Uwell Viscore 8000 Blue Razz Lemonade at a glance

The Uwell Viscore 8000 Blue Razz Lemonade is a prefilled pod kit rated at 8,000 puffs, and at £9.49 it sits at the gentler end of the big-puff market. In the pack you get the Viscore device, a pod that is already filled and a refill cartridge for later. The flavour pairs sweet blue raspberry with a sharp lemonade finish, and it comes in two nicotine salt strengths, 10mg and 20mg. Like everything we sell, it is for adults aged 18 and over only.

Uwell is best known in the UK for the Caliburn family, the pod systems that introduced a lot of people to rechargeable vaping. The Viscore takes the same pod-first thinking and points it at shoppers who want a long gap between purchases without carrying a bulky mod. The rest of the line-up, from Caliburn kits to coils and replacement pods, lives on our Uwell brand page.

It helps to be precise about the format, because "pod kit", "vape kit" and "disposable" get used loosely. This is a rechargeable kit, not a throw-away stick. The pod arrives filled, so there is no bottle to open on day one, and the extra refill cartridge carries the liquid needed to reach the full 8,000 puff rating. If you are still deciding between formats, our pod kits collection shows how the Viscore compares with refillable and closed-pod options from other brands.

The short version of what you are buying:

  • Device: Uwell Viscore 8000 prefilled pod kit, rechargeable
  • Flavour: Blue Razz Lemonade, a blue raspberry and lemonade blend
  • Rating: up to 8,000 puffs, a manufacturer estimate
  • Strengths: 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt
  • Price: £9.49 per kit

The rest of this guide goes through the pack contents, the flavour, the numbers, the nicotine choice, setup, battery care, troubleshooting and delivery, so you can decide quickly whether this is the right kit for you.

What is in the pack and how the refill system works

Open the box and three parts matter: the Viscore device, a 2ml prefilled pod and a 10ml refill cartridge. Anything else, such as a charging cable or leaflets, can vary between batches, so check the insert as you unpack.

The split between a small pod and a larger refill cartridge is the clever part of this design. UK rules cap the pod or tank on a nicotine vape at 2ml, which is why no single pod can hold enough liquid for thousands of puffs. Uwell works within that limit by pairing the 2ml pod with a 10ml cartridge that tops the pod up as it runs down. Add the two together and the kit carries up to 12ml of e-liquid in total, which is what makes a headline rating of 8,000 puffs believable rather than fanciful.

The exact docking steps are shown on the diagram inside the pack, and it is worth following that diagram rather than improvising. A cartridge that is not fully seated is the most common reason for a leak with any pod system that has a separate refill, so give it a firm, straight push and listen or feel for it to settle.

Inside the pod sits a 0.8 ohm mesh coil. Mesh spreads the heat across a wider surface than a traditional wire coil, which tends to give steadier flavour from the first draw to the last. A resistance in this region suits the mouth-to-lung style that most nicotine salt users prefer: a slow, fairly tight draw into the mouth, a brief pause, then an inhale.

You do not need to buy anything extra to get going. There is no bottle to open and no wire to wick, which is why prefilled kits appeal to people leaving the single-use habit behind and to anyone who has never filled a tank in their life. If you are curious how other prefilled formats work, the prefilled vape pods collection is a useful place to compare.

One practical point: keep the packaging insert somewhere safe for the first week. It carries the diagram, the charging guidance and the support details for your specific batch, and those are the details that matter if you ever need to check something the moment it goes wrong.

Blue razz and lemonade: the flavour in detail

Blue razz is British vape shorthand for blue raspberry, the bright, sweet, slightly candy-like flavour you may remember from slush drinks and sherbet sweets rather than from a punnet of fruit. In this kit it is paired with lemonade, and that pairing is what stops the flavour being one-note.

