finished you replace the pod or the kit rather than topping up liquid.
  • An optimistic puff rating, since real pod life depends heavily on how you vape.
  • One flavour per pod, and no tobacco option in this listing.
  • A rechargeable battery that needs care and will eventually wear out.
  • Sealed pods generally cost more per millilitre than bottled liquid.

Value depends on how fast you go through pods, not on the number printed on the box. Treat £9.49 as the starting cost, then check what spare pods cost and how long one lasts you. A heavy user who finishes a pod in two days will spend very differently from someone who stretches one across a week. Our vape deals page is worth a look if you plan to buy more than one item, because multibuy offers can change the maths.

If this turns out not to be quite right, the nearest alternatives are bigger-rated kits, such as those in the 10,000 puff vape range, which offer more rated puffs at a different price, or a refillable pod system for lower running costs. We would rather you picked the right device than simply the cheapest one.

Troubleshooting Weak Flavour, Leaks and Dead Draws

Most faults on a prefilled pod kit trace back to a short list of causes, and many can be fixed in a minute. Work through the symptom that matches yours before assuming the device is broken.

  • No vapour at all: check the pod is fully seated, wipe the contacts with a dry cloth and charge the battery for a short while. A flat battery is the most common culprit.
  • Weak or muted flavour: usually a low battery, a nearly empty pod or palate fatigue. Try a different flavour for a day to reset your taste.
  • Burnt or harsh taste: the coil is dry or the pod is spent. Do not keep pulling on it. Replace the pod, and remember that chain vaping and very long draws speed this up.
  • Gurgling or spitting: excess liquid in the airway. Hold the kit upright, wipe the mouthpiece and take shorter, gentler draws.
  • Leaking: the pod may be loose, cracked or exposed to heat. Wipe the contacts dry, reseat the pod and store the kit upright.
  • Flashing light: flash patterns vary by device, so check the leaflet. Many indicate a low battery or a connection problem.

Do not open the pod, pierce it or try to refill it, and never attempt to repair the battery. Besides being unsafe, it makes it harder for us to assess a genuine fault later.

If it still misbehaves after those steps, note when the fault started, take a clear photo of the device and the packaging, and get in touch via our contact page with your order number. Faulty items are replaced free of charge, and we would much rather sort a problem out than have you struggle with it. Keep the packaging and any batch details printed on it until you are sure the product is working properly.

Delivery, Age Checks and Returns in Brief

This is an 18+ product, so ordering has one extra step. Checkout includes an age verification check, and you can read how it works on our age verification page. We cannot sell to anyone under 18, and a failed check means the order will not go through. Buying nicotine products on behalf of someone under 18 is against the law, so please do not.

Delivery is straightforward. UK orders over £20 ship free, with a small charge below that, and our shipping information page has the current rates and timings. Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day, and parcels travel by a tracked service so you can follow them. Packaging is plain and discreet. At £9.49 this kit alone sits under the free delivery threshold, so adding a second item is the easy way round the charge.

On returns, unopened and sealed products can be sent back within 14 days. Opened consumables, including pods and e-liquids, cannot be returned for health and safety reasons, so please check the flavour and strength carefully before you order. If an item arrives faulty, we replace it free of charge, and the contact page is the place to start.

Before you order, run through a short checklist. Confirm the flavour is Blueberry Cherry Cranberry. Confirm whether you want 10mg or 20mg. Check that the delivery address is somewhere the parcel can be received safely. Keep your order confirmation until you have tried the kit and are happy it works as it should.

That is the whole picture of the Uwell Viscore 8000 in this flavour: a simple, sealed pod kit with a berry blend that has a tart finish, a modest price and a rating you should read as an estimate. Whether it suits you comes down to how much you value convenience over control.

Frequently asked questions

How many puffs does the Uwell Viscore 8000 Blueberry Cherry Cranberry kit last?

The manufacturer rates it at 8,000 puffs, but that figure is an estimate from a test routine, not a promise. Pod life in real use depends on draw length, how often you vape and the nicotine strength you choose. Heavy users may finish a pod in a couple of days, while light users can stretch one across a week or more. Treat 8,000 as an upper figure and judge value by how many days a pod lasts you.

Why does the title say 40K Puffs when the rating is 8,000?

The 40K Puffs wording is a label carried over from the supplier's listing, and it does not match the 8,000 puff rating given in the product data. We use 8,000 as the working figure throughout this page. To be certain, check the printed rating on the box when it arrives, and contact us if anything on the packaging looks different from what you ordered.

Should I choose 10mg or 20mg?

20mg per ml is the UK legal maximum and generally suits people who smoked ten or more cigarettes a day. 10mg suits lighter smokers and anyone who finds higher strengths harsh. Dizziness, nausea or jitters are signs to drop down at your next purchase. This is a practical guide, not medical advice. Nicotine is addictive, and this product is for adults aged 18 or over only.

Is this a disposable vape?

No. Selling single-use vapes has been illegal in the UK since 1 June 2025. This is a reusable pod kit with a rechargeable battery and a prefilled pod. The big-puff format makes some shoppers think of disposables, but the device is designed to be charged and, when it finally wears out, recycled responsibly through a proper electrical waste route rather than thrown away.

How do I charge it?

Use the charging port on the device with a good-quality USB charger and an undamaged cable. Check the leaflet in the box for the connector type, because we do not list a verified charge time or battery size. Charge on a hard surface, do not leave it unattended or overnight, and stop using it if it becomes hot, damaged or swollen.

Can I refill the pod or buy replacement pods?

Treat the pod as sealed and never open or refill it. Replacement pods may be available through our prefilled vape pods collection, but do not assume a pod from another Uwell kit will fit. Check the product listing for compatibility before buying, or contact us and we will help you check before you spend any money.

What does Blueberry Cherry Cranberry taste like?

Expect a mixed berry profile with a soft, jammy blueberry, a sweet candy-like cherry and a dry, tart cranberry finish. That is the typical character of these flavours rather than an exact tasting note. At 10mg the fruit generally comes through more clearly, while at 20mg the stronger throat hit can mask some of the subtler notes.

How quickly will my order arrive, and will I be asked for ID?

Weekday orders placed before 4pm are dispatched the same day on a tracked service, and UK delivery is free on orders over £20. Checkout includes an age verification step and you must be 18 or over to buy. Packaging is plain and discreet. Our shipping page has the current rates and timings.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Unopened, sealed products can be returned within 14 days. Opened consumables, such as pods, cannot be returned for health and safety reasons, so check your flavour and strength before ordering. Faulty items are replaced free of charge. If something arrives damaged or not working, contact us with your order number and a clear photo.

What should I do if it leaks or stops working?

Wipe the contacts dry, reseat the pod, charge the battery for a short while and store the device upright away from heat. Never open the pod or try to repair the battery. If the fault remains, contact us with your order number and a clear photo, and we will arrange a replacement where the fault is genuine.