On the inhale, expect the sweetness to arrive first: the rounded, jammy side of raspberry with the blue-sweet edge that makes the flavour recognisable. The lemonade follows behind it and lingers on the exhale, bringing a tart citrus lift that cuts through the sugar. Picture a chilled bottle of cloudy lemonade with a splash of blue raspberry cordial stirred in and you will be close.

It is worth saying what this flavour is not. Nothing in the name suggests a cooling element, so do not expect a menthol blast. If you want that, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice or Watermelon Ice from the same range would suit you better. It is not creamy or dessert-like either; the nearest the range gets to that is Milky Strawberry.

Because the kit uses nicotine salts and a mesh coil, the flavour tends to feel smooth rather than harsh, particularly at 10mg. The 20mg version delivers a firmer throat hit, which can make the lemon edge feel sharper. If you are sensitive to acidic flavours, the lower strength is the easier match.

A few practical notes on how fruit and citrus profiles behave in general:

  • The first few draws after fitting a pod can taste slightly muted while the coil wicks fully, so do not judge the flavour on a single puff.
  • Sweet flavours leave a sugary film on the palate, so a sip of water between sessions keeps the lemon clean and bright.
  • Flavour fatigue is real over a long-lasting kit. If it begins to taste flatter after a week or two, a day with something different usually resets your palate.

If Blue Razz Lemonade is not quite your style, the same line also includes Pink Lemonade, Lemon & Lime and Blueberry Sour Raspberry, which tweak the fruit-and-citrus idea in different directions.

Reading the 8,000 puff rating realistically

Eight thousand puffs sounds precise, but it is a laboratory-style estimate rather than a promise. Manufacturers reach a rating like this by running the device on a machine that takes short, even, evenly spaced draws. People are not machines. Longer pulls, back-to-back draws and a higher nicotine strength all use more liquid and more battery per puff, so your own count will drift above or below the headline figure.

A more useful way to think about it is days rather than puffs. If you take about 100 draws a day, 8,000 puffs stretches to roughly 80 days. At 200 draws a day it is about 40 days, and at 400 draws a day closer to 20. Those are illustrations of the arithmetic, not guarantees, but they show why a big-puff kit suits some habits better than others.

Your best real-world signal is the liquid itself, not a count in your head. The kit is built around a 2ml pod that is topped up from a 10ml refill cartridge, so you can watch your progress through the cartridge as you go. When the cartridge is empty and the pod is running low, you are near the end of the rating. A pod that starts to taste burnt while the cartridge still has liquid in it usually points to a seating or priming problem rather than a used-up kit, which the troubleshooting section below covers.

It also helps to know where 8,000 puffs sits in the market. It is a mid-to-high rating: well above a basic 600 puff starter, but short of the extra-large devices. If you want a longer run, 10,000 puff vapes stretch the gap between purchases further, usually at a higher price per kit. If you only vape occasionally, a 6,000 puff device may be all you need and costs less up front.

Matching the rating to your habit matters more than chasing the biggest number. A kit that you finish in a reasonable time stays enjoyable, while one left half-used for months can leave you with a battery you have to keep topping up and a flavour you have gone off.

Specifications and price per puff

Numbers first, opinions second. Here is the specification summary for the Uwell Viscore 8000 Blue Razz Lemonade as it is widely published for this model:

  • Brand: Uwell
  • Format: rechargeable prefilled pod kit with a separate refill cartridge
  • Rated life: up to 8,000 puffs
  • Battery: built-in, 1900mAh
  • Charging: USB Type-C
  • Pod: 2ml prefilled, with a 0.8 ohm mesh coil
  • Refill cartridge: 10ml, giving up to 12ml of liquid in total
  • Nicotine: 10mg or 20mg nicotine salt
  • Flavour: Blue Razz Lemonade
  • Price: £9.49

Manufacturers do revise kits between production runs, so treat the printed insert in your pack as the final word on specifications. If something on the insert differs from the list above, the insert wins.

Now the price maths. At £9.49 for 8,000 rated puffs, you are paying about £1.19 for every 1,000 puffs, or roughly 12p per 100. That figure is useful for comparing devices, but only if you compare like with like. A cheaper kit with a lower rating can cost more per puff, while a pricier kit with a huge rating can cost less per puff but take months to finish, which only suits heavy daily use.

A few things the per-puff figure does not capture: flavour choice, battery quality, the convenience of a prefilled pod and whether you are comfortable with a kit that has a separate cartridge to look after. To see how the Viscore stacks up against other devices built for long life, the big-puff vape kits collection lets you compare prices and ratings side by side.

One more derived figure: with up to 12ml of liquid behind an 8,000 puff rating, the kit works out at roughly 1.5ml of e-liquid per 1,000 rated puffs. It is a rough guide to how generously the kit is stocked rather than a measurement, but it is handy if you are weighing it against a device that quotes a different capacity.

Choosing between 10mg and 20mg nicotine

Nicotine strength is the setting people most often get wrong, and with a prefilled kit you cannot change it after purchase, so it is worth a minute of thought. This kit comes in 10mg and 20mg, both as nicotine salt. Nicotine salts are formulated to feel smoother on the throat than traditional freebase liquids at the same strength, which is why they are the usual choice for pod kits.

Twenty milligrams per millilitre, which is the same as 2%, is the maximum strength allowed in the UK, so 20mg is the top of the range and the strongest you can legally buy. It delivers a firmer throat hit and a more noticeable nicotine effect per puff. Ten milligrams is half of that, giving a gentler hit and a softer feel.

As a rough guide:

  • Choose 20mg if you are a heavier smoker, if you want a pronounced throat hit, or if you know from experience that lower strengths leave you reaching for the device far more often.
  • Choose 10mg if you smoke lightly, if you are sensitive to throat hit, if you plan to vape often through the day in small sessions, or if you found other strengths harsh.

There is a trade-off worth knowing about. Because a stronger liquid satisfies faster, people on 20mg often take fewer, shorter draws, while people on 10mg may take more. That can make the real-world puff count differ from the rating. If you are unsure, 10mg is the more forgiving place to start, and you can move up on your next purchase if it does not satisfy you. Moving down from a strength that is too harsh is a less comfortable lesson.

If you later move to a refillable setup, the same strengths and the same salt format are available in bottles, and you can browse them in our nicotine salt e-liquids collection.

Please keep in mind that nicotine is addictive. These kits are intended for adults who already smoke or vape, and they are not suitable for anyone who does not currently use nicotine. If you are pregnant, have a health condition or take medication, speak to a medical professional before using any nicotine product.

First use: setting up and your first draws

Before the first draw, a few minutes of preparation pay off. Most early complaints about pod kits, from a muted flavour to a burnt taste, trace back to skipped setup rather than a faulty kit. Work through the steps below in order.

  • Unpack and inspect. Take the device, pod and cartridge out and remove any protective film, caps or tape. Check the pod for visible damage and the device contacts for dirt.
  • Fit the pod. Push it in firmly and straight until it seats. Wobble means it is not in properly.
  • Connect the refill cartridge. Follow the diagram in the pack. Keep the device upright while you do it, to avoid air gaps and spills.
  • Wait a few minutes. Letting the coil soak is the single best tip for a good first impression. Mesh coils need time to wick.
  • Top up the battery if needed. A partly charged device is fine, but do not let it sit flat for days.
  • Take gentle first draws. Start with two or three slow draws with the device held upright, without inhaling deeply, to get liquid through the coil.

As for how to draw, the kit is generally described as inhale-activated, which means you simply breathe in through the mouthpiece and it fires. Use a slow, steady pull of around four seconds into the mouth, pause, and then inhale. Rushed, hard drags can outpace the wick, leaving the coil dry and the flavour harsh. If your unit shows a mode indicator or display, choose the lower output setting until you know how you like it.

Give the coil a short rest between sessions. Chain-vaping heats the mesh faster than the pod can feed it, which is the classic route to a burnt taste. Taking a few draws, putting the device down, and picking it up again a few minutes later gives the liquid time to catch up and keeps the flavour clean for much longer.

If the device does not fire, do not keep drawing harder. Check the pod seating, check the battery level and check that nothing is blocking the airflow, then try again.

Battery life and charging habits

A built-in 1900mAh battery is the engine behind the Viscore, and it recharges through a USB Type-C port, the same connector found on most modern phones and tablets. That is good news in daily life, because it means you very likely own a suitable cable already.

It also means the battery is not a disposable part of the kit. You will charge it several times over the life of the 8,000 puff rating, and how you treat it makes a difference to how well it holds up. The habits below cost nothing and help.

  • Top up before it is flat. Lithium cells prefer regular small top-ups to being run to zero every time.
  • Use a sensible charger. A standard USB adapter or computer port is fine. Avoid damaged cables, loose ports and unbranded chargers of unknown quality.
  • Do not charge unattended. Never leave any rechargeable device charging overnight or while you are out, and keep it on a hard, clear surface away from bedding and sofas.
  • Unplug before you vape. Use the device when it is not connected to a charger, unless the insert says otherwise.
  • Keep it away from heat. A hot car dashboard or a sunny windowsill is a poor place to leave a battery.
  • Keep it clear of keys and coins. Metal objects loose in a bag or pocket can contact the device in ways you do not want.

We do not quote a fixed charging time on this page, because it depends on your adapter and on how flat the battery was. Your insert will give the manufacturer's guidance, and that is the number to follow. If the device warms up noticeably while charging, stop, unplug it and let it cool. If it swells, smells odd or stays hot, stop using it.

When the kit has reached the end of its life, do not put it in household bin bags. Lithium batteries can start fires in refuse trucks and sorting plants, so the device should go to a battery recycling point or a retailer recycling scheme.

Pros, cons and who this kit really suits

No pod kit suits everybody, so here is an honest split. Start with what the Viscore does well:

  • Easy start. The pod arrives filled and there is no coil or bottle to deal with on day one.
  • Long run between purchases. A rating of 8,000 puffs and a 10ml refill cartridge mean fewer reorders than a smaller kit.
  • Smooth, tight draw. A mesh coil and nicotine salt suit mouth-to-lung users who want a gentle throat feel.
  • Rechargeable. USB Type-C charging with a built-in battery makes it more practical than a single-use stick.
  • Sensible price. At £9.49 it costs roughly £1.19 per 1,000 rated puffs.

And the drawbacks worth weighing:

  • Two moving parts. The separate cartridge adds a step, and a badly seated one can leak.
  • Strength is fixed. You choose 10mg or 20mg at purchase and cannot adjust it.
  • Not pocket-light. Big-capacity kits are larger than small starter devices.
  • One flavour per kit. If you like to switch through the day, you would need more than one.
  • Estimated life. The 8,000 puff rating is a lab figure, not a guarantee.

The people it suits best are adults who want a reliable, flavour-led pod kit with a long run between purchases and minimal fiddling. It is a sensible fit for someone moving away from single-use devices who wants something that behaves in a similar way but with a battery you recharge.

It is less well suited to someone who vapes only a few times a week, who would probably prefer a lower rating, or to someone who wants to mix their own e-liquid, who would be better served by a refillable system. If you want a simpler device with no cartridge to seat at all, take a look at our closed pod vape kits, where the pod is a single sealed unit and the routine is as basic as it gets.

Storage, care and troubleshooting

Most problems with pod kits come down to three things: heat, orientation and patience. Looking after the Viscore well, and knowing what to do when it misbehaves, keeps the flavour clean for the whole rating.

For storage, keep the kit upright or lying flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and radiators. Do not leave it in a hot car. If you will not be using it for a while, top up the battery partway first, and give it a few gentle draws before you resume. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never store it in a pocket with keys or loose change.

When something goes wrong, work through these common cases:

  • Weak or muted flavour. Check the pod is fully seated, wait a few minutes for the coil to wick, and slow your draws. If the cartridge is empty, the pod will run low and taste thin.
  • Burnt taste. This usually means the coil is running dry. Rest the device, take shorter draws and make sure the cartridge is connected properly. A burnt coil cannot be fixed, so avoid chain-vaping.
  • Gurgling or leaking. Look for a cartridge that is not seated, keep the device upright and wipe any liquid from the contacts before using it again.
  • No vapour when you draw. Check the battery, check the pod seating and make sure the airflow is clear. Try a short charge.
  • Will not charge. Try a different cable and adapter, and look at the port for lint or debris. If it still refuses to charge, stop and get in touch rather than forcing a cable in.
  • Sweet sticky residue. Wipe the mouthpiece and contacts with a dry tissue. Do not use water on the contacts.

If none of those fixes the problem, do not keep fighting the device. Our contact page will put you in touch with the team, and we will help you work out whether it is a fault. Faulty items can be returned within 30 days for a replacement or refund, so there is no need to stay out of pocket because of a defect.

Value, alternatives and what to pair it with

Value is more than the sticker price. At £9.49 the Viscore is cheap per puff, but the real test is whether you enjoy the flavour all the way through, because a flavour you tire of is poor value however low the price.

That is a reason to think about variety. This flavour is one of ten in the Viscore 8000 line we stock at the moment, covering fruit and lemonade options, ice flavours, a cola and a milky strawberry. If you are not sure that blue raspberry and lemonade is your thing, ordering two different flavours is a better experiment than committing to one. For multibuy offers and promotional pricing, check the vape deals page, which is updated as offers change.

If you are comparing this kit with the single-use style you used before, browse the disposable-style vapes collection to see how prices and ratings line up. The usual argument for a rechargeable pod kit over a throw-away device is that the battery gets reused and less ends up as waste. Another is control: with a pod kit you can charge when it suits you and choose a flavour you actually enjoy.

If you outgrow the Viscore, there are natural next steps within the same brand. The Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite pod vape kit, at £9.99, is a replaceable-pod system where you choose your own e-liquid. The Caliburn G4 Pro, at £24.99, is a step up in build and features. Both sit on the Uwell page alongside the replacement pods and coils they use.

As for pairing, there is very little to buy. A spare USB Type-C cable for your bag or desk is the most useful addition, since you will charge the kit more than once. A small case or pouch protects the mouthpiece from pocket fluff. Beyond that, the kit is designed to work out of the box, and that simplicity is a large part of its appeal.

Delivery, age checks and returns

Buying a vape online should be uneventful, so here is exactly what to expect from us. Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and takes two to three working days. Under £20 it costs £2.99, and next-day delivery is £4.99 for orders placed before 4pm on a weekday. We also aim for same-day dispatch on weekday orders before 4pm. The full details sit on our delivery and returns page, and parcels go out in discreet plain packaging.

Because this is a nicotine product, you must be 18 or over to buy it. Every visitor confirms their age on entry, and every order is verified electronically. Where a check is inconclusive, we may ask for ID before dispatch, so it is worth having a document to hand if your order is held for a moment. You can read how the process works on our age verification page before you order.

Everything we sell is genuine product. Check the contents when your parcel arrives: the device, the pod and the refill cartridge should all be present, and anything missing or damaged should be reported straight away with your order number.

On returns, the rules are straightforward. Unopened, unsealed products can be returned within 14 days. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns on opened e-liquids, disposables or pods, so please do not fit the pod until you are happy with your choice of flavour and strength. If a kit turns out to be faulty, it can be returned within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Keep the packaging and your order number until you are sure everything works as expected, which makes any claim much quicker to sort out.

If you have a question that is not answered here, such as whether a delivery will arrive by a particular date or how to report a damaged parcel, our team and our FAQ page are the place to start.

Frequently asked questions

How many puffs does the Uwell Viscore 8000 Blue Razz Lemonade give?

It is rated at up to 8,000 puffs, which is a manufacturer estimate based on machine testing with short, even draws. Real-world numbers vary with how long you draw, how often you vape and which nicotine strength you choose. As a rough illustration, about 100 draws a day would last around 80 days, and about 200 draws a day would last around 40 days. Treat the rating as a guide for comparing devices, not a guarantee.

What does Blue Razz Lemonade taste like?

Expect a sweet, candy-style blue raspberry on the inhale, followed by a tart lemonade finish on the exhale. It is a fruit-and-citrus flavour without a cooling or menthol element, so it feels bright rather than icy. Nicotine salt and a mesh coil keep it smooth, particularly at 10mg. If you want something cooler, other flavours in the Viscore range, such as Watermelon Ice or Cherry Ice, are a better match.

Should I choose 10mg or 20mg?

Choose 10mg if you smoke lightly, prefer a softer throat hit or vape in many small sessions through the day. Choose 20mg if you are a heavier smoker or want a firmer hit. 20mg per millilitre is the UK legal maximum. Strength is fixed in a prefilled kit, so if you are unsure, 10mg is the more forgiving starting point. Nicotine is addictive and these kits are for adults who already use nicotine products.

How do I charge the kit and how long does it take?

The Viscore charges through a USB Type-C port, the same connector as most modern phones. Use a standard USB adapter or computer port and an undamaged cable. We do not quote a fixed charging time because it depends on your charger and how flat the battery is, so follow the guidance printed on the insert in your pack. Never leave it charging unattended or overnight, and unplug it if it gets noticeably hot.

Is this a disposable vape?

No. It is a rechargeable pod kit with a built-in battery, a prefilled 2ml pod and a separate 10ml refill cartridge. That design lets the pod be topped up as it runs down, which is how the kit reaches a rating of 8,000 puffs while staying within the UK 2ml pod limit. Because the battery is rechargeable, it behaves differently from a single-use stick, even though the prefilled pod makes it just as easy to start.

What is in the box?

The core parts are the Viscore device, a prefilled pod and a refill cartridge. Extras such as a charging cable and leaflets can vary by batch, so check the insert when you unpack. The insert also carries the diagram showing how to connect the cartridge, and it is worth keeping for the first week. If anything is missing when the parcel arrives, contact us with your order number and we will look into it.

Why does my kit taste burnt or weak?

A burnt taste usually means the coil is running dry, which happens with chain-vaping, very long draws or a pod that is not fully seated. Rest the device, take shorter, slower draws and check the cartridge is connected properly. A weak flavour often means the coil has not finished wicking, so wait a few minutes after fitting the pod. A burnt coil cannot be repaired, so prevention is the best fix.

How fast is delivery and will I need proof of age?

Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and takes two to three working days. Under £20 it costs £2.99, and next-day delivery is £4.99 for weekday orders placed before 4pm. You must be 18 or over to buy. Every order is verified electronically, and where a check is inconclusive we may ask for ID before dispatch. Full details are on our delivery and returns page, and our age verification page explains the checks.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Unopened, unsealed products can be returned within 14 days. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns on opened e-liquids, disposables or pods. If the kit arrives faulty or stops working, it can be returned within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Keep the original packaging and your order number until you are happy that everything works, and get in touch through our contact page if you need help with a return.

Are there other flavours in the Viscore 8000 range?

Yes. At the time of writing we stock ten flavours in the Viscore 8000 line, including Pink Lemonade, Lemon & Lime, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Cola, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, Milky Strawberry, Watermelon Ice and Watermelon Strawberry, alongside Blue Razz Lemonade. All share the same format and price, and each comes in 10mg or 20mg, so you can swap flavours without changing anything else about how the kit works.

Fast dispatch, well-packaged

Switched from a well-known brand and this is actually better, especially for the price. Will reorder.
